fave dylb scenes bc I can't get over and I’m already rewatching and noticing little things heheee

- first meeting outside the restaurant. ohh how I love how awkward yet endearing they both were when they finally introduced themselves to one another. rewatching it made me realize that JY was already smitten by SA since the start. (like literally since the start y'all!!! he didn't even know her yet and wanted to stop the car to get SA an umbrella and this was in the first ep!!)

- when JY switched coffee cups with SA bc she spilt her cup and he started drinking it so she can’t refuse even though he doesn’t like coffee. Like he just did it bc he was compelled to do so?? like dude what if she already drank from it??? This scene was so funny to me and I love it cuz I dont think SA is used to being the one taken care of like that so it was just v cute

- when the noona was trying to get them to talk banmal but SA was like oh noooo he’s a superstar. This was cute bc you can actually see that JY was disappointed. Also they keep sneaking peeks at each other lol cute fools

- waiting for taxi scene- this was so freaking adorable. shows how considerate they both are for each other and it’s so freaking awkward when they both realized they were standing there waiting for each other to get a taxi- but like in the cutest way

- when they were both outside that restaurant and SA asked if JY enjoyed his performance at granny’s house and I think this was the first time someone asked our boy if he likes what he does for a living and you can just tell his heart went soft for her(same dude same)

- spontaneous non-date date. ohh I love the first time they ate together at that beer place. they really started to get to know each other there. the mood and how that scene was filmed was just chef’s kiss~~

- rehearsal room we should be friends scene. when homeboy transitioned from moonlight sonata to happy birthday, y'all knew it was over for SA- god damn I would have swoon over too

- by the river “I wanted to see you” scene- high key JY sucks at communicating but I love how he is just so taken by SA that he just flat out says he misses her and as soon as he says it he was almost shocked himself. so pure

- the midnight call. I MEAN. guys. guys. he wanted to just talk to her and ask her out but tried to be nonchalant about it. ahhh they literally portrayed the first stages of dating so well I'm goo for it !!!!!!

- first walk together in the walkway. this was just so adorable. the almost hand holding. the chemistry!! the shy smiles :’’’)

- SA’s birthday when she thanked JY for just being there for her. I love how she quietly acknowledges him and it was such an intimate interaction between them. I replay that scene a lot in my head

- when he ran to SA to give her his signed CD. He was so worried about her he forgot about JK lmaooo. Also the fact the he validated her as a violinist when SA was at a very low point... I mean... boyfriend material ugh

- the scene when SA told JY every little thing he does concerns her and that she didn’t want to feel that way about him anymore. As soon as SA said that homeboy PANICKED!!! I don’t even think he knew how much he liked SA until she said that :’)

- the lunchroom scenes 1) when they were teasing each other and 2) when JY announced that they were dating lolol I love how stoic he normally is but for SA he becomes a softie hehe

-ice cream day date; lol when SA won’t let JY tie her shoelaces bc she didn’t want to fall for him lol ok girl

-night ice cream/ stairs date. y'all know already. shit was just adorable. SA going for the kiss. I melted with the ice cream

- when JY asked SA for her handkerchief!!! it’s such a small gesture but they both knew it had a special meaning and I love how it put SA over the moon. (Also let’s include all the other times we see JY actually use that handkerchief- especially after they broke up. like homeboy was holding on to it for his dear life bc it was the only thing he had of SA~~ my fragile heart!!) ps did we ever see SA get a handkerchief from him???? No??? Sbs give me that pls

- when MS was telling JY in the car that SA has only openly confessed liking two things in her life and one them was JY. He was so flustered and couldn’t hide his smile and dimples... bruhhhhh he was full on swoon. Also when JY heard SA say that she really likes JY like he was so proud of himself lmao he’s like “yeah my gf LIKES ME” lolol

- when the lovebirds fought who was gonna clean up the broken glass at JY apartment. I love loveee this one bc SA has been beaten down so much by everyone calling her talentless that she didn’t even consider how important her hands is to her as a musician. And JY being like honey ur a violist and a musician too- UR HANDS ARE PRECIOUS. This was just v touching. Again showing how JY has always considered SA as an equal despite all the shit people say about his gf. luv him :’)

-all the moments JY just stood by SA’s side and held her hand when she needed comfort. I love how he’s just there for her. His silent support was just enough. (One thing that would have been nice is if we saw SA do the same thing, I felt like the writers were almost there but just didn't go all the way which is a shame tbh)

