Naoto: Allow me to recap what's transpired thus far. Nanako chan and Teddie had revealed that we all thought Yosuke senpai and Souji senpai were involved. Yosuke in a gay panic ran into the TV, which we had previously closed after defeating Labrys's Shadow or so we thought, and dungeoned himself. We met the creator of the Velvet Room after defeating the evolved Shadow, got separated, reunited, and the major information that Yosuke senpai was withholding from us to cause all of this to happen is that he has, indeed, been in a same sex relationship before. Am I right so far? Yosuke: please be real careful im in a sensitive state i was scared of exactly this- Naoto: Yosuke senpai; everyone's a hypocrite. No one's mad at you and I can understand why you didn't why you didn't want to say anything. You most likely thought that we would have thrown your past ignorance and hate speech in your face and cut ties with you. Souji: You should give us more credit, we'd never do that. Chie: what souji said! we've all seen the worst parts of each other and thats what makes our bond unbreakable! on the flip side- Rise: I CANT BELIEVE YOU DIDNT GOSSIP WITH ME-- WE COULD HAVE BEEN HAVING BOY TALK THIS! ENTIRE!! TIME!!! Kanji: YEAH WE COULDA BEEN PAINTIN NAILS AND TALKIN FEELINGS; WHEN. Yosuke: AAUGH WHEN WE GRADUATED- OKAY?? i would send him pictures of all us more during third year, and he noticed souji wasnt /in/ many of the pictures that year. he brought it up, i said souji moved back to the city, and then he asked if i was single!! i didnt know what to do! i said yes and-then-we-dated-for-maybe-two-years-it-was-mostly-online-we-only-saw-each-other-face-to-face-like-4-times, uh, yea.... so... never made it as a wise man?

A crack in the glass
This post is incredibly difficult to write, there's just so much to process. Except for putting on the radio this morning with my alarm, I haven't had any music on since Saturday night...
I didn't even make coffee this morning. Today I worked while putting together the Lego I got for my birthday and making some paintings. (You already saw one in the previous post, there's another I'll post after this one, after which this title will make more sense.)
2023.05.06 Logomo-sali, Turku
I guess we can start with some nice stuff.
The Viking look is kind of my thing now? All of the pieces of random medieval/Viking garb stuff I'd ordered arrived just in time for this magnificent outfit inspired by the album cover colors.
(I also had a blue bandana over my hair which isn't in this picture, and it was cold so I ditched the hand fan.)
Tumblr media
The gaggle (again)
I noticed the gaggle almost right away upon getting my stuff dropped off at the coat check, so, as had been suggested, went over to say hi. So who are they really? The gaggle consists of a Finnish couple and a German couple. They were suuuuuuper wasted that other time in Tampere (which explains a LOT, really) and yeah they seem the party type (which isn't MY type, but I've had a lot of practice awkwardly bullshitting along in undergrad).
The Finnish woman was like "yeah we've spoken crappy English with each other for 10 years"; at least she has not found that to be a barrier to making friends... The German guy was going on about how they've gotten sometimes to hang out and get drinks and other goodies with the band after shows and I'm thinking what if I glommed myself onto these people but I really can't do the party personality thing.
The number of chairs in this room is too damn high
Tumblr media
That is, way over 1000 seats. I was close to the middle, so you're seeing only like half the width of the room here. Kinda sucked that the floor was just folding chairs but at least there's more elbow room than if we were jammed into a crowd.
Fanclub Founder was next to me (again! what are the chances?? she's local though).
Before I forget, the music stuff
The performance was being taped for their next live album (yay!). They didn't mention this until a number of songs in, but it had the effect of emboldening people to sing along more loudly.
I hope they don't use this take of Samaan mutkaan kaatunut though, because there were some things I didn't like about it. (For one, there's a minor goof in the intro and for two, they kinda went straight into the preprogrammed transition track rather than letting the song end on the piano motif.)
