{¤} Vivian is caught off guard by the question, far more used to people pointing out other things about her. The more time went on, the more people found to criticize about her—like how her father calls her outfits "funeral clothes" or how her father complains over her draining the house of color when she's upset despite knowing it's something she can't control. Having someone look at her in awe for being a bird is leagues better than any of that, even if it seems odd.

If Vivian had to take a guess, she'd assume this guy has been isolated for a while. She hadn't focused on learning divination when her magic was still at its strongest and wouldn't be able to use any psychic abilities even if she wanted to, so her guess is about as good as anyone else's.

Not wanting to be rude to the stranger, Vivian smiles and nods in agreement.

"Yes, I am a bird. A duck, to be specific." Vivian tilts her head, her brows furrowing in concern. "Are you alright, sir? I know this probably feels a little disorienting..." {¤}

'A duck! Of course. A duck...' He chirps. 'A fellow bird! I'm a crow, I think?' Its pretty obvious he's also a duck; clearly a misinformed duck.

Is he alright? No. He's on edge constantly and his memory is patchy and somehow everyone or everything he meets makes him feel unnerved and wrong. But-

'Of course, I'm always fine.' He lies through his beak.

'I am simply trying to find my way back home. Any clues?

'Yes, yes good boy.' Duck responds, his tone dismissing, but not deviod of relief. When Yellow paints, he often gets it everywhere and leaves the bottles lay around the kitchen for Duck to step on. Its usually a colour explosion. With the news Yellow has given him; he hopes to find the room spotless.

Perhaps a little too optimistic..

Duck hops up to inspect the state of the kitchen, suspicion creeping in. 'Show me where you put them.' He adds, dubiously.

He explains for the second time, not because he suspects the officer isn't listening, but because he himself, is finding the details too vague.

He's visiblly distressed, but unable to provide simple information like his own name or address or even much about the people he's looking for. 'One of them is red and the other one is yellow and they-...um...not that's not right, is it?'

“Alright...alright, take a deep breath, sir.” Nick tried reassuring the other with a hint of calmness and kindness, a soft frown plastering across his face. “Alright, we got a couple of details. You’re lost, looking for your house and your family...” It seems as if the other can’t provide any details about his own name or address or anything in general that could have Nick help this poor citizen.

“One of your family member is red and the other one is yellow? Do you know what species they could be, sir?” Nick hated to be alone when working but he was assigned to patrol alone by Chief Buffalo Butt. “It’s okay…I will be right here with you. Take as long as you’d need, alright?”
