While it's happening I was wondering if we could do a little something to bring some positivity, like a huge week to honor/thanks the admins that work so hard on the server.

Hola :D I just wanted to thank you for being so positive lately and looking at things regarding the qstudio situation with nuance. It feels like people have been so stressed and angry after all of the admin stuff came that they began to take every bit of news we hear as some sign that bad things are to come . I think a lot of people underestimated just how long this process can take, there a lot of factors to be considered here, including: q's lack of experience, the union, the laws, the admins. And unfortunately there is no way to satisfy everyone when it comes to stuff like this. This was never going to take a week or two, I feel like people didn't fully understand that.

Some admins are going to be pushed out of the project due to the lack of funds and the fact that this is a legal issue first and for most. It's unfair but it's the law. Not everyone understands that and because of that people are going to say things without understanding the situation. Not every thing is black and white and sometimes things aren't going to work out the way we want them to. Nobody is perfect and we shouldn't expect people involved in this situation to act like that. Which is why you should always look at the situation from multiple perspectives before forming an opinion.

It makes me feel tired to see the same takes over and over agian with no nuance. So your post have really helped me feel better :) I've seen people from both qsmpblr and qsmptwt act like every ccs involved in this is a war criminal or like this is a admins vs quackity or french/brazil vs quackity. It's kinda drove me off most social sites and forced me to only watch YouTube and stuff (on the good side of things, I've been watching quackity's discord videos and some dsmp vods :D it's been fun)

What I am trying to say is that, scrolling through your blog feels like a breath of fresh air and has made me feel 8× more calm about this situation. I don't think doomposting is necessarily bad but after seeing so much of it, sometimes you just need to distance yourself and look at the good parts of life. No matter how much I complain, I am never changing the course that qstudio is headed and neither can any one else, The only one who can do that is quackity. I hope that he does the right thing and the studio gets better. I love the characters that qsmp has brought us and the community it has formed, qsmp is a beautiful project that I want to see thrive. For now the only thing I can do as a viewer is hope for the best <3

So, this has been in my askbox for a while because I was so grateful and happy to hear I've helped someone!! Thank you sm anon that means a lot to me and knowing I'm keeping others optimistic, helps me feel optimistic too! :D

This is a very complex situation with so many moral grey areas mixed with black and white. It's not simple, it's not easy. These things cannot be fixed in a matter of weeks, you're absolutely right about that.

I also agree doomposting isn't necessarily bad! It's a good way to get off some steam and vent/ rant for a bit. There's nothing wrong with that. We all need it at times. For me, personally, it becomes toxic when that's ALL I'm seeing in social media. When I go on my phone and all I see is negativity, that's when I need to call it quits and start blocking people or start taking time away (which is why I deleted twt off my phone) everyone's tolerance levels are different ofc, so, not everyone is affected by that negativity, but I certainly was. This is why I want my blog to be positive and uplifting and you know what? Each and every time I get a ask or a message thanking me for that, I gain faith in humanity and it just encourages me to keep being positive! I'm so thankful for your ask and dw it wasn't trauma dumping at all!! :D I hope you're doing well anon! Take care of yourself. You matter

Honestly, I’m just interested to see what happens to Green Team today.

Because they lost yesterday, right? “The Green Ninjas have been terminated”, thanks Evil Eyeball In The Sky. But what does that mean?

There are several predictions the fandom and the ccs have come up with:

Green gets split into the other two teams

Green’s players can’t participate in the server for the remainder of Purgatory, aka a week or so

Green’s players get sent back to Quesadilla Island

Green’s characters are all fucking dead now ig

Looking at these options, it’s like. Man, idk which it’ll be.

Because splitting Green into the other teams might come off as cheap and against Purgatory’s harshness. Also, Quackity had a big huge speech yesterday about never getting onto Purgatory again because his team was about to lose, so idk man

Making the ccs not log in for a week would, frankly, suck. Not everyone on Green is a Minecraft streamer, and most of them are variety streamers, but a lot of them have been streaming mostly just QSMP, or at least have been spending at least half of their streams on the QSMP, since their first days on the server. It’s not as bad as it would be for Blue, whose more active members are Minecraft streamers, but yeah. Awkward

Sending everyone back to Quesadilla would be cool, but I can only imagine the logistical nightmare it would be considering how many admins it takes to run one of the QSMP servers, especially one as mod-heavy as Purgatory. Also? It’d be a lot like how it was when everyone was in Vegas: empty, only there wouldn’t even be murders to solve. Just the black concrete.

