So it might be odd to make a seperation AU and like draw it before I have even gotten really anything out for the first au itself but lmao I don't control this car we're just along for the ride. Some of the below is spoilers for my au 'canon' i guess, kinda?

Shadow, Kirby, and Carter are the only ones TRULY bad off in this i think, Shitty family business that gets violent, a beaten-into-shape foot soldier who still wants nothing more than to be a hero, and an alien lab rat to a villainous alien.

Not to say the others are doing Well either, Big Mama and Kitsune love their daughters in their own ways, but power is still prized above all for both women. Slash had a rougher start but hes a part of an mutant rights group that's willing to work dirty. he pretends to not like the silly name they've picked up around town. :)

Splinters the worst off tho, I didnt draw her but like she is Vastly worse off in a separated au.

I'm so interested in specifically what Big Mama and Frida's relationship would've been like in Rise so it's a decently sized chunk of my outline for this au so far. I'm really gonna trim it down so the project could actually get finished but i know that'll be a big arc even after I shorten it. I love BM as a character and like,,,, yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, spins her in my mind on loop.

Is there anything in your fic/comic that you as the author know about, but won't end up in the actual story?

i'll start with the TMNT stuff first because of your PFP, but we gonna be here a while.

In WIBE, one of the characters we meet is Yuichi Usagi, who works at the human ROTM. He also works in the original ROTM. He was robbed while on a trip to the Hidden City, and is originally from a different city entirely. Hueso is doing his best to help him out, but it'll likely be a long time before Yuichi gets to go home.

Some other WIBE background characters in WIBE include: MM!Kendra, MM!Robyn O'Neil, MM!Irma, & MM!Casey Jones. I don't have a lot to say abt Kendra and Irma, since it's been a long time since I wrote any of it down, but I can give it my best shot with Robyn and Casey.

Robyn has been diagnosed with Generalised Anxiety disorder for a few years pre-fic. She's in her first year of college which is out-of-state, and does her best to check up on her family via phone call at least every other week. She's also sort of invested in all of April's new drama, but she won't admit it.

Casey's been playing hockey for as long as he can remember, and intends to keep at it for as long as he's physically able. He's also got a knack for engineering, and I'd gamble that sometime not long after the ending of WIBE, he'd start up the Casey Jones vigilante batshittery. His parents are divorced, but he spends most of his time with his Jewish mother, and while he's never been actually taught much about his religion he accepts it as a part of his identity, and if people don't like that then they shouldn't be around him in the first place. He finds the existence of the turtles to be one of the coolest things ever, but after actually getting to know Raph and the others, it doesn't impress him as much as it used to. (If I had time, I'd add in a tiny crush on Raph, but I'm an aro with WAY too many ideas for this tiny fic)

Then there's experienced fighters, where the main thing is me ALWAYS knowing what song is playing in the background. I really love how much music is in MM, and I love being able to say hey! here's the musical vibes of the environment!

sort of on that topic, i've got a hc that any song with even small references to space are songs that rise, 2k12, and MM leo are more likely to enjoy. they don't realize these patterns, but they sure are there.

and to end off the music rant, one of these days i'm gonna make a playlist of songs that I think the rise crew all collectively agree are good enough (this is what space feels like, goodie bag, punk tactics, etc. etc.)

there's also two in one, which is based off an au by @blackfire-fanfiction. I have to be real cautious abt what I put in there, because a lot of people are looking at it instead of the extended context of the real thing, not to mention how many Thoughts that aren't really canon I have about it. For instance: today I had a good 30 minute daydreaming session abt the concept of rise!Donnie reading leonardo's notebook while he's comatose post-rise movie and finding out about the switching

in dimension desync, I poke a bit at my head canons about peni parker's movie universe and her mental health at home, and have expanded on this even further in an abandoned draft. this is going to be LONG, so here we go: Gwen Stacy and Richard Parker were around in Peni's universe before she herself was, each piloting a mech of their own [Ven#m and Sp//DR]. A few months after Peni's mother is pregnant with her, Richard dies in action, and a few months later, Ven#m sort of devours Gwen (go read the comics because it's really fucked up but idk how to describe it) So then the role of SP//DR is forcefully thrust upon Peni at the age of eleven, and her connection with SP//DR isn't exactly... perfect.

