I've been thinking about this lately, so, here's my Slay the Princess ships and why I ship them:
Witch x Damsel, aka Sleeping Briars: There's just something that's so compelling about the two "fairytale" vessels---aka, a witch and your classic damsel in distress---who can both lead to some of the most romantic routes in the game. The dynamic between a devious little prankster who has serious trust issues and can't let anyone get close as a result and an adorable sweetheart who trusts everyone and falls in love way too fast is really interesting to me, and I think they'd actually be pretty good influences on each other.
Adversary x Razor: Two ladies who love fighting, bloodshed, and pain in general? The potential is right there. They're different enough that there's some dimension, but they're similar enough that their dynamic would be killer. Literally.
Spectre x Stranger: Honestly, I just think that they're both very charming and would probably get along really well, but there is something to be said about them being the two Vessels you get when you don't really give the Princess a chance---either if you kill her without hesitation and get Spectre, or if you refuse to even meet her and get Stranger. They're both lonely and scattered, and maybe they'd find something in each other.
Thorn x Wild (Wounded): There's something really sweet and intimate about two people who've hurt and been hurt finding comfort in each other. Idk, I think it's nice.
Burned Grey x Drowned Grey: It's... it's right there. The duality is right there. The wedding gown and the funeral gown, the fire and the water---it's right there.
Prisoner x Skeptic: This is really the only Voice/Vessel ship I've got on my list, and it's because in my opinion, it's the most grounded. Prisoner is arguably the most human out of all of the vessels, and Skeptic's whole thing of picking things apart and looking at everything from a different angle feels like a pretty reasonable response to the insanity of the construct. Her cynicism combined with his suspicious attitude could make for a really interesting dynamic, and I think they'd balance each other out well.
Contrahero: Come on. Come on. They're perfect. The first time I saw the Stranger ending, my head was already buzzing with "they're staying in the cabin? Together? Married couple! Married couple!" thoughts. I'm far from the only person in the fandom who sees how amazing the dynamic of the intrepid knight and the goofy little jester is.
Smitten x Cold: The dynamic between the dashing romantic who lives off of passion and feeling and the tired and quiet soul who seems to have cut himself off from emotion altogether is too compelling to ignore. The tension just writes itself.
Stubborn x Opportunist: While these two seem pretty different at first glance, I think the fact that both of them are voices who don't know when to quit speaks wonders as to how they might bounce off of each other. One of them solves problems through fists and fighting and the other solves problems through words and deceit---and I think that creates a pretty interesting duo.
Huntcheat: @tai-janai got me hooked. It's actually pretty damn adorable, I dunno what else to say.
(Also, Nightmare is aromantic in pretty much every one of my AUs, and Paranoid is aroace more often than not)

The fight that the voice of the smitten and cold have at the beginning of the burned grey route is so funny to me.

the shifting mound: where is everyone?
the witch: the burned set the couch on fire again, the adversary is trying to intimidate the prisoner, the wild is trying to rip the seams of the construct, and i'm in charge so-
the shifting mound: YOU'RE IN CHARGE???
the witch: why is THAT the thing you're panicking about??