And making everyone make new characters is just shitty tbh, that’s not gonna happen

Ah, as some of you might have noticed I have been very inactive these past few weeks. Honestly, it was a combination of things. The whole admin situation, no inspiration and mainly life got just busy.

Coming back to hear that the egg event is essentially over and that the admins of Lullah, Chayanne and Richarlyson are leaving is bittersweet. I have been here since the beginning of the qsmp and no one can truly deny on how much life the eggs brought to the server.

I am gonna miss them and that era of my life so much.

The qsmp and its storylines has allowed me to get back into drawing and art, and I am forever grateful for that. I hope that it will continue to inspire language and culture exchanges. It has introduced me to some fantastic creators that I would have never come across otherwise. I have cried and laughed so much.

So a sincere thank you to the admins of Lullah, Chayanne and Richarlyson. (And all the eggs admins). You were absolutely brilliant. The server and its stories would not be the same without you.

I will continue to hang around, watch Philza and participate in the community. My life is changing and so is the qsmp, so I do not know how frequently as of yet. This is not a goodbye hopefully but a see you soon and a letter of appreciation to all the eggs admins.

How am I dealing with the news ?

Not good, like you all. But.....probably better in a way. Why ? Because, i didn't love too much Chayanne and Lullah. Not because i didn't like them (because i liked them, no worries ) but i didn't look often POVs where they were so i didn't grew attached as much as some of you did. Not the same with Richas, though.

But, also.... Because, from the beginning, i knew something will be dying, will be changing and that we will never have QSMP like it was. And for now weeks, we already loose our eggs (Pomme, for us ). So, in a way, i was preparing myself for it. I am sad, yes but a part of me knew things will inevitabily change. Let's just see how it goes, now. News, without trying to presume things.

But they all will be missed. Thanks for your hard work. And don't worry, we will always remember you and love you, admins.

I’ve wanted to properly say my personal opinion on this in an actual post for a while, now’s a good time as any

I realized a few weeks ago that I do not feel capable of adding to the admingate conversation, especially in regards to abusive workplace treatment involving the unions & how various international laws play a role. It’s way out of my league.

like I admit with my full chest I came here to watch cubes and don’t know about all these complex topics, and I have no time I can give to researching all of them. that’s why I’ve personally taken a rather distanced stance. this is complex and emotionally heavy stuff that needs careful attention, I’m not able to speak about it well within my experience/knowledge as I’d like, so I don’t feel comfortable or that it’s my place in doing so

I do take a pretty wide outlook on the situation with the time and energy I can allocate to it. the things I’ve heard from admins involved say it’s not looking any better, while others in the project say it’s being improved in a good direction. It’s different opinions on every side- and that’s pretty usual for a situation like this with lots of people and moving parts. in the end we as the onlooker fans can’t know anything except what we’re shown.

In the same way, I think you guys are valid to your own opinions and interpretations, whether it be negative or optimistic, neutral or what be you. I am aware of how you all feel, and like. it’s your own blogs post however you want

The approach I’ve found myself taking here is “support the admins. hold tentative hope for the project to be handled in a proper manner.” thus I continue to primarily send my appreciation and gratitude to admins who have suffered greatly & unfairly, who have worked hard, and I continue watching how the server is being handled with the hope it can be improved in better conditions.

I think a day where the QSMP permanently shuts down burns dies in a fire and explodes + everyone I enjoy on it leaves would be the day I release my final hope for it and leave too. but I don’t think I’d leave qsmpblr forever, you’re all too awesome :3

I truly want to see it get better. In no other place would I get to watch people on opposite sides of the globe like YD and BBH who don’t know each others native language at all meet and become best friends. those two have given me joy recently :’)

so I will keep a close eye observing, waiting to see how it develops the coming months/year

Lastly, I’ll make something clear.

