According to a recent interview with Nintendo's Kensuke Tanabe, he thinks that Birdo might be a "wayoshi" in a way. Any thoughts on this? I can kinda see it. They're both dinosaur-like, Birdo spits eggs, Yoshi pops them out on the other end, she's anti-heroine, while he's a hero.

I can see his mindset on that yeah.

I find his comment on how Waluigi isn’t something he’s in charge of to be pretty interesting, does make you wonder what internal talks there are at Nintendo, when it comes to using certain characters.
