Bnha fma AU ideas because I’ve lost control of my life

Bakugou as Ed -He doesn’t lose his limbs because of a dead mother in this AU. Instead, lost it in some sort of failed attempt to help him get ahead in being world’s greatest alchemist? Specializes in explosion alchemy, and his automail probably has some sort of flame design because it’s Bakugou. Feels heavy guilt about losing Kiri’s body because it was supposed to be HIS mistake, dammit. Outwardly boasts when people comment on his ability to transmute without a circle (of COURSE he can do that, he’s one of the best alchemists out there) but it actually stings because it’s a constant reminder of his fuckup. It’s rare for someone to get close enough to see that side of him, though. Flies into a rage if you call him “Kacchan,” which everyone does with glee despite the risk of death by explosion. Guess his title might be something different from Fullmetal Alchemist? Maybe the Blasting Alchemist or something

Kirishima as Al -Doesn’t have the sibling relationship with Bakugou like Al and Ed did. Instead, he’s a close childhood friend who, upon hearing about Bakugou’s plans for some big transmutation, decided to help him because they’re bros. His armor also got decked out in “manly” designs after the incident. Main Bakugou Wrangler™. Struggles with some serious feelings of inadequacy in the face of so many talented alchemists out there. Specializes in some sort of protective alchemy (maybe like creating shelters and barriers) and uses his newfound armor-bound state to act as a shield to those he cares about. Unfortunately, he ties a lot of his self-worth to his ability to protect people, so whenever he’s not able to do so, it’s reeeeally rough.

Deku as Ling -World’s most insecure Ling. Instead of passing out from hunger he just. Breaks his bones (maybe from some sort of rare Xingian martial arts technique that heightens physical prowess at the expense of your limbs? Idk but the boy needs to take better care of himself). Still has heavy clashes with Bakugou in the beginning but they eventually have to work together and become close allies. They meet around the same time that Ed and Ling do in the series. Deku wants to prove his worth to his father (still the king of Xing here and still never actually shows up in the story in person) despite his status as a non-alchehestrist by finding the secret to immortality.

Uraraka and Iida as Deku’s bodyguards -Uraraka kicks all the asses, Iida is trying his best to keep the other two out of trouble, and both are super loyal to Deku. They cool

Todoroki as Greed -DADDY/FAMILY ISSUES AHOY. Specialty is fire and ice alchemy (of course), making him a force to be reckoned with due to the two areas of focus balancing each other out and making up for a lot of potential weaknesses – he doesn’t have a problem with rain, for example, cause he can just freeze and weaponize that shit. When he first starts sharing a body with Deku, he acts kinda cold and apathetic and doesn’t really use his alchemy at all. He WANTS to have friends and free himself from his “family” and all that good stuff, but he doesn’t know how to go about doing this so he adopts the uncaring image as a defense mechanism. Deku eventually gives him a pep talk tho and convinces him that he’s his own person (homunculus) regardless of who created him and what his original purpose was, and that he can use his own abilities to fight against his Father and fellow homunculi. He and Deku become really tight and able to switch back and forth with surprising ease.

Endeavor as Bradley -The world’s biggest asshole who STILL has highly favorable public opinion of him and runs the whole damn country. Still abusive af to Todoroki

All Might as Hughes? -He’s just everyone’s dad. Instead of dying from the encounter with the homunculi he gets his famous injury.

Inko as Gracia Hughes? -Because I can.

Eraserhead as Hawkeye -Responsible Adult Figure and master of tough love. Along with Kiri, one of the only ones who can get Bakugou to reign his shit in for two seconds. Renowned for his accurate and precise methods when taking down his opponents that minimize collateral damage. He specializes in nullifying an opponent’s ability to use their alchemy solely through his wits and sharp eye. Rumors say that as soon as he turns that keen eye of his on you, your alchemy is as good as gone. He’s not actually an alchemist himself, which contributes to Bakugou gradually learning to overcome his prejudices about non-alchemists.

Present Mic as Mustang? -A flashy and charismatic colonel who acts as the face of his and Aizawa’s rebellious effort to take down Endeavor.

All for One as Father -Big bad guy who’s pulling the strings behind the scenes, etc. etc.

Shigaraki as Pride -One of the head honchos among the homunculi. All for One’s second in command of sorts.

Recovery Girl as Pinako -Will lend her healing expertise but is DONE WITH UR SHIT

Stain as Scar -Kinda Scar but without the redemption arc and possibly the tragic backstory. He’s got the self-righteous serial killer thing down tho, including the willingness to include children as targets. Thinks that State Alchemists are a corruption of the ideal of what an alchemist should be.

Bakugou’s parents as Izumi and Sig -Mitsuki is ready to KICK UR ASS and whip this loud, spiky, explosive boy into shape while Masaru tries to be the calming voice of reason. It’s hard. Not sure if I want these two to actually be Bakugou’s parents or not, but they’re def parental figures at least

Aoyama as Armstrong -Basically he’s just a really showy and sparkly guy who sometimes inexplicably shows up and lends a hand

Kurogiri as Kimblee? -Ruthless but classy af

Rest of Bakusquad roughly as Winry? -Just a group of supportive childhood friends who are badasses in their own right. Often help out around Recovery Girl’s small-town clinic.

Himiko as Lust -It’s Himiko. What else can I say

Dabi as Envy -Kinda goes off of the “Dabi is a Todoroki son” theory. Often seen hanging out around Himiko. If you ever come across that duo, RUN

Noumu as Sloth -Big ol’ physical powerhouse that doesn’t really think for itself.

Idk, I might post more of this in the future, but who knows