As I touched on earlier, chances are I’ve heard all about something even if I don’t post on it. If anyone expects replies from me talking about the workplace abuse, management privilege, international unions & laws, again I reiterate- I know I cannot give an educated reply on that and would end up poorly regurgitating all the same stuff we’ve already heard hundreds of times the past month which isn’t me helping anything. I truly wish I could somehow make things better for myself and everyone by doing that, but I can’t. and it won’t.

so like if you’ve sent asks, thank you. and I know. but topics like this in my inbox likely won’t get a response. dw it’s not on you guys ❤️

I hope any members of our community who may read this are doing well. I know it’s difficult to be in this odd, frustrating limbo situation and have a lot of complicated mixed feelings about whats going on with this media that means a lot to you. You felt what the beautiful highs of the QSMP are like, and now you’ve become aware of the lowest lows. I get it, it’s been hard

if you want to stick around with your streamer and see what happens next then sure you do that. if you need to take a step back, disengage from the content for a while or just leave entirely then sure you do that.

After Pomme's and dapper's admins left I saw some people on tiktok saying things like "oh I hope chayanne and lullah doesnt leave theyre my favs" and yk I understand you like the character but fuck this.

I Hope they leave too , with their own will of course , maybe things will change then. And it will be too late to go back.

I hope every admins find something better because this is making me mad . I haven't Watched qsmp in 3 weeks because I dont want to support that. No hate to the ccs of course , but to the people behind all this shit

Something to say

It's been a few days but we think it's important to mention it and we hope that, after these complicated weeks, we will soon be able to continue creating content as usual but, before that, there are a couple of things we want to remind you:

Besides the fact that the admins of this blog come from three different countries, with three completely different cultures: Brazil, Mexico and Argentina, some of us belong to the LGBTQ+ community or are part of the neurodivergent spectrum.

That's why we are very serious about creating a safe space for a whole community that likes the Guapoduo/Spiderbit ship as well as the individual development of qRoier and qCellbit thanks to the great work that both CC's have done, inspiring incredible illustrated, written or molded art or simply as a healthy distraction after a hard day away from the internet.

Therefore, we do not tolerate hate speech, xenophobia or lgbtphobia under any circumstances. We believe in the main purpose of the QSMP server because our favorite CCs are the clear example of that purpose: to break down cultural or language barriers to create unbreakable bonds of friendship and community. Anyone who goes against those ideals and feels comfortable being racist or homophobic, no matter how much they consume QSMP does not and will never belong to the community.

Justaguapoduoshipper not only started with the idea of sharing Spiderbit content through analysis, fanfiction or art in general. But through the culture of both creators involved: Mexican and Brazilian, with the help of their music, customs, traditions and even with the cultural clashes that make us realize that even with them we can build strong friendships through dialogue, empathy and mutual understanding.

We invite you to keep proud of your roots, your native language, your culture as well as your sexual identity and gender expression. For our part, we will continue to create content for anyone who needs a place to have fun, be distracted or even take refuge.

Jokes aside, I’m gonna miss the eggos

Im still a bit blindsided, but I wish the admins that left the best of luck on whatever life has to offer them in the future. They brought so much life to the server and that fact can’t be denied.

I won’t lie, Qsmp might become quiet for awhile after these events (I’m calling this the “egg withdrawal”), but that does not mean the project is dead. I like to think this marks the end of an era, and although it’s sad to see it end, I’m hoping this helps open a door to more opportunities and ideas on how the server can help bring cultures and the people together. That was the main goal in the very beginning. The egg event was the first successful event that helped bring so many people together. Although it’s very likely we’ll never see anything like this again, it was still an amazing experiment to witness. In conclusion, I have faith that this marks the beginning to many more fun events to come, but only time will tell.

But we can’t forget the current situation at hand

It’s like how quackity said in beginning when addressing the whole situation, “this all can’t be fixed in under a week, this stuff takes time” I won’t lie, it’s going to take even more time for the stuff to finally get sorted behind the scenes. Especially taking into account that this man is still rebuilding his entire operation from the bottom. I can’t say much since there might be things that may be out of my knowledge, but waiting is our best bet here. I should know since I’ve seen a lead dev of a game I was really into back then get hella stressed, especially with the community constantly behind their back about things they were clearly aware of. One of the most heartbreaking things I’ve witnessed on my time on the internet. So all I ask from you people, please do not act entitled to any of this information, ITS PRIVATE FOR A REASON. The situation will be more clear once everything has calmed down big time in the studios.

