1. Azula ATLA - she's a girlboss. she's a pathetic poor little meow meow. she's a manipulative mastermind. she's a socially awkward wreck. she's a child soldier whose mother left her & who's father treated her like a weapon. she's the most formidable villain the heroes have ever faced. i love her

2. Ashley Graves TCOAAL - a controversial pick MAYBE but I love to see a demon-worshipping cannibal queen winning (committing unspeakable acts but it's ok because her mom didn't love her & also she is baby have u considered that?) i think ashley should be allowed to commit all the atrocities she wants as a treat on the grounds that her parents were so awful they left her to starve to death & before that, pretended not to notice when she & her brother accidentally killed a girl in middle school

3. Natalie Scatorcio, Yellowjackets - 2 cannibal queens in a row I must have a type <3 I love a tragic hero who is also a violent, dangerous & unstable individual. forgiveness is a nice idea but my poor doomed antler queen will never live to see it... she was a gentle soul (ignore the atrocities) who never got to see a single moment of peace or gentleness in her life

4. Sam Carpenter, Scream - it was nearly impossible for me to pick between my best girls Sidney, Emma, & Sam for this list but I have to go Sam. she's the daughter of a serial killer. she enjoys stabbing people. she sees visions of her dead dad telling her to kill but she loves her friends & her sister more than anything. i adore my dangerous & violent but also oh so sweet babygirl

5. Faith Lehane Buffy the Vampire Slayer - listen, Buffy is the obvious choice for the best character in Buffy OFC. but have you considered. faith is broken & hurt & a little crazy with jealousy & obsession with buffy. she's the dark slayer. she has a dynamic with the wacky evil demonic town mayor that mirrors buffy's relationship with her wholesome (mostly. sometimes demon rebelly) librarian mentor as the dark side of the coin. she's never had anyone pick her first & it kills her but she pretends she doesn't care. i'd die for her

6. Baby Firefly - this time not a confirmed cannibal but my girl is into corpse desecration & necrophilia so I think this is a great list that proves I have excellent taste in fictional characters. "there is no wrong. if someone needs to be killed you kill 'em! that's the way :)"

7. Beth Salinger, Hostel 2 - fave final girl my bestie had a hot lesbian enemies to almost lovers to beheading you & playing soccer with the head dynamic with an evil secret society member who tried to lure her to her death. she also cut off the penis of the man who dared to fuck with her & fed it to a dog so like what more can you even want from a character <3

8. Dennis Reynolds IASIP - having dennis as my fave is soo embarrassing he's such a basic fave but genuinely he's SO fucking pathetic & sad beneath the layers of fake manipulative suave cool rich kid that he thinks he conveys (he doesn't). he's literally just a sad little girl who falls apart & curls up on he ground crying when things get overwhelming. everyone who doesn't understand him thinks he's a mastermind serial killer but they are FALLING FOR HIS ACT

9. Katherine Pierce TVD - THEY HATE TO SEE A GIRLBOSS WINNINGGGGGGG (I don't know Scarlet Witch but I think it's funny to steal the description for #9 for Katherine from the person who tagged me in this hehe) anyway it's funny for me to pick Katherine when I named my cat damon & I have a ginormous shirtless poster of ian somerhalder literally over my bed I'm looking at it right now BUT hear me out. Katherine is my real fave. unforgivable villain who always chooses herself first & also mirrors the protagonist & also she was just a girl once too, a pregnant, scared young girl. if the writers cared about me specifically at all we would've gotten a spin off of Katherine & her daughter instead of what we got