- Their lil day trip to JY’s hometown. I like how JY was so open to SA here. When he proclaimed that he never felt “this way before” I screamed!! It was at that moment you clearly knew as a viewer that JY never really loved JK. He might have he loved the idea of her, yes. But he never truly loved her the way he loves SA. And his realization of this in that particular episode just made me so so so happy

- Handholding in the bus scene. That shit was so freaking tender bc you can tell how content JY was. He was beyond smitten- homeboy was IN LOVE AT THIS POINT

- when JY dropped SA home. I mean everything about this scene really makes ur heart soft right?? How both of them were beaming? How SA feet probably hurt bc homegirl was wearing heels the whole day and walked another 30 min just so she can spend more time with JY? How she literally ran back to him and JY just had this impression watching her like “my gf is cute af”?? How SA said something along the lines of JY having somewhere to belong to now and you can tell this had a double meaning for him bc at this point he prob considered SA as his home..I was literally mush oh my god.

-break up scene. I know, v painful- but this was a rare one in kdramaland where I actually thought it was necessary for them to split (still wish it was done earlier but alas I'll take it) It was a graceful and needed breakup. Also when JY pulled out that umbrella for her.... bish it was over for me

- SA’s recital. I MEAN HOW IN SYNC COULD THEY BE. I normally skip the musical performances whenever I watch dramas that are music related- but this show makes it so magical I simply could not. PEAAAKKK ROMANCE

- JY’s recital- when he played that last song I was a big mess cuz we all knew it was dedicated for SA :’’) (I listen to this piece all the time now and im so emo when I hear it bc like god WHEN)

- First I love you scene. JY just going for it and chasing his happiness without caring if SA might reject him. We love to see it

-Second I love you scene. YALL. YALLLLL the way JY just releases his breathe when SA said she can't be friends bc she loves him more than a friend will forever slay me. Kim min jae’s acting here was real good. I love how JY said I love you four times and just went for it. top kissing scene in a krdrama for me hehee

- dubokki date. lmao at JY with the spicy level. just plain cute

-the quick side by side peek to JY new album in the last episode. the way it showed how their relationship evolved. how he signed it as “for my love song ah” BISH I WANNA DATE A MUSICIAN TOO NOW

- that lil scene where JY wrote SA’s name as the planner bc he knows she works just as hard as the musicians and deserves the recognition. get u a boy who will vandalize a program notice for u :)

- basically all the scenes at the end of ep 16. I wish all of them were longer. I wanted to see more of them dating and happy!!! But I just love how they are both so INTO each other and you can see how happy JY is bc he finally has that person back that understood him since the beginning and it makes you feel so warm knowing they’re each other’s support system ahhhh I love their love !!

- also just all the scenes that JY looks at SA lovingly ~~ which literally happened since ep 1 I mean they are literally heart eyes emoji for each other every time :’))

- oh oh OH special shout out to ep 11 when JY just can’t stop holding SA’s hands !! the way he does it is so freaking INTIMATE like if I can only describe how I feel whenever I see compilation gifs of that episode where JY just reaches out and holds SA’s hands so steadily and tightly...it’s literally the most heartwarming thing.. idek how to explain what I’m trying to convey but I just vibe with it so much?? it’s so intimate and romantic.. Kim min jae I will die 4 u my love

Gonna jot down couple quick some thoughts for todays ep. =D

(Yeah, I wrote WAY more than I thought I would. Oops, this ep gave me a lotta thoughts somehow. lol)

Looking forward to rewatching this cause uh... >.> the uh stream I had to use today... for some reason they had described video turned on. x.x Visual surprises were spoiled. 😂 And made a busy ep kinda feel even busier, I think.

SO my instinct says this was still a jam filled ep that struggled a bit with pacing, but I’m not gonna take too many points away... we’ll see how I feel after a second viewing though. XDDD But also I mean... even if didn’t entirely WORK they still we’re trying to keep moving a plot along, so they can have a you tried star if nothing else. lol

The writer here was Dan Berlinka... he’s written 3 other eps for the series... Tunnels of Time, Fight or Flight and Long Haul.

