Motel California

Isaac Lahey x Plus size!reader
Word Count: 3174 words
Warnings: takes place around Season 3, Episode 6 (of the same name)
Summary: Scott asking you to room with Isaac at the Motel Glen Capri, which seems a lot more difficult than maybe it should.
—————————————————————————————————
You couldn’t believe Scott was doing this to you.
“It would just make me feel better if he was keeping an eye on you” he shrugged, already more than paranoid with the twins so close, and the wound aching in his side that had taken far too long to heal than it should have.
It wasn’t a big deal.
He just didn’t want you to be in any kind of danger if it could be avoided.
Lydia was rooming with Allison, who could take out anyone or anything with her eyes closed,  naturally he was bunking with Stiles, and  it only made sense that you stay with Isaac.
That way, all of Scott’s boxes would be checked, and everyone would be accounted for, and protected.
Still, as much sense as that made, it didn’t make the idea of spending all night in the same room as Isaac any easier to accept.  You two had hardly spoken since you broke up, and Scott knew that better than anyone.
You weren’t even sure the two of you would be able to maintain a conversation, and because of that, there was no way of knowing how it would go.
Not that you really had much of a say in the matter.
Scott had already made up his mind.
The things you were dealing with were bigger than any one member of the pack, and there was no avoiding that. Just because you, Lydia, Allison, and Stiles weren’t werewolves didn’t mean that you were in any less danger than they were.
It just meant that you were less prepared to defend yourself against them, and Scott couldn’t help but worry about all of you.
It was his job.
“What are they really going to do?” you whispered back, eyeing Ethan incredulously, as if something awful would happen right there before your eyes to provide some kind of reason for his paranoia.
Ethan was the only one who had come on this cross country trip, likely due to the state Ennis had been left in but that was exactly where Scott was losing you.
He was the only member of the alpha pack not currently  in the vicinity, and to you, that meant that  you were all safe, at least, for now.
…but Scott wasn’t so convinced.
The exact thing that was making you so sure that nothing was going to happen was the same thing convincing Scott to prepare as if it would.
After all, Ethan being the only one on the trip may have given you some amount of comfort, but to him, it meant that the rest of the alpha pack was unaccounted for. They could have been anywhere, doing anything.
Naturally, that made the true alpha a little nervous., and he just wanted to make sure that his family was safe
You couldn’t blame him for that.
No matter how much you may have wanted to right now.
“I don’t know, but I have to prepare for everything”  he countered, taking the keys from Stiles and shooting you one last reassuring smile before heading toward the Motel Glen Capri, the jankiest hotel you’d ever seen.
It was old and offputting, but given the options, it was far better than spending the night in a bus  that still smelled vaguely like puke and body odor.
“So, I guess we’re roomies,” Isaac hummed,  the smug look on his face that told you just how insufferable he was planning on making this whole experience.
You had been so worried about why Scott was so adamant that you didn’t even give the blonde in question a second thought.
Until right now.
“Yeah, I guess so”  you allowed,  choosing to ignore how close he’d chosen to stand to you and turning your attention to the motel instead.
It was hardly nice, but it was getting dark and as awful as the motel looked, you were sure that it was worse out here in the dark.
There was no telling what was lurking around in the dark and you would have been crazy to stay put.
Even with a werewolf by your side.
“Scared of the dark?” Isaac scoffed, taking note of the strange edge you were giving off,  without even meaning to.  It was something he’d never really known you to have an issue with before now, and it caught him off guard.
Not that you saw it that way.
Naturally, after everything you two had gone through, you assumed he was ridiculing you so you only sighed, grabbing your duffle and swinging it over your shoulder.
Rather than acknowledge his question, and general presence, you set your mind to getting inside before the sun fell from the sky anymore than it already had.
Anything was better than focusing on Isaac.
Who, given the circumstances, was just lapping this up.
“How about I trade you?”  he offered, taking the bag from your shoulder and dropping the room key into your waiting hand instantly, before heading in that direction without a second thought.
He was clearly going to milk this for everything it was worth, and you could already tell he was going to get on your nerves.
It was the exact reason you’d been avoiding him before now.
Still, you knew that knowing you were both accounted for and taken care of was more important to Scott than anything and given everything he’d done for you, you couldn’t bring yourself to go against that.
Even with as much as Isaac’s presence here made you want to rip your hair out.
You didn’t speak again until you entered the hotel room, at which point you realized just how bad this whole thing really was.
You couldn’t help but let your nose scrunch up as you took it all in.
The decor wasn’t as bad as you’d been expecting, given the outer shell the motel presented, but the smell certainly didn’t disappoint.
The air was stale, and  if you had to guess, you would have said the carpet was  either mildewed, hadn’t been replaced in the last forty years, or both.
“Oh wow” you choked out,  holding your hand up to your nose as soon as it hit you, earning an earnest chuckle from Isaac when he met your side.
Once again, you had been so preoccupied with your thoughts that you didn’t even give the male a second thought as he followed you into the room, finding obvious enjoyment in your disgust.
“If you think it’s bad, you should try it with super senses,” he grinned, making his way over to the window as swiftly as he could to open it, in hopes that perhaps,by the time it was time for bed, it would be a little better.
This place could definitely use the fresh air.
“I think I’ll pass,”  you shrugged, taking your bag from him and throwing it on the bed. You had no intention of unpacking in this place, but at the very least, you figured you could get out of these grubby clothes.
It was bad enough that you’d been stuck on that bus this whole time, but now, you had to deal with this stuff too.
It just felt like you were trapped in all the ick from the past couple hours, and you desperately wanted to get it off, but it wasn’t just that.  A shower would also give you some time to yourself, without Isaac looking over your shoulder.
….and you weren’t about to pass that up.
There was a time when you couldn’t have imagined any space between you and Isaac ever feeling right but now, you couldn’t wait to get away from him.
You just weren’t ready to talk about it.
You weren’t sure you’d ever be ready to talk about it.
“I’m gonna shower”  you sighed, trying to figure out what you wanted to say  without even meaning to, and thankfully, Isaac didn’t bother to comment.
Just because you weren’t a couple anymore didn’t mean he was suddenly going to be blind to all your obvious physical cues.
He couldn't have ignored them if he tried.
“I'm gonna see if I can find the vending machine” he muttered, gesturing to the door so that you’d know what he meant before he headed out, slamming the door behind him.
Isaac figured that if he was hungry, you probably were too, and he wasn’t about to pass up an excuse to get out of that room.
As it would turn out, it was just as awkward for him as it was for you, even though he was doing a better job of hiding just how much it was affecting him.
You only nodded, doing your best to be as normal as you could given the strange circumstances but by this point, you didn’t see it happening.
You just had no idea what to say to him, and he wasn’t much better.
It didn’t help that neither of you had really dealt with any of your issues or the breakup in general since it happened.
It was just so much easier to pretend none of it had ever happened, so that was what you were going to do.
After you got a shower, that was.
The water in the shower smelled almost as rank as the room itself but you did your best not to complain.  Instead, you chose to focus on the warm water, willing it to help you ignore everything else.
Again, you couldn’t help but sigh as you thought over the situation you’d found yourself in. You had no idea how this was going to go and at the end of the day, you weren’t even sure why you cared.
Isaac had practically abandoned you when he turned, and again when his father died. It just felt like he was always distant, always somewhere you couldn’t be, and always away from you.
Eventually you got tired of it, and had to move on with your life.
However, as it had been known to do,Beacon Hills had found a way to rope you in again when Scott had to save you from the monster you’d come to realize was the Kanima.  After that, you couldn’t just pretend it didn’t happen.
….and now, you were a part of it, but you and Isaac had never really fixed what was broken.
Sure, now you knew what it was that was so important to him, that you couldn’t know about, but knowing didn’t make it all better.
If anything, it just proved to you how much more important this was to him than you’d ever been.
You could have accepted it, could have helped him, but instead, he chose to always leave you out and at the end of the day, there was no changing that.
It just was what it was, and there was no use torturing yourself over it.
You’d heard the motel door open and close a few minutes ago, but when you came back into the room from the bathroom, Isaac was nowhere to be found.
He’d been back at some point, because there were cheetos, snickers, and skittles discarded on the dresser and the tv was on, though it was simply blaring static.
“Isaac? If this is some kind of prank, it isn’t funny” you called out, already irritated.  If he thought this was funny, he was delusional.
After everything recently with the alpha pack and Derek, this was about as far from funny as anything could have been, but you sort of hoped he was hiding in the closet or something. The alternative was just too terrifying to consider.
Of course, no answer came which was more than enough to bother you but you did your best to maintain your composure, turning off the tv and searching the room as best you could.
Though, it wasn’t until you looked under the bed that you found him, curled up in a tight ball and shaking.
Which, naturally, was cause for concern.
“What the hell are you doing?” You sighed, still assuming that he was pulling some kind of a prank on you, or just being an asshole for the fun of it, but whatever he was doing, it didn’t stop .
No matter what you said, or did, Isaac wouldn’t move from his place or even acknowledge that you were in front of him.
It was like he was in some kind of trance, and you couldn’t get him out of it.
~
The  whole thing was a mess.
Eventually, Scott and Stiles came around to fix everything as they so often did with a handful of road flares and the news that this place was driving werewolves out of their minds, but you didn’t care about any of that.
Whatever it was about this place that was making them go all haywire wasn’t your concern.
All you cared about was that everybody was okay, at least, physically.
“What do we do? What can we do?” you immediately started, already shaken up as it was.
You had experienced Isaac’s panic attacks before, and talked him down from nightmares, but whatever that was, it wasn’t a nightmare.
It was something else.
Something worse.
“Allison is going to go find Scott, we’ll look for Boyd, and you stay here with him” Stiles decided, thinking quickly on his feet to cover all the ground that needed to be covered before leading Lydia out of the room.
There wasn’t time.
After seeing what Ethan had almost done with that handsaw, there was no telling what could go wrong. Somebody was going to get killed if they didn’t act fast, and that meant that whatever you could do, you had to do.
Even if it was difficult.
You, and this pack, you were a team and you all had to do your part to figure things out, especially when it came to things like this.
So, you decided to stay put.
Just because they had managed to get Isaac relatively settled down didn’t mean it was going to stay that way, meaning that Stiles was right. The best thing you could do for the pack right now was watch out for him.
…and lucky for you both, that was something you’d been really good at once upon a time.
You were quiet at first, choosing to sit down on the bed opposite the one Isaac was currently sitting on. It didn’t feel right to just jump right into a conversation given the circumstances.
Though, after the motel door was closed and the silence enveloped you both, you decided you didn’t have a choice but to talk to him.
Isaac could really get into his head and even if this whole thing had been one isolated event, you knew that the feelings it had brought out of him were real.
This wasn’t the first time you'd been in this position with him.
“How are you feeling?” you asked, hoping that he would tell you if he needed something. When the two of you first started dating, it took him forever to let you in but you couldn’t help but wish he still would.
Not that you could blame him if he didn’t want to tell  you.
A lot had happened since you’d been alone like this, especially under such strange circumstances, and you didn’t want to risk crossing some invisible boundary; for your sake and Isaacs.
Of course, he didn’t answer you right away, his head too far away to have even really realized you’d spoken.
All he could think about right now was that stupid freezer, and whatever it was about this place that had brought that out of him.
It never happened like that, out of the blue, without anything to trigger it.
“Isaac? Are you okay?” You hummed, deciding to move over from your bed to the one he was currently perched on, your hand falling on his shoulder gently to shake him out of his thoughts.
He was going to drive himself insane if he didn’t talk to you, or at least get it all out of his head. The things he was fighting with were deep rooted and intense, and you could only imagine how hard this was for him to relive.
Even if you weren’t quite sure why it was happening.
“I’ll be fine” he whispered, after what felt like a lifetime passed, the words little more than a breathy allowance than anything else.
It was hard.
You knew that he was right, and that eventually he would get a handle on it, but that didn’t make it any harder to accept.
You didn’t like how much he’d been forced to struggle at the hands of his own father. It wasn’t right, and it never had been.
The two of you sat there for a moment more in silence, just trying to take in the almost eerie quiet within the room.
It would have almost been peaceful, if it hadn’t been so unsettling.
“Are you okay?” Isaac spoke again, realizing that during that lull in conversation, you two had sort of just been staring at one another, in a way that you didn’t really do anymore.