Fanclub Founder doesn't know this (and I think she may have thought my reaction interesting) but Senpai can REALLY STOP MOTIONING AT ME ON THE ONE LINE ANY TIME NOW
Exodus got the backing vocals, well, back (all 4 of them)
I am still not entirely convinced about the extra brass parts but ok
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I'd already pointed this out on my Instagram last time but Markus has fun 🍄 socks that you can only see when he's on the cello :P He's also got a cheat sheet on the floor in front of him for this song, for whatever reason.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Been a while since I last took pictures of the acrobatics routine.)
Fanclub Founder handed up a wholesale box of mints before they lined up for bows, which made Very Serious Security Staff a little nervous (it's not the first time I have seen somebody make this offering).
Hey this wide-angle thing on my phone is great, I can actually get all 18 of them into the picture from the first row. (Also, that is TOO MANY!!)
Tumblr media
The aftermath
The gaggle went almost immediately to the adjoining bar after the performance. At some point a gaggle guy popped out to ask me whether I'd seen any of the band members yet. I hadn't, so he went back to the bar.
The bathroom queue was easing up—and as I returned to the lobby after, I heard the final strains (again!) of Happy Birthday from one corner and it turned out the whole ladies' quartet was there with somebody, who was shedding tears of joy. [1]
I should probably further point out here that at least Heini and Jepa have also solo careers independent of the band so they have a bit of their own cult followings. (They are also incredibly friendly, so there's that.)
So yeah I missed my chance there... but I did catch the two of them to get their playing card pictures signed.
Blonde fangirl appears to attended alone (minus second blonde fangirl), and tells me I'm not the first person to collect signatures on the cards, but how would I know, I don't come from the kind of background that would enable me to go to art school AND for all intents and purposes LITERALLY follow them around to EVERY show. But in the interest of fairness I asked her to sign the card with her dedication note on it too.
I managed to flag down a couple more people for their signatures, but after that, the whole place was pretty much cleared out and the folks working the merch table even put everything away already before Pate showed up to take the stuff out back. He offered to take my stack of cards and get them signed by whoever was still around. The building is absolutely massive so it took a while and I'm loitering awkwardly waiting for him to come back because by this point the place was deserted and it was just Very Serious Security Staff watching me impatiently wondering when I was gonna get the heck out of there.
Anyway, he suggested I could talk to merch lady next time before the show and she could help get the last two signatures sorted. [2]
Tumblr media
__________
[1] Incidentally it was also the birthday for one of the "regular" pair of ladies who, well, at least the one of them, is friendly and invites me to have a coffee or drink with them before we're let into the room.
[2] He had forgotten that Jukka-Pekka is even on a card and as a roadie of course he was still there but it didn't make sense to run all the way back again just for one card.
The after-aftermath
I'm sad I didn't get to talk to Senpai, especially since it was (almost) my birthday. I know it's just life and I'm nothing more than just one random fangirl and I shouldn't intrude on their (professional) lives nor expect anything special.
But on the other hand... some of the other groupies HAVE had special treatment? Like blonde fangirl and her illustrations on the cards? And the gaggle have had the privilege of partying with them? How do I earn this?? Is it like a five-year groupie privilege or something (I'm making this up)??
They weren't going straight home either; I'd asked Pate and got a little clingy about it and was politely told to go away. The rest of the players had left after he got the signatures for me, and it was just him and the roadies who were still there packing stuff. The gaggle reappeared from the bar and he also sent them away after a few words. Next time I'm around it will be the end of the spring tour so if it were me, I certainly wouldn't want any outsiders crashing THAT party (and it wouldn't be my birthday anymore anyway).
So I went back to my lodgings and cried for half an hour, left an apology on his Instagram, and ate Hesburger on the floor while crying for another half hour:
...I know I'm being a little unreasonable. I desperately want to be around people who care that I'm having fun, who value my presence and enthusiasm, and who kind of see me as an individual on some level (however superficially), and those rare occasions when I am, I never want them to end.