10. Annie Edison Community - much like with buffy the vampire slayer & buffy summers, there is a correct answer to which community character is objectively the best & it's obviously abed. BUT my subjective fave that I latch onto is annie. she's just so babygirl. she had a nervous breakdown in high school because she was always too perfect. she's just out of rehab for adderall when we meet her but it's mostly only referenced or flashed back to as a joke. we never meet her parents but the quotes she references from them are deeply disturbing if you turn off the laugh track & pay attention. she has a fucked up relationship with her good older male friend because #daddy issues. she is obsessed with true crime. there's a monkey named after her boobs. she's the ONLY member of the study group who could've EVER lived with troy & abed & incorporated herself into their dynamic the way she does in episodes like foosball & nocturnal vigilantism. my girl is so silly & a little crazy <3

ok here we go:

blorbo (favorite character, character I think about the most)

it used to be odo but now by far sisko, mainly because the benny russell plotline is my absolute favorite star trek plot ever. is he sisko or benny.... if he ascended to the prophets or whatever did he create benny?? if benny russell was a real author in strange new worlds... what does that mean. "you are the dreamer and the dream" is rotating in my microwave brain constantly. odo is still my emo repressed babygirl though.

scrunkly (my “baby”, character that gives me cuteness aggression, character that is So Shaped)

if couples count, worf and jadzia. yes they can and have gotten away with murder yes i still want to put them in a little jar on my desk. they're legitimately one of the best written tv couples ever. worf is the wife and jadzia is the husband though

scrimblo bimblo (underrated/underappreciated fave)

damar, im not saying hes a good person or anything but his arc was so interesting to me and he did have his very good moments at the end

glup shitto (obscure fave, character that can appear in the background for 0.2 seconds and I won’t shut up about it for a week)

rom and leeta. roms development was also SO good and leeta is the cutest side character ever i love her. like star trek does not get better than wimpy alien man finding his passion for engineering and falling in love with his hooters waitress wife who helps him form a union. that was peak cinema

poor little meow meow (“problematic”/unpopular/controversial/otherwise pathetic fave)

i cant think of a character that's necessarily unpopular... maybe lwaxana?? i know she was like a minor villain in tng but i loved her in that ep where she hung out with alexander, and her friendship with odo later on in the show was actually super cute to me. she is a queen idc what tng says. headcanon she's still like alexanders cool aunt and worf is very tired.

also near the end... kai winn?? i do not like her or think she was a good person at all but i did feel bad for her for maybe two seconds near the end. i dont know she spent her life wanting to talk to god only for some alien guy to become emissary so while shes evil and i hate her i kinda have pity for her so shes my meow meow idk

horse plinko (character I would torment for fun, for whatever reason)

dukat for sure. i would drop dukat in hot soup. definitely the best written star trek villain though and marc alaimo is such a good actor, every time i watch a dukat ep im like how does alaimo act so well that i genuinely hate this man with a passion

eeby deeby (character I would send to superhell)

kai winn. i know i just said shes my meow meow but i hate her i hate her. same thing with marc alaimo though, louise fletcher was such a good actor that for 45 minutes i hated her like she was real dude

Hal:

Sexuality Headcanon: He's pansexual AND panromantic. Who has the time to care about gender when you have alien love at your disposal? Hell they don't even have to be completely anthropomorphic. If they're down, he's down, you know?

Gender Headcanon: Genderfluid/non-binary but he does not think too much about it, he thinks everyone's Like That and assumes he's normal. He keeps his he/him pronouns for this reason, and even after learning the truth he'd stick to those pronouns because it's easier

A ship I have with said character: Hal/any and all of the other 3 corpsmen, Hal/Sinestro, Hal/Oliver/Dinah, Hal/his own hand, Hal/his ring, etc etc etc

A BROTP I have with said character: Hal and Barry give me HUGE brotp vibes, though I can see why people like them when they're romantically involved. Also Hal and Clark have a huge potential to be an interesting brotp but I'd leave it at that

A NOTP I have with said character: Bruce/Hal. 100%. Those two are barely coworkers and Hal can do much better than Bruce. Please. He has standards.

A random headcanon: He absolutely hates humid days. It makes every injury that healed up wrong hurt.