BUT yeah, it did feel like they were trying to move plot, BUT still have some nice character moments... but felt like tried to squish in a bit TOO much to point felt a bit unnatural. BUT. Again, need a rewatch cause had constantly an extra outside voice. XDDD

Was very fun to see Kayo and Scott interact for longer than a few mins or without the other boys around. If I recall right, Kayo is actually meant to be around Virgil’s age, so that does kinda explain why there’s a bit more teasing happening here from Scott (and Virgil having a fair laugh at the end.) She’s usually the one teasing with Gordon and Alan... and course her and John are pretty all the serious when interacting. lol SO yeah. There’s a bit more of a even playing field I imagine here... much like Scott and Virgil. Very interesting~

And man... Scott at the start... That is just so... Scott. (AND SUCH AN ARIES, GOOD LORD.) I think I got it pretty right... we’re kinda seeing some of that same kinda mess of feelings we saw in a lot of S1!Scott show up again here. He’s frustrated and anxious, and having trouble dealing with those feelings. And GOSH... most often Brains does defer to Scott, but nice to see him kinda show he really is older than Scott here. (I think it’s often forgotten... Brains built the TV-21... when Scott called himself ‘just a kid’ when it met it’s end. Even if Scott considered that 12-15ish... Brains is likely at the very, VERY LEAST 5 years older than Scott... but I’d honestly suspect 10-15 years even.)

Seeing him just deflate under Brains there guiding him off.

I get the feeling Scott does realize there he’s not acting very rational. =(a

But man. Scott. Buddy. “I can’t handle waiting around, not able to do anything...” I feel ya. :( I don’t handle that well either. 😂

(Poor Scott though... he looks like he needs a hug. lol Scott you need some time with Virgil, clearly.)

Too bad don’t get to see who was co-piloting. lol

And DAMMIT. I was excited when they said ‘Medical Bay’ ...but it was just inside the module. 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 I guess was where the writer was hoping it was a thing, but budget didn’t allow for another TB2 interior design at this point. lolol SIGH. XD But did get a bit of Virgil medicing! HOHO. +o+

Penelope was a bit odd briefly... maybe all those mystery dinner parties have gotten to her. 😂 But second Higgins appears, she snaps to her usual self so. lol

...Poor Peter Davison. He... didn’t have a whole lot of lines did he? lol Proving there was a lot they wanted to get to in this ep and it didn’t work as maybe they’d hoped.

ALSO there was that call back to Avalanche. ‘I’ve been through this before... we won’t get near it.’ LOLOLOLOL

BUT ALSO. LIKE. Virgil, were you really in danger? If a SPIDER can puncture your suit... why are you wearing it into SPACE??? 😂 (Shoulda had it on his shoulder or something. lol)

AND G’OL VIRGIL showing up RIGHT when he’s needed. XDDD

And... I. Really love Scott’s first thought after omg butterflies is... I have to tell Virgil. 🤣 And then them LAUGHING together like that. OMG. 😭 THEY ARE SUCH BEST FRIENDS. 😭😭😭😭😭 Kayo’s gonna make them regret it so much, isn’t she?

...Yeah, the pacing was weird, but certainly some enjoyable bits in here. XDa

Note: just something i wrote after watching one of his lives that got me emotional lololol