Because I can feel it:
This fire is going to die if I keep just feeling so bitter and alone after these shows. The whole run this spring of what will be 5 shows in 3 months is a bit…mentally taxing, tbh. Especially so because of this. But for now seeing Senpai is still worth it for its own sake, and I would lose even more if I stopped going and just stayed home. [3]
As a small consolation (OK it was not actually the intention but let's call it that) I had organized a small birthday meetup for geocachers Sunday afternoon (which was my birthday proper anyway). I don't even geocache all that much anymore, and I was hoping I'd have cool "shenanigans with Senpai" stories to tell, but at least it was 45 minutes of things actually being "officially" about me. (Also, there were Swedish-speakers!)
__________
[3] Incidentally the Fall tour schedule was published today and the only date I kinda even feel like going to is in December. They're Kind of a Big Deal enough now that they're booking a lot of arena and resort shows and I'm just trying to avoid those for as long as I can, because like this one felt like way too many people. even if I didn't need to look at them from the first row.
Fanclub stuff
From last time: Very Serious Security Staff walked over to get somebody to put their (small) paper sign away (and at another point mistook somebody's white phone case as one) Turns out the latter was actually Very Serious Security Staff being (mistakenly) Very Serious against people filming the performance. They were either misinformed or simply didn't ask the band whether this was allowed, because they have never forbidden it, and have even encouraged it, so people who weren't there can enjoy it too. (But OK be reasonable and don't just film the whole thing???) I mean heck, even boyfriend and I both filmed a few clips.
There was some debate over whether it was appropriate that people sang along and stood and danced (at an ostensibly sit-down show), especially for those on the floor level where we were just chairs instead of tiered seating. This is a bit of a tough one, since they were also kind of encouraging this (considering you usually want crowd noises on a live recording). I don't (really) dance but I certainly sing/shout to everything I'm confident to the words for and dramatically gesticulate (what I lack in vocal technique I compensate with body language), and it was nice to learn that Fanclub Founder actually appreciates the latter. (Feelings seemed a bit ... cold the last time we met.)
In my latest bid to try to be relevant, I decided to follow a few of the regular groupies on Instagram, or at least some of those who seem to tend to go through the tags.

Pairing: Atsumu x Reader (Slight Osamu x Reader)
Summary: Atsumu has a date with his longtime crush, only for him to get sick. Luckily, his twin brother has a can of semi permanent hair dye and an open schedule.
Warnings: Atsumu and Osamu having one brain cell
A/n: Alternative ending with Osamu ?
Tumblr media
The first time was when Atsumu was too sick to make it to his 'no makeups' math test. Osamu ran to buy a can of spray-on hair dye and combed his hair the other way.
And it worked, Atsumu got the 100% and Osamu got his chores done for a month.
The second and third times were just for fun, a test to see how long they could go before someone noticed, and usually by practice someone did, but it was always doubted because; "Well, it looks like Atsumu."
The fourth time was when Atsumu scored a date with his longtime crush, a feat nobody saw coming.
Atsumu had built himself up to ask for your number and a date, striding across the classroom amidst the laughs and giggles of his classmates, confidence draining with each step as he neared your desk.
'Act cool, Act cool'
The mantra plays on repeat as he clears his throat.
"Are you free Saturday?" He holds out his phone in hopes you understand.
Nobody expected you to give him a smile and carefully take the phone out of his hand, putting your number in and texting it, waiting for your text alarm before adding his contact into your phone.
And in hindsight, Atsumu should've been careful the following week, not overworking himself and certainly not forgetting his umbrella in the morning.
He layed in bed Friday night, covers pulled up to his chin as Osamu laughed at his sniffling and raspy voice.
"You should just reschedule." Suna offers, watching Atsumu's pink face, from his fever, go even pinker with indignation.
