I could not imagine being a solicitor in Midsomer.
Just imagine trying to defend someone crushing the victim to death with cheese or catapulting someone with bottles of wine

Rewatching all the Midsomer Murders in order for about the 12th time and have come to the slightly insane conclusion that the Barnabys and Bullards were a polycule. Probably started with Cathy and Joyce when George and Tom were busy with murders and they talked the boys into joining in.
If I was in the Midsomer fandom, I am sure this theory would get me kicked out.

I'm never going to get over how Joyce and Cully seemed to NEVER get used to Tom running out of the house or an event for a case/emergency. Surely he's been doing this Cully's whole life and his and Joyce's whole married life? You'd think they wouldn't get so UPSET with him over it. I mean it obviously sucks, but he's a first responder and shit happens. I just think at a certain point it becomes unfair to him tbh, that's his job, his livelihood. It isn't his fault, as much as it's awful. I feel like Joyce at least should know what she signed up for, and Cully must be used to it

I love how Tom Barnaby’s approach to being the DCI is basically just directing his DS to go into the murder house first to find the dead body and/or murderer while he follows on a safe distance behind.