Damsel feels like the specific Vessel that all the others would refrain from being cruel or mean towards. Like she is at least on neutral grounds with every last one of them. Let's go over the Vessels from most to least "Hostile" lets go in order. (I am leaving out Chapter 3's that are mostly unchanged from their Chapter 2 form, such as Eye of needle and Den)
-Hostile initially-
Fury would see Damsel as something...off. The bottom of her dress soaked in blood, as she sits on a random tumor sticking up from the ground and smiles up at her. Fury would not want to test her.
Beast would react to Damsel the same way a lioness reacts to a baby wildebeast that doesn't run, but instead nuzzles up to her. With confusion and hesitation. She wouldn't know what to do with someone so, unafraid.
Wraith would simply not interect with her, prefering to brood angrily alone. Damsel's very presence would make Wraith recall her happier days, and hurt her.
Nightmare would get no thrill out of hurting someone who doesn't even consider fighting back or being afraid. She would grow bored and apethetic to Damsel very quickly. Treating her more akin to a potted plant than a conversation partner from then on.
Witch would be bewildered by someone like Damsel, someone soo genuine. She would see this easily betrayable vessel and feel a form of sympathy for her. Being like a cool older cousin that looks out for you while also teaching you new swear words for fun.
-Neutral initially-
Burned Grey would feel like she reminds them of better days and act like a responsible mentor figure,
Drowned would just think Damsel is naive and too chipper and ignore her akin to Wraith.
Wild would not directly interact with Damsel in any way. But in her woods, Damsel would always find a cleae way in and out, free from any harrasment by the more aggresive animal life within it.
Razor would stab her. But when Damsel ran out of "new things to show her" while being stabbed, Razor would basically be like Damsel's shadow. Learning to imitate Damsel to better pretend to be normal, but otherwise, wouldn't think too much of her.
Thorn would not trust Damsel, as she doesn't trust anyone initially. But Damsel being willing to sit at the edge of her brambles and chat does slowly earn her that trust. Damsel would be the first friend that Thorn makes among the other Vessels.
Deconstructed just wants to make her happy!
-Friendly initially-
Adversary would bring Damsel along with her to any competition as her own personal cheerleader. And if the event went well, would treat Damsel to some some form of sweet treat on the way out. Damsel would also be the only one that would willingly taste test Adversary's new workout diet ideas.
Tower would demand Damsel praise her, worship her, as she does all others. Damsel would gladly do so, and the two would become fast friends. Tower would treat Damsel like a treasured song bird who always sings the right tune.
Prisoner is well aquainted with her twins peculiarities. They get along great, but also know to take some time to enjoy being away from the other. Absence makes the heart grow fonder after all...not to mention Prisoner does NOT like being confused for her sister, even momentarily.
Specter and Damsel would be having slumber parties and doing eachothers nails by the end of day 1. Best friends, secret handshakes, inside jokes, the works.
Stranger appreciates that Damsel is willing to address all of themself, and not just one face. This earns her the trust and friendship of even her Monsterous facet. Something no one else has done, while being liked by the other facets of herself.

One thing I’d like to note with damsel to grey route it highlights princess push comes to shove destructiveness we’re at first she’s just happy besides possibly the happiest she’s ever been and there not much else to her, then she’s gets murdered (by choice apparently) and deduces quite quickly that there forces pulling the strings here and sets a trap for Birdman and burns everything to the ground sacrificing herself and loved one. This princess presumably at her weakest and she destroyed everything
You can also see this with the networked wild of all things (beast route) “NO! I devoured you! I won! I put things back the way they were supposed to be!” It’s this determination to be happy and when going up against the narrator deciding to nuke everything in the process ie burn stuff to the ground, eat Birdman to forcibly fuse then destroy the construct (if you decide to not listen to the narrator in networked wild)
I really like princess
YEAH, YES The Shifting Mound/the Princess in all her forms is... as Hero puts it in some variations of the ending, "She's relentless, isn't she?" The Narrator was right that she'll find her way out -- if you don't give it to her, she will make you. Even the Damsel, in the end. The Princess is very, very good.

So, as far as I can figure out, the chapter 3s (at least the ones that we have pre-Pristine Cut) are in four categories:
Unique to their corresponding chapter 2 princess, basically an evolved version of them (The Apotheosis, The Moment of Clarity, The Eye of the Needle, The Den, The Thorn)
Can be reached via two different chapter 2s, basically fusions of them (The Fury, The Wraith)
Can be reached via two different chapter 2s, but can be incredibly different depending on the decisions you make (The Burned Grey/The Drowned Grey, The Networked Wild/The Wounded Wild)
The Razor routes (The Arms Race/Mutually Assured Destruction, No Way Out/The Empty Cup)

Damsel and Burned Grey with color. Damsel is alright bit I definitely think I could have done better with Burned Grey
No idea if you can turn captions off but getting good images of both these two was no easy task so that definitely played into it
Also while I plan on doing Prisoner, I'm likely not going to do Drowned Grey bc I'm ngl I don't see anything changing so it'd be kinda pointless. I MIGHT give her a bit of an eye glow but even that seems kinda pointless as well
So Prisoner is probably just gonna get her own post. MAYBE share one with Stranger if I decide to do them