"There's no way, I've been waiting for this for a year now." A cough punctuates his argument and Suna and Osamu cringe behind their facemasks.
"There's no way you'll be able to go when you're this sick." Osamu nods in agreement with Suna's words, feeling slightly sorry for his brother now.
Osamu is quick to jump in when Atsumu opens his mouth to argue.
"You won't be completely better by tomorrow night, that's just crazy."
Atsumu pouts, significantly more whiny now that he was sick.
The trio sit in silence for a moment before a lightbulb goes off in Atsumu's head.
"I don't have to go on the date-"
Suna groans and interjects with a "That's what we've been trying to tell you."
To which Atsumu rolls his eyes and continuous.
"-Osamu can go."
It's silent as the words process in the boy's minds.
"What?" Osamu let's out a shocked laugh.
"You don't have any plans other than gaming with Suna anyways, just go as me and if you score another date I'll go on it. They won't be able to tell."
Now it should be said that sometimes Atsumu has bad plans said with great enough execution where it makes a sliver of sense.
A few minutes of arguing later, Osamu agrees with a huff as Suna laughs.
The next morning Atsumu helps spray Osamu's hair with the semi-permanant hair dye, watching his hair go from gray to yellow before combing it to the other side.
"We still look nothing alike." Osamu's grumpy, and the blond is slightly off, the way they stand completely different.
"Nonsense, you finally look hot."
Osamu can't strangle a sick person, that would be cruel.
But he does anyways, finally letting go of his twins neck at the three frantic taps Atsumu smacks on his shoulder.
The clock strikes 6pm and Osamu finally heads out, his gait changing slightly to be more believable as Atsumu's phone weighs down his pocket.
And he waits for you at the restaurant, flicking through his brothers phone mindlessly, going through his social media feed and commenting on all of Osamu's posts.
And then you arrive.
"Hey." Osamu, no, Atsumu smiles, tucking his phone into his back pocket like he's seen his brother do before.
"Ready to go in?"
"You look nice Atsumu."
Osamu, now Atsumu, smiles cheekily before returning the compliment.
The two of you have dinner, laughing and talking about everything, even holding hands as you walk through the streets, pointing out things in shops and even stopping at an empty store for rent.
"My... brother wants to open a restaurant." The place is perfect, the size, the location, the price.
"Oh yeah, Osamu did want to open an onigiri restaurant, I kind of remember that."
Osamu takes a picture of the store and sends it to his phone, wanting to remember this location.
"Who knows if he can do it, I think he should just stay with volleyball." Osamu's words are an echo of Atsumu's, and a sad glint takes place in his eyes.
It's noticeable enough for you to catch, squeezing his hand slightly to catch his attention.
"I think he can do it."
It's silent for a beat, Osamu completely taken aback before realizing he wasn't supposed to be Osamu.
"We'll see if the idiot actually goes through with it."
You continue walking, swinging your hands slightly and Osamu gets why Atsumu is so infatuated with you, the way you look under the street lights, the sound of your laugh, and gosh, your smile.
He snaps out of it as he walks you home.
"Thanks for taking me out today Osamu." You smile and wave from the doorway, and Osamu waves back, not realizing at first.
And then his face flushes and he let's out a shocked sound of question as you lean against the doorway.
"You think I wouldn't be able to tell my crush apart from his brother? Besides, Atsumu was out sick yesterday too, there's no way he'd get better so quickly."
You think for a minute, studying his face, they really did look similar.
"Besides, your eyes are different."
Osamu's shocked enough where words don't form as you continue.
"Don't tell Atsumu I know, I want to see what happens." You laugh slightly as you wave goodnight and close the door, Osamu standing in shock for a moment before walking home.
The moment Osamu steps into the house, Atsumu's on him like a beast, a flurry of questions sometimes interrupted with a coughing fit as Osamu trys to lean away.
"It went fine, they really like you." The jealousy is well hidden, and if Atsumu wasn't sick and head already feeling muddled, he would've picked up on it.