One final thing I would like to touch o. This community has been one of the best things that I’ve had the pleasure of joining. Generally one of the most wholesome things I’ve witnessed on all my internet years, and I thank you all for letting me have the pleasure to meet you people. I’ll still be sticking around, but if you are leaving us, then thank you for being apart of this amazing journey with me. Even if we never had the pleasure of talking.

Anyways, I hope you guys have a wonderful rest of your day, drink water, get some rest, and stay safe. You’re all so special to me in a way

Well...Happy 1 year of QSMP I guess...

There's just no easy way to say anything about everything that's been happening the past few weeks and everything that's happened since yesterday because it's a fucking dumpster fire and I'm just so tired of it all to be honest...

But this post isn't about that.

I still want to celebrate this server's first year anniversary because of how much it means to me personally. I made a post talking about how I initially started watching the qsmp (two days early 💀) but I'll reiterate what I've always said:

That despite all the problems of the server, despite all the damage that has been done, never forget what it has managed to achieve and hopefully continues to achieve in the future, under better conditions.

The QSMP's mission was to unite people from all over the world to play together and be friends despite speaking different languages and having different cultures. It united communities and formed friendships across the globe. Personally, achieving that takes more than just sticking random people in the same room together because it's about making genuine connections that could last a lifetime. And the qsmp achieved that. I'll never stop saying this because despite all its glaring problems, the qsmp is revolutionary for all the good it has managed to do.

Ok, like think about the translations alone. I'm using Bad as an example because he's the only one so far that I've seen do this but, BBH has set up live translations of multiple languages on his screen so non-english speakers can still understand his streams and his vods even if he's not playing on the qsmp. That wouldn't have happened without the QSMP's influence. That's fucking incredible!

Think about all the CC's and admins that became friends after meeting on the server. Former admins like Lumi (Pomme) and Shade (Dapper) still talking to Bad on his chat and watching his stream. That's still really awesome! Not to mention all the amazing collaboration projects with many qsmp members outside minecraft like Ordem Paranormal and Liar Liar, to name a few.

Look, the last three weeks have been extremely difficult on everyone. I myself am tired of the situation and scrolling through the tag, especially after yesterday, just makes me sad tbh. For the first time since these weeks, I felt so despondent and shocked about everything. It got to the point where, after Shade and Lumi announced their departure, I called my mom and broke down sobbing and vented about the whole admin situation. And bless her heart, my mom actually listened and I'm going to share the advice she gave me:

"Let them fix the problem. Let the company do the restructuring they need to do because right now, it sounds like they have a lot of problems to fix. It's going to take a long time before things can go back to any sense of normalcy, so while they do that, focus on yourself for now. If you're so invested in all the problems of this online world, maybe it's time to step back for now. Maybe it's time to focus on the real world."

And well, she's right. I've been so upset about the situation that my mental health wasn't faring well because of it. Yesterday was kind of a wake up call for me I guess?

I've been in this fandom for 10 months now. It's the longest time I've been invested in a community and qsmp has and will always have a special place in my heart. But I think it's time to let go and move on for now. I'll keep my hopes up and hope that the future is bright, and the qsmp will continue because it has so much potential to achieve more greatness, but I'll leave the project to rest and focus on other endeavors for now.

I'll be posting art and checking in on stuff from time to time, and of course, I'll be watching BBH, but it might be time to depart and say, "Thanks for everything, and I'll see you later."

Most people will be ashamed to mention the fandoms they've been a part of when they were younger, but 10 years from now, if anyone ever asks if I was a part of the qsmp fandom, I'll gladly say yes and tell all the good stories I have about it.

I love the community we made here on qsmpblr, and if I trust the QSMP's mission of uniting people, then I trust that, no matter what happens, this community will be here when I return.