In fact, it had been a really long time since you were this close at all.
It was awkward, but what was bothering you most was how it felt both comfortable and tense, all at once.
Like you could lean in or run for the hills at any second.
“I think so” you shrugged, not really sure where to go from here. You felt like you should probably go back to your own bed, now that he’d shaken his catatonic state, but you couldn’t make yourself move.
It was almost as if you were glued to your spot, right by his side.
“I don’t know”
Really, you didn’t think seeing him in such a state would bring something like that out of you but for some reason, it did. Evidently, it didn’t matter how long you two spent apart, you didn’t have it in you not to care about Isaac.
At least a little bit.
“That’s good” he decided, finally breaking eye contact with you to give the surrounding room a quick glance before his gaze fell on the snickers bar on the dresser.
He’d almost forgotten about that.
Without another word, Isaac got up from his place and snatched the treat from the counter.
“This might help” he offered, tossing you the candy bar without a second thought, convinced that even if neither of you had any idea what you were doing right now, your favorite candy couldn't hurt.
It wasn’t like he was going to eat it, anyway.
Isaac had always been more of a skittles guy.
All you could do was nod in thanks as you caught it, taking in what was ultimately an offer of much more than a simple candy bar. It was an admittance of the thing you both already seemed to know.
That no matter what happened, you were always going to love Isaac Lahey.

Letters to Santa: Derek Hale Imagine
Tumblr media
Imagine volunteering at the elementary school to help the little ones write letters to Santa....
In that moment, he couldn’t tell if he loved you or loathed you more than anyone on the planet.
On the one hand, it was impossibly adorable that you were sitting there with first graders helping them write their letters to Santa.
On the other, he’d stupidly gotten himself put on stamp duty.
Why?
Because he kept calling you phone trying to get ahold of you.
You’d turned it off and put it in your purse because you were busy with 25 six year olds who were hopped up on sugar and Santa crazed
So what does he do?
He fucking tracks you down.
And he’s standing there in the window looking at you.
You’re smattered with glitter and a little paste
A few random snowflake stickers here and there
And he’s amazed
Until he’s snatched into the room and put on stamp duty
Now, he’s sitting there shaking his head and wondering just why in the hell he even bothered, lol.
Heeey, smoochies! I hope you enjoyed this bonus content for Smoochmas! While not full on imagine/stories they are fun little snippets!  If ya like it, please be sure to let me know in the comments and check out my masterlist! Link on profile!

Tumblr media
It was early, the bed was cold on one side despite the sun peaking through the blue curtains covering the windows in the room. A tired sigh escaped my lips as I felt around the empty side of the bed like it would make my boyfriend suddenly reappear in bed with me. Finally pushing myself up and out of the bed I sling on the white button up that he took off before crawling in bed with me the night before.
Stiles, my dear boyfriend, arrived home late last night from the undercover assignment he had been on for the last month. It was so nice having him hold me in his arms again, even if it was shortly since he likes to be the little spoon, which honestly I don’t mind since I get to koala myself around him. Yet since his flight got in so late I didn’t get to see him long when I tiredly welcomed him home as he crawled into bed with me.
Now he wasn’t even in bed in the morning. Leaving our room and padding down to the living room I saw him sitting on the couch with his MacBook on his lap. The plain white t-shirt he had worn to bed looked tighter to his body than it had before, he must have been hitting the gym out of boredom while away. My eyes slowly scanned up from his biceps along his neck to that familiar jawline that was unusually darkened with facial hair still. I bit my lip remembering how that hair sent a shiver down my side the night before as he nuzzled his head into the crook of my neck last night as the softness of his lips pressed against my pulse.
Stepping up to the couch I wrap my arms around him, sliding one hand through the neck hole of the t-shirt to rub his chest. My lips pressed against that spot right below his ear that I know he liked. “Morning,” I whispered. “What are you doing up so early?” His head leaned back against my shoulder, the blonde ends of his hair tickling my cheek. “I have some reports to finish up. I wanted to get them done before you got up.” He explained one hand leaving the keyboard to reach back and caress my face. I smiled down at him and kissed him once more, this time on his neck, before pulling away. “I’ll make us some coffee.”
He placed the laptop aside before carefully and effortlessly pulling me over the back of the couch and into his lap. I let out a squealing laugh as I wrapped my arms around his neck. Stiles buried his face into the crook of my neck peppering kisses along my neck up over my face until his lips met mine. The prickling of his facial hair against the sensitive skin of my neck sent a shiver down my spine.
Warm large hands grip onto my hips anchoring me in place on his lap. Pressure applied by his thumbs reminding me that this is where I belonged. My hands slid up into his hair, fingers combing against his scalp earning the delicious low sound of a groan as my fingers settled into the blonde locks that I had grown to love since the day he sent me the first picture of his undercover look.
“Gosh, this hair is sexy.” I muttered, giving it a gentle but firm pull that drew a warning grown from the man below me as he nipped at my bottom lip. “Easy there babydoll.” His hands slide slowly upwards off my hips. The slightly rough fingers tickled my sides as they moved upwards under the shirt. The warm hands cup my breast giving them a slight squeeze. I bit my lip for a split second before he leaned forward, capturing my mouth in a heated kiss that took my breath away. The type of kiss that made every part of my body ignite in a tingling warmth that centered right in my core. The same core that was seated right over a hardening appendage that I haven’t experienced in what feels like too long.
His touch was so gentle as he removed his hands to remove the shirt I was wearing. His face lowered as soon as the shirt started to slip from my shoulders to capture an erect bud from my chest into his mouth. My breath was stolen from my lips as I gasped at the feeling of his tongue swirling around it. The white button up finally fully fell from my arms as I moved my arms to shrug the fabric away. Stiles leaned back just long enough for him to pull the t-shirt off and toss it to the other end of the couch before his hands landed on my ass with a slight slap that made me yelp at the contact on my covered bottom. Just a thin layer of cotton stood between his hands and my bare skin. Cotton that was slowly becoming damp as Stiles’ forced my hips to rock against the hardened member in his sweatpants. His mouth latched onto that sensitive spot in my neck. Sucking at it until he drew a moan of pleasure from me. A mark was already beginning to form as his mouth moved from that spot back down to suckle at the other breast. His hands felt like hot irons on me as he rocked my body against his.
I slowly pulled away from him in an attempt to remove one of the remaining barriers between our bodies, those darn sweatpants that blocked him from entering me. Stiles must have been thinking the same thing as we both began to remove the remaining clothes both of us were wearing. Clothes now scatter on the couch and discarded on the floor leaving us skin to skin. Stiles' touch was so warm it felt burning hot as he lowered me and slowly thrusted his hips up into me. The familiar stretching of my inner walls to fit him made me moan.
I wrapped my arms around Stiles’ neck playing with the bleached blonde hair as I slowly began to rock my body pulling up just enough to make the head of his cock rub that spot I just couldn’t reach on my own. His lips brushed my jaw as he muttered, “God I missed you babydoll.” His comment punctuated with a breathy groan as his arms wrapped around my waist drawing me flush up against him. As I moaned in pleasure my slightly tangled fingers gently pulled at the strands as I kept a steady pace. Savoring having my man back in more ways than one as his lips peppered soft kisses to my jaw as I leaned my head against his, hair fanned over his face.
With each thrust my moans slowly grew louder as the pleasure built up. Like the winding up of a rubber band ready to snap and release. I wanted to hold off but it was so much that I couldn’t hold it back longer and Stiles was so attuned with me that he knew it too. “You ready babydoll? Going to welcome me home by milking me with that sweet little pussy.” His husky voice rasped into my ear as his hands pushed my hips down against his holding me there. My moan was more of a broken sob as that rubber band inside me snapped and I released clenching against the hardened cock inside me. My head spun in the euphoric aftermath of my orgasm. Just as I was coming down from the high Stiles thrusted up into me one last time before he came.
Our lingering holds on each other loosened as we both caught our breaths. His lips sweetly pressed against mine as he smiled up at me. “That was quite the welcome home,” He laughed softly. I grinned down at him and pressed a kiss to his lips. “Glad you enjoyed it. I missed you, Stiles.” I ran my hand over the locks of hair now standing up from my own doing.
Stiles adjusted his hold on me before he stood up, carrying me, and headed towards our bathroom. Setting me down on the counter he turned to start the water for a relaxing bath that we both sat in for the next thirty minutes before getting out to go meet Sheriff Stilinski for lunch.

One thing I kinda hope the Teen Wolf movie does is mention what the hell happened to Isaac!
The boy just left to France with Argent I think after Allison's death and then we don't see him mentioned on Stiles' chess board when he explains things to his dad.
Like was that meant to be that Isaac was killed??

Honestly I have a bookmark folder just for code.
I was involved in a code based virtual escape room once and kinda just saved all the code websites I used.

Just Scare Him a Little
Summary: Bucky’s girlfriend works in a haunted house, Buck and Sam ask her to scare Peter while still in her costume and makeup, she feels bad and checks on him later taking him candy (everyone lives at avengers tower au)
Word Count: 1285
Characters: Bucky Barnes, Sam Wilson, Peter Parker, Reader (sugar), Steve Rogers (briefly)
Relationship: Bucky x F!Reader
Kippy's Spoopy Saturday's Masterlist
Tumblr media
October was always a fun time of month for sugar. Starting late September she and a team would begin the process of cleaning, decorating, and hiring volunteer actors for a haunted house. Sugar herself was just a teenager the first time she worked at one.
Bucky and Sam were watching a movie when they learned about their spooky loving friend’s holiday job. Sugar walked into the tower, arms full of stage makeup and liquid latex. “Need a little help there, cher?” Sam called out to the woman making her way towards the room she shared with Bucky.
“No, I got it!” She called back. Moments later she would return and take a seat in Bucky’s lap. Her fingers instantly running through his hair. “What did you all buy?” Buck’s curious eyes looked up at her.
“Just some special effects makeup I need for the haunted house.” Sam turned his head interested in what she said. “Haunted house? Like one of those Halloween attractions?” Sugar nods stealing a sip from Bucky’s beer.
“Sugar here is a planner and actor at the haunted house off Main.” Buck proudly informed his best friend. It was also an added bonus that you convinced the coordinators to give a percent of all proceeds to the VA.
“Interesting..” Sam hummed slowly, turning his head back towards the movie that was on.
👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻
The first time Bucky and Sam saw Sugar in full makeup and costume was the second weekend in October. Both men were eating at the kitchen island late one night after just returning from a mission. Sugar walked off the elevator dressed head to toe in the costume, makeup, and contacts from the haunted house making Sam jump from the kitchen counter ready to attack. The woman let out a tired laugh as she held her hands up in defense, “Easy there tiger, it's just me.” The baffled expression that fell upon Sam’s face got another tired laugh from the girl and a chuckle from her boyfriend.
“Cher, you look like you just crawled out of The Exorcist.”
“Well that’s the point. Not to mention the upside down crab walk I can do.”
“That’s just not right.” Sam shakes his head before grabbing the rest of his meal and retreating to his room.
It was the following morning, after her yoga with Pepper where she found the two normally bickering fools sitting like perfect angels on the couch. Her eyes narrowed suspiciously at the two men, “What did you do?”
“Nothing.” Both men answered her eerily at the same time. Setting her water bottle down on the table, she turned to stand squarely in front of them. “You two are up to something. Talk before I call Sarah.”
At the mention of his sister Sam’s eye twitched. With a heavy sigh she moved her hands to her hips as she prepared to wait. Before either could explain themselves Steve walked by. “Hey (Y/n), Peter is going to be with us this weekend.” The simple update gave all the explanation she needed.
Given that Peter was a minor still Tony always gave notice to the tower inhabitants when the teen would be staying at the tower. With notice that their least favorite, but still loved in their own strange way, pain in the rear teen would be in Thing 1 and Thing 2 were up to no good. Neither Bucky or Sam said anything until Steve left, the golden boy would definitely ruin whatever they had planned for the teenager.
“What are you two doing to poor Peter this time?” Sam clicked his tongue as his head moved left and right. “Not what are we,” Sam pointed between himself and the metal armed man next to him, “are doing to him.”
It took her a moment before she realized what was insinuated. “What? Why?”
“Because it’s funny?”
“Because the punk deserves it?”
Both of the males answered her at the same time leaving the woman shaking her head. She let out a sigh looking at both of them, “I am going to shower. If, and I do mean ‘if’ you two children can give me a good reason, then maybe I will do it.”
👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻
She still didn’t know how Barnes and Wilson had convinced her to do this. There were bribes and reminders of holiday tricks. It took the two men nearly two hours to convince her but now she’s sitting in the dark waiting. She was dressed in striped pajamas splattered with fake blood. Her face painted to look sunken in and dead-like, making the eerily yellow eye contacts pop in the light Peter was surely to turn on.

Dream Of Me
PROLOGUE
SUMMARY: m!reader (Y/n) is an incubus, who enrolls into an state university, just outside Beacon Hills, a town that has a quite lively supernatural little community, even if the supernaturals themselves aren’t all aware. There, he meets a shy blonde guy who acts like he is half of himself, and a dark haired one who is loud and can’t keep his mouth shut to save his perfect little ass.
Tags: Teen Wolf AU. m!reader x stiles x isaac. Smut. Fetishes. College. Nsfw. Past mentions of abuse. Physical abuse. Drinking. Drugs. Angst. Fluff. (if there are any more that i’m aware as the chapters progress, i’ll always add them on the top of the chapter).
PS: everything is tagged as well, this is just so you know what is gonna be on here in the future.
Notes: So, this is it, the fic no one asked for, yet, i’m gonna make, cause i’m the the niche public for it. This is my first fic in english, so i’d really appreciate if you guys read it and gave me feedback ^^
Likes and reblogs will be incredibly appreciated.
Since it’s been forever since i’ve seen any of the series and i’m not gonna rewatch everything, this is very AU-ish. Also, we all know they were never the actual age to be in high school, so college it is. Not everyone is dead here.
Incubus and other supernatural part is heavily influenced by the series “Lost Girl”, as well as my knowledge of myths from some books i have and other favorite series. Such as Charmed (1998).
This is just an intro, i’ll finish writting the first chapter tomorrow.
So, that’s it, have fun:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“When in hiding, always pick a crowd. Easier to blend in, easier to feed, easier to manipulate and control them to save yourself.”.
“If persued, choose somewhere with other supernaturals, worse comes to worst, push them into the fire and run on top their bodies.”.
Those were the advices you had from family. Some of the few really. So, when you found yourself looking into a new place to spend your next years, you choose Beacon Hills. The place is, after all, known for atracting a number of wolves, that means packs, and packs means supernaturals that keep each other safe. Even if you have to climb your way into their midst.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Isaac was the first to notice the new guy on campus. I mean, everybody was new, it was the start of the semester, and he had just moved with his father into town a couple weeks ago, but he was used to keep an eye out for everything and everyone. Always watching from the corner of his eye, always sniffing anything that could come out of the blue to hit him.
What he noticed first was your smell, you smelled like everything soathing and hot at the same time. Not hot as in attractive, but as in temperature hot. But also like books, and strawberry? Oh my god, did turning into a wolf made him a pervert as well? Great, he mumbled “add that to the list: lousy son, fuck up wolf and now pervert”.
The second thing was how you could move so swiftly among the crowd, people just avoided you, not even noticing they were doing it, as if it was uncouncious. A lone guy just waltzing through, were people not seeing you? And i mean, he was a werewolf who considered himself a kind of expert in avoiding people’s touches, so that meant something.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Stiles you saw later. After you worked the dean to get you into a not too noticeable schoolarship. You had two delicious puppy twins on your arms, who were taking you to their room, when he ran into you. He literally ran into you, pile of books and all. How very cliché of him.
Looking into your eyes, went blushing red. It was cute, even if the twins took a piss at him for it. But you were hungry, so you just accepted the “sorry” and left for a double meal. Leaving a Stiles mess looking into your eyes whose color he swore gleamed just the perfect amount when you looked at him.
It had been a long day. Bank, apartment, moving company, sheriff, dean. You had to wrap them all around your finger as not to raise suspicion of your sudden moving into a nice place and getting into uni last minute. No one could really blame you, not by your standards at least.
I’m Right Here
Tumblr media
Crutchie x Reader
A/N: Well here is a blast from the quite recent past! Back at it again with the Newsies fics...I was really happy to write for the fandom again cos I won’t lie, I kinda missed it. This was another request and I’ll be honest, I feel kinda bad because I’m not too happy with it. All the same, I hope you guys enjoy it! (PS. There’s a reference in there for my fellow Teen Wolf fans...50 points to Hufflepuff if you can spot it) Moose :)
-----------------------------------------------------
You sprung up from your bed, gasping at the loud ringing sound from the warden’s walking stick on one of the beds. Looking around the room, you watched as all the other boys groaned and whined with you. You screwed up your eyes and pulled the blanket back over the top of you, desperately trying to block out the noise from the boys around you.
“Y/N?” The warden pushed your shoulder gently, laughing at your ignorance, “come on…only fair you have to go too”
You flopped around and huffed, looking at him momentarily before dramatically groaning.
“Can’t. Have. Cramps.” You groaned, pretending to wince after each word.
“You used that excuse yesterday. And the day before that. And the day before that. And must I go on?” He laughed, throwing the covers off of you onto the floor beside the bed, “GET UP!”
“You’re mean, old man!” You shouted back at him, snatching up your blanket off of the floor as you hesitantly got out of bed. You paused as you watched the boys all laugh and talk as they got ready before your eyes landed on a particular boy. He smiled brightly as he pulled up his socks, struggling slightly as his leg didn’t co-operate with him. You smiled sadly, your heart breaking for both him and yourself.
“You’re bright pink, Sparky” a familiar voice teased you, making you snap your head in his direction.
“Shut up, Race, or I’ll make ya” you snatched his hat off his head and shoved it in his chest, turning round sharply on your heel as you headed towards the bathroom.
“Is that a threat?”
“Why? Want me to make it one?!” You shouted at Race, slamming the door to the bathroom in frustration. You sighed as you turned your back to lean on the door, listening as Race shouted at the rest of the dorm.
“Sparky’s in the bathroom, boys!”
“She’s got a name, Race!” You heard another boy shout, laughing slightly as he ended his sentence.
“Oh yeah? Cos with that temper, I thought that name suited her!”
Sighing, you pushed yourself off the door, heading to the mirror to check the state you were in.
“Not that bad, today…I mean, still look like a bloody ogre but I guess it’s better than usual?”
“Why are you talking to yourself, Y/N?” Crutchie questioned, laughing to himself slightly as he watched you jump, pink spreading across your cheeks.
“There’s a girl in here. You know the rules”
“I’m your best friend, rules don’t apply to me”
“Well, actually, it kinda does. See, there’s this thing called privacy that is actually a human right and right now, you’re violating my human right. You could go to jail for that”
Crutchie scoffed, smiling widely, “Come on. We’re already late”
You scoffed and grabbed your tattered brown jacket from the hook next to the door, before joining Crutchie as the two of you would head to the circulation gate.
—————————————————————
“JACK! JACK!” You called out, pushing your way to the front as the hoard of boys began shouting and screaming at the terrified boys in the circulation grounds. You managed to get to the front and grab Jack’s hand. He spun around in shock, relaxing when he saw it was you.
“What’s the matter?”
“What’s going on?” You asked, trying to look beyond the gates to see what was happening, meeting the two pairs of hungry eyes you were used to seeing every day.
“They jacked up the price of the papers”
“I’m sorry, what?”
“You heard…” Jack turned around at the sound of the Delancey’s sneering.
“Well well well, look what the cat dragged in” Oscar remarked, making it obvious he was talking to you.
“Hi Oscar” you replied haphazardly, not caring for him as your eyes scanned the crowd for Crutchie.
“You joining the strike too? Oh, stupid question. You’re a girl! You ain’t smart enough to make your own decisions”
You whipped back around, staring at Oscar angrily before smirking, “I always knew you were a girl! Now, where’s your sister? You two really aren’t smart enough to be on your own”
Oscar growled at you, lunging at the gates and grabbing them threateningly, getting even more frustrated at the fact you didn’t even flinch. At the sound of his brother’s growl, Morris sauntered over, picking something out of his teeth.
“What’s the bitch done now?”
You were about to snarl back at him but the name he had given you had triggered something in all the boys as all of them pushed forward, trying to get to Morris to kill him. No one called you that and got away with it. Not even those in Brooklyn would dare call you such a name for they feared the wrath that would entail. You were forcefully pushed forward from the crowd, pushing you into the gate. Jack screamed out, silencing the crowd and stopping their actions.
“ENOUGH! Listen…I just had a talk with Davey here, and we is gonna start a strike!”
You shook your head as you pushed your way all the way to the back to where Crutchie was, not wanting to hear the constant teasing from the brothers anymore.
“You ok?” Crutchie asked, smiling sadly as he noticed you emerge from the crowd.
“Let’s just go home…I don’t think this is going to end very well”
Crutchie nodded and offered out his arm and you took it lightly, very aware he needed to use his entire upper body to support himself. The two of you began walking back but you both stopped in your tracks when you heard the gate open and a roar of boys shouting. You turned around, noticing a brawl happen between the Newsies and the Delancey’s gang.
“Crutchie? What’s happening?!” You cried, wanting to jump in and help but not knowing how.
“I don’t think they’re too happy that we’re on strike!” Crutchie cried out to you, the sound of the ‘fight making it hard to talk without shouting.
“SPARKY!” Race shouted, his head in a headlock of one of the Delancey brothers, his eyes wide in shock, “LOOK OUT!”
You furrowed your eyebrows in confusion before you heard a yelp from Crutchie behind you, making you turn around in surprise. Snider was behind you with a load of policemen and guards from the refuge. Before you knew it, the Newsies were trying to fight off both the Delancey’s gang and the guards all at once. Somehow, you were dragged into the fight, but having been raised on the streets by your parents before they passed, your fighting skills were not bad at all. You dodged punches from the circulation boys and slid underneath the legs of the guards as he lunged to grab you. You caught glances of newsies being attacked and dragged away, but that only angered you more. Out of nowhere, a sharp pain hit your face and knocked you to the ground, your head slamming on the concrete as you fell. The last thing you heard was Jack crying out, “CRUTCHIE!”
————————————————————
You woke up slowly, your eyes stinging as the bright light from the window shined right on you. You sat up slowly, jumping slightly when you saw all the boys stood around your bed.
“What-what’s going on?” You stammered, trying to stand up but stumbling backwards slightly, feeling two arms hold you upright.
“Sparky, maybe you should sit down” Race nodded, holding his breath.
“What’s happened, where’s Crutchie?!”
Jack knelt down to your eye level and took your hand, “Listen, Y/N…please don’t freak out”
“Oh yes, because that’s so settling” you snapped, immediately regretting it when Jack gave you a glare. He relaxed and took a deep breath when he realised you had calmed.
“Y/N, Crutchie was…taken…”
“What?” You breathed out, so quietly you were surprised anyone had heard you.
“I’m really sorry. We’re going to try everything to get him home. Race and I are going tonight to try and rescue him”
You nodded and stood up, the boys all watching you cautiously as you slowly walked to the bathroom, shutting the door slowly. As soon as the door had clicked shut, you collapsed to the floor and cried your eyes out.
Crutchie wasn’t just your best friend, he was so much more. He had been with you when you were brought in from the streets, comforting you each night when you woke up crying from your nightmares. As the two of you grew up, he was there for you no matter what. He made you laugh, cry and angry, but more than anything, he made you fall in love with him. You had loved Crutchie for so long, but no one knew. You never told him as you feared he wouldn’t feel the same way, so you kept your feelings hidden from all the boys and the warden, crying some nights when reality set in again.
“Sparky?” Race knocked on the door, entering slowly. He gasped as he raced to you on the floor, scooping you up and holding you tightly as you cried into his chest.
“I love him, Race” you sobbed, “I love him so much. I can’t lose him! He’s going to die! They’re not going to take care of him! He’s too weak! Too fragile! He’s going to die in there!”
Race pulled you in close and shushed you, rocking you back and forth as you cried. Jack knocked on the door to get Race when the two of them noticed you had fallen asleep. Race carried you back to bed and tucked you in before heading to the refuge to get Crutchie.
——————————————————————
“HEY! GIMP! GET OVER HERE, THERE’S SOMEONE AT THE WINDOW FOR YOU!”
Crutchie limped over, using the bunk beds for support as the guards had broken his crutch.
“Jack! Race!” Crutchie said gleefully, smiling widely.