"Dude, I need to wash this out of my hair." Osamu groans as Atsumu asks more questions, what were you wearing? What did you order for dinner? Osamu payed right?
Atsumu doesn't get a text all weekend from you, leading to an argument between the brothers, Atsumu thinking Osamu had messed everything up, to which Osamu argued that it was Atsumu's idea in the first place.
Until Monday, Atsumu all recovered and sitting anxiously at his desk waiting for you to walk throught he door.
"Y/n!" He's out of his desk in a flash, smiling nervously as he approaches you.
"You, uh, never texted." He prepares to be rejected, and prepares to finally murder his twin.
"You never showed up Atsumu." There's a teasing smile on your face as murderous rage fills Atsumu's eyes, Osamu stood you up?
"I was pretty bummed when Osamu showed up instead."
The lump in his throat goes away as he realizes.
"How did you know?"
You smile playfully, catching eyes with Osamu across the room.
"You have different eyes."
"Oh."
"How does this upcoming Saturday sound?"
Atsumu's confused for a second before he realizes.
"Like a date?"
At your nod he smiles.
"Then it's a date. And with me, not Osamu."

TPN Vol 8 - Chapter 62-65 First Thoughts
note: some of the content here might be redundant with standalone posts. I sometimes add in thoughts when I get them later.
when geezer's thoughts said "thats not it" it reminded me of his attack in vol 7 where he said "that's not true", and I was honestly expecting for Lucas that it would be "you need to shut up" and im kind of disappointed that it wasn't bc that would have been so emotional jesus christ
also, that his name is blurred out.... I have a hard time believing its just meta, so do you think he's actually forgotten his name or sth? i feel like you could have easily just not have him say his name then like whats the point of putting it there just to blur it aside from trolling your readers i guess
and your anime-onlies who know his name but have agreed not to name-drop so it's just suffering now pff-
.
it's a hunting ground for nobles, huh? how do you know? Aren't the nobles also in charge of the farms? So they... follow the promise by doing production but then ALSO...... give children to a hunting ground? (but I guess only humans can break the promise so IHDKJKDS OKAY THEN-)
Like there's the two options here:
it's a SECRET hunting ground - the children there are escapees + probably the stolen children Sonju has mentioned he hears about. But demons PROBABLY can't steal from the highest farms right and we've heard that the children in the mass production farms can't even TALK, much less be fun to hunt (now, of course, the validity of Sonju's claims is starkly questioned by geezer-senpai's existence to begin with; so it might just be unreliable exposition).
it's a "secret" hunting ground - escapees are captured and more children are given to the hunting ground by the farms. This could be to appease the demon nobles who "want to hunt humans", so they don't cause problems for the power system the farm nobles have build up. And the "stealing children" is just a cover up for the public (would make sense with the IMMENSE security farms have AND would lign up with what Sonju said not being the entire truth)
IF option 2) is the case, it would imply that not EVERY child shipped out would be gupna'd on the spot (and instead delivered to a hunting ground) - I have accepted it as the procedure but actually, we've only confirmed it with Conny. the only other case we could have - Norman - wasn't seen being gupna'd.
But what doesn't make sense to me is that: the nobles want their highest grade meat, right?
So two options again: 1) there's 2 groups of nobles - ones that just eat them gupna'd and one that wants to hunt them (GP) - OR 2) there is only one group, the latter.
That would be easy to think about but is probably not the case. not every gourmet wants to kill it himself.
And while I think it'd be more reasonable for the farms to be in on it, I think it causes an inconsistency: If escapees get captured by GP, it'd have to be in secret because there's no way the nobles would let up on their meal, right? UNLESS every high quality meat ends up in GP and GP is just what is referred to as the "tifari ceremony" by grandma Sarah. I'm not sure if that is the case though, especially because "the 3 can be shipped out as scheduled" but Emma's birthday hasn't happened yet so she'd not be there normally by now.
