Give me that sweet backstory for Sunscar

Finally, thank you I'm about to pop OFF

So Thunderclan's leader currently is Venusstar and the deputy is his mate Mossypelt. They've had A LOT of litters together because Venusstar is an absolute madman, so a good amount of Thunderclan is related to each other in some form (siblings, cousins, etc). That's made mating complicated. Now Venusstar has always been a loose and unorthodox leader, so it wasn't a surprise to anyone when he gave his clan permission to go out and mate with other cats outside of the clan. Sunpaw was one of the few cats that had no relation to Venusstar so it was especially important for him to one day find a mate outside of the clan and bring a kit back.

Sunpaw meets Palepaw, a riverclan apprentice at a gathering. He was very much in love with her from the start and often got into gladiator like fights in an attempt to win her affection and eventually he did. When they became Sunface and Palestream they had a secret mating ceremony (like a wedding)! Not long after the ceremony Palestream was expecting his kits, Sunface happily reported to Venusstar who congratulated him. He'd sneak into riverclan territory to check on Palestream almost every night. She gave birth to Foamkit (later our darling boy Salamanderkit) and Softkit. Sunface was full of so much joy he cried, they were so little and he already loved them so much.

The plan originally was that Sunface would take Foamkit back with him and Palestream would keep Softkit with her, but as expected the twins were already so attached to each other and Palestream loved both of her kits more than all the water in the world. She couldn't split them up and she couldn't bare to be separated from either of them. As much as it hurt, Sunface respected her decision and told her to take good care of their kits. He nuzzled his family and parted ways.

Sunface, while not actively part of his family's lives loves them all so much and is so proud of how his kits grew up and accepts Salamandersplash as his son entirely. He wants to one day properly meet his kits and he hopes as deputy that one day will be real soon. At some point later on down the line Sunface got into a nasty fight that resulted in the scar on his face so he was renamed Sunscar. He was named deputy not long after that when Mossypelt stepped down.