“Hey, we’re gonna bust you out of here” Jack smiled, groaning as he tried to support himself on the bars of the window.
“Jack, I’m not so sure. How are you going to do it?”
“We’re working on it” he groaned, still trying to smile although struggling.
“Is Y/N ok?”
“She’s worried about you” Race piped up, struggling more than Jack to keep himself up on the bars of the window, “She just wants you home now”
“This place is guarded to the very door. There’s no way you’re going to be able to sneak in here, at least tonight. And I’m certainly not going to fit in between the window bars”
Jack nodded, “We’re coming to get you. Just hold on tight”
Jack took Crutchie’s hand and squeezed it in reassurance, smiling sadly at the boy he had always considered to be a brother.
“Quick. Before you get caught” Crutchie shooed them away, Jack and Race shuffling down the drain-pipe quickly but cautiously.
Crutchie watched the two boys scurry out of the refuge gates and sighed sadly, limping back over to the crowded bunk that was now his bed for the next week. He began to feel tears in his eyes at the thought of you being scared and alone, your nightmares coming back and no one being able to comfort you like he does. He appreciated that you were worried about him, but he was probably worried about you more.
——————————————————————
“WOAH! WOAH! Y/N! IT’S OK!” Jack cried, taking you into his arms as you continued to scream and cry from a nightmare you were having. You had the same nightmare for weeks now, the image of Crutchie being taken and hurt replaying in your mind, getting worse each night.
“Y/N IT WAS JUST A DREAM. IT’S A DREAM. WE’RE OK!” Jack tried to calm you down, shushing you as you sobbed.
“Jack, he’s being hurt. He’s going to die” you cried into him, not caring that the rest of the dorm was probably awake as well.
“Y/N, please…calm down” Jack begged, rocking you gently. You squeezed Jack’s hand tightly and listen to Jack’s steady heartbeat. He wasn’t Crutchie, but he was trying his hardest to help you all the same.
“I’m sorry” you sniffed into Jack’s chest, loud enough that you knew the rest of the dorm would hear.
“Don’t be sorry. Hey, I promised I would get him outta there…you ain’t giving up on me, are you?”
You shook your head gently and sighing, pulling back from Jack’s embrace to look at him directly.
“Please, get him as quickly as possible. I just need to know that he’s safe”
Jack nodded and laid you back down on your bed gently, pulling the blanket on top of you as you fell back asleep. He sighed as he watched you sleep, guilt overcoming him as he thought about all the nightmares you had been having recently. He knew that the only thing that would put your mind to rest would be for Crutchie to be home, by your side. Race had told him about your love for Crutchie, explaining why you had been having nightmares about him.
Race looked down at Jack from his bunk and bit his lip, “we really gotta get him home, Jack…it’s not fair on her now. It’s killing her now”
Jack nodded in response and grabbed his cap, nodding his head towards the door as a silent signal for Race to follow him.
The two headed towards the refuge, dodging in and out of the shadows as they hid from anyone and everyone, taking every precaution under the moon not to be seen. As they walked past the refuge gates, they snuck into the grounds, finding an open door into the main building. Luckily, it was at such a time in the morning that all the night-guards even gave up and fell asleep. Silently, they headed in the general direction of the dorm they previously saw Crutchie in, Jack’s previous experience in the refuge being of use to them.
“Crutch? Crutchie?” Race shouted in a hushed whisper, getting elbowed by Jack for making noise.
“Shut it, Race. We can’t afford to be caught”
The two of them tip-toed towards the nearest dorm door they could find, sliding in the crack in so as not toped it any further or make a noise.
“Crutchie?” Race whispered out, boys and girls of all ages looking at them with confusion.
“Wait” a boy commanded, not bothering to hush his voice, “Why are you here?”
“We’re here to get someone. Crutchie. Know where he may be?” Jack asked, not caring that the boy tried his best to be threatening, “About this high, can’t walk properly and has a crutch?”
“Had.” The boy corrected him, “You want Gimp? I know where he is”
“Can you help us?” Race pleaded
“For a price”
“Fine” Jack stated, “Now where is he?”
———————————————————————
“Y/N?” Albert shook your shoulder, trying to wake you up, “Y/N, come on. Someone is here to see you”
You opened your eyes slowly, seeing Albert’s face filled with excitement. You sat up, confused, and looked around, your eyes widening with shock when you saw a boy sat on the end of your bed, crutch in hand.
“Crutchie?” You asked, your voice shaking slightly at the boy you saw in front of you.
“Hey, Y/N” he smiled, shifting up towards you to take your hand.
“No” you took your hand back, cowering further back away from him, “no, you’re not here. You aren’t real”
Crutchie looked up at the boys, all of them looking sadly at him, before turning back to you, “What do you mean? I’m right here, Y/N”
‘No. You’re just in my imagination, you’re not here” you began to cry, your breathing quickening and your vision becoming blurry.
“Boys, leave” Jack ordered, standing further back himself as he watched to make sure you were going to be ok, “Crutchie, she’s been having nightmares and hallucinations of you. She probably thinks you’re not real, just like the past weeks”
Crutchie looked at you with worry, trying to think of any way to calm you down, “Y/N listen to me, you’re having a panic attack. Listen to me, I’m right here. I’m real. Listen to my voice, Y/N…match your breathing with mine”
You watched as Crutchie took deep breaths, trying to encourage you to breathe with him, his hands slowly going towards yours to take them.
“Crutch, it’s not working” you hyperventilated, shaking your head as you tried to make your vision clear once again.
Crutchie stammered, looking back at Jack who was also showing his worry, his arms by his side and his eyes not leaving yours. Crutchie took a deep breath and placed both hands on face and pulling you towards him, kissing you gently. Surprised by his action, you stopped breathing and stared at him with wide eyes. When you realised what he was actually doing, you closed your eyes and kissed him back. Crutchie pulled away from you, his hands not leaving your face.
“What was that?” You asked him breathlessly, still trying to make sense of what had just happened.
“I read somewhere that holding your breath can stop a panic attack. You held your breath when I kissed you”
“You could have stopped me breathing without kissing me”
“I wanted to kiss you” Crutchie smiled, stroking your cheek with his thumb. You grinned back at him and lunged towards him, embracing him tightly. You saw Jack chuckle to himself and leave, pulling the door to the dorm closed behind him. As you pulled back, you laughed before kissing Crutchie again. He loved you too, and that’s all that mattered.
NEW SERIES
Hello my little dumplings, so recently someone requested an Imagine where the reader is a really shitty person but towards the end of the Imagine the reader kinda becomes nice and a little lightbulb popped up above my head screaming CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT now what do I love more than character development... TEEN WOLF and who do I love the most...STILES STILINSKI the little dork.
So if you didn’t put the clues together(don’t worry I wouldn’t have either because I’m not the best at dropping hints) I AM STARTING A NEW SERIES.-Yes I will not stop halfway through because of procrastination I’m on the ball this time.
Now this starts in season one of Teen wolf-mmhmm I have given myself the task of writing an Imagine all the way through to season six because don’t you just love a challenge? And as the request said the reader is a terrible person so during this Imagine we’re gonna hate y/n, but we’re gonna see your character develop throughout the seasons.
Can we just talk about Lydia and Malia’s character development aknfjwkabfusw I just live for it.
(And highkey Theo’s do not come for me I swear)
I have already written 7 parts, however there is a catch unfortunately. If you know me you know I have recently been struggling to upload my writing with paragraphs- I don’t wanna talk about it tumblr has something against me at the moment- so I’ve kinda had to switch over to WATTPAD.
I know you guys might think-urgfhhh that’s a whole other app to download- but I promise you it is a very very good app if you love to read and write. I’ve had the app since I was 14 so that’s a good long (let me do the maths)...4 years.
Honestly I’ve written so many stories on there and I adore it because when you write it shows each chapter seperately and in the format of a book. I can also add Gifs for you guys just like I do here.
First of all I would like to say to anyone who downloads this app to read my new series, Or to anyone who follows me in general, i appreciate you and your existence so much. This tumblr account is everything to me and I’ve mentioned this before but my mental health isn’t the best but you guys. YOU GUYS are diamonds and you’ve honestly become my family.
The support I get is phenomenal and don’t think that I don’t read every single message(if I haven’t replied to yours then I was probably at college) please message me you are forever welcome on my page and even on my other social media’s. I’m really glad you enjoy my writing and I love having your feedback.
So please, the link is above if you want to check out my new series. I’m honestly so so proud of it, I’ve never been so excited to upload something in my life. I love you forever and always. Shantay x
Ps: I just looked at this post after I uploaded it and yet again THERE ARE NO PARAGRAPHS OMG Akidbdksjfbeksnshgz.
Pps-I didn’t tag my wattpad username: Shan_robinsxx
Ppps-I edited so now I can see paragraphs can you?
This is for your Fanfic ask games (I love your stuff and I want to see your answer (: ) B, I S, T, X, Y
Sorry for answering so late! School has been a pain in the ass. But here's my answers for you ask:B | Any stories inspired by personal experiences?Nah, I'm just a very imaginative person. Though, I do include animals and mythology in my books because I love those two things.I | Do you have a guilty pleasure in fic (reading or writing)?Yes. I've read way too many books where the main character just allows the love interest to use them and walk all over them. It gets annoying, like the love interest could fucking kill all of the main characters friends, cheat on them, or kill their parents and the main character will just be all like 'I still love you *heart eyes emoji*'. I like for the main character to fucking leave the love interest shook. Like, rise up and show how strong they really are. S | Any fandom tropes you can't resist?CROSSOVERS! In all of my works, I always mash up one show with another. It gives me the ability to tweak whatever I want with any of the characters. All in all, Crossovers and AUs provide me with the air I breath.T | Any fandom tropes you can't stand?HOW MANY FUCKING TIMES IS JOKER AND HARLEY GONNA HAVE A KID???? Sure, they had a daughter, but it's always the same shut when people write. 'Jokers my dad, Harley's my mom, I act like a hoe for Robin but suddenly Batman kidnaps me and forces me to join the YJ League.' Like are you serious. That shits unrealistic.X | A character you enjoy making suffer?Tim Drake, because I'm used to seeing my baby suffer. Plus he's easier to write about so… BUT THATS MY SON I LOVE HIM DONT BE FOOLED.But if your talking about my OCs, I'd probably pick Luna/Evangelina Kent from my Teen Wolf/Young Justice series. Which is funny, because Tim Drake is her love interest. But my sweet child has already been through a lot, with being a hunter and all (not going to spoil the rest of you haven't finished Book 1 and started Book 2). Luna and Tim kinda balance each other with their flaws, even though they both suffer a lot with their friends and family.Y | A character you want to protect?Again, TIM DRAKE. My son has suffered too much with everything that's been going on in his comic series.Again, if you're talking about OCs I'd probably pick… Pandora Lockhart from my book SWIM GOOD. Even though my readers don't know much about her, Pandora's past is really dark and I cried when I thought about it. Like? Why do I like making my characters suffer so much?? My poor British Detective. And Tim Drake is her love interest too. My children.Thank you for asking these questions! Please feel free to ask more. PS, which book of mine is your favorite? And what's your user?
Panic
Tumblr media
Isaac Lahey x Plus size!reader
Word Count: 2591 words
Warnings: anxiety?
Summary: Reader gets freaked out when she thinks they're hurting Isaac and they find out its because he's her anchor. (Inspired by 3x02)
—————————————————————————————————
You didn’t have a problem at first.
Erica and Boyd were gone and if there was anything that any of you could do to find them, you knew that you had to. If you didn’t track them down soon, something awful was going to occur and that couldn’t happen.
You couldn’t lose anymore people.
So, when Deaton suggested some kind of ice bath to figure out where they were, you weren’t opposed. In theory, it shouldn’t have been that big of a deal and given all the times that Dr.Deaton had helped you out in the past, you didn’t question it.
Until you found out that they were planning on nearly killing Isaac.
For some reason, as soon as you were in that back room, with that ominous tub filled to the brim with freezing cold water, you could hardly breathe.
It was too much.
As soon as he got into the water, you could tell that something wasn’t right but that feeling only grew when he started thrashing around and doing everything he could to get out, his eyes glowing yellow and teeth bared.
“Stop! You have to stop” you started, the words weak as they left your throat, panic rushing through you at the thought of what they were doing.
