For me, it’s an emotional book that one can connect with. The plot of the story is well developed. I liked how the author sequenced the events. The narration of the story is crisp and lucid. Themes like loss, love, friendship is used by the author. I loved how the author portrayed all the emotions. The mother-daughter bond, the sisters bond shown by the author is something I loved. @ballijaswal is becoming a new favorite author. #theunlikelyadventuresoftheshergillsisters is the second book I’ve read of hers this year and just like the first (#theeroticstoriesofpunjabiwidows ), I was laughing and crying and loving the hell out of this story. This book is the story of three sisters who embark on a pilgrimage their mother requested they do before she died. None of them really want to go, but they do it for her.
