I finished the socks for @it-is-no-use!! They haven't been blocked yet, and I may not block them, but they are done! Hopefully these ones actually fit.
No pattern, these are just vanilla socks done in stockinette stitch, with 1X1 ribbing for the cuff and shadow wrap short row heels. Yarn is Herrshners 2-ply Fashion Yarn in color number 0007, SecretGrd. I couldn't find it on Herrshners when I checked last, so it may not be made anymore, the balls I used were received in a destash.

Another pair of socks! Somehow, all I wanna do at the moment is knitting stockinette while watching TV

Finished my first pair of socks!
Despite starting the second sock on a new yarn ball they still didn't match lol might be a combo of different dye lots plus my gauge was a bit tighter on the second sock. Very proud of it still tho!

Made it Monday
Finally! I think I’ve been working on these socks off and on for at least a year. I started off trying Crazy Sick Lady Vanilla Socks on Hiya Hiya Flyers then moved the project to Chiaogoo red-laced short cable needles. All that was too fiddly for me. I eventually transferred the socks to a long Chiaogoo red-laced cable of the same size. Finally, I felt I could finish.
Let me say, I don’t like…

Belated WIP Wednesday!
Up first we have a pair of vanilla socks being worked two at a time using magic loop. These are meant for my partner, @it-is-no-use, since the first pair I made were too small. This time I have sock blockers I'm measuring against, so hopefully they'll be the right size!
Yarn was gifted, and I don't have the label anymore, but I believe it was Herrshner's brand. Pattern is just plain stockinette with a shadow wrap heel. I used this variation from The Chilly Dog on YouTube.
Whenever I get bored of only working knit stitches, I work on my lace shawl! I'm currently working on the last chart, and afterwards I may find another shawl to cast on.
Yarn is Malabrigo, pattern is the Seaweed and Sand pi shawl, which is free on Ravelry.

An old WIP, only three weeks shy of it’s 4th birthday. I started the first sock before I learned that I twist all my purls, so one sock has twisted stitches in the ribbing and the heel flap.

I’ve cracked why Dan comes off as so much more unhinged than Herbert does. Like let’s be clear it’s very apparent that there is damn near nothing stable or well adjusted about Herbert, but he’s upfront and open about what a little freak he is, that compounded with what appears to be happiness in Bride makes him feel far more domesticated. Dan’s still trying(and failing) to be a good, pure, All-American boy. That is what makes him so off putting. Like Herbert’s the kid that walks around school who would hiss at you but Dan is the kid who will blow up an any moment. Like when you look at Dan there is nothing but poorly masked insanity in his eyes. He LOOKS like the kind of guy who sees together dead body parts in his basement and would (likely) kill somebody with his bare hands if you call him out. Fucking insane

One-Liner Wednesday
Linda’s One-Liner Wednesday
One tink, two tink, three tink four
This is what I’m knitting for?
I have spent my day knitting and then tinking on this pair of socks.
I started out with a blue denim yarn for the heel. The dye was turning my fingers blue and it wasn’t very soft. I tried and tinked a couple of times but hated the yarn. So I tinked back to the bluish white acrylic yarn.
Finally, I…