in my team blue universe, I'm fleshing the hell out of Sam-13 and Shadowcat (both from earth 65). Sam was created by corrupt parts of SHIELD (that have yet to have been identified as corrupt) but now is just a regular agent. Cap returned to their dimension when he was 14 and has been in charge of training him ever since. Cap is stubborn to a fault and is def being manipulated by the corrupt agents, but none of the kids have gotten close to that bigger picture yet. Meanwhile, Kitty was inducted into the weapon x program (or 65's equivalent of it, I don't remember much of the wolverine origin story) at the age of 8, and despite odds survived. Wolverine took her in, and she's been helping him bounty hunt since about 13, even though he's trying to stop her.

team blue is also starting to extend to universes that the spider-verse movies don't really deal with through plants that have yet to be explained. but miguel's spite at e-199999 has definitely transferred, which means that, if they were ever to interact, not many of the main team would like the mcu-vengers

in my very obscure mech-x4 series, Olivia (who is only referenced by name once in the show) is veracity's little sister, who is 7 years old. This series is more of a set of vaguely connected oneshots, but still.

i could go ON AND ON about Oliver in all of my mighty med/lab rats fics, but in short: arcturion made his hair start growing in blonde, which he hates. Horace is his adopted dad and so it sucks ass when he dies. Oliver also comes with built in hypothermia! This is also definitely a headcanon, but I think that in EF once the rats have the upgraded chips, Chase's laser bō is green instead of blue, and his super senses are togglerable (to a degree) I also like to imagine Kaz's lil bro Kyle is his number one fan and nobody in his family listens to him when he claims that Kaz is one of the bionic guys on the news.

Ladies, Gentlemen, and sluts alike. I give you another tmnt au. But make it 2012.

Imagine if Karai was never abducted from Yoshi as a baby. She went with her father to live in America to escape the grief of their wife and mother. To help with this, Yoshi decides to take Karai (who now just goes by Miwa obvi) to a pet store to get what ever pet she wanted.

“These ones!” She pressed her nose against the glass.

“Turtles?” Yoshi examined the reptiles. “Don’t you want maybe a dog? Or a cat?”

“No, I want these ones.”

Yoshi sighs. “Fine we’ll get a turtle.”

“No! I want all of them.”

“You want all four of them?”

“They’re a family. A family shouldn’t be torn apart.”

So Yoshi gets four turtles for his daughter.

Then he sees something shifty, instructs Miwa to stay put. Blah blah blah, he gets turned into a rat and the turtles get mutated while Miwa remains unaltered.

She grows up with the ninja turtles. Develops a lot of the same hobbies as them, like skate boarding and video games.

Being the only unmutated one in the lair, she was allowed to go to the surface before any of the turtles could. Splinter was very hesitant, but the first time came out of necessity. (Leo was extremely sick and he needed medicine. Miwa was able to use the little money they had to buy some children’s cough syrup.)

She also gets all of the supplies and runs errands. The turtles really suck up to her when their mutation day comes close.

Although her life is much more loving, she’s still has a punk aesthetic. Raph mostly helped out, Mikey is always invited to watch them as they dye Miwa’s hair. Donnie would rather be working in the lab and Leo is a snitch.

Splinter doesn’t like it when she cuts and dyes her hair. First time she did it and sauntered out of the bathroom he nearly had a heart attack.

Hello! There are so many ways to do crossovers between Sonic and TMNT, they just work so well together. I really would love to see other interpretations,,, and aaaaa i have been thinking about this silly little au so much, thank you for the opportunity to talk about it!!!

The world/setting is based off the sonic adventure games. Both Humans and Mobians exist, although the mobians are a lot fewer in number thanks to a conflict in the past.

Hamato Yoshi and Oroku Saki grew up as childhood friends (close as brothers), but they grew apart and lost contact after high school.

Yoshi graduated college with a degree in mechanical engineering and, after many years, became well known for his work. One year out of the blue, he was contacted by his old friend. Oroku Saki had grown a very successful business and wanted to hire Yoshi to fix a persistent problem one of his labs has been running into.

In said lab, Yoshi stumbled upon something he wasn't supposed to. Baby turtle mobians connected to some mysterious ooze contraption.

He, of course, instantly adopted them all in his heart and broke them out of the facility. The authorities and Mysterious Figures hunted him for weeks, the chase ending in his plane being shot down somewhere over the ocean.

He woke to find the turtles and himself stranded on a mythic moving island in the care of the old rat mobian who protects it.

This is a very tiny bit of the notes and ideas I have written down XD, I got a bit carried away with writing the backstory for the tmnt bits.

