It was official. Wonwoo was in big trouble.
After his chat with Sojung and his meeting with on the beach, there was no way he could deny that what he was feeling wasn’t the mate pull. Which was why he was currently sitting out on the patio, phone in hand and attempting to not text her. [Y/N], the name he had finally gotten, to check and make sure she hadn’t gotten into any more trouble with her Coven. From what little information she had given him, she was in pretty big trouble for their fight.
Thinking about that he lifted a hand to his face, the scars weren’t as bad as hers would be...that is if she could get scars. He knew Vampires healed better than most of the other species but he wasn’t sure to what extent. He would have to ask her later. Though with how closed off she was it would probably be a while before she actually was willing to answer his questions. Which Wonwoo completely understood, technically they were still on opposite sides.
The back door sliding open snapped Wonwoo out of his thoughts, and he quickly shoved his phone back into his pocket. Glancing over at the door, he watched as Vernon exited and joined him. The younger man taking the seat next to him. The male seemed just as chill as he normally did, Wonwoo wondered if his nature came from the fact that he was born right at the end of the seventies. It would make sense. Vernon didn’t say anything for a while, content with just sitting outside watching the snow softly fall.
As the two sat in silence, Wonwoo pondered for a moment about telling Vernon about everything that had happened over the past 3 days. Out of the whole Pack, Vernon and Sojung were the only two that Wonwoo couldn’t see blowing up or telling Seungcheol. He felt he needed to talk to someone about it though, this was his mate after all. Besides, if he wanted to stop the plan for the Full Moon then he would need help. Wonwoo wasn’t dumb enough to think he could do everything on his own.
Clearing his throat to break the silence, Wonwoo pushed himself forward slightly and placed his elbows on his knees.
“Vernon?” he was met with a small grunt, an acknowledgement that the younger was listening. “What would you do if you found your mate?” The question was innocent enough. Wonwoo wondered if Vernon had even really thought about it before, considering the male had only been ageless for about 19 years where Wonwoo had been stuck looking like a 20 year old for more than 70.
Back when he was younger, Wonwoo had always assumed that his mate would be human or another wolf. That his romance would be a simple one, like his parents before him. He hadn’t been anticipating...whatever this was turning out to be.
Vernon shrugged in response. “I mean, I guess I’d just tell them that they’re my mate? Maybe go on a few dates? It’s not really something I think about too much.” Vernon wasn’t exactly known for being a person who thinks ahead, more of a go with the flow type of guy. Wonwoo honestly had expected this kind of answer from him. What he hadn’t been expecting was the follow up.
“What about you? I mean, you found them right? That’s why you’ve been sneaking off late at night recently, and being all weird?” Wonwoo simply blinked at the younger male, a bit amazed that he had been so obvious about his situation. Vernon took his silence as an invitation to continue.
“I mean, everyone’s kind of noticed. Especially since you ran off by yourself after the meeting tonight and didn’t come home til like 1.” He’d need to be more careful about that from now on. Having her number would definitely help out with seeming less suspicious when leaving. Now he’d just message her if he would be late to their meetings.
Running a hand through his hair, Wonwoo leaned back into the chair once more. Heavily debating on actually confessing everything to Vernon. It was a risky decision, even if Vernon didn’t freak out. Anxiety filled his gut as he leaned forward once more, casting a glance over to the door that led back into the house. Once he was certain that no one was about to join them outside, or could possibly be listening in, he made his decision.
“I did.” swallowing back his nerves, he was honestly amazed that he had been able to keep his poker face on as he spoke. “I did find her, but it’s a lot more complicated than I expected.” Vernon snorted a bit, pulling on the strings of his hoodie as he listened to his elder.
“Can’t be that hard? You just gotta lay on your...charm.” Vernon gave Wonwoo a once over before nodding firmly. As if needing to confirm that his nerdy pack mate was, in fact, charming. If Wonwoo wasn’t in complete agreement, he probably would have been insulted. “Yeah you’re charming enough, I’m sure you can woo her in no time.”
“Yeah. It’d probably be easier if we weren’t going to be trying to run her and her family out of town in...3 days now?” Not a great way to say it, but it was better than just saying flat out that she is a Vampire. Not much better but still, he gave himself points for trying.
“We’re running people out of town in 3 days? I haven’t heard anything happening on the Full Moon...oh” Vernon trailed off, as the realization hit him. Like Wonwoo before him, Vernon turned a bit to get a good look at the back door to make sure no one was coming out or watching them through the glass. Once he was sure, he turned back to Wonwoo and honestly looked concerned.
“She’s...ya know?” at this, Vernon lifted his hands and mimed Vampire fangs with his index fingers. “I vant to suck your bluuud” He made sure to use his most stereotypical vampire accent he could. Wonwoo just nodded in response before he slouched and rested his head in his hands. It would have been funnier if Wonwoo was less stressed about the whole thing.
“Well shit.”
Well shit was right.
“Does she know?” Wonwoo lifted his head a moment, returning his gaze to Vernon. A brow raised in confusion at his friend’s words.
“Does she know that you two are mates? Does she even know how mates work?” Oh. That was a question that Wonwoo hadn’t thought about. She seemed to have pretty closed minded views when it came to Werewolves so it wouldn’t be too surprising if she had no idea how mates worked for wolves. That was another thing to add to his list of things he needed to talk to her about.
Vernon shook his head at Wonwoo’s lack of response. “You need to talk to her about it. The sooner the better, especially since she might be able to get her people to stop with the bodies. Sana and Jacob found another one on their run tonight.”
“That’s something else, she says that it isn’t her people doing that.” Wonwoo was quick to give that information. He wanted to make sure that he was clearing that suspicion as soon as he could, with whom he could at least. So at the moment, only Vernon. If he brought it up with anyone else he would have to explain how he knew, which wouldn’t be good.
The distrust was clear on Vernon’s face, not that he distrusted Wonwoo but he definitely distrusted his mate. Which Wonwoo had expected.
“She said she would talk to her Coven about it and make sure, but until she gets back to me I’ll take her word for it.” Wonwoo continued. Not just because of the mate bond, but because she had honestly seemed confused when he had brought it up. “And she said she would believe me when i told her that Hyunwoo and Hoseok didn’t mean to hurt that kid the other day.”
Vernon jutted out his lips a bit and nodded, obviously still not too keen on taking her for her word but he’d trust Wonwoo. This was new territory after all, neither of the men had heard of a wolf being mated with a vampires. So neither male was certain how to approach the subject.
Now it was time to breach the next conversation topic.
“Tomorrow night, could you cover for me if I go meet her again?”
***
The last few days of your life, you had gotten some pretty bad ideas. By far, this was the worst one yet.
Zipping up your jacket all the way to your neck, making sure your gloves tucked nicely under your sleeves and finally making sure your umbrella was open and ready for you to exit the building.
In the daytime.
Which would slowly start to burn you alive if the sun touched you.
So all in all, this was a terrible idea. But information was needed and the Coven didn’t have anyone that could go out during the day safely, sure there was Keonhee but the second you mentioned the bodies in the forest he panicked and almost started crying. Sure you could have messaged Wonwoo and asked him, but it felt wrong to make him do all the daytime work. Especially since there was that part of you that was still apprehensive of him. So, needless to say, it was up to you to risk your life to try and figure out what the hell was going on in this town.
Thankfully, Minghao had given you the okay for this mission. He even went so far as to make sure it was kept secret from Jun and Soonyoung as well. You were honestly pretty grateful that Minghao seemed to be so willing to help you. When you first started all of this, you were expecting the inner circle to have more issues with it. Minghao was proving you wrong, even mentioning that he feels the hatred between Vampires and Werewolves had gotten dumb and cliche so if this would help stop a war between the two groups in town then he would help.
Now here you were, carefully walking through the town during the day time. It wasn’t too sunny because of the cloud coverage as it snowed, but you were still far too paranoid to close the umbrella.