You're sitting on your couch, in your living room. Watching a t.v show in the dark, In your PJ's. A pint of ice cream in your hands. *ding* your phone screen lights up. You pick it up and read the notification *찬이 의 "방"🐺Ep. 13 has started* You look at the time knowing it was late, but not exactly how late *11:30 p.m* You groaned wondering why he was up so late. So you texted him [To Chris 🐨] |why are you up so late? I see you on VLIVE| [From Chris🐨] |I could ask you the same thing. I couldn't sleep :( swing by?| [To Chris🐨] |I couldn't sleep either. I'm marathoning. But sure. Coffee and chicken?| [From Chris🐨] |Tea actually, but Yes Please 😁| [To Chris🐨] |omw be there soon| You put on some pants and one of his hoodies he left a long time ago from when they all came and cheered you up one night after a break up. He never asked for it back, despite seeing you wear it multiple times. You drove over to the JYP building and walked into the studio floor. Asking what room he was in. The guard told you and you thank him and gave him coffee and a piece of chicken and he smiled at you and said that you're too nice for the world. You knocked on the door and Chan turned and said "AH STAYS, LOOK WHOS HERE!!" you were well liked by them. Sure there were a fair amount of the sasaengs and haters. Jealous of your friendship with Chan and the boys. But. To be fair. You'd known Chan for years. The rest of the members you met only because of him. But everyone welcomed you, knowing how sweet you were. Taking the best photos of the boys. Interacting. Taking care of the members constantly. And most important to STAYS, making sure Chan and them got enough rest. So you walked in and waved. Shyly sitting down "Ah you're still going? I can come back later. I don't wanna interrupt your guys time with him" Comments flooding in "NO STAY WITH US" "AYYE SHES BACK. STAY!!!" "YOU'RE NOT INTERRUPTING. WE LOVE YOU MORE THAN WE LOVE HIM" "SHARE THE CHICKEN AND YOU CAN STAY" He looked at you "STAY have spoken. You're stuck here" So you stayed. Reading comments to him, both of you responding. Listening to music. Talking about the past. Letting STAYS know about some embarrassing moments from his childhood "guys one time he got scared because a goose was chasing him around a pond for his sandwich" You left for a brief moment to go get more coffee, because you needed a refill and you wanted to give him time with fans alone. He truly adored the personal time with them. You came back and he was ending his Live so you waited out the door. "ah she's not back yet. I'll tell her you said good bye. Thank you STAY for spending time with me. Bye STAY. Bye bye baby stays haha" and he smiled and turned off the camera. You walked in. "Ahh you're back.” "I think you're just running off pure adrenaline at this point Chris" "you're probably right" he laughed "you need to sleep" "I know... But it's hard. I think too much at night. You know me"he said, playing with the lid of his coffee smiling softly. You just sighed. And you talked about what he was producing. He showed you some songs him and Changbin wrote for the next surprise 3RACHA mixtape. You always admired their work. The messages in their songs. The issues in the world. Mental illness. Loneliness. Things other idols were too scared to talk about or not allowed to. He talked to you about how he wants to have his own studio. Just his. To work in. To design and decorate. How he can't wait to do a world tour. Go everywhere to meet STAY. In person face to face. You talked about your dreams. Your schooling. How you wanted to travel. Help others around the world. Learn different languages and cultures. You talked about intimate things. Like the act of sex. Not in a sexual context. But the action of being vulnerable. Naked. Not just physically. But emotionally and mentally. You talked about books. Music. Old memories. You guys laughed together. You loved seeing him like this. So happy. His eyes scrunching up and his mouth wide open, giggles falling out. He told you about how he felt lonely at night. When it was dark, in the room he shared with Binnie. Staring at the ceiling in the silence. While everyone else throughout the dorms was asleep. How he knew he had you, and STAY and the members. But he can't help but feel alone in those moments. How Sometimes he wishes there was someone he could hold and love. And you felt sorry for him. And you related. It was hard for you too. Living practically alone. Your roommate always out with her other friends, or boyfriend. Sleeping over at his apartment. Sometimes for days. You felt lonely in those at night too. You hadn't been in a relationship for maybe almost 2 years. Not even really dating. Maybe a date or two. But nothing went anywhere. And as for Chan, you knew after he joined JYP that he couldn’t. He was too busy. You looked up after spacing out. He was crying. His head held down. Tears silently and slowly falling. You got off your chair and kneeled down in front of him. "Hey hey don't cry Channie" "why do I feel this way? I don't understand. Why?" He whispered "it's ok. It's okay to feel this way" you took his face in your hands "Look at me Chris" And he looked up to meet your eyes "I hate this feeling. Feeling empty. Especially when I have so much to be thankful for. Isn't that shallow of me?" he looked angry at himself "Chan stop. Don't say that. You're one of the most hardworking caring people I know. This feeling will go away soon. And I will help you through it. I promise. No matter what or when. You're not shallow. It's ok to feel empty and lonely. Especially being an idol. It makes things allot harder. But I know you can do this. You won’t feel like this forever" you reassured. "Now stand up" You both stood up. He looked at you. Tears streaming out faster from his eyes. And you took him into your arms. Your heart breaking at his sobs. His repeating of the words "I don't understand. I don't wants to feel this way" he held onto you tight. Sobbing into your shoulder. You stroked the back of his head. Tears streaming down your own face "I will always be here for you. No matter what. No matter when. You're my best friend. And I'd do anything for you. I love you" you choked out "I love you too" he whispered And you stood there holding each other until god knows when and you guys went back to his dorm. The boys sound asleep. You led him to his room. Made sure he fell asleep and you slept on the couch. Too tired to drive home. Besides, you wanted to be there for him in case he still couldn’t sleep. LOLOLOL THIS A LOT LONGER THAN I THOUGHT AND TOOK A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT DIRECTION THAN I INTENDED SORRY. I'M HURTING. YOU'RE HURTING. LOLOL OOPS

