-in regards to me appropriating ocs and causing unicornofgt’s gtms to implode - i really want to reiterate to my followers i do NOT want attention, or pity, or support or defense. I’m not here now to garner sympathy or love. i just wanted to at least address the ripple that my irresponsibility caused. i don’t condone any form of bullying or side taking or justification or. analyzing people in my name. i do not know 98% of you and you do not know me. i’m just an internet person facing my mistakes, please don’t rush to my defense just because you liked my art. real people have been hurt and driven away because i was self centered and didn’t discuss or give her space to express important boundaries, and i handled the aftermath poorly.

Yo WTF those weren't Cham's characters??? That is insane!? I'd been seeing art of those characters everywhere on twitter. At the time I'd started working seriously on my G/t narrative that I wanted to make into a show pitch and saw how well Cham's art was being received it made me really excited to bring my ideas forward but knowing she was basically using someone else's characters and stories is wild. I'm sorry unicornofgt and bolshoycorvid got run off writers do have a tough time in fandoms and things like this
Nope, they were 100% not her characters in the slightest. I don't even know if she bothered to be the tiniest bit original and at least make her own OCs in the GTMS universe (a universe she didn't create to begin with), but for the vast majority of her art they all belonged to unicornofgt (and occasionally she would draw bolshoycorvid's characters too...still entirely uncredited)

You can read the full thing on showrunnerihardlyknowher's blog, but it goes beyond hyperfixation friend, really. Cham really did a number...she'd take these characters that belonged to unicorn and never credit them back to her on all of her social media. People would ask questions about them to Cham and she would still answer them instead of letting unicorn speak for her own characters. She did that whole thing with letting minors into servers. I can't go into as many details in an ask as is on that post but...yeah, it's yikes
Yeah it's the whole taking someone's OCs and basically making them her own publicly. I understand loving a friend's OCs to the point of hyperfixation, currently there too, but you don't take them out of their hands to show them on your social medias, especially without credits.
And allowing minors on the servers when I remember unicornofgt being very clear about gtms not be written for minors and being uncomfortable with minors lurking on their account. That is also scummy indeed.

I’ve finally hopped on the bandwagon and made myself a gtms oc. (1 of 5).
Enjoy.
Genesis Blair is a core, her pilot is an idiot man named Tobias.
She’s related to @enbyleavablefrog ‘s gtms boyo, Myra.
(I’ll draw him whenever art block dies. )

basically, i’m new to the g/t community and found out that chamomile-g-tea has made her following from stealing and capitalizing on other peoples work. mainly characters that belong unicornofgt. she routinely doesn’t give credit to unicornofgt.
i want people to know this just because i don’t want ppl to support an artist that steals from others.
you can read more about exactly how she’s hurt unicornofgt on unicornofgt’s blog on tumblr and on showrunnerihardleyknowher’s blog too.
peace & love <3
Oh wow
I knew those two had a falling out and based on unicornofgt's post about it, I assumed it was simply a matter of lack of boundaries respect from a neurodivergent extrovert and to a neurodivergent introvert in their friendship because of the discord server Chamomile-g-tea put up that unicornofgt wasn't comfortable with.
Chamomile-g-tea hasn't posted new gtms drawings since then so I thought it was left as is and she moved on ?
From what I remember, she was the original brainstormer of the concept of gtms with someone else and then unicornofgt created the characters and wrote the story based on that concept. She was inside the creating process of gtms from the beginning from what I remember.
Now yeah, the drawings belongs to her but she shouldn't post them without crediting unicornofgt if she does. The OCs still belongs to unicornofgt. Though I haven't seen her post those drawings again. Did she removed the credits on them or has she posted them somewhere else ? Genuinely asking, I haven't dug much on the issue past "Oh she's not hyperfixating on gtms anymore ?" after a few weeks without new gtms drawings and then "Ah, friendship fallout, that explains it." from unicornofgt's post.
I wasn't in the discord so idk about what happened there. I've heard she let in minors which is icky because of unicornofgt being uncomfy with minors reading the story. She made it clear multiple times that gtms was 16+ (or 18+, i don't remember exactly...). . So from my understanding the issue was between an artist too extra about her hyperfixation and the writer wanting more privacy on her work. So more of a boundary problem on Chamomile-g-tea's part.
But that's the extent of what I perceived on the matter, someone please let me know if there is something else i'm missing ?