The day started out with you getting absolutely no information on anything, no one had heard of anyone disappearing and the police station had only released  one or two missing persons reports in the past few months. So while those could definitely have been a few of the victims, it was hard to know. After all, humans were sometimes worse than any creature that the night had to offer.
As you walked through the town, a yawn left your lips. You weren’t used to being out at this time of day, in fact it had been over a hundred years since the last time you were outside in the daytime.
“Are you…[y/n]?” The voice snapped you out of your thoughts and had you staring at a young man. He looked around twenty, with hair that reminded you of the red from a sunset. His bright tye-dye hoodie was almost worse than the bright environment you had been having to deal with for the past few hours.
Adjusting your umbrella once again, you raised a brow at the male. “Who the hell wants to know?” The aura of the male was definitely that of a wolf, but the only wolf who knew your name was Wonwoo. As that thought passed through your head, anxiety began to pool inside of your gut. You were thinking the absolute worst, had Wonwoo been using you to get information on your Coven? You hadn’t given him much, but it would explain why he kept wanting to meet up despite the Full Moon only being 3 days away now.
As if he could tell what you were thinking, the male quickly raised his hands out in front of him. Almost like he was surrendering. “I’m a friend of Wonwoo’s. He told me about you yesterday, said that you were a...ya know.” He lifted his hands to make mock fangs with his index fingers. He then moved a hand out for you to shake. A goofy looking smile on his face, as if he was trying to appear more like a trustworthy person. “I’m Vernon, by the way.”
You simply stared at his hand for a moment, and gave him your best ‘are you kidding me’ look. This just caused him to laugh a bit before dropping his hand, shoving it back inside the pocket of his hoodie.
“I’m surprised to see you outside during the daytime.” He confessed, “I thought just being outside when the sun was out could kill you. But i’m sure you won’t tell me how it actually works, so I won’t ask.” Well at least he caught on quick.
You didn’t know how to feel about Wonwoo having told this man about your meetings. It felt a little like a betrayal, but at the same time you knew that Wonwoo owed nothing to you. Least of all loyalty. Despite this you were still clenching your teeth in frustration, grip on the umbrella becoming tight enough that you were mildly worried you would break the handle.
“Wonwoo is about to get off work, do you want to come with me to pick him up? Three people together might have better luck finding things than just one person.” He didn’t wait for your response, and just walked past you as if he expected you to follow him. Blinking in surprise, you turned and watched him walk for a few seconds. Against your better judgement, that’s exactly what you did.
It was a few minutes of walking in silence before Vernon stopped in front of a small book store. So you would assume that this was where Wonwoo worked. Vernon opened the door and looked back at you, he seemed like he was about to say something when you simply followed in after him. He stared back at you after you entered with a look of surprise etched onto his face.
“I thought you needed to be invited into places?” His rather silly question caused you to snort in laughter as you breezed past him. Making sure you were far enough away from the glass door before you closed your umbrella.
“That’s literally only private homes.” you retorted, an amused smirk on your face as you watched him. He nodded in response as if the information was truly valuable. It really wasn’t, which was why you told him at all. If it had been something more important you would have kept your mouth shut like before.
As the two of you walked through the store, you avoided the store front because of the larger windows on that side. He asked you small questions about your people, what you thought was happening, etc. You answered as vaguely as possible, still not fully trusting this wolf. You also hadn’t seen Wonwoo yet, which was a bit concerning since Vernon had said this was where he worked.
Despite the light tension things were going pretty good between the two of you, up until Vernon decided to step on a landmine.
“Why do you hate wolves so much?” His question had you freeze. Wonwoo hadn’t even asked you that yet, but here Vernon was asking this before he even knew you for a full twenty four hours. You were silent for a moment, a hand that had been reaching out to a book just simply stayed on the spine. Not bothering to pull the book out, or to move your hand away.
Seeming to realize the trigger he had hit, he quickly back tracked. “You don’t have to answer, I’m just a bit curious. Everyone seems to have reasons for hating each other. I just wanted to know yours.” he explained. Vernon had been surprised to see such a look of defeat and anger on your face, an odd mix of emotions that you didn’t see regularly. “I mean, I don’t really hate Vampires. I just got told growing up that they were bad for whatever reason. So I was curious if, you know, Vampires did the same things?”
“It’s fine.” you muttered, pulling your hand away from the shelf at last. You crossed your arms over your chest and turned to face him. “I hate Wolves because they’re the reason I’m like this.” It was something you didn’t like to think about. When you did, you could remember the screams of your little sister as a wolf tore her limb from limb. Your mother sobbing in anguish as she watched your father’s mutilated corpse fall to the floor of your home. The feeling of all the air leaving your lungs as you were thrown harshly through the wall of your home and landing harshly on the ground outside.
Needless to say it was a day that you did not like remembering.
“[y/n]?” Recognizing the familiar voice, you spun around to find yourself almost face to face with Wonwoo. He smiled when he realized that it was in fact you. “What are you doing out during the day time? I thought that could kill you?” He questioned, placing a hand on your shoulder as if that would help convey his worry for you. With a gentleness that you hadn’t been expecting from yourself, you pushed his hand away.
“Couldn’t let you do all the work during the day, now could I?” You muttered, and flashing him an actual smile for what was probably the first time since you had met. The brushing past him and making your way back to the front of the shop and opening your umbrella so you could exit and continue your search.
***
The three of you asked around about anything strange going on. It was about 4pm when eventually you came across a young woman, maybe mid twenties.
“Minah, you said your name was? Can you tell us exactly what happened?”
The woman nodded, her soft coils bouncing lightly as she did. Her aura reminded you of Keonhee, of someone that was too kind and too pure for the kind of world they lived in. It was almost sad that she lived in a town as apparently dangerous as this one was. She seemed frightened as she spoke to the three of you, as she was currently wringing her hands together and looking over her shoulder as if someone was going to jump out and grab her.
“Yes, Minah that’s my name. I um...you’re probably going to think i’m crazy. The police did.” she muttered, green eyes casting themselves down toward the snow covered concrete. Vernon flashed her a small smile and shook his head.
“Believe me, if anyone will believe you it’s us three.”
Taking him for his word she continued. “Well I was coming home from work last night and since it was late, and I wanted to get home quicker so I took the alley. It’s the fastest way to my complex so I take it even if it’s a bit more sketchy.” As she spoke she refused to make eye contact with any of you, her emerald eyes staying glued on her feet.
“I saw this couple, and they looked like they were fighting. But the guy clearly had the advantage and he had shoved the woman harshly against the building wall. I didn’t really know what to do, so I was going to call the police but before I could even get my phone out. He...well he bit her neck, and not in like the sexy way like in the attacking kind of way. I think he was a Vam-”
“A Vampire.” You finished. Minah nodded in agreement with you, her eyes finally meeting yours. You could see the hope that seemed to grow in her eyes. Simply because you believed her. At her confession, Wonwoo glanced over at you. Wordlessly asking if it could have been any member of your Coven. You shook your head immediately, as everyone last night had been partnered up and no one said they got separated. So it had to be a stray, or at least that’s the only conclusion you could come to.
“Minah, did he see you?” Wonwoo questioned, glancing back at the woman. Your stomach dropped as she nodded again. That was definitely not good, and if he could he would probably go after her next. That was very not good. Pulling your phone out, you shot a quick text to Minghao. Giving him a short summary of what you’d just been told.
“Am I in trouble? He’s going to find me isn’t he?” Her questions sounded so defeated, as if your reactions had confirmed that the woman was soon to die because of her actions. Vernon instantly began to deny it, but didn’t have any real proof to comfort the woman, who looked as if she was about to start crying.
After receiving a response from Minghao, you slid your phone back into your pocket and approached the woman. Your umbrella now covering the both of you from the light snow that continued to fall, she shivered as she looked up at you.
“Minah. I might have a way to keep you safe but you have to trust me okay?” She nodded slowly, tears still brimming in her eyes. In response you simply opened your mouth slightly, giving her a quick view of her fangs. You were pretty amazed that despite the obvious fear in her eyes she still stood her ground, trusting you as you had asked her to.