IT COULD BE completely off of the farm nobles, but I just have a hard time believing they'd never notice the hunting grounds NOR notice any BIG DEMON, yknow, swooping over the fence and stealing a CHILD. IDK haha- it seems like it'd be a lot smarter to just give them food voluntarily to avoid possible chaos.
But maybe not the highest grade and that's why they're also always on the lookout for escapees - which I STILL THINK aren't common enough to warrant keeping an eye on the ENTIRE territory and which demons are regenerated a lot BUT HEY THAT'S JUST ME. So they are appeased by the government (essentially) but they also keep highest grade escapees on their own terms.
or maybe I'm wrong and escapees really ARE common enough to fill an entire hunting ground. But if that is the case, it DEFINITELY is behind the farm nobles' back (unless they're all part of it).
SO MANY UNLESSES HELP. my brain is melting.
.
it's sus! It's also quite sus because the promise is to "not hunt each other anymore" BUT humans are the only ones who can break it? It seems so in favor of the demons, but the HUMANS had the UPPER HAND- so what gives? Maybe the promise is something inherently tied to demons, so without them it couldn't exist at all and that's their "upper hand" in the deal?

OHSHC Rewrite: Episode 3b
Beware of the Physical Exams!
Host Club x reader
Summary: When the hosts convince y/n to get help, she finds trouble instead.
Word Count: 5.4k
Episode Masterlist
Tumblr media
"Y/n, we've come here today to talk about a problem regarding you."
You looked around nervously, and began your verbal diarrhea. "Okay, um, first of all, I want to say I'm sorry. I know it's our number one priority to make the clients happy, and I was side tracked, and that's on me. I'm really sorry. I shouldn't have been unprofessional with Alarico and that's super my fault. I know I need to get 100 guests and I'm only at 39 but I can do better, and again I'm really sorry for everything about yesterday, and—"
"Y/n," Kyoya cut you off. "This has nothing to do with your quota, or Alarico Gonzalez's behavior."
"Oh." You said dumbly.
"This is about your anxiety attack."
"Oh." You grumbled, though you quickly regained your composure. "I'm sorry you had to see that senpai."
"It was no trouble, and I've read that they can be very sudden and frightening to those who get them." He stated.
"We're really worried." Hikaru said.
"Yeah," Kaoru agreed. "When Kyoya told us, we had no idea how to help."
"You have to take care of yourself y/n-chan." Honey clutched usa-chan.
"Yeah." Mori said.
"That is why," Tamaki said, pointing to you. "We've decided to set up an appointment with the school therapist today!"
"Woah, let's not take it that far. I'm okay guys, really."
"You didn't look okay when you had trouble breathing yesterday." Kyoya stated.
"That was just a little hiccup!" You explained. "Things happen. I'm okay now, which is more important, right?"
Tamaki stepped up to you. "You're going to therapy, and that's final!"
"No." You said forcefully. This struck his feelings, and he sulked in the corner. You sighed. "I'm sorry I worried you all, and I'll be careful next time. I don't want to waste time and cut any classes so a therapist can tell me depressing things. I just want to forget about sad stuff here."
You gave them a smile. "Well, she seems unmotivated." Hikaru stated.
"But how are we going to get her to agree?" Kaoru asked.
Mori then thought of something. "Squishy ice cream."
That struck a nerve. You gasped and carefully looked at them, and Tamaki then got up. "That's right~ You were so busy last episode that you never got to try any, did you~?"
"Did you hear that?" Hikaru whispered mockingly. "She's never even tried squishy ice cream before. Isn't that sad?"
"Talk about a tragedy." Kaoru whispered back.
You nervously laughed. "C'mon guys, you don't really think of me as such glutton because I'm poor and never had it that I'd force myself to go to some therapy for some ice cream would you?" You kept nervously laughing, and everybody else smiled at you. You then quietly asked, "What time is the appointment?"
"We knew it." The twins said.