Zen: Light element- I’m kinda gonna base this on his outfit for when he played Zorro. He’d be kind of mysterious but over-dramatic- he’d introduce himself as an aspiring actor, flirt with Danchou for a bit and be all ‘hehe obviously the god’s regret making me this handsome’. He has a rapier on his side and Vyrn roasts him literally every second like ‘yo dodo bird do you even fight bro????’ and Zen gets SO offended. His fate episode has him basically chatting your ear off and you’re like ‘why is he even in my crew-he’s as chaotic as Aoidos???’ But as you level him up he is the sweetest thing ever and his v-day+ white day cutscenes would be the absolute cutest things ever!!! He’d be so suave you’d have a heart attack!!

Rarity: I’d go off on a limb here and say maybe r or Sr, since he’s the “easy” route, he’d prolly be one of the easiest to get. I’d also say he’d be a fan favorite real quick, so he gets an sr summer skin and sr event character, maybe an outfit or two as well.

Skills: Based on his personality, I think he’d be one that can charm enemies with a cheesy skill name like ‘dazzling skin’ or ‘blinding smile’. Also based on his rather hot-headed personality, he’d prolly be someone with ‘hostility-up’. I’d even say when you get him to level 45 and earn his last skill, he’d have a skill that heals or takes hits for you, the MC.

Weapon: Rapier, as said before. I think he’d call it ‘Zorro’ or something else that’s entirely stupid. When you summon his weapon, it’d be called ‘radiant rapier’.

Yoosung- Wind element. He’s an absolute cutie and would prolly be a hermit in the forest chatting it up with his animal buddies and you gotta drag his butt outside while he screams about the sun. His whole character arc is him getting utterly ROASTED by Vyrn and literally everyone because of how much of a NEET he is. Lyria and Danchou try to reintegrate him into society and trust people more. He starts off as ‘happy’ in his fate episode, gets melancholic in his skill episode, then becomes truly happy in a cross episode with another character.

Rarity: Sr. Unfortunately he’s not as popular as most, so he probably gets an event unit at most besides his original. I think he’d eventually be recognized as being a great character and may get a summon stone though.

Skills: I think he’d be a healer/buffer to the crew. So he’d be healing with a skill called “Superman Yoosung to the rescue!!” and then a buff for wind characters like “NERF THIS WIND LOLOL!!!” And then his last skill will be a really sentimental one like “I’ve become stronger now” and it places a defense shield on him and ally.

Weapon: Staff. He’s a healer, but his sprite has like a bird and deer somewhere. If you were to summon him, it’d be called “Staff of Life”.

Jaehee- Is a tired woman who you bump into because she’s busy trying to deal with Jumin’s shit. She apologizes quickly and Lyria is like “OMG BUT WE NEED TO HELP HER!!!!’ So her whole character arc is you helping her she should achieve her dreams and then suddenly she’s like ‘yeah LEMME QUIT AND START A CAFE!!!’ She becomes great friends with Sandalphon becuase they both bleed coffee and are done with everyone, but have a soft spot for the captain, and have massive crushes on their white haired besties (i mean whaaaaat).

Rarity: Sr. She gets an original, but a second sr version where she has finally achieved her dream. It’s a really cute closure to her character, and Jumin doesn’t act so OOC to fill a quota lol.

Skills: She’d be debuffer/ buffer extraordinaire. Cooldown times shorten, atk goes up, and she has a stackable skill ‘The faster you finish, the faster you can leave!!’ in which her hostility and atk goes up, her def goes down, and she HITS HARD!!!

Weapon: stack of papers Idk tbh, maybe a tome, but it’s referred to as a staff (call it a gd book jfc Cygames lol). She’d probably earth element and WILL BREAK THE EARTH IN HALF!!!!

Jumin- The rich, stoic prince of a kingdom you end up meeting on accident. He only joins you because you found Elizabeth the 3rd and he was very grateful. So imagine Percival on steroids and that’s Jumin as a GBF character. He’s quick to call bullshit, but every time Vyrn or Zen roasts him it flies over his head/he roasts them back a thousand times harder. His arc is him learning to trust his FEEELINSS!! Also becomes close with Dante and they both philosophically discuss cats like they’re their gods. His V-day and White Day cutscenes will be the EXACT SAME AS SIEGFRIED!! HE’S AWFUL ON V DAY BUT ON WHITE DAY HE’LL BE COMPLIMENTING YOU AND BEING HAWT BUT THEN HE’S LIKE ‘I RESPECT YOU’. DUMB IDIOT STILL DOESN’T KNOW FEELINGS!!