No one moved, only increasing the constricting in your chest, your hands closed so tight that you feared you may actually shred the flesh of your palms with your claws.
They were going to kill him, and everyone else didn’t even seem to care besides you. It didn’t make any sense. Were they really just going to stand here and watch him freeze to death? Or drown?
“You’re killing him!” you screamed, worried that if you didn’t do something, Derek would drown Isaac in a desperate attempt to find out where the others were.
Not that it really mattered because you were almost entirely convinced no one was listening, until finally, Deaton spoke.
“Get her out of here!” Deaton decided, urging whoever was closest to get you somewhere else until they were finished. If they weren’t able to finish this, it would all be for nothing and if you couldn’t be calm enough to be here, you were going to have to leave.
Isaac had agreed to everything that was happening, and he was fine.
They couldn’t stop everything just to prove it to you.
Scott was the first to move, perfectly aware that as much as he didn’t want to leave Isaac’s side, you weren’t going to leave with anyone else.
As long as Isaac was under that ice cold water, you were just going to have to deal with him.
After all, if anyone had any hope at calming you down, it was him.
“Come on Y/N. Let's get you outta here” he suggested, forcefully taking your arm and leading you out of the room. You put up a hell of a fight, just like he knew you would, but as soon as you saw his eyes glowing amber, you settled down pretty well.
No amount of anxiety could combat his abilities, besides, deep down, you knew that Scott would never let anything happen to Isaac.
He didn't speak again until he was sure that you were calm, sitting down on the front step of the Beacon Hills Animal Clinic.
The cool night air was doing a good job at keeping  you relaxed, and your blood wasn’t boiling quite as much as it had been.
At the very least, Scott could talk to you now.
“Are you alright?” he hummed, bumping your leg with his foot, just to make sure that you were still here with him. He could only imagine how hard it was for you to see Isaac like that, in what could certainly become a life threatening situation.
Since you had come here, and joined Scott’s ‘pack’, no one had made quite the impact on you that Isaac had.
It was clear that he was important to you, but no one realized just how much he meant to you until right now. The way you had panicked seeing him there, unconscious under the water, you were inconsolable.
He had never seen you like that.
Not even when you were completely out of control.
“He’s safe, isn’t he?” you clarified, your breath still as rigid and shaky as it had been as soon as you saw Isaac in that ice bath. You weren’t even sure what it was about it that struck you so bad, but you didn’t like it.
All you knew was that you didn’t like it.
Scott nodded, a small smile on his face at just how much this whole thing meant to you. In a strange way, it was sort of sweet that you were so worried about what happened to him.
For a guy who didn’t think he had anyone in the world, he certainly had one person who would have done anything for him.
“Then I’m fine” you hummed, a new sort of calm washing over you as you decided to believe him. As long as Scott knew that Isaac was going to be okay, you didn’t have any reason to worry.
It was when he started worrying that you had to be scared.
“I’m sorry about this whole thing, I usually have control over it. I just freaked out” you sighed, running your hands over your face as you tried to figure out what had come over you. Now that you were out here, it was fading but not gone.
That pull to him, that panic that filled you as soon as he was in any kind of danger. It was like being away from him physically hurt you, it just didn’t feel right, no matter what.
It was driving you crazy.
You had never felt like that before, not ever, but since you met him, it was like it was all you could think about.
Not that it was entirely your fault.
You weren’t familiar with the concept of an anchor of course, but that didn’t mean that you didn’t have one. Thankfully, Scott knew enough about it for the both of you, and it was about time that you realized just what was happening to you.
“It’s okay, it isn’t your fault” Scott hummed, his voice filled with the normal level of support and care that you were used to.
He really was good at this.
“Do you know what an anchor is?”
You didn’t, but thankfully, Scott had more than enough time to fill you in.
Granted, every word he said was insane.
The idea that you and Isaac were linked somehow didn’t make any sense, and really, you weren’t sure that you believed it. After all, it had to have been the most outlandish thing that you’d ever heard in your life.
...but you didn’t think he was lying to you either.
He had no reason to lie, and even if he did, it was just too close to a realistic explanation.
The idea that there was a werewolf-related reason for you to be so attached to him kind of made you feel better, as weird as it was.
At least that explained why you were powerless to actually do anything about it.
“I’m gonna go check on them” Scott decided, eventually standing to head back inside once he was sure that he’d said all there was to say. Giving you some time to process everything that was going on couldn’t hurt.
Besides, if Isaac wasn’t out of the water by now, he wasn’t going to just bring you back in. You had calmed down a little but as soon as you saw him like that again, the panic would come back.
It  would all be for nothing, and he hadn’t gone through all this for nothing.
You could come in once everything was said and done and he was okay.
Which, thankfully, didn’t take too long, because neither Scott nor Deaton was all too convinced that you would stay outside for much longer.
After all, that nagging feeling in the pit of your stomach was only getting stronger and stronger as the minutes ticked by and it was only a matter of time before you made your way back to his side.
Not that you could be blamed, because apparently it wasn’t up to you.
Nothing felt like it was up to you anymore.
~
Eventually, you decided that you’d had enough of the distance, and after double checking to make sure that you could handle it, you stood to go back into the vet Clinic.
It seemed like the only good thing to come out of Scott telling you about your relationship to Isaac was that you felt like you had some control over the way you felt, at least, as far as this was concerned.
He could handle it.
Scott wouldn't have let him get in that ice if he couldn’t, and all you could do now was hope that this whole thing was close to over.
Which, thankfully, it was.
By the time you got back into the heat of it, Isaac was out of the tub, a towel thrown around his shoulders as he tried to combat the dropping in his temperature.
Even with his enhanced healing, his body was taking a while to bounce back.
To be fair, they had nearly killed him just now.
“You doing okay, Y/N?” Scott hummed, the first to speak after he noticed you there in the entryway, clearly trying to gauge how  you were holding up.
He wasn’t shocked by how you reacted at first, but now that Isaac was back in the land of the living, he wasn’t sure how you were going to react. You had just learned quite a bit about him while he was out, after all.
Things that he didn’t even know.
You only nodded, doing everything you could to let him know that you were going to be okay, though you couldn’t force your eyes away from Isaac’s shivering frame.
Deep down, you knew he was going to be okay, but seeing it for yourself felt different.
It was like a wave of relief nearly knocked you off your feet.
You didn’t know what to say, all you knew for sure was that you’d never been so happy to see someone in your life.
“Why don’t we take a second to regroup, then we can discuss what can be done about Boyd and Erica?” Deaton suggested, sharing a knowing look with both Scott and Derek, who could clearly see what was going on as well as he could.
In fact, the only person who remained perfectly clueless to the things unfolding around him was Stiles, who stood as stuck in his place as ever, until Scott ushered him out with the rest of them, leaving you and Isaac alone.
Given everything that you two had just gone through, he was sure there was something you wanted to say.
The least he could do was give you a couple minutes to work it out.
Besides, it wasn’t like anyone was going to figure out right where the Alpha’s were keeping Erica and Boyd in the next fifteen minutes.
You could spare this time, and then hopefully, both you and Isaac could actually use the connection between you to actually benefit the pack, instead of just hovering around one another in confused silence like you normally did.
A silence that was currently holding all of your attention as you tried to figure out what you were supposed to say to him.
Now that it was just the two of you here, it felt like there was both everything and nothing to be said at once.
You just weren’t sure which would be better.
“Are you okay? Scott mentioned you were having a hard time” Isaac spoke first, hoping that he could get you to elaborate. There was clearly something that was bothering you but when he tried to get Scott to tell him, he wouldn’t.
All he kept saying was that he could ask you himself when you came back in.
“I guess so. I’m just glad you’re alright” you allowed, a small shrug tugging at your shoulders as you tried to keep this as casual as you could. You didn’t just want to come out and tell him that he was your anchor.
What if he didn’t know? What if he didn’t want to be?
You had no idea how you would deal with something like that.
“Me too. I was worried about you, when I was under” he hummed, his words far more muted now than the previous ones.
He just wasn’t sure how you would react, but the truth was that he heard you, at least, parts of what you’d said.
...and it scared him.
Knowing that you were out there, in so much distress, and he couldn’t do anything about it forced something up from the pits of Isaac’s stomach that he’d never felt before.
It was more fear and anxiety than he was used to, even living with his dad.
He just wanted to check on you, but he knew that he couldn’t. As much as he wanted to make sure you were alright, he knew that finding Erica and Boyd was more important.
Besides, just as you trusted Scott to take care of Isaac, he trusted Scott to make sure you were alright.
You had to be.
“It was like I could feel how much you needed help” he sighed, now taking his turn to shrug as he did his best to make sense of something that wasn’t really meant to make all that much sense in the first place.
Like everything else you’d learned since becoming a werewolf, it would just take time to accept.
“-How much I needed you” you corrected, sure that was what he was going to say before he decided against it.
By this point, you were both thinking the same thing, feeling the same thing, you just weren’t sure who was going to say it first.
Thankfully, there was no true awkwardness between you and Isaac.
It was much more akin to a comfortable uncertainty, as you both fought yourselves on what you knew was happening. Which, you chalked up to having everything to do with the bond you shared.
“Yeah, that too” Isaac confirmed, a slight smile on his handsome face as he realized that you were right. The entire time he was trying to fight the urge to leave everything he was doing behind to make sure you were okay.
At least for a moment, he forgot everything else except for you, and now that he was thinking about it, that wasn’t the first time it had happened.
It happened a lot, for both of you.
Every time he got too out of control on the full moon and felt his control slipping away, he thought about you and heard your voice in his head.
It was one of the only things that could calm him down, even when he woke up with nightmares in the middle of the night.
You were the only thing he always had, and you both knew what it meant.
This whole time Isaac thought that his anger toward his father was the thing keeping him in control but that wasn’t the case at all. Clearly, there was something so much stronger than his hate, the real focus of his attention.
You.
You were his anchor.
“Unfair Advantage”: Theo Raeken (Teen Wolf) Imagine/Headcanons
Tumblr media
Theo Raeken Imagine/Headcanons   #WEREWOLFWEDNESDAY
(Well technically chimera but ya know what I mean, lol)
Theo Raeken x Reader : PS Reader, Plus Size Reader
Imagine rendering Theo speechless while working out.....
Being around Theo had always been a thorn in your side.
But you ran with the same group of friends
Therefore you spent more time with him than you’d like
You also shared the same gym
You were determined not to let him affect your plans.
You had a routine.
You were there FIRST.
You weren’t moving.
He could move!
However, Theo was barely moving at all.
He’d frozen on the spot watching you work out on the exercise ball.
Never in his LIFE had he been so torn.
Let’s just say...that ball popped today.
You slapped the shit out of him for kissing you like that.
But it was worth it.
For the both of you, lol.
Blood pt.5
Tumblr media
Stiles Stilinski x Plus size!reader
Word Count: words
Warnings: none
Summary: Stiles has to do something hard, which ends up blowing the reader’s secret wide open
Part 1
Part 2
Part 3
Part 4
—————————————————————————————————
“You need what?”
Scott was sure that he’d misheard his best friend, but as soon as Stiles had said it, he repeated it as if it was no big deal.
What he was asking for, of course, was blood, or more specifically, blood bags from the hospital. It was insane, not to mention illegal, but for whatever reason, Stiles was insistent that he needed it.
It didn’t make any sense.
“I can explain later, I just need you to trust me right now” Stiles tried, aware of just how crazy he sounded. What he was asking for was much more than a favor, it was a felony, but it wasn’t as if Scott was fully a law abiding citizen to begin with.
Being what he was meant that sometimes he had to bend the rules that were made for normal people but Stiles was normal people. What he needed with blood from the hospital, he had no idea, but Scott knew he couldn't refuse.
The desperation in his tone alone had guaranteed that.
“Alright, give me an hour” Scott decided, hanging up before his best friend could ask him for anything else that could potentially get him arrested. At this rate, he’d ask him for a cadaver next and at some point, Scott had to draw the line.
Though, clearly, blood wasn’t the line.
Whatever it was he needed it for, Scott was sure he’d get a full rundown once he got to his house, but first, he had to get to the hospital.
His being there would be far less suspicious than if Stiles went himself, because he could play it off like he was just there to see Melissa and his added werewolf abilities would make it much easier for him to sneak in and out.
If Stiles wanted an advantage like that, he would have to bring you which wasn’t exactly any option right now.
