DIY SUMMER: Groovy button-ups and hand-painted jackets to get your Sims ready for summer!
Download: Here (SFS)
I love sewing and DIY projects IRL, but I realllly don't need more fabric in my stash so I made these instead. 🧵
These are recolors of base game meshes, so no mesh is needed! The crochet shirt uses a crochet pattern I made in Substance Designer, so it has a normal map and is alpha mapped to be transparent in between the crochet parts, which looks v nice. The solid shirts are made from vintage tea towels and ... towel towels ... which I sourced images for from from Ebay/Etsy. 🌈🌻🪐🎵

This exhibit draws on the permanent collection of the Art Institute, so it is not as large as some traveling shows, but it promises to offer everything from examples of pre-made embroideries waiting to be cut out and applied to garments to actual finished garments from across the globe.

Putting some final touches on this groovy button-ups! The crochet pattern was especially fun to make.
I'm very into sewing and DIY in real life, but I already have a sizable collection of vintage fabrics and textiles... so instead of buying more, I made these!