🔫 the turtle au, hand over the deets (pretty please)

Ok so im pretty sure I haven’t spoken about my version of the turtles here at all, but I changed their species, backstory, and their personalities a bit as of rn. Obviously I’m still in the rough draft stage of designs, and I haven’t fully fleshed out backstory either, but it’s a work in progress!!

In my version, Splinter- or Yoshi ig- was a firefighter when he found the turtles. Draxum’s lab was experimenting on them, so their genes were already changed and partially mutated, but when a lab fire broke out the mutagen tank near where they were being kept exploded and they all got hit by it/touched it. Raph got the brunt of it, and received burns because of it, the others were a bit luckier and got out with minor scrapes and blisters. Splinter was responding to the fire, getting the scientists out with his partner, when he saw the turtles and lab rats and other animals being tested on (they’re important, they’re going to come back!!) he let the rats out first and got bit by one, which is how he mutated into a rat. He let all of the experiments out into a drainage pipe near the lab as he got them out, and the turtles were last. He brought them to the pipe and realized he was turning into a rat, almost at the same rate the little turtles were changing to resemble humans. He ends up taking them all the way into the sewer, since he can’t exactly go back to his job. He’s reported as dead, when the lab blows up, which leaves him to raise his new sons without worrying if anyone is looking for him.

I’ve also got how they meet April if anyone wants that as well!!

Playing around with a TMNT Star Wars AU.

Still VERY much a WIP but atm, BUT he’s what’s rattling in my brain so far for the story.

The Kraang are a race that are set up in wild space. They do experiments based more in genetic modification and mutation to make soldiers (like Kaminoans, but muating instead of cloning) They had planed to swoop in with an unstoppable army of mutant super soldiers and wipe out both the Separatists and the Republic and take the system for themselves.

Splinter was originally a human Jedi Shadow who was captured by the Kraang. They extracted DNA samples from Splinter to use in other experiments before splicing Whomp Rat dna into Splinter. The idea was to test if it would be faster to have force sensitive soldiers via mutating animals or mutating already trained Jedi.

As for Splinter’s DNA samples, they were spliced into two young turtles (loggerheads, since that’s the closest species I can find that is similar to the only canon turtles in star wars) These two would become Leo and Mikey.

Prior to Splinters capture, Raph and Donnie were mutated from normal turtles using Zabrak DNA. This makes Raph and Don the older siblings of the turtles.

At some point, Splinter manages to escape and to cause chaos, he pretty much opens all the doors in the lab and lets the mutant rampage. During his escape he come across the turtles. He can sense Leo and Mikey’s connection to the Force and Raph and Donnie are curled protectively over their baby brothers. So, Splinter scoops up all four tots and takes them with him.

By the time Splinter escapes the Empire has already risen to power, so the Hamato Clan hunkers down (either on an outer rim world or go place to place on a ship dubbed The Lair.) And when the boys all get to their teens they basically bully Splinter into letting them join the rebellion.

More Random Bits;

- All four turtles have high Midi-chlorian, but Leo and Mikey are the only two that can easily access the Force. This is, obviously, a point of tension sometimes.

- Roughly, Raph and Don are about two years older than Mikey and Leo and it took Splinter a year post mutating to escape. So when Splinter gets the kids, Raph and Donnie are about 3 and Leo and Mikey are about 1.

- Splinter has never even considered being a dad so he messes up a lot. Mostly in regard to the amount of attention each child gets. Leo and Mikey get the majority of his attention in the early days when he’s still figuring out how to dad. Unconsciously, he favors the two kids who are connected to him the most. Raph and Donnie but heads with him a lot in early days, Raph because of his anger and gun-ho attitude and Donnie because of his heavy reliance on tech.

- Splinter is a very traditional Jedi, despite his rank as a Shadow. He tries to impart the same traditions and ideals on his sons. It works fine for Leo but the rest have personalities that contradict the jedi orders ways strongly. Raph is angry and passionate, emotions on his sleeve type of guy. Mikey is in the same vain, only his passion is more rooted in a lust for life and love. Donnie’s scientific and analytical mind meshes poorly with the more spiritual sides of the Jedi Order and his lack of the Force doubles his resistance to it.

- There is no official leader to the group. Donnie and Raph don’t know which on of them is older so they trade off who is oldest depending on the situation. But when they join the rebellion they unanimously vote Leo as the leader of their team and Raph as the second in command.