You scoffed and smiled. "You guys are something else. Why do you even care about this?"
"Don't refer to yourself as this!" Tamaki exclaimed. "If you need anything, know that I'm always here for you."
"You mean all of us are here for her?" Hikaru asked.
"As I said before, you are all the homosexual supporting cast!"
You let out an involuntary laugh. "Really senpai? Supporting cast?" You asked, walking over to them. "That's a little self absorbed of you." You then thought of something. "Can you guys do me a little favor though? Let's keep the therapy sessions to ourselves. My clients get worried easily and I feel weird when they get curious and ask me about my issues."
"Well, your appointment is right after the physical exams," Kyoya explained. "So that might be an issue."
"Alright then," Tamaki announced. "Gentlemen, it's time to enact The Keep Y/n's Secret Safe Plan!"
Later that day you walked with the twins to the physical exam, though the line was going to be too long to not miss your therapy session. When you went in there, your mouth hung open. "What the hell is this?!"
"It's just a regular physical exam." Hikaru said.
"I've seen malls smaller than this." You whisper shouted, speed walking to hold each twin by the arm, timidly looking at all the people and fancy stations. "This is so out of place for me. I feel so awkward."
They paid no mind to you gripping onto them, or at least tried not to. "Seriously y/n, you need to stop being amazed and scared at everything here." Kaoru said.
"I was amazed and scared of the host club when I walked in. Look at us now." You offered. Neither of them said anything but looked down at you. You then saw Mori and Honey dressed up in doctor attire. "Wait, what?" They put their fingers over their mouths shush you. "So obvious." You muttered.
"I have those two for back up in case this plan doesn't execute properly." Kyoya came out and explained.
"Why are they in doctor uniforms?"
"It helps set the mood." He pushed up his glasses. "Disguises make our mission feel like a real espionage."
You watched the doctor encourage a girl as three other nurses clapped for her. "This is weird." You said. "All the staff here are actually nice."
"Of course." Kyoya said. "All staff is chosen by the chairman. It is a school, but it's also a business. He wants the students to be happy, and most students here already have their own doctors for their families. So this, is just a formality."
You quietly scoffed and shrugged, shaking your head. You and the twins kept walking when someone bumped into Kyoya, and Kyoya's gaze lingered on him.
"Huh." The twins then began taking off their shirts to do their exams, and girls started squealing. "See now?" Kyoya asked. "Physical exam day is quite popular with the ladies."
"Hm. My physical exams in y/c had us also do exercise. Everybody was rude and just wanted to get everything over with, and that makes more sense than this." You then shook your head. "But girls here would probably still be squealing for that too because sweat is apparently attractive too."
The twins were being themselves and girls continued squealing. Mori and Honey took this as an opportunity to push you into a corner nobody was in. Tamaki then caught you from behind. "I've been waiting for you princess." He said in your ear.
"Tamaki senpai?" You turned your head.
He giggled in your ear. "You're so cute when you're surprised." He then stepped back. "This is it, the inevitable moment."
"What are you gonna do?"
He shushes you with his finger. "Don't worry, I'll protect you." You felt your cheeks tingle. That was until he put on a wig and stepped into the exams area. "I am ready to take the exams." He announced in his best impression of your voice.
"Hey, is Tamaki trying to dress as a girl?" One girl asked.
Tamaki was shocked, as if he didn't realize people would notice. The twins then bursted out laughing. "He actually did it!" Hikaru laughed out.
"I can't believe he didn't know that wouldn't work!"
Tamaki blushed and angrily grabbed Hikaru. "Why didn't you tell me it wouldn't work?!"
"It's payback for calling us homosexual supporting cast!" He laughed out.
Tamaki looked over at you shyly with big sad eyes. "Um, listen y/n," he timidly said.
"Did you really think that would work?" You asked, and your tone showed that it was a genuine question. He said nothing but pouted, causing you to glare at him. "Big words senpai. Small execution."
