I don't understand people who find Tidelord's lore absence genuinely upsetting (not simply annoying for the lack of further elaboration in years).

It has no impact on gameplay and he's physically still in his lair, fed and with 11.7k likes, so why do some people feel so strongly about if he's missing in lore and his forum avatar shows bubbles in place of his face?

(this isnt a response to the recent ask mentioning tidelords absence but it did remind me of time when tidelord absent father jokes were popular and some people seemed particularly angry over the blue pixel dragon)