“I’m going to take you to a safe place, more people like me can protect you from that guy you saw last night. Will you come with me?” You sighed in relief when she nodded to agree. Asking her to wait there for a moment, you turned back to your companions. Grabbing their arms and pulled them a little further away from Minah, to speak out of range of her.
“Minghao says we can watch her until we figure out what’s going on. I’ll drop her off and...and “ you paused mid sentence to let out a long yawn, obviously the very few hours of sleep you got before coming out was catching up to you. “And then we can meet up at the beach. Can you two see if you find any bodies out in the forest, maybe the woman she saw last night?”
“What exactly are you going to do?” Wonwoo questioned. He seemed almost concerned, as if he had thought of something you hadn’t. “How are you going to explain to your Coven why you were out during the day?” Well he had in fact thought of something you hadn’t.
Sure Minghao and Hyunjin knew what you were doing, but everyone would know you were out during the day if you brought Minah back there. It would put you in a very difficult situation. Jun was still upset with you for your recklessness the night you attacked Wonwoo, and Soonyoung...well you hadn’t seen him since that day so who knows how he would react to coming home to a human in the spare room. Chan you weren’t too worried about, sure he was a member of the inner circle but he never really concerned himself with things outside of his job for the night.
So basically you just had to worry about Jun. It is never good to have to worry about Jun. You didn’t want to let Wonwoo or Vernon know this, especially not Wonwoo. So you simply shrugged in response.
“I’ll improvise. It’s no biggie, I’m a great liar.” Wonwoo snorted in response, shaking his head at you. The expression on his face showed how little he believed your words. Flashing a small glare in his direction, you jabbed at him with your elbow. A laugh escaped his lips at your actions and he gently pushed you back.
“Guys can you two flirt later? We have stuff we need to do.” Vernon seemed to be the voice of reason today. You almost made an attempt to deny that you were flirting, but before you could Wonwoo spoke up.
“You’re right, we should get going or Seungcheol will get worried.” But he made no effort to deny Vernon’s statement, which would have caused your face to flush if you had been capable of blushing still. Wonwoo turned to you, carefully placing a hand on the shoulder of your uninjured arm. “Make sure you get back safe, and message me if anything happens.”
With that, the three of you parted ways. The boys headed North towards their home, and you turned back to Minah. Keeping her close as you made your way back South towards the bar.
This was going to be fun to explain.

Sitting next to the bed Y/N was resting in, Kylo was holding her hand while his eyes wandered around the ER.
The smell of Y/Ns blood was stinging in his nose, her scent had even more changed and he almost didn’t recognize it anymore from the first time they had met.
“I should’ve known …. I noticed it, but I just didn’t think...” he mumbled to himself, while pressing his lips against her hand.
“Please … please don’t leave me here alone...” looking at her calm face right now, he broke into tears. For him it was feeling like an eternity that he was sitting there, waiting for either Y/N to wake up again or for the nurse to return with any results or do more tests.
And what should he do when she had to stay here? Tomorrow was Full Moon, he could already feel this insatiable hunger in him, that he always felt the day before his gruesome transformation.
Closing his eyes for a moment he pushed his forehead against her hand that he was still holding until he could feel a light squeeze.
In an instant his head snapped up and he could see his amte slowly opened her eyes.
When their eyes met, she instantly wanted to cry when she saw his relieved face. With her trembling hand she gently laid it against his cheek.
“I’m sorry … I should’ve listened to you...” her voice was just a whimper.
“It’s alright, Moonshine. They will fix you up and we can go home again.”
But as soon as they saw the nurse coming their way, both of them could tell that something was wrong. For a moment, the nurse tried to explain the results until she spoke the words that none of them thought they would need to hear tonight.
After Y/N heard the words - there is nothing we can do- her body shut down completely, in her ears she could only hear the pumping of her blood, very faintly hear Kylo shouting in the background while the nurse tried to explain it to him. Her body sank back down onto the bed she was laying on and she let go of Kylos hand. It was over. There was nothing left.
“What do you mean you can’t do anything for her?! There is something you can do right?!” he barked at the smaller woman in front of him. Again she tried to explain to Kylo that the sickness had already reached her bone marrow and that even if they would try the usual treatment, nothing would change. It would only make her feel even worse.
“The only thing we can do for her is to make things easier. We can provide you with Morphin until...”
“That can’t be your only solution! Drugging her until she finally dies?! There has to be another way…. there has to be….” his voice broke.
Feeling a hand on his shoulder he looked back at the Director that was standing behind him. Kylo didn’t even care how he got here, he just fell back on the chair he was previously sitting on and buried his face in his hands.
Just like that the life of his love was supposedly over. The feeling broke his heart, but he couldn’t imagine how Y/N was feeling right now.
Looking back up at her, her eyes seemed empty and her face was showing no serious emotions just staring up at the ceiling.
“Moonshine ...” for a small moment he thought he had already lost her until she weakly stretched her hand out to him and he quickly pulled her in his arms where she started to cry.
They didn’t even had a whole year together, not even the chance to have their own little family. All the plans they had made for their future, places they wanted to travel to, food they wanted to try, experiences they wanted to share, gone. Crumbling down right before their eyes. If she hadn’t been so stubborn and actually had listened to Kylos constant worries, this could’ve been avoided. But now it was too late and her life was supposedly over, just like that.
“Let’s bring her home, she should be with her own people.” the director mumbled a bag in hand.
“I took care of everything, don’t worry about money right now.” he spoke to Kylo who only nodded and lifted Y/N from the bed.
“I will meet you at home, unless you want me to accompany you.” the director spoke, but Kylo only shook his head and the other tall figured vanished into the shadows.
On the ride back, Kylo had to endure her quiet sobs from the back while trying to see through his own teary eyes.
“I will find a way...” he suddenly mumbled through gritted teeth.
“Whatever it takes, when the goddamn humans can’t help us I will find another way. Even if I have to sell my soul!” he growled, his fingers wrapping tighter around the steering wheel until he could feel Y/Ns arm slowly wrap around his shoulders, her breath weak.
“I love you … more than anything.” she whispered while pushing her head against his.
Laying one of his hands on hers he bit his lip.
“I will find something. I promise...”
When they finally returned back to the circus, everyone was already waiting for them, concerned and worried about Y/Ns state.
“Almost there… just a bit...” he whispered while picking her up, even though they had already given her something the fever was already back and tearing at her energy while she was in constant pain.
Kicking the door shut, he could already hear the little creatures cries for their foster mother but Phasma tried to hold them back while Kylo brought Y/N inside their tent to place her gently on their bed.
“I will be right back, Moonshine...” kissing her forehead she held onto him a little longer before her creatures slowly made their way to her to lay next to her.
Watching Kylo leave with tears in her eyes, Y/N already knew that her time would be over soon.
“Goodnight, Love...” were the last words she got out.
“Do we have anything to summon a demon?! Or even the Devil himself if need be!” he shouted around in the group while folding up the hem of his sleeves, already throwing chairs from the audience out of the way so they would have enough room.
“Kylo, you can’t be serious with this nonsense! You want to save her just so that she would lose you in a year?” Phasma hissed and Kou, who was wrapped around his Mother's neck, did the same.
“It is better than whatever is happening right now!” he screamed back and tossed a few more things around.
“Are you fucking helping or not?! If not stay the fuck out of my way!” his grief was already turning into rage and no one could say what he might do in his anger.
“What if you or Finn would turn her? Your lycanthropy could heal her or Finn could make her undead.” Poe was approaching him, but as soon as he laid his hand on Kylos shoulder the werewolf pushed it away.
“We have no idea what my bite or his blood could do to a fairy… If my teeth would come anywhere near Finn in my fullmoon wolf form he could die! The same could be with fairies. We have no idea what it would do. She is a light creature while we are dark creatures.” ruffling through his hair he was pacing up and down the big tent.
“And what if she dies through your bite? Would it really matter?” Rey suddenly asked and he shot her a glare, in that moment, he was ready to just kill her.
