Sometimes I wish the McElroy Family started recording video for MBMBAM earlier and one of those moments I’d kill to see in HD is when Justin called his local chipotle asking about the Tony Hawk Burrito in August 2020 and the employee that answered the phone recognized him. I'm probably gonna regret saying this, but criticizing Travis McElroy as a player, game master, comedian, actor and writer is honestly valid. I listened to all of Graduation and didn't like it for a multitude of reasons. (No hate to those who enjoyed it, I just don't believe it was well-constructed. Also, the centaur camp arc was just. Yikes.)

But these days I'm seeing some people critique and analyze Travis' marriage and personal life. Making judgment calls about his brothers and Clint and how they all feel about each other, genuinely hoping for their collective downfall and it's just ... really weird and mean, imo.

Like I understand their whole branding is the McElroy Family. That it's specifically geared to make us feel like we're part of it, that we know them, that they're our brothers too, but at the end of the day we are literally not. We straight up do not actually know them and we cannot make judgment calls about their personal lives

I still think about how Travis McElroy has diagnosed NPD and people online are sooooo mean to him when he shows symptoms of it.

I don't make it a habit of defending white men but my goodness he tries so hard to be such a sweetheart and he does well imo. He apologized after the very few incidents he's had (which a lot of the little twinks yall idolize would never) and people still use the opportunity to shit on him.

You do not have to like the man, though, if you're interacting with the McElroy family content and you HATE him? Find a new source of entertainment and stop spreading your shit insults around the people who can be normal around nerodivergent symptoms they don't like.
