wait why exactly did Axl try to punch David????????
Okay I’m going off of memory from an article I read a few months back
So GNR was filming the music video for It’s so easy. In that video Erin Everly (who was his girlfriend at the time) is in that video in I think like leather BDSM gear or something, well David was on that set with Slash’s mom because they dated and remained friends or something after they broke it off. So the music video is filmed at a club it was the cat something I think, maybe the cat scratch? Which was basically GNRs stomping grounds, and basically Bowie starting flirting with Erin and Axl got wind of it and do he like chased David and threatened to kill. But it’s unconfirmed if punches actually flew
Edit: he chased him around calling him tin man because at the time he was in the band tin machine and threatening to kill him
Edit 2: The club was called the Cathouse

I had a DREAM about DAVID BOWIE last night for the first time EVER
Ok so for some reason I was the same age I am now but I was back at school? TRIGGERING anyways so David was there (think Tin Machine era) and he was shooting a MUSIC VIDEO and he needed backing dancers, and I WAS SELECTED as one of the LEAD BACKING DANCERS that doesn't make sense but it does? So then his choreographer taught us the dance and I was taught my bit and I got all red bc I had to GR1ND ON HIM AAND I HAND TO RUN MY HAND DOWN HIS LEG?!?!?!?!!?!?!? So it comes to the actual **doing the dance for the camera** and he makes DIRECT EYE CONTACT and says
"Come on sweetheart, don't be shy..."
AND THATS HOW I KNEW FOR SURE IT WAS A DREAM BC I WOULD HAVE UNAL1VED ON THE SPOT.
Anyways basically he was so flirtatious that I didn't care how h⁰rñy the situation made me and I just did it.
Pretty sure we fucked after that but I woke up :/

Welcome! Here’s how it’s gonna work:
First, we’ll go through each David Bowie studio album from his 1967 debut all the way up to Blackstar (including the Tin Machine albums) and determine which is the best song on each album. Then, we’ll take each of those songs and pit them against each other until we find the ultimate Number One Song. Then we’ll also find the ultimate Number One Song from all his songs on movie soundtracks and otherwise non-album songs and pit all of those against each other until we find the REAL ultimate Number One Song. It’ll be a lot of fun. It’ll also take forever.
Polls start on Friday, September 22nd, and will each last for a week!
All past, present, and future brackets will be shown under the cut!