“You better keep your mouth shut, bitten ...” he growled dangerously low while he showed his fangs.
“Either she turns into one of us or she is released from this pain! It is a better plan whatever you are trying to do! Just fucking ask her what she wants!” Rey screamed back at him.
For a moment he was taken aback by her words, he hadn’t even thought about asking her himself. Turning her into a werewolf had indeed crossed his mind while they were in the hospital, but when he realised that his bite could also kill her, he immediately crossed it of his list.
His panicked thought to keep her alive no matter what, let him forget that he could’ve asked her what she would’ve wanted, even if it would mean that he needed to let her go.
Just when he was about to run back to her a figure appeared in the entrance.
“You won’t turn anyone, boy.” the person spoke while coming closer, the light of the Fullmoon lingering behind him.
“Marking a human, letting them into our world and now committing treason while conspiring to turn her into one of us without the consent of the pack. You know what punishment awaits you.” stepping into the light, Kylo looked into the face of his own father.
“Fucking try me old man...” before anyone could stop them, Kylo let the Full Moon take over without resisting the madness that was growing inside of him and in an instant he turned the most powerful version of his wolfform, while his father had done the same to avoid his sons attack. The silver wolf who was bigger than Kylo, started to growl and it didn’t take long for him to attack back. Sinking his teeth into his son's neck, Han flung him onto the stage. Kylo quickly dug his claws into the wooden floor to slow down his fall before he readied himself for his next attack.
Everyone just watched the wolves in horror until Phasma got them out of their daze.
“What are you standing around here!? Get out! Wake the others and get them somewhere safe!!” the tall woman screamed orders while she helped Rey to get out of there since she was dazed from the wolfsbane that hindered her own transformation.
They could hear screams from far away while people started to panic after they heard that two werewolves were running loose.
Entering her own tent, she found Finn and Poe who were trying to grab all of her snakes.
“Thank you guys but let them escape on their own. I will need help with Rey and Y/N!” entrusting Finn with Rey, which he quickly threw over his shoulders, they wanted to make their way to Y/Ns and Kylos tent until one of the wolfs crushed in the tent next to them.
Everyone stopped their movement and watched the black wolf slowly get up, drool and blood dripping from his teeth while he growled at his opponent, it was the first time ever that anyone of his friends had seen Kylo this big and with red glowing eyes.
“G...go...now!” Poe was the first to sneak by him and it seemed like Kylo didn’t pay them any attention then soon he was jumping back at the silver wolf to ram his teeth into him.
“But is it such a good idea to get Y/N out of here?” Finn asked under his breath while adjusting his grip around Reys legs.
“Are you kidding me? They could trample her! We can’t even tell if he remembers the potential plan to turn her in his state. He has gone complete berzerk!” Phasma shook her head.
Running around the next corner they could almost see the white tent where they needed to be, but wreckage was blocking their path.
“Through the kitchen!” Poe quickly led them another way until they could hear somebody scream for help. A few tents had caught fire and it seemed like a few people were locked into them.
“SHIT!” Phasma cursed, how were they supposed to get everyone out of here? And if someone from a nearby town would see the fire they would send the police or fire department, which would endanger their secret. Biting her lip, Rose suddenly came their way.
“Are you guys alright?” she asked while pushing a bit of rumble out of their way with her air magic.
“Help Finn bring Rey out of here! Poe we go take out the fire.” Phasma told them her sudden plan.
“But Y/N...” Finn countered.
“They are still far enough away from the edge… If you got Rey somewhere safe try to get to Y/N. After we take out the fire we will do the same.” the blonde woman explained further.
“Take Tricos Talisman so he will get to his normal size! He can help evacuate!”
Hearing loud growling in the distance they immediately scattered, a pillar falling right onto the spot they were just standing in.
-
Stalking between the rubble of tents and cars, Kylo looked up at the sinking moon, the silver wolf lying motionless behind him.  Slowly his mind got clearer again and the only thought that was keeping his body moving at the moment was to get to Y/N.
It was the only motivation he had left, to try and turn her so that they could still be together. He didn’t even notice that he was limping until he tried to climb the tubble that was blocking his path to her.
Letting out a yelp, he fell down the other side, finally able to see the tent that was almost untouched.
For the last time, he pushed himself up from the ground before stumbling into the tent, where 3 people were surrounding her body.
Growling at them he was ready to pounce until they suddenly scattered away from her.
“Get back get back!” Phasma quickly grabbed Poes and Finns arm to pull them away while the black wolf made it very clear for them to keep away. They could see deep wounds on him, the red blood that was covering his fur and still after all of that, he still had made his way to her.
Too scared to move they watched while Kylo climbed onto the bed to sink his sharp fangs into Y/Ns neck with the last strength he had until he collapsed slowly turning back into his human form.
Her blood tasted bitter in his mouth and when he nuzzled his face against hers he could feel how cold her body was.
After seconds of nothing happening he just pulled her limp body into his arms before he let out a distraught scream, his friends soon joining him in a silent hug.
-
“Did I kill anyone?” Kylo asked Phasma after a while, who tried to bandage his wounds.
“As far as we can tell we got everyone out, but we don’t know about that man that you fought…” Phasma explained while Kylos eyes were fixated on Y/Ns motionless face and her little creatures that had gathered back around her. Gently brushing over her cheek, Kylo just felt empty inside. Without Y/N nothing in his life made any sense anymore.
“It takes a bit more than that to kill your Father...” Han was suddenly standing in the entrance, looking as beaten up as his son.
“What is it now old man? The reason you came for is no more...” Kylo didn’t even look up at him and Han looked at the body in the bed.
“It never would’ve worked, son. The pack would’ve been against it.” Han tried to explain but Kylo started to growl at him.
“Don’t tell me what the pack wants or not! You have thrown me out from the family because the pack wanted it! You have left mom, because the pack wanted it and what had that gotten you? A nice suit and a big paycheck.” standing up from his spot he made his way over to his father.
“You never cared about family! So don’t try to interfere with mine! Or I will rip your freaking head off! You already took her from me and I will make your life hell for it!” spitting out the rest bit of Y/Ns blood in his mouth he suddenly noticed that the bitter smell was completely gone from it.
“And if your goddamn pack would do his research right, she was not even human! They just send you here to kick someone who was already down!” his voice almost broke again at the thought that his dead mate was laying behind him.
His father stayed quiet while his son continued to let his frustration out.
“We barely even had a year together and ...” breaking off mid sentence Kylo had the feeling as if he could smell her sweet scent again which made his lip quiver until his eyes widened.
Turning around in realisation, Kylo quickly kneeled beside Y/Ns motionless body that suddenly sat straight up while she let out a loud gasp her eyes glowing a yellow orange for a moment before they turned back to their normal selves.
“K...Kylo?” she asked confused, but the only thing he could do right now was to press her as tightly as he could against his chest.
“I thought I lost you...” he whispered against her neck, no sign of his bite left, all her wounds had healed. Same with her blood.
“You promised to find a way… and you did …” chuckling lightly, Y/N buried her face against his shoulder, his deep scent calming her down immediately, now she could understand why he would always bury his face in her hair. The things she was feeling right now were overwhelming, she could hear so much more, everyone's heartbeat was echoing in her ears and could tell everyone apart just by their scent alone. Her body felt completely new, no fever, no pain, no blood spitting but stronger than before.
Now that she was different, Y/N wondered if she could still take care of her creatures. Feeling something pushed against her arm, she looked down at Trico Mellow and Morgana who immediately told her how worried they were. Relieved she picked them all up to nuzzle them.
“I’m better now… this time I really am.” she promised them.

Wolfstar Charms
You both like sirius/remus.
