Both Phupha and Tian are so... shy with each other. And, honestly, it's fantastic.

Because they're not truly shy. They're teasing and they're affectionate and they're gentle and they're sarcastic and they're awkward and they're loving...

But they're shy in their own ways.

Phupha has trouble putting softness into direct words. Yes, he's blunt and he's straightforward about almost everything else. But he's not used to being soft, he's not used to expressing his emotions. He's used to his friends who understand him without that, who know what he's doing without him having to say it.

Tian has more trouble being direct and straightforward. He has so many secrets that he's keeping, whether directly or because of the other secrets he feels he has to keep. He knows he wants to make a move but he wants more from Phupha before he opens up. He wants that confirmation, he wants to know he isn't imagining things.

They're both worried about rejection. They're both worried about misreading the situation. And that makes them shy about this one thing. And it's such an honest showing of their characters.

Phupha doesn't want to make Tian uncomfortable. He doesn't want to pressure him to stay out of obligation. His job is to take care of the teacher and he needs Tian to rely on him. If he expresses his love and Tian doesn't return those feelings... what happens next?

Tian worries about where the love is coming from, he worries that he's never felt like this before. He wonders if Phupha's attention is from his obligations or if it's from the love he wants to see. And he worries if he expresses his love and Phupha doesn't return those feelings... what happens next?

They're both so worried about the other, they're worried about what happens to a friendship if love isn't returned even though it obviously is thank you very much.

honestly, kit? i’m feeling terrible aksjakjssk like. i got soooo used to having a reason to wake up every monday lmao it’s been almost thirteen weeks like this. thirteen weeks!!! it feels like the trailer came out just yesterday! how is it ending tomorrow? time isn’t real!

and god i love our chaotic fandom. every monday is a whole circus here and we’re the little clowns going around make each other laugh to cope with the horrors of the plot 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

being here week by week with these people has been one of the best fandom experiences i’ve ever had and i’ll never forget it. not one moment of it.

plus saying goodbye to maxtul, maybe a permanent goodbye, isn’t easy. they’re my emotional support parents and having them around did make everything better. but we’re so incredibly lucky to have manner of death, so incredibly lucky they gave us this amazing gift.

i wish maxtul all the best, whatever they decide to do from now on, i wholeheartedly support them. even though i’m going to miss them every single day forever aksjaksj

it won’t be easy but i’ll keep this whole experience inside my heart so i can always go back and reminisce when i miss it.

On the popculture side definitely Charmed. Both the original and the reboot. I’ve loved the original for a long time and the reboot is also nice. I mean, like the original it has issues but I don’t expect anything else from a CW show tbqh lol

Also I am watching a bunch of political commentators on Youtube atm. Tbf, I mainly love it when some of them rip certain r*ght w*ngers apart. (censored bc I don’t need them in my ask)

Scotland, New Zealand, and not to be a cliché but definitely East Asia. Mainly Japan but I would also love to visit China or South Korea.

1. Favorite character  I am actually surprised by this because I have spent so much angry posts defending Phupha but I think it must be Tian. Watching him grow from his mistakes, watching his resilience, his courage and his journey to self-worth has been one of the most cathartic thing for me in a long time. 

11. Favorite ✨phutian staring at eo✨ scene It used to be the staring after their date in episode 5 but I just had this new-found appreciation for the staring which happens on the very next day? Phupha and the rangers join the school for the kite-making session and Tian spots them, only greets Phupha excitedly and fjioewf Just a few hours ago they were in front of Tian’s door, trying to say good-night, finally having fully acknowledged their feelings to themselves and it’s on the back of their mind so it’s awkward but they are so happy to see each other but then Phupha gets bashful and Tian realizes how smitten he must look, how only greeting Phupha must look but still he holds Phupha’s stare and. Loads of keysmashing here, ahhh I love this scene so much.  12.Favorite Phutian moment (Or the moment that made you SCREAM saying they invented love) It is impossible to choose so I’ll just pick the current phutian moment which has been living in my mind rent-free; The shaving-scene (no one is surprised). Because they apologized to each other and recognized the hurt they caused, because Tian called Phupha on his dramatic self and Phupha says he knows he has no right to be. Because each flick of the razor is a bit forceful, a bit brusque but Phupha never flinches. And then there’s Phupha and Tian’s second, most used love line after ‘my duty/your duty is to take care of you/me’ which is just one of them saying thank you. It’s the staring and the longing and the caressing and so much love (and they were horny).  17.Phupha has the picture he took of Tian as his wallpaper. Yes or No? 🤡 Yes. It’s his wall-paper and he never changed it, even after all this time because he is an idiot who lives for pain. Also, he regrets not taking more pictures of Tian but if he can only have one, he’s glad it’s this one because he’s looking at Tian taking in the hills, happy and calm.