Rarity: SSR. He’s quickly become a fan favorite and has two ssr versions, his original and maybe a halloween/ christmas version, and then an anniversary skin where he’s wearing a dashing tux and it will say on the description, ‘Can you keep up with me’ or something safdsjgnfljsnjkn I’m dying CYGAMES MM COLLAB WHENST????

Skills: He’s a dark debuffer/ defensive character. He can hit hard but he is more focused on longer battles where survivability is more necessary than him nuking. He’d have a def down for enemies and it’s called ‘I get checks’ and a def up for all allies called ‘Ahh- to be with Elizabeth the 3rd again’

Weapon: A beautiful sword/ lance that is very pristine and glorious. It’s gonna have a diamond on it somewhere and it’s gonna be a reference to how his father gave him that pen.

Also!!! He gets a cross-fate episode with Zen where they both roast each other before actually talking out their feelings and working it out. I can also imagine an episode where he delves more into his distrust of women and why he focuses on his Elizabeth so much.

707- He’s so god damn chaotic you wonder WHY THE HELL IS HE EVEN ALLOWED??? Okay so you end up meeting him when Rackam is trying to fix the Grandcypher and homeboy shows up, suggests some ideas and him and Rackam go nutso over ships (this version of cars). He has a lot of inside jokes and is very memeable for a GBF character, becoming a notorious part of the April Fools event. His fate episodes start off happy before becoming depressing and you’re like wow why don’t you just run me over with a boat huh???

Rarity: SSR. Super popular and has like…five variants lol. I say he’d be a fire nuker all the time except for one ssr variant, in which it’s a dark version where it was a ‘what if he fell into despair?1!!!!???’ Super depressing story holy cow. Weapon: I imagine him using a fire gun. Like imagine a better Rackam. It’d be called something like, “hacker’s resolve”.

Skills: Fire nuker. He’s horrible for long distance fights, but he focuses a lot on enmity, hype, and hostility up fights where he needs to hit hard and fast. For sure has a skill called, ‘I’m in’, and “Defender of Justice-707!!’ and after you complete the heart-wrenching skill ep. he gets his final skill called, “god forgive me”. It’s so depressing T-T

Also!! Has a cross-fate with both Yoosung and Unknown where they focus on family and growing past their own background.

Unknown- A very scary dude when you first meet him, who tries to kill you on sight. Lyria…does something and he’s like, ‘I need to get revenge so I’ll stick with you if you let me kill people’. His episodes start off VERY dark and disturbing, but gradually get happier as he becomes more acquainted with the MC. I’d say he’s basically like Azazel where he’s so tsundere about everything and you’re ‘okay brooooo’. His valentines day cutscenes would be absolutely hilarious as he’s like ‘ew why would I take anything you make’ to ‘i dreamt of eating your chocolate again’. His white day scenes would be SOOOOOO worth it tho, he gets you a bouquet of flowers with special meaning and is blushing and tells you to take it before he freaks out.

Rarity: Originally a water sr, but then got a wind SSR version that represents him growing and becoming ‘Saeran’ again. It’s a super amazing growth that makes everyone weep when they!! see!! the!! baby!! smile!! He prolly has a Halloween version where he dresses as the phantom again.

Weapon: Firearms. Tons of guns and explosions.

Skills: He’s an attacker/debuffer. He can hit hard like his brother but can ACTUALLY TAKE A HIT AND NOT DIE!!! I can imagine he’d have a self heal skill called ‘mint eye elixir’ where he drinks a potion and heals, but if you do it too much he eventually can be knocked out or raise his atk a lot but get killed by getting slapped too hard. He’d have tons of debuffs where he blinds and confuses foes, and his last skill would be called ‘unraveled chains’ where he boosts his atk and def. His SSR version would be a lot different and more focused on buffing everyone up, and he’s so good at it. They’re mostly related to flowers and how he’s grown and changed as a person, and how he finally reached happiness.