Stranger: [6th year, Remus hasn't told his friends about the werewolf gig yet.] Hey, so. I heard you talking to McKinnon after Magical Creatures today. Is that how you really feel about werewolves and vampires? Marlene was saying some pretty hard shit.-R
You: Well, I don't know what was said, but yeah. I mean, they attack anyone that gets close enough and spread their condition like a disease. They're better off where they can be kept an eye on that let loose in the world. -S
Stranger: But like. Every werewolf? -R
Stranger: And they only turn one night every month -R
You: But how can you be sure? I mean maybe not constantly but at least as their cycle gets closer. You heard what the professor said, they're practically monsters. I would feel safer if something was done about them. I'm not saying to kill them but something should be done. Even if its requiring them to be locked up during that time. -S
You: Why are you so curious about this anyways? -S
Stranger: I don't know. I just think it's wrong to prosecute an entire race of people, some of which may have done nothing wrong. -R
Stranger: There's bad ones, sure, but like. Thats not everyone. Just like not every pure blood is evil. -R
Stranger: Should we round up all of you lot and lock you up? -R
Stranger: I--fuck, I'm usually more eloquent about this, I'm just tired. -R
You: Whoa! Hey! That is not the same thing! I'm not saying to enslave them or anything like that! Locking them up during a transformation is humane! It would be for the protection of both them and the people around them. I know its not their fault. I'm not an idiot. -S
Stranger: It's inhumane to lock anyone up. -R
You: [Delay] Yeah... you usually are lol. I'm not use to seeing you so riled up. Whats got you so tired. -S
Stranger: Like -- would you want to lock me up for the week before the full moon if I was a werewolf or something? -R
Stranger: You said they're basically monsters -R
Stranger: Nothing, it's nothing. I just didn't sleep well, okay? -R
You: They are. Basically monsters I mean... but that doesn't make the people they infect monsters. I mean... the beast that comes out at night is not the person they are the rest of the time yeah?-S I mean, I never really considered it but... Would you have a better idea? Look at it from the person's point of view. You heard about the wizard that woke up after a cycle to find he had slaughtered his whole family? Sure, it sounds cruel when you explain it like that but they guy ended up offing himself cuz he couldn't live with what he had done. If I were a werewolf I'd want to be locked up during my cycle to protect you guys. I mean, I wouldn't know what I'd do if I hurt one of you. -S Maybe you should talk to one of the Ravenclaws, they might be able to slip you something to help sleep a bit better. A charm or something? -S
Stranger: I'm sure the werewolves that actually care take proper precautions. -R
Stranger: There was that one, sure, but. -R
Stranger: All the wolves in the media are all those nasty ones, that just was to cause mayhem. They should be punished for their crimes sure, but you can't control an entire race, that's not right
Stranger: I know plenty of charms. -R
You: Listen, Remus. I'm not going to pretend like I know why you have such a hard on for werewolves' rights suddenly and I'm also not going to pretend like I know everything. You asked and I told you. If you have a better idea for dealing with them then great. As far as I'm concerned it doesn't really involve me and its not like I'm going to write a strongly worded letter to the Minister to try and convince him of anything. Regardless of how either of us feels if a werewolf attacks us in the middle of the night I'm not going to be too torn up for defending myself. -S
Stranger: ..right. Sure. -R
Stranger: I'm going to go nap in Pomfrey's office. -R
You: Probably for the best. Want me to come fetch you for lunch? -S You're even worse when you don't eat. -S
Stranger: Um -R
Stranger: Maybe, I don't know. -R
Stranger: I can ask Peter to bring me something -R
You: [Delayed] If you're sure. Let me know if you change your mind. I promised James I'd meet him on the pitch before third so I won't be doing much. -S
Stranger: you'll be late for transfig -R
You: Wouldn't be the first time. -S
Stranger: Gonny's gonna murder you -R
You: I'd like to see them try. Besides, Lily is suppose to be there too. No one ever gets on to her. -S
Stranger: well.. I hope you guys have a nice time. -R
You: It'd be nicer if you would join us. -S
Stranger: um -R
Stranger: I can see if I can grab some coffee. -R
You: Awesome! I'll swing by the kitchens and bribe one of the house elves for those sweets you like so much. -S
Stranger: sure, yeah. -R
Stranger: I'll see you on the pitch then. -R
You: [[Switch to para?]]
Stranger: [[sure!!]
Stranger: [[I can start]]
You: [[Sounds good]]
Stranger: Every bone in his body hurt before the full moon. Every movement was filled with pain, and the entire week of the moon he felt like he wanted to crawl out of his skin. And he would've, if it meant that it'd stop. Remus dragged a hand through his hair as he made the hike down the hill from the castle to the quidditch pitch, slipping onto the field without being seen. James and Lily were already there, talking quit close together over on the edge of the field. He raised a hand to offer a hello, a grimace on his face with each movement.
You: "Remus!" Sirius called from Remus' right. He was still a few yards away an bulging cloth tucked under his right arm, a few pastries peaking out from beneath it. His left was tugging on a Peter's elbow as the other boy seemed to shift his gaze this way and that as if worried they'd be caught and taken to the dungeon's at any moment. "There you are! I was worried I might have to go to Pomfry's office after al-" he cut himself off as he drew up close enough to make out the boy's expression. "Christ, you look like shite. You weren't kidding earlier were you?"
Stranger: It wasn't fun, being woken up in the middle of the night with agonizing pain. He glanced over to Sirius as he came over to him, and he offered a small smile. "Yeah, I uh, rallied. I have my coffee in my bag so, hopefully that'll get me through potions later." Hey sighed. He nodded to Peter, and glanced back over at Lily and James. "It's fine though. Like I said, I just. Didn't really sleep." he had bags under his eyes, his face a little sunken in. "Whatcha got there?"
You: Sirius glanced down at the bundle as if he had forgotten about it entirely. "Oh, right!"
You: [sorry wasn't done]
Stranger: [nw]
You: Sirius glanced down at the bundle as if he had forgotten about it entirely. "Oh, right! I told you I was gonna swing by the kitchens. Swung by the potion's classroom too," he added with a wink and a grin. "Got a surprise for ya." "I-I had n-nothing to do with it," Peter rushed as if that would save him any grief should they be caught. Sirius just rolled his eyes and pulled him onward as he headed for James and Lily, obviously expecting Remus to follow. "Snatched a few Wideeye potions from the stores while Slughorn was distracted," Sirius admitted, still grinning proudly.
Stranger: Remus laughed softly, shaking his head as he followed them over towards James and Lily. "You're gonna get caught one day, you know?" he said teasingly. "I'd be nervous if Slughorn's rage came down on me, man. He's old but I can tell he's gotta temper." He stifled a yawn into his arm, and let out a puff of air. "I have so much course work to get done tonight." He frowned.
Stranger: [hey im jumping in the shower rq I'll be like. less than ten minutes]
You: "Well my luck hasn't run out yet," Sirius teased lightly. "Oi! James! Stop making pillow eyes at Lilly and get a move on!" Sirius called out to his friend with a laugh before focusing back on Remus. "Luckily for you, of course. Otherwise who would be here to pick you up when you need it ah? Peter?" he teased, elbowing the chubby boy in the ribs. "I-I... T-thats not..." "Relax Peter. I'm only teasing, lighten up."
You: [[Take your time. If we get disconnected I'll be under the tag spootilious]]
Stranger: [back! just gotta get like dried off[
You: [[wb]]
Stranger: Remus watched Sirius for a moment, shaking his head. "Maybe James?" he offered, snorting softly. As they approached, James flipped Sirius off, focusing back on Lily for a moment. "--Did we skip Transfigurations just to watch you talk to some lass?"
You: "No offense, Lilly," Sirius added as if as an after thought. He was a brave and reckless boy sure but he knew better than to piss off a woman, especially on that was such a talented witch. "You could do better than this sod," he teased lightly practically jumping into James' lap and ruffling his hair.
Stranger: "Yes, absolutely no offense," Remus agreed, nodding. Lily just let out a soft laugh. "Of course. Why'd we all come out here, James, did you want to go show off on that broom of yours?" she prodded at his side. Remus sat down heavily, a small grunt escaping him with the hard movement.