General Opinion over said character: He's my baby girl. He's a war criminal. He's stupid. He's smart. He's confident and he's depressed. He's a grown ass man. He's a sad pathetic poor little meow meow. He's MY blorbo. Only I can understand him

John:

Sexuality Headcanon: Even though I often ship him with the other corpsmen, I do truly think he's the straightest one out of everyone else. But he's still queer

Gender Headcanon: cis, 100%

A ship I have with said character: John and any/all of the other corpsmen, John/Katma....

A BROTP I have with said character: tbh his relationship with Hal, Guy and Kyle is like THE definition of perfect brotp.

A NOTP I have with said character: John/Carol. That woman fridged HIS WIFE

A random headcanon: After a Certain Event, he can't stand to be around dogs again. Makes him queasy

General Opinion over said character: Love him. I do get a bit tired of the stale takes his fans always have about him, they always make him so bland and boring while trying to make him absolutely perfect with no flaws. He's unhinged, your honor. In a way that matters

Guy:

Sexuality Headcanon: this man can fit so much internalized homophobia while also being so loud and proudly queer, you won't believe

Gender Headcanon: I often think of him as cis but he has HUGE trans-masc energy. He's a passing trans man.

A ship I have with said character: My favorite one is GuyHal, hands down, followed closely by GuyKyle and GuyJohn

A BROTP I have with said character: Same ships as above. They can be BOTH

A NOTP I have with said character: Guy/Bruce. I just really think no lantern deserves to be paired with Bruce. They have better taste than that. We as fandom can do better than that

A random headcanon: He does really like the Rocky movies and he can and WILL cry over Rocky II

General Opinion over said character: I love him. He's my meow meow, but a different flavor of meow meow. He's so special. Love that he's the type of character that will do anything for his friends and those he cares about. Love how he's so fucking loyal.

Kyle:

Sexuality Headcanon: He's bisexual. It makes him too dangerous. But he's bisexual.

Gender Headcanon: cis but he can be babygirlified

A ship I have with said character: my favorite one is HalKyle, DUH, but I also love love him lots with Connor and/or Wally.

A BROTP I have with said character: GuyKyle always give me more of a sense of brotp but honestly like I said before, the 4 corpsmen can be both romantic ships and brotps. They have the range

A NOTP I have with said character: Kyle/Jason. It's just that no lantern should date any kind of bat. Yeah.

A random headcanon: he accepts commissions and draws risqué/pin ups of his fellow corpsmen. He has all the good references to make his art very life like.

General Opinion over said character: BABYGIRL. STUPIT. I love him. He's so fucking charismatic even though his mask is the ugliest thing ever. I miss him. I want him back............

even if he's girlcoded he's such a man idk sometimes i wanna grab him by the neck and shake him senseless. he's just. odd. when he keeps straightwashing john in interviews and telling the same stories over and over it's like. girl. some of his fans are incredibly annoying and are soooo biased when it comes to discourse it's laughable but that's not really his fault i guess.

olivia -

oh she 🫂 this is going to sound a bit cringe when i found out abt her i was so happy there was a beatle girl who looked like me :) her work in activism is very noble and really interesting imo! she's also done such a great job in keeping george's legacy alive and it's clear they loved each other a whole lot :))

yoko -

i literally do not care for her. her antis are pretty much middle schoolers, calling her names and making the fact that they don't like her their entire personality like putting 'anti-yoko blog' on their bio like?? babygirl no one cares go outside lol. most of the time they're deluded mclennonites but oh well. what can be done

her fans are also super weird, straight up ignoring all the shit she's done and calling everyone who doesn't like her a bigot. which i can understand, a grand part of the hate thrown her way is somewhat rooted in racism and sexism even when people don't realize it but this is 2021 and i'm sure we can have some nuance when talking about her yk.

i think she's a very flawed but also very hurt person, and i can't really bring myself to hate her too much now that she's this frail old lady if i'm being honest. at the same time i'm still wary of her and i don't really plan on warming up to her anytime soon lol. some of her art's pretty cool though you have to admit