The last place you needed to be was a hospital full of sick and dying people, all chalk full of blood that was just waiting for you to nab it. The farthest he could keep you from places like that, or places in general, while you were hungry, the better.
“Good news! Scott will be here with something for you to eat in an hour” he hummed, pretty proud of himself for coming  up with such a clever solution to your little predicament.
This was the perfect thing, because you could eat without hurting anyone.
The blood at the hospital was donated freely and while there was a question of the moral soundness of his plan because of the intended use of the blood, it was much better to use it than keep assaulting strangers for it.
It was much better this way.
Though, as soon as he said it, you didn’t seem as pleased as he thought you would be.
“You asked Scott? What is he going to think you’re using it for?” you wondered, rightfully panicked at his choice of partner in crime. Of all the people he could have asked for help, he chose the true alpha? It didn’t make any sense.
The whole reason you were doing all of this stupid stuff was to keep him from finding out about what you were.
What would the sense in that be if Stiles was just going to call him like some sort of vampiric postmates every time you needed something? It would have been easier for you to just go out and track some down yourself.
You had been doing it all this time by yourself anyway.
“I don’t know. I’ll think of something” he shrugged, sure that he would be able to cross that bridge when he came to it. If it was necessary, he would simply avoid the question until Scott stopped asking all together.
Whatever he had to do, he would do it.
The important part was that he had managed to find a way to take care of you, but unfortunately, he couldn't do it alone. It wasn’t like he could just waltz into the hospital himself and take it.
That wouldn’t work.
Scott was his best friend and if anyone could do this, it was him.
“You really need to just start trusting me” Stiles suggested, a small smile on his face as he met your eyes, silently begging you to do as he asked. If this all blew up in your faces, it would be all his fault and you could blame him.
...But until that happened, you were just going to have to accept his help because he wasn’t going anywhere.
“You’re right. Thank you for helping me” you forced, the tightness in your jaw telling him just how truly unsure you were about what was going down here, and he couldn’t blame you for that. Had he been in your shoes, he would have been unsure too.
The difference was that he knew Scott.
Whatever it was that happened, he still wasn’t violent like those other werewolves you kept talking about. He had never hurt anyone if he could help it and the more Stiles vouched for you, the more likely he was to believe that you weren’t dangerous.
The fact you were accepting outside blood at all helped make his point there.
“You’re welcome. Now, I need to go eat with dad for a while until Scott gets here” he hummed, assuming that the best way to manage everything on his plate right now was to just chip away at all of it at once.
Eventually, everything would work out like it should.
“You gonna be okay while I’m gone?” Stiles wondered, taking in the strange, glossy sort of look in your eyes as you sat there. He knew it couldn’t have been that much fun, just waiting around here for him to figure out what the two of you needed to do, but it wasn’t like he had any other choice.
It was just the two of you.
You were the only two people in the world who knew what you were and until he knew that it was safe for anyone else to know, this was just how it had to be. He wasn’t going to risk anything awful happening to you.
Not on his watch.
“Yeah, I’ll just read these again” you decided, gesturing to the stack of comic books on his bedside table. You had gone through them last night while he was sleeping, but reading them again wasn’t going to kill you.
The worst thing in the world that could happen was you memorized them but even with all the hours in the day and night you had to kill, that would take some time with all the issues he had in his collection.
It wasn’t like you’d had too many other opportunities to read comic books before now anyway.
“Alright, hang in there. I’m sure Scott will be here before long” he promised, once again pressing a kiss to your forehead in the same way he’d done before, once again refusing to address it. It still wasn’t the right time to talk about it.
At this point, he was starting to think that there was never going to be a right time to talk about it.
So, you began your reading.
The least you could do was do something to kill time while you waited for the werewolf to get here. If you doing something like this was going to help Stiles relax, it was literally the least you could do to make it up to him.
He’d done so much for you already.
...And because Stiles was Stiles, you knew for a fact that he was nowhere near done doing things for you.
~
The knock on the door made your heart jump, assuming that it could, and you panicked. Understanding what it was on the other side of that door was bad enough but knowing what he was here for was even worse.
This could only go bad.
It could only ruin your entire life but you had made promises to Stiles, just like he had made promises to you. Until everything blew up in your face, you just had to trust him and hope that everything was going to work out, like he did.
Even though it went against every single instinct in your body, you were just going to have to pretend this whole thing was okay for a while.
Worst case, if it went too bad, you could always leave Beacon Hills. It wasn’t the first time you’d had to leave and knowing this town, it wouldn’t be the last either.
You knew that you shouldn't have been listening in on their conversation, but it wasn’t exactly like you could turn it off. They were within range, and even if you wanted to turn out their voices, Stiles’ tone tended to carry through the house.
Besides, at this point, you had grown pretty attached to him and if something went wrong, and he needed your help, you needed to be prepared to be there for him too.
“Hey Scott, how ya’ doin buddy?” Noah was the first to speak, and while you had never meant him, you got the feeling that a huge part of why Stiles was the way he was in the first place was because of him.
It was a vibe you got off of him, and the cadence in his voice.
“Not too bad, Sheriff. Just came to drop off a few things for Stiles'' Scott answered, the content he’d brought with him of vested interest to you. You could practically smell the donor blood in those bags, which was nearly enough to drown out that wet dog stench.
Of all the things you hated the most about werewolves, that was the worse part.
They stank.
The brief greeting between the two of them was broken up by the sounds of footsteps, and creaking floorboards as both Scott and Stiles made their way up the stairs. You had no idea what Stiles could have possibly told him, but why they were coming up here, you had no idea.
You didn’t want to deal with Scott any more today than you already had to.
It was bad enough that he was involved in this at all, but you didn’t have it in you to put on that act anymore. Pretending to be the bubbly, mindless girl on Stiles’ arm was really getting old, as necessary as it was.
“So? Are you going to tell me what you needed all this for, or what?” Scott prompted, his footsteps slightly heavier than Stiles’ on the wood, which you could hear. Even though you knew it wasn’t an option, part of you hoped he’d say no.
This whole thing would be so much easier if Scott didn’t get involved.
Still, you knew perfectly well that Stiles was going to have to tell him something and you just had to wait to find out what that something was. If it was in league with the rest of his lies, it could have been anything which was far from comforting.
He wasn't a good liar.
It wasn’t that big of a deal most of the time, but for your purposes, it would have been nice if he could sell it a little bit.
“I just needed it” Stiles answered back, not doing terribly but certainly not selling it as you had previously been begging him to in your head. If you were in Scott’s place, you would have had several follow up questions and you were sure that he did.
Thankfully though, he didn’t do much in the way of voicing them to the other male.
All he did was keep walking, sure that if he knew anything about Stiles, the truth was bound to come out at some point. The two of them had never really kept much of anything from one another and before too long, it would come out.
It was bound to.
Nothing stayed hidden for long, especially not in a town like this one.
“You just needed it? You needed six units of human blood?” Scott clarified, not seeing how that made any sense. He had never asked for anything like this before, and for something like that to come out of nowhere, he felt like he needed something more.
As much as Scott trusted his best friend, this was a little much, even for them.
If he wanted to keep asking favors like this, he was gonna have to start talking.
“Yeah, for stuff” Stiles shrugged, making a point to not look at the other male, well aware that if he was to make direct eye contact with Scott, the entire thing would unravel. Whether it was due to his heightened abilities or the fact they’d know each other their entire lives.
It would never work.
Maybe you were right in the first place.
Involving Scott at all in this whole thing was bound to be a disaster.
“Is something going on? Are you okay?” There was a tenseness in Scott’s voice, as he realized that Stiles may have actually been in real danger instead of just being weird.
Considering where they were, and what was going on in the world around them, danger wasn’t exactly far away.
While Scott was lost, the potential for Stiles being in some kind of danger was enough to upset him.
Still hearing all of this, you couldn’t help but decide that enough was enough. You desperately wanted  this whole thing to be over and as much as you didn’t want to tell him the truth, you knew that it was going to get more and more complicated if you were going to stay here.
Stiles couldn’t just keep lying for you all the time.
The longer you kept this secret, the more difficult it would be for the pack to trust you when it did come out. Besides, it wasn’t fair to make Stiles lie to everyone he knew just to keep you safe. You had lived long enough to know that you could handle your own if you had to.
“Stiles, you can tell him. It’s okay”
There was a calmness in your voice, heavily contrasting when he would have expected. You were standing at the top of the stairs, looking down at the two of them with the same intensity in your eyes you had the first time Stiles saw you there, in the dark.
Your tone was just loud enough for both men to hear, without alerting Noah to your existence.
...and while what was going on was lost on Scott, he knew well enough to know that the two of you were hiding something after all.
“You’re sure?” Stiles questioned, absolutely terrified over how this was going to go. The story you had told him about the werewolves from your past hadn’t exactly inspired confidence in him over how this would go.
Still, if you were sure that you wanted to do this, he wasn’t going to argue with you. So, when you nodded, he grabbed hold of his best friend and led him up to his bedroom where the three of you could have this very serious conversation in private.
“This is a pretty big deal, but you just have to trust me, okay?” he prompted, gingerly sitting Scott down on his bed before sitting down himself at his desk chair, only keeping contact with you by holding your hand on his own.
You were terrified, of course, hoping that no matter what happened here, you would be able to stay in the only place in the world you wanted to be.
That was quickly becoming Stiles’ catchphrase as of late as he tried to get everyone in his life to rely on him like they needed to but you didn’t bother bringing attention to that.
Instead, you gave Stiles’ hand a light squeeze, which he took as his go ahead.
You were ready.
Whether spurred on by your concern for Stiles or the gnawing hunger you were feeling, he wasn’t sure and it really didn’t matter. All he had to worry about tnow was Scott, and how he was going to react.
13 Days of Halloween 2021
Lydia Martin x Plus size!reader
Word Count: 2264 words
Warnings: none
Summary: Throwing a Halloween party for the pack with Lydia, because you’re tired of everyday being a nightmare and you want one night of easy fun
—————————————————————————————————
“What do you mean no? It’s Halloween Lyds” you groaned, confused for more than one reason.
Lydia loved parties.
She always had, and that was why you came to her first. If there was anyone in the world who was going to want to help you plan a party for your friends, it was your girlfriend but she wasn’t nearly as thrilled as you’d expected.
In fact, you could argue that she didn’t want to participate at all.
“I just don’t think it’s a good idea babe, every time we do something like that, it always goes wrong” the redhead allowed, not even hesitating to bring logic to the conversation, as she so often did.
She had a point, of course.
Lydia always had a point, but you didn’t want to just accept that right off the bat.
The pack had been through so much lately and just once, it would have been nice to have a night full of spooks without actually being in danger.
Running for your life all the time got old, but throwing parties was a high school staple. Everyone in high school threw and attended parties.
It was a normal thing to do and for once, you wanted to do a normal thing.
You wanted to have one night to just relax and celebrate, like you used to before your life was overrun by werewolves, hunters, and vengeful Japanese spirits.
All you wanted was to draw whiskers on your face and drink cheap booze with your friends. Was that so wrong?
You didn’t think so.
“But what if it didn’t? What if it was just a fun, normal night?” you proposed, hoping that would convince her. You knew that it wouldn’t, but you couldn’t just let this conversation die.
The pack needed this.
The last few months had been really hard, and after everything, you deserved to have a good time without constantly looking over your shoulder and waiting for everything to blow up in your face.
All of you did that enough already.
Lydia sighed, setting down her biology textbook and looking at you, a soft smile on her face as she tried her best to actually give your ideas a shot. It wouldn’t kill her to help you throw a party, unless of course, it did.
That was the worst case scenario.
“Then it would be like old times, when we used to throw parties” she shrugged, thinking back to the first time you and Lydia had ever done that together.
It was a back to school party, and the first time Lydia introduced you as her girlfriend to everyone she knew. That was a pretty special night and she thought about it all the time.
Even with as nervous as it made her, Lydia had to admit that it would be nice to get back to that, even for a night.
You had all been running for so long, fighting unforeseen enemies and doing everything you could just to survive, maybe you were right.
You’d certainly earned it.
“You loved those parties, can’t we just throw one more?” you pleaded, plopping down beside her on her bed, ignoring the task you’d been focused on in your own textbook. You hadn’t actually done any of your homework anyway.
All you could think about was how you didn’t have any plans for Halloween, and how much of a bummer that was.
It was one of your favorite holidays and the idea of skipping it was just too much.