V- He is a blind wizard. That’s it. That’s literally how you meet him you go ‘lol there’s no such thing as a-’ and V saves your ass from getting run over by a cart or something. You beg him to join and he’s like ‘well of course I’ll help you wonderful children!!!’ His v-day and white day scenes are absolutely heartbreaking yet so emotional because he talks about his past with Rika yet says how he can finally ‘see’ the light since joining you. His story IS SAD!! SAD!! SAD BOI HOURS AT ALL TIMES!!! A BLIND MAN IS CRYING OVER HOW HIS SINS WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO WASHED AWAY AND HE SHOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN ABLE TO GET A SECOND CHANCE AND!!! SO SAD!!

Rarity: Water SSR plus a dark sr from an event where he’s in his mint eye clothes. Gets a Halloween skin where he’s dressed as a detective trying to find his happiness and will to live.

Skills: Self-sacrificing skills that buff everyone up. It’s so sad because he’s so good at buffing everyone and making everyone a tank but you just… dude you wanna talk about it?? Do you want a healer omg man, I’m so sorry.

Weapon: Blind wizard. He uses a staff, which doubles as his walking staff.

I hear they’re known to be [ self-sufficient & tender ] and [ cloistered & inattentive ]. if asked, they would say their aesthetic would be [ smiles that don’t meet eyes, oversized sweaters on hot days, the scent of cinnamon sugar ].

marley grew up in denver, colorado (and surrounding cities), with an older brother and two parents who weren’t... exactly in love or anything, but they stayed together for their kids. it wasn’t a toxic environment— they weren’t on bad terms, and there was more than enough money to go around —but any eyes that lingered longer than a fleeting moment could easily see through the thinly veiled ‘marriage’ they shared.

he grew up without many hiccups. life was easy. he finished up high school relatively easily, but that’s not to say he was at the top of the class or anything. his ‘c’ average was just enough to scrape by, though it wasn’t impressive by any means. from an early age marley fell into the habit of letting his hobbies take precedence over most things, school included.

he’s always been a music junkie tbh. his parents were never really too keen on this interest (whose would be honestly nsncsf) but nonetheless, they supported him on it. for the most part. so long as he made it through school, they didn’t complain much.

he completely threw himself into it once he graduated, and for the past four years or so it’s all he’s done. he lives and breathes music, so much so that it gets a bit unhealthy at times. regardless, there’s no way that he’ll ever stop. he’s put out his fair share of songs/eps and managed to gather a small following (prob has like 20k insta followers but ya boi’s engagment is low so do w that what u will).

𝓅𝓇𝑒𝓈𝑒𝓃𝓉

things got a little hectic back home; his parents finally separated, and marley wasn’t in the best headspace when news got back to him. he was in the middle of working on an album, and oh boy did it fuck with him. he really secluded himself then, way more than usual, and it took a couple weeks for him to find solid footing.

he kind of went a lil mad for a bit, which like... was completely unnecessary because he’d known for a long time that his parents weren’t actually into each other. it was just that it became more real, and he didn’t wanna deal with it.

long story short, he just wanted to get away for a while so he packed most of his things up and wound up relocating to crownsville. he hasn’t been here very long, but the change of scenery was definitely refreshing.

he doesn’t exactly have a job— he volunteers at the animal shelter just to get out of his own head every so often, but that’s about all the work he does outside of home. he doesn’t make much of anything off his music, but he doesn’t really need to since he’s sitting on a trust fund (that’s slowly trickling away but oh well).

𝓅𝑒𝓇𝓈𝑜𝓃𝒶𝓁𝒾𝓉𝓎

above all else, marley is an introvert. he values time spent on his own, though he tends to get lonely rather easily. he's not the type to reach out first— he'll let himself go stir-crazy until somebody invites him out. maybe his aspirations don't exactly help in this aspect. after all, a majority of his time is taken up by his music, which keeps him practically stitched to his laptop for hours on end. he's always mixing this or that. writing. obsessing over the smallest details that hinder a track's perfection.

when he's not holed up in his apartment, nearly everything feels like a breath of fresh air to him. he thrives while out with friends. he's extremely sociable, and kind to anybody he comes across. one good day of interaction is truly all he needs to rise out of whatever slump he may be in, but once he's on his own again the splendor begins to fade. after a few days he's back where he started, submerged fully into his cycle of work and isolation.