You: Sirius's gaze followed Remus' movements and despite his outward jovial appearance, worry lined his eyes. Typically he would have wrestled with James a bit, mock flirting with him, but as it was he allowed the other boy to shove him from his lap, depositing him next to Remus with a grunt of his own. "Rude," Sirius mock pouted but shifted back a bit to give himself room. He laid out the cloth, sweets still piled in the middle. Without hesitation he took two from the top and offered one out to Remus before shoving the other in his mouth.
Stranger: He didn't even want to know how completely like shit he must look like. And tomorrow, he would be concealing his bruised and battered body just like he did every day after a full moon. He glanced over at Sirius as he laid out the pile of sweets and pastries. He smiled, softly, and took the offered treat. "Thanks," he said softly, taking a bite. He let out a long sigh, and leaned his head on the man's shoulder, puffing out a breath.
You: Sirius tried to be as still as possible for the other man, only moving to reach into his robes and produce the small vile of wideeye potion he promised. Peter sank down next to the two reaching for a few sweets of his own. He may have refused to admit his part in the thievery, but he had no quarrel about partaking in the spoils. Sirius wouldn't admit it but his anxiety regarding Remus odd behavior had skyrocketed upon the sight of him and wasn't getting any better.
Stranger: Remus offered a small smile, and took the vial from the man. He twirled it in between his fingers, he uncorked it, and grimaced for a moment before he took it like a firewhiskey shot, closing his eyes tight and shuddering. "Oh, that's so gross."
Stranger: [brb!]
You: Sirius couldn't help but chuckle at the words. "I've caught you snogging Prevel Martin. I'm sure it can't be worse than that!" he countered making the group laugh, though his own didn't quite reach his eyes. They were still pinned to Remus, dark and calculating, as he tried to piece together the puzzle before him.
Stranger: "That was a dare!" he cried, elbowing him in the side. He could feel the effects of the potion almost instantly, though he was still full of his aches. He could feel how tired his eyes were, but the potion buzzed away inside of him and kept the open. His eyes flickered over and met Sirius's gaze, and he let out a puff of breath. "What, were you just upset it wasn't you?"
You: Sirius tensed in surprise at the sudden retort, forcing his grin wider to try and hide the blush. "Oh, yeah. I've always dreamed of snogging that ugly mug of yours," he teased. "Sounds more like a nightmare," Peter added around a mouth full of food. Sirius just laughed harder.
Stranger: Remus snorted softly and grabbed another pastry, kicking his boot out towards Peter playfully. "Aye, just you wait, bastards. Give me a year or two and I'll be taller than James."
You: "Pfft, not likely," Sirius scoffed playfully before turning towards James. "I'm suppose to be in transfiguration right now. Whats up? Or did you just want to bore us again with another one of your rants about Muggle studies again?"
Stranger: Remus scrunched his nose up and rolled his eyes, before he snuck another treat, eyes turning to James. "Yeah, what is it?" James looked affronted and scoffed. "What, a guy can't just ask his mates and-- his uh. non-mate." a glance to Lily. "To come and hang out and skip class?"
You: Sirius snorted at that. "Sure you can, but I think I rather be learning how to turn into a dragon than to have to stare at your ugly mug," he replied, sticking out his tongue. "You can't transfigure into a dragon," Peter commented absently reaching for another treat. "Says you! I bet I could turn into Norwegian Ridgeback by the end of the year if I wasn't skipping class!" he grinned, pointedly looking at James and knowing full well it wasn't the truth.
Stranger: Remus quirked a brow at him. "Actually, not possible. Not a dragon, at least," he nodded. He glanced towards James. "What was that thing we were reading last week? Animagus?" he questioned. "You can turn into an animal, but like. I think it has to be within a certain size."
You: "A baby dragon then," Sirius shrugged before James could answer. "Enough to breath fire and do some damage at least." "Yeah and probably shit everywhere," James laughed. "Good, another job for Finch and his cat," Sirius laughed.
You: *Filch
Stranger: Remus laughed, but it sounded distant even to himself. James looked over at the other lads and quirked a brow. "Shit aren't they covering Wolves and shit in Creatures today? What if you could turn into one of them?"
You: Sirius' smile faded a bit at the question. What was with all this talk about wolves? "I dunno, wolves are just vicious dogs right? I think I would rather be a regular one. Lounge about all day, get fat on treats, swarmed by women all the time." "Sniffing butts," James added with an arched brow. "Hey, don't knock it 'til you try it," Sirius countered.
Stranger: James laughed loudly. "But no, like, hear me out. You could scare the fuck out of any of your friends, if you like. Showed up at their house as a massive fucking wolf. Like would you shit yourself right there?"
You: "I dunno," Sirius continued. "I still think a dragon would be better. What do you think Remus?" he asked turning towards his best friend.
Stranger: Remus blinked a couple of times, and forced another laugh from himself. "Uh. Maybe a rabbit," he said lamely, clearing his throat. He ran a hand through his hair, and he suddenly did not feel very great at all, his stomach churning uneasily.
You: Sirius hesitated as he watched the color begin to drain from his friend's skin. "Don't rabbits mate like crazy?" he asked trying to hide his concern. "I always knew you had a promiscuous side," he teased. "Either way, it won't matter what we want to turn into if we don't learn how," he pointed out, pushing to his feet.
Stranger: The man cleared his throat, letting out a long breathe and tried to stop the queasy feeling. Almost as bad as the bone and joint aches, he hates the nausea that comes along with it, as the full moon ticked closer and closer. "James could probably find the book with the animagus spell in it." he murmured. "I uh. I have a ton of homework to do, and I have a feeling I'll...be falling asleep early tonight. I should get it done."
You: Sirius offered out a hand to help the other up. "Nah, I bet he's too distracted making eyes at Lily," Sirius teased, fluttering his lashes at the girl playfully. "Right, Lily?"
Stranger: Lily snapped out of her little world with James, a blush coming across her cheeks. "What? Oh, um--" she glanced over at James. "Nobody is making eyes at anyone."
You: "Ha! Right! Whatever you say, Lily," Sirius chuckled before making a kissing face towards them both. "You guys don't do anything I wouldn't do," he teased with a wink, "I think I'm gonna walk Remus to his next class before he collapses on himself."
Stranger: Lily rolled her eyes and flipped him off as well, something she had picked up from James no doubt. Remus glanced up as he was mentioned, and frowned. "I'm not gonna collapse. Wide awake, see?"
You: Sirius paid Remus no mind as he pulled him a long, calling over his shoulder. "James you're a bad influence on her!" he laughed just as they turned the corned and were suddenly on their own. Sirius let his smile fade now that they didn't have an audience though he didn't speak, unsure of what to say.
Stranger: Remus grumbled but sighed, following Sirius. He let him get pulled along, his bag swinging over his shoulder. When they were out of sight, the man glanced over his shoulder. "They're insane ,the lot of them.."
You: "Might as well include us in that lot as well, Remus," Sirius pointed out before shooting the man a side glance. "You're hiding something, aren't you?" he asked deciding that a blunt approach would be best.
Stranger: "I'm hardly insane." he puffed a breath out. "I'm the sanest one around." At the accusation, Remus stopped in his steps, and he frowned. "What would I be hiding."
You: Sirius turned to him, studying the bags under his eyes and his exhausted features. "That's what I would like to know," he countered, "You obvious haven't slept, you're moody, and you know enough about charms that if it were something as simple as a bad dream you would have taken care of it by now," Sirius pointed out, crossing his arms over his chest, "Exams aren't for a few months and-" he paused, realization striking, a devilish smile spreading across his lips. "You've been sneaking out, haven't you?! Who is she? Couldn't be a Gryffindor or you wouldn't be up all night... Is it that Hufflepuff girl I always see trailing after you? What was her name? Levy? Levi? Lindsye?" he pretended to stumbled over the girl in question, knowing full well her name was Lauraine, not wanting Remus to think that he pays far too much attention to him.