It didn’t matter how potentially dangerous it was or how stupid and immature wanting to throw a party under the circumstances might have been, you couldn’t help it. Just this once, you wanted to be what you were.
You wanted to be a teenager trying to have a party with your girlfriend and your friends.
“You really want to do this?” Lydia hummed, watching your eyes sparkle as you thought about it, a soft smile on your face as you sensed what was coming. Deep down, you knew that you were winning her over.
Not that it took too much convincing on your end.
If she was really worried about how dangerous it could be, it wouldn’t have even been up for discussion in the first place.
The fact that she was willing to take it through meant that she was already halfway to your side.
You nodded, taking her hand in your own and giving it a gentle squeeze, proving just how much you wanted this. It was when she squeezed your hand back though that you knew, you knew that you’d won.
It was settled.
You were going to have a party.
...and it was going to be the best one yet.
You were gonna make sure of it.
~
“Should we have margaritas or rum and coke? I don’t want to just serve cheap vodka like we used to” Lydia wondered, still rushing around like a bee buzzing for honey, even though your friends were going to be here in half an hour.
It was hardly the time to be making impromptu decisions but you knew Lydia better than you knew yourself.
You had been expecting this.
The woman you loved had always liked parties done a certain way.
She bought as much punch and alcohol as she figured she could get away with, made some finger foods, put on a playlist and called it a day.
For her, it had always been more about appearances than anything else but it had been a long time since you’d done anything like this.
By now, the way you did parties was sure to have evolved. Besides, this wasn’t just any high school party.
This was a Halloween party.
She wanted everything to be perfect, not just because you were so excited about it, but because you were right. All of you needed this after everything you’d been through and that made it important.
“Margaritas are always a crowd pleaser” you shrugged, looking up from the cookies you’d been decorating with little jack o'lanterns.
She was panicking, of course, trying to put as many finishing touches on everything as she could but you both knew the truth.
As soon as she touched it the first time, it was perfect.
Lydia didn’t do anything if it wasn’t just right the first time.
“I doubt anybodies really going to drink anyway” she grumbled, reminding herself of the simple facts. This was your party for your pack, a party for your friends, and your friends aren't really big into the party scene.
They would like the snacks you’d made, she knew that, but this wasn’t going to be like the parties she used to throw.
This was going to be a more adult, less traditional party.
“Drinking or not, you know it’s going to be a good time. We look adorable” you grinned, looking down at the outfits she’d chosen for the two of you for tonight.
You were dressed like Velma from scooby doo and of course, Lydia was Daphne.
She had always been one of the redhead’s favorite characters growing up as a beautiful girl who often had her superior intellect looked over, but you were more than happy to play your role opposite her.
You looked amazing, and really, so did she.
“Yeah, I guess we do. I just want this to be the best party yet” she allowed, gently nuzzling into your side as you did your best to pipe a convincing grin onto the orange cookie in your grasp.
No matter what you did, they just looked more concerned than scary.
“And it’s going to be. Every Lydia Martin party I’ve ever gone to was legendary” you countered, pressing a soft kiss to the side of her face, before going a step further and handing her one of the cookies from your plate of finished ones.
She would never admit it to anyone other than you, but that girl had a sweet tooth on her like nobody's business.
Deep down, you knew she was more excited about these than the alcohol itself.
Not that you could blame her.
You had made these yourself, and they were really, really good.
“I guess you’re right, it’s Halloween after all. How hard could it be?” she teased, taking a bite out of the cookie once again with a small huff, coming to terms with everything.
The fact of the matter was that no matter what happened once your friends got here, there was nothing she could do to change it now. You two had planned the best party you could and you just had to wait.
It was all going to be fine.
“For you? Not hard at all” you answered, doing so just in time for the doorbell to ring, indicating that all your friends, or at least some of them, had found their way to the Martin house.
...and right on time too.
You smiled at Lydia, giving her one last reassuring squeeze around her middle before heading to answer the door. She’d gotten so worked up over this whole thing in the last ten minutes, you figured you could handle the greetings.
Those last couple of cookies would look better if she finished them up anyway.
“Hey, you guys look incredible” you grinned, opening the door to find both Scott and Stiles standing on the welcome mat, the rest of the pack following shortly behind them.
Stiles, unsurprisingly, was dressed like Luke Skywalker and his partner in crime had taken to being Darth Vader instead of Leia as you would have previously expected.
Everyone was dressed to the nines, and looked incredible, but more than anything else, they looked excited.
Of course they did.
You hadn’t gotten around to doing anything like this in a really long time. The group of you was constantly together, but you didn't ever just hang out like a group of friends should.
In that way, you would say this was a long time coming.
“So do you” Scott hummed, following you with the rest of your pack into the house, immediately greeted with the sounds of the season Lydia was playing over the speaker system.
Right now, it was the Monster Mash.
A minute ago, it was Thriller.
“We’ve got drinks, snacks, you know where everything is” you tried, finding it strange to speak to your friends in such a formal fashion.
It would seem that the hostess side of you had suffered greatly in the time you’d been dealing with werewolf business and trying to keep your girlfriend from going out of her mind.
Which, from the looks of her, was not off the roster for tonight.
Lydia had relaxed a little, coming down from the panic of which drinks to serve and which movies to offer but you knew that was only the beginning. You were going to have to keep her that relaxed all night.
Eventually, she would start to have fun.
This wasn’t one of those parties freshman year when she had to do everything herself and the entire student body was in attendance. This wasn’t one of those parties where Jackson would demand perfection from her and leave if she slipped up.
This was just you and your friends having a good time.
That was all.
“We figured we could watch some movies, and eat some snacks. Nothing major” you shrugged, taking the tray of cookies and setting it down on the kitchen island.
As soon as you sat it down, both Isaac and Liam made a B-line for it, more than ready to start downing as many treats as they could get their hands on.
“We just wanted everybody to be able to relax for once, and hang out” Lydia added, her demeanor softening even more as the minutes ticked by. You knew that it would, once she realized how different this was.
This was just as casual as anything else could have been.
...and that was what made it absolutely perfect.
“So, what are we watching?” Stiles wondered, plopping down on the Martin’s living room couch, a cup of coke in hand. Lydia had offered him rum, of course, but he’d politely refused.
He’d never really been one for drinking, and for the most part, it seemed like no one else was either.
You were all just too struck, enjoying the calm, peaceful energy that you so often searched for. Up until now, you weren’t even sure that it existed for any of you anymore.
...but it was.
You were enjoying it, right now.
“We got house of 1000 corpses” you grinned, waggling the dvd in front of you with that wicked grin on your face. You knew that it was something that a lot of people didn’t want to watch, but you didn’t care.
At least for Halloween, it was worth the watch.
Besides, you really wanted to watch Stiles squirm around on the couch, shielding his eyes from the screen, without ever admitting that it was freaking him out.
It was scary, really scary and deeply unsettling but you couldn't help yourself. This was part of relaxing for you, and part of enjoying what normal people got to enjoy.
You wanted to watch a movie and get scared.
At least this way, you could be scared the right way, without having to get stabbed or attacked by some kind of monster, hunting you down or trying to get something from you that you didn’t have a chance of giving.
It was the perfect way to relax on Halloween, just like normal people did.
Derek Hale x Plus size!reader
Word Count: 1580 words
Warnings: Reader is hurt, real bad.
Summary: Derek finding out that the girl he loved as a kid got into a serious accident and he can't help himself
—————————————————————————————————
He hadn’t seen you in years.
Derek wasn’t even sure you were still in Beacon Hills, until he found out about the accident. It was in the news, as plenty of the dangerous accidents in the area were, but something was different about this one.
When the dark haired male heard the news in passing, at first, he did nothing. Every little thing that happened in this place was of no interest to him but the second he heard your name, he stopped.
It was as if the world had stopped around him, every cell in his body forcing him to pay attention to the screen.
There was nothing supernatural about it, no monster to be slain or anything like that. It was nothing more than a car accident, something that could have happened to anyone, something almost too normal to occupy so much of his mind.
However, it didn’t just happen to anyone. This had happened to you, and based on what the report had said, the doctors weren’t all that hopeful that you were going to pull through. In fact, it sounded almost as if they had given up hope entirely.
That just wasn’t going to work.
Immediately, all Derek could think about was you laying in that hospital bed, all alone and struggling to hold on. It wasn’t right, for someone like you to go out that way, so before he could talk himself out of it, he made up his mind.
It was stupid.
It was reckless.
It was necessary.
No matter what happened, Derek knew that he had to do something to save you. He had a gift, something he could do, and if he chose not to do anything about it, it was almost as if he’d killed you himself.
...And he promised you that would never happen.
As Derek ran in the direction of the hospital, his feet hammering against the ground as he moved, all he could think about was that day. That same day he promised you that he would never let anything happen to you.
You were kids, before the fire consumed everything in his life, and you couldn’t have been closer. You had always been Derek’s best friend, and he told you everything, even things he kept from his own mother.
It was just the kind relationship you shared.
You told him everything and trusted him with your life, as he did with you.
It wasn’t easy, of course. In fact, most of the time, it was more dangerous than anything else, but you didn’t worry about it. Being human and having attached yourself to the side of a werewolf wasn’t exactly safe to begin with and you knew the risks.
Derek was worth it to you.
He had always been worth it.
That day, the one full of promises, had come after the first time Derek ever lost control in front of you. You were terrified, as you should have been, and could hardly look him in the eye. He was sure you would leave him there, and never look back, but you didn’t.
Though, looking back, perhaps you should have.
You cared about one another enough to make the risk seem worth it but the fact was that Derek was dangerous, for a really long time, hanging on by a string. He was out of control most of the time, adn could fly off the handle for no reason.
Not even you could stop it.
After the fire, he only got worse.
He was angry, and hurt, and lost. He didn’t have anything to hold on too, except for you, and even that only presented itself like too great a risk. He knew that if he wasn’t careful, Derek would end up getting you killed too.
So, he pushed you away.
He pushed you away until you didn’t have much of a choice but to leave him be, which is exactly what happened.
That was a long time ago now, and he hadn’t seen you since then. However, as questionable as the choices he was making were, he couldn’t stop himself. Derek knew that he could deal with everything else later, all he had to do now was making sure you didn’t die.
...And that was the one thing he could control.
By the time he reached the hospital, he was sure that his feet were probably bleeding from the damage he’d just put them through but he didn’t pay that any mind. Instead, he headed right to the front desk, breath raging through his nostrils.
“I’m here to see Y/N Y/L/N, please. She’s the only family I have” he explained, doing his best not to get into the details of it while also giving enough for her to let him pass. All he could do was try and thankfully, she let him through.
They didn’t have much information about you other than what was on your I.D and if he had anything additional about you to tell them that would help, she didn't dare turn him away.
In all honesty though, Derek didn’t hear much more than that initial allowance and your room number before he took off in that direction. Nothing else mattered, and seeing as he was in a hospital, no one really questioned it.
Terrible things were happening all over, and whatever was happening to him, they understood the need to rush.
You looked terrible.
As soon as he saw you, Derek felt his heart sink.
The accident had really done a number on you, and it looked like they had you hooked up to every machine they had. Clearly, whatever they had wasn’t going to be able to pull you out of whatever this was.
Luckily, that was why he was here.
Derek had the only thing in the world that could keep your heart beating, assuming that your body accepted it, the bite. There was no guarantee that it was going to go well, or that you were going to be okay, but he had to try.
If he did nothing, you were going to die anyway, so anything he had couldn’t hurt.
Then, before Derek could think of any more risky reasons not to do what he was going to do, he reached out and took your practically limp wrist in his hands. You really weren’t doing well, but he just had to hope this would be enough.
If it wasn't, he didn’t know what he was going to do.
There weren’t many more viable options after werewolf bite, but nevertheless, the deed was done.
Now, all he could do was wait.
~
It took half an hour.
Half and hour and the bite still hadn’t seemed to be doing much for you at first. To be fair, most of your systems were almost entirely out of play. Thankfully, before too long, your pulse started to pick up and it seemed to be working.
It was all Derek could have hoped for in coming here, and it would have been a lie to say that he didn’t feel more relief in that moment than he had in his entire life at it having been a success.
Though, it brought him even more relief when you sat up, all the color returning to your face and a gasp for air on your lips. You were panicked, of course, trying to recall how you had gotten to this hospital in the first place and what was going on.