(fyi, Splinter is NOT a bad dad in this AU. He struggles at first but he’s mostly worked out the kinks in his parenting by the time the turtles join the rebellion)

All right so @billiam-shakespeare has a TMNT au that has Venus raising the Rise boys which has given me the motivation to talk about my own Mom Venus Au.

I actually thought about this AU for a little while before learning about billiam's AU (sry didn't want to tag you twice my dude). Anyway, the AU takes place in the 2012 series. Venus began life as a regular red eared slider that was taken care of by a young woman who's well versed in the art of magic. Venus had a different name too, Mei Phei Chi, and was taken in by the woman because she was lonely.

The woman was happy when she found out Mei Phei Chi had been carrying eggs and had gone to the local vet to see what she had to do to help the turtle. There she encountered the Kraang and a man named Hamato Yoshi. Unfortunately, both got captured and were taken in for experimentation. Hamato Yoshi had been the lab rat for mutagen testing, transforming into a rodent while the Kraang used the woman's blood to gain access to magic.

The Kraang had only taken Mei Phei Chi and her clutch because they were with the two humans at the time. When they realized they could combine the humans skills, the Kraang got the idea to use these turtles as soldiers and mutated the mother soon after she laid her eggs. Mei Phei Chi had more than 8 eggs in that clutch, yet only 4 were good enough for the Kraang.

Eventually, everyone escaped and the woman had used a spell to hide everyone under the sewers of New York, turning the tunnels into a labyrinth. With the threat of capture lurking, she had asked Yoshi to watch over the turtles and teach them how to disappear. The woman would remain topside and bring food and furniture underground to the Hamatos. She would also teach magic to the turtles and encouraged Mei Phei Chi to give herself a new name now that the slider was no longer a pet.

Now that the sewers were more expansive, Venus had dedicated a small room to her lost children. While she may grieve over what she could have had, Venus still very much loves the children she has now and does her best to make sure the boys feel loved.

I introduce Camilla and her oozesquitoe twins, María and Diego, of my Lab Rats AU.

Camilla is a Hispanic woman who was kidnapped by scientists and used as a guinea pig to create born mutants after finding a couple of Draxum's oozesquitoes and linking them to the incidences over the years(i.e. Rupert mutating on live TV). Of course, in classic TMNT, or any cartoon in general, fashion, Camilla is saved and taken to the lair before the twins are born.

So here's a little more information about my turtles from e TMNT AU In the Name of Love.

The turtles were created on purpose by a man known as professor Bishop. He created them in hopes of making living weapons out of them. This did not go to plan however due to one of his lab associates Dr Yoshi Hamato finding out the true reason behind the creation of the turtles. Dr Hamato took the turtles and fled, but not before getting exposed to what is known as the m virus which will mutate a person or animal over a period of time. After professor Bishop's work came to light a man known as the Shredder sought him out in order to make an army for himself of these mutants. Meanwhile the turtles were being raised in the sewers of New York by their newly adopted rat father. Yoshi or as he started to go by Splinter had stolen professor Bishop's files on the turtles and so he knew what to expect from each one of his new children. Leonardo who seemed to be the oldest was gifted with super speed and healing hands. Michelangelo who appeared to be the youngest was gifted with super strength and could feel others emotions. Donatello who seemed to be the second oldest was gifted with higher intellect and minor range telepathy. Raphael who seemed to be the middle child was gifted with advanced growth and temperature resistance. They all seemed to share some abilities however, such as enhanced reflexes, enhanced senses, and enhanced recovery. Splinter's worry was that these abilities would draw people's attention to them. So he hid them the best that he could until he could hide them no longer. A young girl named April O'Neil discovered their hideout and she became fast friends with the turtles much to Splinter's concern. The turtles began to want to go out and explore the surface above, but Splinter forbade it, at least not until they learned how to defend themselves he said. And so he began teaching the turtles the ways of the Ninja as his Grandfather once taught him before his parents moved him to America. Of course April would join in every now and then. Eventually the day came when he decided it was time to let his children see for themselves the world above. So with a heavy heart Splinter allowed his children to go up top and explore under three rules they were to absolutely follow.

1. Do not talk to strangers whatsoever.

2. Be home before morning.

3. Do not get caught.

So long as they follow those three rules he would allow them to continue to go up top and explore the surface, but as you probably have gathered from all the other incarnations of the teenage mutant Ninja turtles things did not go as planned. However that is a story for another time.
