good question!!

i actually very much prefer the red for a few reasons!!

when you take the colour red, it often is associated with strong emotions. passion, danger, anger, courage, bravery, sacrifice, etc. those are all things the hunting dogs must hold to high standards. red shows that they are flashy, out there, bold, and willing to do what it takes to achieve justice.

in contrast, green is often associated with calmness, nature, growth, and health. if anything i would say the hunting dogs go against most of these. they can be calm but they must act harsh when needed, and their bodies are unnaturally altered, meaning they aren’t as in line with nature or proper health.

i feel red just suits them best in colour theming. it was a good choice to change it i think.

there’s also the fact that a lot of media uses green uniforms for high-military members. making the hunting dogs wear red makes them stick out when it comes to imagining said type of groups. it adds a uniqueness to the characters that i love to see.

that annnd. red is my favourite colour :] hehe

To say that he is upset is an understatement. He is beyond furious, he was amused at first at the thought of that he was on your mind; not processing that you cursed him out. After realizing it, he tensed up with the usual smile that he had. He made a few snickers when he heard your opinion about Tachihara, so maybe you'll just say "fuck you" to the rest of the Hunting Dogs... Right? But he couldn't be more wrong your comment about Tecchuo? The so called strongest hunting dogs and Jouno's insufferable partner? Maybe you do need to be trained. And the fact that you even got a response on him infuriates him, how dare he lay eyes on you, and for you to do the same? He would be clenching his fist, ready to drag you out and punish you; maybe a week long trip with him shall be enough. But no, when you finished you threw the mic at him! He want to drag you out of there and chain you in his basement until you submit to him. You were sure you were fucked when you saw him down the hall with the usual smile he had and the mic you threw to his face. He couldn't have Tecchuo dating you now could he? You should only be his.

Tachihara Michizō

He could help but laugh a bit when you cursed Jouno, meaning that he may have a chance with you. But when you said that to him? He hated it. He was actually trying to make things a little more bearable to you, not like that masochist Jouno. He was actually trying to win your heart and you do that to him? And your comment about Tecchuo too! To think that he won a place somewhere in your heart? Absolutely ridiculous! What did Tecchuo have that he didn't? He already decided, he wanted to win you no matter how much it takes. He would protect you from anything including Teruko because of what you've done because she'll march where you are then fight you, but he has to stop her while Jouno went to you. Despite Tachihara's jealousy of Jouno to go to you, he can't have the vice captain hurt you now can he?

Tecchuo Suihiro

He was happy for the fact that you acknowledged him. He loves you by a lot, and for you to have positive feelings for him made him have reassurance that maybe—just maybe, he has a special place somewhere in you heart. He could help but form a small and unconscious smile, a small tint of red adorning his cheeks. His usual poker face is replaced by a gentle expression, his brown orbs having an unusual light in them. He felt warmness spread across his chest, and he laid his head down, remembering the words that you said to him and him only amongst everyone in the room.

He became oblivious to the burning glares that Jouno sent to him. His eyes burning with hatred and annoyance, sending Tecchuo empty threats and glares.

Tecchuo just became more determined, the fact that you have a positive opinion on him only meaned that he was making progress. Maybe it is possible to have you— no to make his dreams come true. You and him on dates, while you send him bright expressions. He wanted to make you the happiest person just like how you are his moon in the dark sky.

Teruko Okura (Platonic)

This girl is so offended, she'll gasp out loud, roll up her sleeves and is so ready to beat you up. Will pout and try to act cute, then beat you up.