it isn’t irregular for marley to emerge from the depths of his home once or twice a week, usually only for a quick grocery run, or to head down to the animal shelter to lend a hand. he’s never been particularly good at tending to his needs, but when he’s going through the creative process this inability to properly care for himself hits hard, and it truly shows once he snaps back out of it. he’s a mess of dark circles and unkempt hair, stubble that’s slowly but surely taking over the whole of his jaw. his ribs start to show, though his baggy t-shirts and sweaters hide them well enough. he doesn’t do it on purpose— hates the way he looks when he gets this way, actually. but it happens all too often, and he just doesn’t have enough drive to change anything most of the time.

his sense of humor isn't misaligned compared to that of younger generations. self-deprecation is his go to in most situations. his tone may come across lighthearted, but there's almost always a sense of conviction lying underneath. he's well aware of his insecurities, his flaws. each flippant note that slips through only lays them out before the entire room, but his nonchalance is more than enough to mask any ill feelings.

omg so i got this ask like 2 weeks ago or something, and this took hours of intense listening and deep thought and introspection, and then i went away to sydney for like 4 days and then i forgot about it. anyway, it pained me deeply to have to leave a couple out but here we go (in no real particular order… i think)

「Great Days」 - Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable (OP 3)

*pointing to the sky* LET THE VOICE OF LOVE TAKE YOU HIGHER~

i love this OP so much. like, sooooo so much. all jojo OP’s are incredibly high quality affairs, but the first time i heard great days i literally felt like my life was changing, like i was having some kind of religious experience. it was just that good. it’s so upbeat, it radiates warmth and optimism, and it makes me feel so good to listen to, and that combined with the stylish and evocative visuals makes this hands down my favourite jojo OP, and one of my favourite anime OP’s of all time.

ambiguous - Kill la Kill (OP 2)

if i absolutely had to pick a favourite anime, id probably say kill la kill. it’s just so special to me. it’s so cool and wild and silly and over the top and so much fun. watching it each week is still to this day the most fun i’ve ever had watching an anime, and this OP is just such a banger. that part with ryuko and satsuki fighting, sending hundreds of one-star students flying everywhere, and eventually creating the logo out of debris and blood from their fight is one of the coolest title drops ive ever seen in an anime OP. this OP got me hyped up every time. still does.

Peace Sign - My Hero Academia (OP 2)

ohhWOAHH OHHohh, ohh OHH Ohh ohh, ohh OHH Ohhohh oohhhhh…oh my god i love this song. this song manages to encapsulate the tone, feel, and spirit of the series i love so much so perfectly, it actually blows me away. i really like the visuals too, theyre quite simple but effective, but the song is what really stands out to me here imo. OP’s will come and go as the series continues but in my heart Peace Sign will forever be THE theme of My Hero Academia. i dont have much else to say about it. this song fucking rules.

LAY YOUR HANDS ON ME - Kiznaiver

this anime ended up being only Okay in the end, tbh, tho i definitely enjoyed it. id give it like maybe a 7/10 overall. but holy moly, that OP tho!! this song is AMAZING and idk how to even describe all the feelings it stirs within me, and combined with the vibrant, kaleidoscopic visuals, this OP is simply breathtaking imo. 7/10 anime, 11/10 OP.

Hyadain no Kakakata Kataomoi/Joujou Yuujou - Nichijou

ok im cheating by including both nichijou OP’s in the one slot but u know what i DONT EVEN GIVE A CARE. nichijou is honestly the best anime ever made and it deserves it. i couldnt possibly separate its two OP’s, they’re a package deal tbh and they’re both the toppest of top tier. nichijou is love, nichijou is life.

EVERYBODY, PUT YOUR HANDS UP, SAA FLYIN’, TSUBASA NI NAREholy hell this song is a bop. a show this sad had no business bopping this hard in the OP and yet it does and its fantastic. enough said, really.

Soundscape - Hibike! Euphonium (2nd season)

who expected such a down-to-earth drama abt a high school concert band would have such an absolute banger of an OP?? the first season of eupho was one of my favourite animes of 2015, so to have the highly anticipated 2nd season a year later kick off with such a fun, high energy OP just got me so dang excited!! also worth mentioning is at the beginning of the season, the OP is presented mostly in black and white, but after they win the competition and get to move onto nationals at the end of ep 5, it gets changed in the next episode onward to be completely in full, vibrant, beautiful kyoani colour, and it just made me so !!!!… ya. good stuff.

99 - Mob Psycho 100

no jokes this might actually be the best OP ever made tbh. it’s a 100% fucking masterpiece in every way. going into detail abt everything that makes this one so good would make this post like 3 times longer than it already is. its JUST THAT GOOD.
