Microstory prompts: 49. nightfall?

So I actually haven’t written in a Very Long Time and I was hoping that this might help so bear with me, I’m trying! :>

This one is about my tarnished, Tadeusz!

Nightfall

Avoiding his feeling of emptiness seemed easy during the day: there was always something to do, someone to fight or some place to explore, always a distraction to occupy the tarnished’s mind, it seemed easy to banish his thoughts while taking on a new adventure but as the light of the day left its place to the shadows he began to realize how foolish he had been once more, illuding himself that he could outrun his loneliness, his pain, his loss.

The night used to be filled with laughter, with the voice of his father telling stories besides the fire, with the songs of his mother, the villagers uniting to feast… Now they were all gone, Tadeusz was the only one left, alone with this overwhelming silence and a void that he so desperately tried to forget and that would always come back to haunt him as soon as night would fall over him with its melancholic embrace.

He began to make his way back to a safe place, hastily as if trying to outrun his own thoughts - what a fool - he made his step quicker when he saw the light of Grace emanating from the ruins, once he had made it there he sat himself near the source of the light, across the only somewhat friendly face he had found so far.

The merchant looked up at the golden haired boy from across the site of Grace, even sitting down the tarnished still seemed tall as a giant.

“What’s the matter, boy?”

Tadeusz let out a sigh, fighting with the tear that was threatening to slip out of his eye, he summoned a little flame in the palm of his hand and watched it dance, trying to focus on it along with his breathing.

“It’s just… nightfall.”

But yes yes and even Remus who's usually the cold one is suffering in the heat, and he wants desperately to hold Sirius, to maybe transfer some of the warmth to him, but it's still tense between them, and neither of them quite now how to bridge the gap....

But with time, WITH TIME, BAT, because they both live alright, so with time and healing and the growing distance to Azkaban, Sirius slowly regains some of the warmth, like he regains the weight and muscle on his bones as he gets better. It'll never again be like it was before, much like the trauma and depression still linger there remains a chill always close-by. But their home is warm and calm and safe, and there's love, there's so much love, between the two of them, and with Harry, and with Harry's children, so even when that familiar cold takes over his body, he's surrounded by so much emotional warmth - and now, nerves no longer always on edge, he has the chance to relax and let it sink in.

Books

When he was younger, he very much was a book worm and nerd. Canon showed that he was into comics and that this shifted toward specialist literature when he got older. The amount of filmmaker biographies and filmmaking handbooks he's devoured is pretty impressive! I also HC him to have read all sorts of weird fiction. Horror literature of course, ghost stories and the likes. But also thrillers and mysteries. And books about history and architecture, obviously for the show. Boy's got brains! I'm convinced that him having read so much played a huge part in why he managed to figure out the building's shifting architecture.

Demons

Didn't believe in them before canon, obviously, but still thought the concept of them was creepy. Though sure enough, he definitely thought about striking up a deal to get rich and famous. He was just the right type for that. And isn't it kinda ironic that in a way, he did end up in a demon deal due to wanting to be rich and famous haha. Post canon? He hates them. Full stop. Though at the same time, he's drawn to them and can't ever help it. Only exception to the hate is Aza/thoth obviously, though he totally should hate it. But he can't. Doesn't want to. Won't.

God(s)

Due to his show and interests, he's read his fair share about all sorts of gods and religions. He found the concepts to be super interesting reads, but just like with anything else, he didn't believe in any of them. Quite frankly, he found it all a bit ridiculous that people actually believe in any of it. Post canon? He still doesn't believe in them, refuses to accept that they exist and that any of them would let any of the stuff that happened to him and his team happen. Well, to be more specific, he doesn't believe and doesn't want to believe that any good one exist. He can get behind barbaric and chaotic ones existing, with Aza/thoth being the prime example, but other than that...if he comes across one, he'll flat out fucking deck a god in the face because their mere existence will make him angry, will feel like an insult to him. Yes, he'll punch god in the face and tell him to go fuck him/her/itself.

Oh that depends very heavily on who those characters are and what phase of the relationship they're seeing us at!!

I think that when we're undercover in Canada, people are just like 'oh yeah, the local manic pixie girl and her weird silent boyfriend.' And the League of Villains, I think most of them see me as a softie who's infected Shigaraki, but they kind of like me despite that: like I'm an idealistic idiot, but at least I bake them cookies, you know?

👺. Demons : Does your S/I have a developed past? If so, how does that affect your ship? Conversely, how does your F/Os backstory affect it?

This is not one of my fully developed self-inserts! They're just kinda vibing.

Shigaraki's backstory is very key to the relationship because they first met while he was de-aged and a lot of their dynamic is dealing with Shigaraki's trauma.

ngl, lately I've been thinking a lot about the career tributes, and what their life is like, how they are basically brainwashed into thinking participating to the Hunger Games is this great honor. And particularly the relationship between Clove and Cato, who were clearly in love and probably also influenced the gamemakers' decision to alter the rules in the 74th Hunger Games. All this to say that I've been considering adding Clove 🙈 We only get Katniss' POV of Clove, and I think it would really interesting to explore her, and give her some nuance and humanity.

23. Weirdest f1 ship you've read a fic about?

You really wanna expose me there😭 Mmmhh I read a fic where Fernando and Lawrence were married and Lance's dads, but the focus wasn't on them, so I don't know if it counts? I also read a couple of HornerxCyril fics, but still, I don't know if it's weird enough. And I accidentally read part of a CharlesxCarlos Sainz Sr once lol keyword is accidentally, I was scrolling fast, I didn't read the tags properly (this happens too often, I get my fair share of jumpscares because of this) and I thought it was a normal Charlos (little did I know...)

24. Underrated ship you like?

Uuuh I don't know it can be considered an underrated ship or a crackship or what, but definitely Kimi and Antonio! (they even managed to sneak in the sewis fic I'm trying to write)

35. Do you follow formula 2/formula 3?

Formula 3 not that much, I know some of the drivers but not much more. As to F2, I've actually started to follow it not a long time ago! I knew some drivers and more or less what was happening (thanks to my Tumblr dash lol) but I wasn't really involved. Over the past weeks I've taken an interest in it, especially thanks to Ollie (seeing him winning Monza in person was so cool!!)

36. Do you follow other forms of motorsport?