Because...Despite everything, it's all about love, right? And no matter what happens, the love is still there, and will always be.

i admire you for continuing to be somehow positive about this whole situation, cuz i cant anymore. i gave quackity the benefit of the doubt after his first stream but after the contradictions and the admins speaking out i can't, i'm just too dissapointed and also a bit mad. i understand people trying to be positive but at the same time it kinda feels like they're choosing to be ignorant about the whole situation. i guess there's a chance of things getting better but i don't see how. the fandom has been divided by the people that believe in quackity blindly and the people that want proof things are actually better. im tired of waiting. i want proof that the admins are actually being treated with respect. i want proof that the labor laws are being respected. and even if we get that proof i dont think this fandom will ever be how it used to be. i don't know if its because of the fact that the labor laws are pretty similar in brazil and france so this two fandoms can understand each other pretty well, or because of the xenophobia that they both went through, but it kinda feels like they're the only one's having each other backs. from what i've seen the last few weeks the brazilians dont want to watch it anymore or support qsmp because it just feels wrong. we might watch our streamer if they decide to play in the server but i dont see anyone excited or wanting to interact with the fandom anymore and its sad.

tbh there are things that parts of the fandom have said and done regarding this that will forever irk me but lets focus on all the cool aspects instead ! the way everyone was able to interact with people from all over the world who love the same thing they do, share languages and culture.

i love the solidarity between french speaking and brazilian communities so much. Maybe it’s because we share some similarities on the way we view these kind of things, maybe it’s a "you and me against the world" thing after we both got a lot of shit and maybe it’s both ! so thankful for it in any case. it’s sad to see these two communities who were so active both leaving one after another though, what a waste…

I'm not one to talk about fandoms I'm part of publicly beside posting art for them, but I figured with the state of things and a whole collection of unfinished art just gathering dust in my storage, that I should at least show how much qsmp means to me as a piece of media that has molded and changed me (and taught me a decent amount of Portuguese!!)

This isn't a talk about the state of things or what I will do now, but more of an appreciation of what I have experienced as a viewer.

I've been in the fandom since the first appearance of the eggs, they were what drew me into the qsmp as the first few days were just boring to me and the eggs created a telenovela like no other. In fact, the first time the eggs got kidnapped I didn't watch a single stream until they came back, though I didn't fully get into it again until Tubbo came along. And then my interest and enjoyment became inspiration, and I started creating more work for a fandom than I ever had before. And I used to be part of the hetalia, homestuck and dsmp fandoms, so I've been around concepts that were widely inspirational for a while.

What really made me stay, even with the draw of the eggs, was ultimately the relationships between the various people that I got to see displayed in the streams whether they were performing as the characters (the fitpac relationship or the bonds between the parents and the eggs especially Sunny and Tubbo) or when they interacted as people (morning crew Lego Fortnite my beloved).

Because at the time I was so used to streamers just playing video games solo and to this day that stuff is soo boring to me. So I really hope that the one thing that we can remember is how important the interaction is for the popularity of the server and I don't think anything I could do or say would show how much gratitude I have towards the admins who performed roles that really gave us as viewers the necessary interactions to let the streamers really shine.

Whether we see them again somewhere else or not, I hope the admins can still pursue careers that would allow them to flex those skills some more. I especially feel bad for Chunsiks admin who really didn't get enough time to spend with their in game family, who I hope was still able to make some connections with the other members of the admins even with their short time on the server.

I don't know what the future holds, but I want to be able to show the world that even if there were a lot of downs to this story, the community (at least here on Tumblr) has been one of the wildest (/pos) communities that I have been part of and even though I couldn't participate in qsmp language day or mcyt disability week, they were so important to me as both a person who's forgotten their first language and has to deal with disabilities, and it was the first community that I really felt I was part of and would be accepted in (thank you huevitos and ratinhos for the marriage that really made me the happiest ever) even as a mostly lurker with the one exception of a teaduo piece TTuTT

Anyway, I will be spamming the feed in a bit with a whole set of wips and illustrations for qsmp so that they can at least stop gathering dust if not anything else.

Hello lovely folks, I wanted to just say I am closing off the Diaries of a Child's Love. It was super fun to write, but I fell into the trap I often fall into where being active in the fandom becomes a task. I was writing immediately after watching. Now that I am back at school I haven't been watching at all. Plus now with the negotiations, we don't know when the admin will be back for the series to even pick up again if I do get time watch it. After this weeks release of It Takes A Village, I will be closing that one off as well. I love the QSMP but I am going to be taking more of a backseat since I haven't watched anyone in almost two or three months. I can't even keep proper track anyone.