She's aggressive, very.

gremlyn's danganronpa: despair time x limbus company au (drdt spoilers under cut up to chapter 2!!)

i LOVE making aus with a target audience of one person (1) by blendering two of my current interests together. this truly was our despair time.

everyone except mai's "sprites" are drawn based on official sprites, and they're meant to be height accurate! or, uh, a valiant attempt was made. at the very least i got to practice drawing everyone 🎉

(complete but constantly changing AU & character notes under cut: LOTS and i mean LOTS of yapping down there. spoilers up to chapter 2 and literature girl insane MV. content warning for "standard danganronpa stuff"; the hidden text in here is about the same level as drdt's hidden tumblr page quotes)

first up is a quick crash course on limbus company! that being said, i don't think i explained myself well at all, so i recommend just checking out the official website. or straight up playing it. i'm happy to answer any and all questions, though, whether here or in my limbus-centric main (@iamjustagremlin)!

and now here are the character notes. i have a Lot to say.

one more minor thing i'm 99% sure forgot to include and am too lazy to fix: the canon sinners are each assigned a color code and a cool descriptor (it doesn't even need to be an adjective. cool factor always wins), such as "oblivion yellow", "dreamy gray", and "inferno red". my brain won't let me tackle these yet, but my first attempt for xander was "courageous crimson", and my first attempt for teruko was "cursed clover".

You were currently out roaming around town with Chuuya after your guy’s mission, when passing by a cafe, you heard a voice call out for Chuuya by his name.

He turned around annoyed but that face continued to turned into discomfort, you looked to see a young boy, maybe 14? He wore a farmer boys clothing and now that you think about it, he might be the boy Chuuya talked about.

The young boy was a ball of sunshine and invited you two to join him around the market, Chuuya was quick to shut him down so the both of you began convincing the ginger.

“Come on, Chuuya! You weren’t this difficult in bed!”, the words from your mouth came so fluidly that you couldn’t stop it.

“NAME ! THERE IS A CHILD PRESENT!”, his voice cracked while his face was redder than when he was usually drunk.

“You both sleep together in the same bed? That’s very intimate, only the married slept together in the same bed back where I’m from,”

Chuuya wasn’t joking when he said there is no one as pure as him…

NIKOLAI;

You were losing your sanity simply being in the same room as this man but it’s the price for the favor you were obliged to help with.

Sigma and Nikolai were going back and forth with Sigma mostly arguing with common sense and Nikolai being who he is, a clown.

“Ugh, how long have you been assisting this man?! I thought you’d at least lose your sanity and be like him not sit there filing your nails!”, Sigma yelled close to pulling his hair out.

“don’t bring me into this, how am I supposed to know that a man putting my pleasure first completely before his is not the same out of bed?”

This one came out accidentally but it’s not like you cared about the two toned man about knowing such information.

“You did WHAT?! And you’re still sane!?”

“Hey, I’m sane, but my standards in men? That’s my therapist’s problem.”

JOUNO;

The mall was a fun and practical, you had all sorts of things in one place from clothing stores to Dior, but to go with Jouno? You were regretting every second that you ignored Tachihara’s warning…

“Those shoes are cute,” “they don’t make sizes for big foot.”

“I wonder if they sell refills for my favorite perfume?” “have you tried taking a shower?”

“let’s go to the food court, I’m hungry!” “We got food at home— also, didn’t you say you weren’t hungry minutes before we left the house?”

A pain in the ass, and not in a good way either. What you wanted to be a fun trip and where you threw all your money, is now a sad walk in silence because you’d either get judged or insulted. On the way, you spotted Teruko walking your way with her sly smile but it slowly dropped when she reached you.

“I thought you said you wanted to splurge on yourself after your paycheck?”, the red head questioned.

Jouno looked a bit taken aback before glancing at you and quickly looking away because you were slightly glaring at him. He began walking away quietly while Teruko waited for your reply even though you hinted that he was the reason.

“Honestly, what did I expect from a man who took complete control bed even while being blind?”, you whispered quietly to the girl who simply chuckled at your comment in surprise.

You swore you saw the man’s head whip so fast and began glaring at you till there were holes in your head, not like you were going to turn to look at him to confirm…

bonus; Jouno proceeded to buy you everything you needed along with your wants and was currently standing next to you with shopping bags stacked on his arm as you were forced to swipe his card to buy those shoes you found cute…