Stranger: Remus felt like he was going to throw up for real now. He sucked in a breath and rolled his eyes, pushing a hand through his hair. "Fuck man, maybe I just had a bad night sleep, okay?" he frowned. "I get -- insomnia sometimes. I don't like to take potions all the time because I don't think it's good for you ." he felt his face heat up at the insinuation that he was hooking up with a Hufflepuff, and he groaned, covering his face with his hands. "Sirius, shut the hell up. Please." he shook his head. "I'm not--I'm not sneaking out with some girl."
You: "Some guy then?" Sirius shrugged, his grin broadening to hide his sudden wave of jealousy. "Hey, I'm not one to judge, we're mates regardless of who you decide to shack up with." He moved to loop his arm around Remus' and start walking again. "No reason to get cranky about it."
Stranger: Remus let out a shaky breath. "I'm not shaking up with some guy, either," he groaned. "I'm--" he paused for a long moment, trying to come up with something on the spot. "I'm taking extra lessons with Gonny. At night, when everyone's asleep. Not a lot, just like. Every couple weeks. She's.. helping me learn some higher level charms and stuff."
You: "Oh," Sirius mumbled a bit put out, but far more relieved than anything. "Wait... why do you need to know higher charms? I mean, I get that you're talented and all, but that's a bit excessive and why would you keep that a secret?" he asked absently, brows furrowing as he attempted to work it all out.
Stranger: He shrugged. "She didn't want the other students getting jealous." He explained, frowning. "I just. Was curious, and thought about maybe going into a job with the Ministry with it, so." he cleared his throat. "And she likes that I'm a hard worker, so she was willing to teach me. If you want to join you can go ask her, but--"
You: "Brilliant! I could use some extra studies in Charms. If I'm gonna become an Aura I have to get Outstanding on the OWLS and I only got Exceeds, but I was talking to Peter earlier and they're letting him retake his. Maybe they'll let me retake mine!" Sirius chimed, beaming with excitement as he pulled away from his mate. "I'm going to see if I can speak to the Headmaster about the exams. Meet you in the common room after supper?" He called already hurrying down the corridor.
Stranger: Remus opened his mouth in surprise at Sirius's willingness to take up extra charms and transfiguration lessons, and he looked surprised. But before he could even make a rebuttal, Sirius was off. "Fuck," he groaned, and shook his head, trying to race to Minerva's office to go and tell him what he had done. Besides Dumbledore, she was the only person that knew what he was. He best go ask her if they could start up some random charms practice now and then.
You: [[Quick questions (srry just want to make sure I don't overstep): Do you have a preference on how you want this to go or do you just want to wing it? Are you wanting to do the scene with Minerva or Dumbledore or skip to that even? I figured with Sirius it could go two ways either they tell him yes but he didn't talk to the charms prof so he shows up just all like 'hi! ready to go to charms, mate?!' or he figures out somethings off and there is no extra charms and he confronts Remus about lying to him. ]]
Stranger: [[ooh lets maybe do the lying ]
Stranger: [and uh. lets skip the scenes with Dumbledore and minerva]
You: [[Ooo ^.^ yay I was hoping you'd go with the lying >:3 ]]
Stranger: <3]
You: Sirius managed to attend the rest of his classes though he seemed a bit stand offish whenever he caught sight of Remus or James and Peter for that matter. He didn't bother showing up for dinner either. In fact, it wasn't until they were to meet in the Gryffindor common room that he showed his face. His usual smile was absent, replaces by pursed lips as he studied Remus silently for a moment. It seemed as if the dark haired man wasn't going to speak at first, but eventually he let out a heavy sigh. "Charms, huh?" he asked evenly, a brow arching as he pinned Remus with a dark stare, waiting for his next excuse.
Stranger: brb!!]
Stranger: Remus wasn't able to find Mcgonogall all afternoon. In her study, in class -- He finally had to give up to try and find her. He needed to get some homework done. He finished out his classes and was immediately kept up in the common room the rest of the night, hurriedly scrawling away, watching the clock tick away. The moon would be at it's highest point by 9pm, which meant he needed to leave by 8pm to get himself hidden in the shrieking shack. He glanced up as he felt the gaze of someone on him, and he parted his lips. "I--um. What?" he asked weakly. He only had twenty minutes before he had to leave.
You: "Don't play dumb Remus, its not a good look on you," Sirius grumbled, crossing his arms. "You lied to me! We're suppose to be best mates! Best mates don't lie to one another!" he snapped, losing a bit of his temper.
Stranger: Remus snapped his mouth close and let out a shaky breath. "I--" he stammered, and made another glance at the clock. "You're right." he nodded quickly. "I'm. seeing that Hufflepuff girl. Lauraine." he said quickly. "I didn't want to get the same shit that James gets for Lily because she's.. shy."
You: "Bullshit," Sirius snapped without hesitation. "You know the only reason I give James hell about Lily is because Lily is just as much a mate as he is. You are also a horrible liar..." he hesitated, something similar to pain crossing his features. "or at least I thought you were. Whatever you're hiding Remus... I hope its worth it," he spat, his anger returning full force as he gave the other boy a shove.
Stranger: Remus really didn't have the energy in him so close to the moon. When Sirius shoved him, he knocked back hard into the corner of the table, letting out a little yelp. "Maybe just mind your own business," he huffed out through a grimace. "If I wanted you to know, then I'd tell you."
You: "Last I checked, you are my business!" Sirius growled, kicking the chair between them out of the way. "At least, if we're best mates, it is... but then again, apparently... we're not," he added his voice lowering once more. "My mistake."
You: [[brb]]
Stranger: [nw]
Stranger: Remus backed away from the man, moving to start shoving his papers and books back into his bag. "I don't have to tell you everything about me, Sirius. Just. Drop it, okay?" he huffed out a long breath, swinging his bag over his shoulder. "I have to go."
Stranger: brb]
You: "No, of course, not! Why would you?!" Sirius snapped at him. "Go then! I'm not stopping you! It's not like I could even if I tried, obviously! Just don't expect me to come looking for you when you're late for class in the morning... or when you need another potion! I would hate to assume you needed me for anything."
Stranger: Remus felt a hard shudder run through his body, and he doubled over briefly. He glanced at the clock and puffed a breath. Why was he-- the moon didn't finish for another hour, at least. It dawned on him, there, that he forgot to account for the time change. He made a noise in his throat, hands shaking. "I'm--I'm sorry, I have to go." he said, and bolted from the common room.
You: Sirius' hesitated as he watched Remus falter, his anger and hurt forgotten. "Remus!" he jerked forward, intent on giving the man a hand but he was already bolting down the corridor leading towards the stairs. "Remus!" Sirius called after him, a spike of worry joining the concoction of emotions swirling inside him. He paused for a breath... another... before he realized what he was doing he was half way down the stairs, barely managing to keep the other boy in his sights.
Stranger: Remus was shaking, feeling his breath coming out hard, his bones aching inside of his skin. He had to pause, once, as another hard shudder rippled through him, before he was staggering towards the hidden passage behind the statue. He heard Sirius calling behind him, and just hoped he could keep out of his eye sight. Sirius couldn't be there for him, it was too dangerous.
You: "Remus wait!" Sirius called again, the words coming out breathless as he hurried down the stairs, catching a glimpse of the other boy just as he ducked behind one of the statues. Sirius didn't hesitate to follow, blindly following at this point. Whatever Remus was hiding was more than just some silly secret between friends that much was obvious now. But whatever it /was/, judging by the shaking and cries coming from the other boy was painful and possibly dangerous. Sirius had heard of some slytherins selling gillyweed and waking death to other students for kicks but... he had never pinned Remus as one to partake in something so dangerous. Now, however, he couldn't be so sure.
Stranger: Remus could feel the blood rushing in his ears, drowning out all other sounds. He made it to the statue, ducking behind it and entering the hidden passage. It was mostly dirt, dug through what had to be centuries ago, making his way under Hogwarts and towards the shrieking shack. He just needed to get there, then he could -- he could let the shift finish. A strained whimper came from his throat, seeing the door in sight. He reached to yank it open, clambering out. He fell to his hands and knees onto the old, rotting, wooden floor of the shack, gasping for air. He could feel the howl starting to catch in his throat.