Not that any of that came before the man sitting at the side of your bed, staring at you with expectant eyes.
“Hi”
Derek spoke first, though the word felt like sandpaper leaving his throat. After all this time, there should have been more than he could say. There should have been more that came to mind but it just wasn’t there.
By all accounts, he couldn’t think of a single thing to say.
He could have started with explaining that you were nearly killed in a head on collision on the street, or that he had given you a bite that would change your life forever and turn you into a slave to the moon.
It was far from an ice breaker.
“Derek? What is going on? What are you doing here?” you asked, rubbing your eyes aggressively to clear the harsh lighting and fuzzy glaze from your eyes. You were trying your best to make this make sense, but it wasn’t working.
You were lost.
...And frankly, Derek wasn’t doing much better than you were in that way.
“I have a lot to explain to you, but this isn’t the place” he suggested, fully aware that nothing about this place was going to make this conversation any easier to swallow. Besides, it was hardly where he wanted to tell you that he had bitten you.
Of course, it was a bit easier considering that you already knew about the supernatural side of Beacon Hills. At least he didn’t have to have the ‘werewolves are real’ conversation with you like he had with Scott.
Nothing he was saying made any sense, or really helped make you feel more at peace with this whole thing but you figured he was here, so it wouldn’t kill you to trust him. After all, he had saved your life plenty of times before.
You had trusted him for most of your life, and it certainly wouldn’t kill you to do it one more time.
Summary: Isaac losing control during one of the lacrosse games and you go to check on him
—————————————————————————————————
You and Isaac didn’t have anything in common.
In general, the two of you had less of a relationship than any of the other members of the pack simply because you didn’t have anything to talk about. You weren’t friends, you didn’t have any classes together, the only time you even saw much of each other was when the packs got together.
It wasn’t that big of a deal.
However, just because you didn’t really understand Isaac and the two of you didn’t have much of a relationship to begin with didn’t mean you wanted anything to happen to him, and you certainly didn’t want him to be alone.
It was no secret that his home life was far from easy, and other than his dad and the pack, he didn’t have anyone else.
He just struck you as one of those people who could use someone who always had his back, and there was no reason you couldn’t be that for him.
Everyone had bad days, and just needed someone to make sure that they were alright. That was how you knew that you were human, but as it would turn out, werewolves had those bad days too.
If anything, they had more than humans did.
The push and pull of the moon and the unpredictability of it made it really difficult to know when something bad was happening or when they could use someone to vent to but you didn’t have to be a mind reader to know that Isaac was struggling.
Even from where you were sitting in the stands, you could see how hard he was breathing behind his lacrosse helmet, and how tense he must have been. Not to  mention that if the other team made another goal,  you were positive someone was going home in a full body cast and it wasn’t going to be him.
Someone needed to do something.
The secret you were all doing your very best to hide away was in jeopardy in these moments and you weren’t about to let him put every one of your lives in danger because the team was having an off night.
It wasn’t worth that to you.
So, when you could tell that he’d finally had enough and Isaac sped off of the field in the direction of the locker room, you knew that you had to do something to try and calm him down.
 Just because he knew well enough to get out of view of the general public didn’t mean someone wasn’t going to get hurt. You had been learning a lot about calming them down when they got stressed out with Liam, and Isaac was no different.
In fact, you knew that if you could handle Liam at his most angry, Isaac would be a cake walk.
You saw Scott falter out on the field, watching both Isaac and you head off in the direction of the school but you shot him a thumbs up, your way of letting him know that you could handle it.
The idea of it made him a little nervous, as he always was as the true alpha, but he knew that if you thought you could handle it, you could. After all, you had already shown him a million times that you weren’t scared of them.
You had no reason to be.
If Isaac wanted to hurt you, he could have very well done it before now and besides, if someone had to get hurt because of his upset, you would much rather it be you than an innocent on the other end of those claws..
At least you knew what you were up against.
“Isaac?” you called, doing your best to keep your voice down while still alerting him to your presence, careful to lock the locker room door behind you. If someone else needed to get in here, you were sure it would be under less drastic circumstances.
Everything else could wait.
“Isaac? It’s Y/N” you hummed, doing your best to keep your calm, though there was a sense of unease in the dark locker room. You had no idea where he was, and knowing the state he’d been in when he came in here, that was hardly comforting.
Wherever he was, at the very least, you knew he wasn’t in a good place. You knew just how much Isaac liked to hear himself talk and the silence was more than enough to confirm your suspicions.
There was a sound on the other end of the locker room, similar to metal clanking down on the concrete but before you could make your way over to investigate it, Isaac was on you.
He was all snarling, gnashing teeth, and muscle as he shoved your plush frame against the tile wall of the showers, effectively knocking the wind out of you completely in a way that you couldn't have seen coming, as obvious as it was.
...but you didn’t let that deter you.
It might have hurt you on the surface but you knew that something like that was only temporary for you. You weren't some porcelain doll that would shatter if you so much as breathed on it the wrong way.
The bite had made sure of that.
“Ow” you groaned, through gritted teeth as you did your best to get a grip on Isaac’s shoulders, his yellow eyes boring into your own as he tried to get the better of you. Right now, he wasn’t in control and that made this much harder.
There was no arguing with a feral wolf, after all.
“Isaac, it’s Y/N. I need you to calm down before you make me do something you won’t like” you warned, already well aware that you were going to have to resort to some kind of physical action before he mauled you like a bear.
Thankfully, the same tile wall that you were forced against as you spoke provided the perfect blunt object for you to work around.
When Isaac showed no signs of stopping, you made up your mind. Using all the weight you had and a fair amount of your own superhuman strength, you flipped your two bodies so that you could get the upper hand on him.
Physically, Isaac had an advantage over you due to sheer size and mass but when it came to raw strength and wit, you had him beat.
Right now, his mind was too foggy and preoccupied with rage that he couldn’t think straight enough to actually comprehend what you were doing.
Not that that mattered all that much. All you could care about right now was getting him to stop what he was doing and-
“Calm Down!”
You showed no hesitation as you forced his solid body against the wall and pinned him there, his eyes still burning into your face. Then, as you had learned from both Stiles and Scott with Liam, you turned the dial on the shower to the coldest it could go.
If he wasn’t going to calm down himself, you were going to force it out of him with ice cold water.
As soon as the water hit his skin, he roared, jolting against your tight hold as he tried to get away from both the unending stream of water and your tight hold on him but you weren’t going to let him get away with it that easily.
He wasn’t getting out of here until it was safe for everyone else out there.
“Isaac! You can hear me, I know you can. You need to calm down” you urged, grabbing his face in your hands and forcing him to look at you. He was trying to fight this, and you knew that he could, all you had to do was try.
You had seen him snap out of this a million times before and there was no reason he couldn’t do it again right now.
...And thankfully, you were right.
After a few more minutes of yelling in his face and standing under the ice cold steam of water, Isaac had finally calmed down enough for you to turn off the water.
By the time he had stopped fighting against you with all his strength, your own muscles were burning but you didn’t mind the tension in your body as you sat down on the tile floor beside him, both of you soaking wet and exhausted.
“You’re even more hard-headed out of control, you know that?” you scoffed, resting your head against the cool tiles.
You were both breathing heavily, trying to recover from the endeavor you’d just been a part of but Isaac managed a dry laugh through the breathing raging through his nose.
“You’re bleeding” he muttered, after a few more minutes of silence between the two of you, the entire locker room full of the sounds of your labored breath, and the distant cheering of the crowd out on the field.
In the scramble, you hadn’t noticed but he must have nicked your flesh because when you brought your hand up to where he was gesturing, you found a bit of ruby red blood on your fingers, mixing with the water droplets already on your skin.
It didn't hurt, and you were sure that it would heal before you even made your way back to the lacrosse game, but that didn’t change the fact that Isaac felt terrible about it. He should have been more in control than he was.
You never should have been there in the first place.
“Don’t worry about it, it’s just a scratch” you sighed, wiping it away with your hand as if that would somehow make him forget about it.
It wasn’t that big of a deal.
At least, it wasn’t a big deal to you.
Isaac seemed rather focused on the blood beading up on your skin from the cut, which seemed much deeper than he originally assumed it was as he looked at it.
“What are you doing here? Where’s Scott? Or Derek?” he questioned, that familiar attitude finding its way back to his tone as he returned to the Isaac you knew.  One of them was always the one to take care of them when something like this happened, and if they’d been here, you wouldn’t have gotten hurt.
It was stupid for you to try and do this on your own.
“Scott’s on the field, and Derek is MIA for the time being” you shrugged, standing from where you had been perched and straightening your appearance in the mirror. It didn’t matter all that much, of course, because you were still soaked to the bone, but the thought made you feel better.
You didn’t even bother to help Isaac to his feet, as he was clearly back to normal and didn’t need you to go out of your way for him.
Now that he was alright, you were reminded why you two weren’t that close in the first place.
“You know I could have killed you, right?” he groaned, standing from the floor on  his own, making it clear just how much damage he’d done to his own muscles in the feverish fight you two had been engaged in previously.
He was going to be feeling it pretty bad for the next few minutes while those muscle fibers knit themselves back together.
You couldn’t help but roll your eyes, not at all surprised by how self involved he always seemed to be. Clearly, if he could have killed you, he would have, and yet, here you were, very much alive. So either, he was bluffing, or had no real idea what he was capable of.
Neither of which you were all that interested in.
“Usually, when someone helps you out, it's easier to just thank them” you countered, turning around to find him sitting on the bench behind you, his fingers digging into his shoulder where he’d just found a searing pain.
You had probably left a pretty gnarly scratch of your own there while you were trying to get a handle on him.
“Stop pawing at that” you tutted, closing the space between you just enough to pull back the collar of his shirt to inspect what you were already sure was there.
It would heal regardless of if he touched it or not but it would heal faster if he left it alone. You would have thought he understood that  by now.
“Thank you, but please don’t do that anymore'' he grumbled, looking up at you with that same dismissive look in his eyes that you’d been trying to get him to let go of this entire time.
There was nothing wrong with the two of you having a conversation, and there was certainly nothing wrong with him letting you help him sometimes.
You all needed help sometimes, that was what you had a pack for in the first place.
“You are so unbelievable. Is it really so bad that I came to help you?” you groaned, tired of him being so cagey with all of you. You understood that he had a hard time trusting people, and you weren’t going to act like he shouldn’t have, but this was different.
All you were trying to do was help him not hurt himself.
“This is the longest conversation you and I have ever had, you know that?” he hummed, trying to think back to any point in the past when the two of you had even been alone together for this long, or at all. You didn't know the first time about each other, but you were right.
You had come here to help him, even when you didn’t have to. You could have just as easily let him suffer through this alone.
“Why is that?”
You weren’t looking at him anymore, but that didn’t matter. You knew that he was looking at you, trying to figure out what it was about you that he’d always had trouble figuring out. Clearly, you were a perfectly good person, and he’d been so shitty to you.
It didn’t make sense, even to him.
“You care about people a lot, and I didn’t want to be one of those people you had to worry about” he shrugged, making it seem like that was some kind of deep, meaningful reason but  you knew better than that.
That wasn’t what it was.
That wasn’t even close to what it was.
“That’s a lie, and you know it” you scoffed, finally turning around to meet his eyes again. He wanted everyone to think that he was so independent and closed off from his feelings, but that couldn't have been farther from the truth.
You saw right through that, because you knew it was the easiest excuse he could make himself believe.
 “I think you’re scared of letting anyone in because you don’t want to be abandoned, and it's easier to be alone than it is to be lonely” you explained, talking about him as if you could see right through his skin into the heart beating in his chest.
He didn’t say anything.
For the first time in his entire life, Isaac was speechless but it wasn’t because he didn’t have anything to say. There were a million words swirling around in his head, trying desperately to form any words at all but it just didn’t happen.
No one had even known him like that, because no one had ever looked at him like that.
No one had ever paid attention.
“But you aren’t alone, so you need to stop acting like it” you shrugged, unlatching the door of the locker room and swinging it open to find Scott waiting for you there. He had clearly heard the entire conversation, but you didn’t care about that.
He smiled at you slightly, looking between the two of you as gingerly as he could, the air in the room heavy and dense.
It was clear that whatever it was that was going on between the two of you, it was far from over but based on the way you two were avoiding looking at one another, it was bound to resolve itself in time.