You: Sirius slid to a stop in front of the small tunnel, heart sinking. He hated tight spaces... They were worse than boggarts... He shifted from one foot to another before he managed enough courage to dive in, doing his best to focus on the way Lupin had sounded, the way he had shivered. His friend needed him whether he knew it or not and Sirius was sure as hell going to- A howl broke through the sound of his trembling breaths making him pause, glancing up at the small bit of moonlight at the end of the tunnel. Remus wasn't alone! Something was there! He had to get to him! "Remus!!!!" He called desperately, doubling his efforts as he crawled through the tight space. "Remus! I'm coming!"
Stranger: [agsjldf sorry im helping boyfriend w/ dinner so lots of back and forth. we can always move to email or discord if its easier. brb]
You: [[No worries! I gotta get my son to bed anyways. Discord is still working for me but I would love to continue via email when we have to cut off if that's cool. I would hate to lose ya. Good Rp partners are so hard to come by.]]
Stranger has disconnected.

Derek Hale x Plus size!reader
Word Count: 1641 words
Warnings: none
Summary: Reader is Derek’s alpha mate. She doesn’t like his tough love approach toward their betas and wants him to have a little bit of a lighter touch.
———————————————————————————————————
Derek Hale never thought that he would fall in love at all, led alone with another alpha. It wasn't common for two alphas to become bonded to one another because it created a bit of a power struggle. Which, as it would turn out, is the truth. You and Derek were constantly arguing, about everything from where to eat dinner to what you wanted to do at any given time.
...But there was nothing you two argued about more than how to run your pack. It had been easy when you each had a respective pack but that wasn't the case anymore. Now everything you did was equal, you shared responsibilities when it came to selecting your betas and teaching them the way to survive in their new lifestyles.
Derek was the alpha male, sure, but you weren't going to let that sway you from taking control over some aspects of the rearing. It wasn't in your nature to just fall at the sidelines and listen to what some man had to say, you'd been your own alpha for way too long to stop now.
Nowhere was this more evident than right now, you had your broad hip cocked out to the side, your eyes locked on where Derek was sitting. You were now a few feet from Isaac and Erika, both laying in puddles on the concrete, probably nursing multiple broken bones that wouldn't heal right if you didn't set them back in place.
You were not happy with your husband right now, staring at him with narrow eyes, thinking over how you wanted to address this issue.
He'd kept it a secret from you. He wanted to start getting his betas trained properly and prepared for the impending full moon, but he knew you wouldn't approve of his methods, the ones his mother had used on him, so he left you out of it.
You couldn't blame him, you would have done the same thing if you had thought about it first but it didn't matter who was first because right now, you were beyond pissed. He had no right to put your betas through something they were in no way ready for without consulting you first.
You'd been an alpha for far longer than Derek had, and in this regard, you thought that maybe your opinion should have some weight but it was clear he didn't feel the same.
So, you just kept looking at him, waiting for someone to explain what was going on, which Boyd tried his hardest to get down from whatever little obstacle course he'd built for them.
It didn't surprise you that Derek would go behind your back this way, but you had trouble believing it. Normally, you two were a unit, even if you did have to argue first but you weren't feeling that unity right now.
"What do you think you're doing?" you asked, your words more aggressive than you meant for them to be, though you didn't even think about stifling it or apologizing. There really was no need to answer your question, but Derek knew better than that.
He slowly stood from the floor and walked over to you, ignoring the pool of broken teenagers behind him. "I didn't think you would come out here: Derek grumbled, as if it was your fault for coming to look for him.
You were so upset that you couldn't even look at him, instead turning your attention to Isaac and Erika on the floor. It was painfully clear that you had come in at just the right time.
If they weren't careful, their bones would set wrong and they wouldn't be able to continue training tomorrow after breaking them back into their joints.
"Get up!" you ordered, moving past Derek completely without looking back. The words were clearly aimed at Isaac, who you had to help stand up on his rocked ankles.
"How long have you been here?" you wondered, you understood that there was no real damage done to them, but that didn't make you any less upset. Just because your betas couldn't actually be hurt or damaged severely by training with Derek, didn't mean he could push them as hard as he wanted.
Erika shrugged, wrapping an arm under Isaac's shoulder to help steady him. You were so angry with your mate, your eyes flashing bright red for a moment before you calmed yourself hurriedly.
Derek could practically see the steam rolling off of you, and he knew he was in trouble. The second you turned on your heels toward him, he froze. Derek was an alpha yes, but not like you. You were born an alpha, which meant you had more power then he did naturally.
"Can I have a word with you Derek?" you asked, your tone was deceivingly sweet, considering he could see how angry you were with him. He nodded, thought he didn't have much of a choice in the action considering you'd taken his forearm captive at some point in the conversation.
You two rarely argued and didn't have much cause to fight normally but the way you were raising your pack was a real point of contention, it always had been.
"What are you doing Derek? they're still too new at this to be going through boot camp" you huff, you agreed that they would have to be trained at some point but all three of them; Erika, Boyd, and Isaac were all inside their first full month.
-"They can handle it" he tried, normally that would have been enough to convince you that he knew what he was doing, but not after what you'd just seen.
Derek was trying to convince both himself and everyone around him that he was a good alpha. His concern wasn't for the teenagers he was grilling. "They can't Der, they're just kids, they aren't like us" you had a point.
You didn't even mean because you were alphas, you were talking about time. You and Derek had been dealing with transitions and pains and shifts since you were teenagers. You bodies were used to the strain they were constantly under and you were sturdy, you could handle it.
Your betas had just started and their systems were probably in shock over what was happening to them. They were in a time of intense healing but that didn't give Derek the right to push them to their limit this early on.
"Okay, I'll be more careful with them, but you have to give them more credit-they're strong" Derek tried, he was probably right and you weren't a fan in all honesty. Your parents had raised you on tough love just as Derek's had, and you didn't want to be that way with your pack.
Those three teens hadn't had enough love in their lives and you'd gotten a chance to change that, so you wanted to give them a little time before the tough love set in.
"Thank you, now go gather them up" you suggested, waving back toward where you'd left the three of them. Derek had no idea what you had planned for them but did as you suggested anyway, asking the teens to join you in the other room.
They looked just as confused as Derek had upon entering the room. Luckily, you didn't let them struggle for too long. "How would you guys like to go get some ice cream?" you hummed, titling  your head slightly as you glanced toward them.
It was a strange suggestion, especially after they'd been undergoing grueling training all day long but regardless of that, they accepted your offer. A break would be nice after such a long, tiring day.
So off you went, like the strange, most non-conventional little werewolf family you were, to the ice cream parlor down the street. It had been a favorite of yours growing up and you were anxious to share it with the betas.
There was something naturally appealing about an ice cream parlor for werewolves. The scent of sugar and assorted sweets swirled about in the air and made you all feel much better about the day.
You could tell that Derek wasn't particularly exciting about having to be out and about with his betas this close to the full moon just to spend some time with them but he wasn't going to disagree with you.
"Are you upset with me Derek?" you wondered, thinking about what in the world may be going on in his head. You two were closer than anyone else, and you wanted him to open up to you if you'd upset him this morning.
You two may have different ideals about your pack but that didn't mean you didn't love him any less. "I could never be upset with you, but are you sure ice cream was the best idea?" he teased, though you could tell he was nervous.
Derek didn't like the idea of having the betas out and about when the affects of the moon could hit them at any time, but he was overlooking one critical detail. "They can handle an hour Derek, they have to have time to be kids...not just betas" you reminded, this time with a smile on your face.
As if looking for something to prove you wrong, Derek's eyes flicked to the three of them where they were in line for another cone. They were all laughing and carrying on just like any other group of teenagers would and as nervous as he was, Derek couldn't help but crack a slight smile.
"Fine, they can be kids tonight, and betas tomorrow" he allowed, grinning at you before leaning down to press a gentle kiss on you face. It didn't matter how often Derek fought with you about stuff, in the end you would always find a common ground.