"Come this way y/n," Kyoya said. "There's a private room waiting for you."
"Senpai, you look like your enjoying this." You smiled at him. Tamaki dropped to his knees in the background.
Kyoya was smiling as well. "Well, I did need to get my revenge too. I don't appreciate being called supporting cast, homosexual or otherwise."
You both walked away as Tamaki weakly reached for you while fading away. You then went into a room with a female nurse. "Good morning Miss Y/l/n. It's a pleasure to meet you. I've been informed of your circumstances, so we can hurry along this process."
"Thank you ma'am."
"Of course. Step right this way please. You can undress in there." You nodded and stepped inside the dressing area.
The boys were listening to this girl cry about a doctor who supposedly made a pass at her. "I've never been so terrified." She cried.
"How scary!"
"Do you think he was a pervert?" This girls were huddled around her for comfort.
"I had a feeling this might happen." Kyoya thought out loud. "Earlier today I saw a strange man in a white lab coat, though clearly not one of our doctors.
"Shouldn't you have said something sooner?" The twins asked in an annoyed manner.
"I'm sure it's no big deal. I'm sure the security guard will catch him." Kyoya offered.
They still listened to the group in the back. "Tell me," said a doctor. "Did you see where this man went?"
"Yes sir, he was headed towards the private clinic down the hall." The boys were all silent as they realized that he was going to your room.
You had just unbuttoned your shirt, leaving you in your bra. You were about to take off your pants when a man went into your changing room and was peaking outside. It was almost like he didn't see you. "W–um, excuse me, but—"
He rushed over to you and covered your mouth with his hand. "No, it's not what you think. Please just be quiet."
"Y/n!" You both turned to see Tamaki in the air. "Tama-chan~ kick!" He kicked the man in the face and sent him flying into the wall. Tamaki then spun in the air a few times before coming down to the ground.
The twins then appeared. "One. Good looks that attract the public eye."
Kyoya then stepped out of the shadows. "Two. More wealth than you can imagine."
Mori then spoke up. "Three. Chivalry that will never be able to overlook,"
"The hideous wickedness of this world." Honey finished.
As you hugged yourself Tamaki gently placed his own shirt over you. "That's what make up the Ouran Host Club!"
They posed, with an exception of Mori and Kyoya, saying, "We're here, watch out!"
"Please don't hurt me! Spare me my life!" He bowed as you buttoned up Tamaki's shirt. He then got back up. "I run a small medical clinic in the next town over."
You were taken aback by the sudden fact. You looked at Honey, whispering, "Why is he telling us his life story?"
Honey shrugged, and you all listened. "My name is Yabu." You suppressed your laughter, since Yabu is another word for quack doctor. "You see, I came to find my daughter. My wife left me a month ago and took my daughter with her! I know that my daughter goes here."
You sat down to be at the same eye level with him. "Well now that I'm invested into the story, I gotta ask. What happened to make them leave?"
He explained that he kept giving people money and they don't usually pay them back. The latest time was the last straw, and they both left. "I can never say no to anyone. I don't blame them for not wanting to constantly live in debt. But I wanted to see my daughter one last time, so I wandered through the streets and was pounded by rain until I came here. But once I entered I was mistaken for a doctor, here to examine students!"
You smiled. "You mean they mistook the guy wearing a lab coat as a doctor? That's... wow."
"And then it happened," He ignored you. He then explained how he asked a girl for directions and she ran away screaming. "And before I knew it, there were all kinds of people chasing me!" He was bursting with tears.
"So tragic!" Tamaki was also crying.
"Pardon me," Kyoya said. "But I think you may have the wrong highschool. Are you looking for Ouran Public Highschool?"
"Yeah?" He stopped crying and looked up.
"I figured that might be the case. This is Ouran Academy, private institution. Your daughter doesn't go to school here."
He looked shocked, and the twins began to voice their opinions. "Man, you don't even know where your daughter goes to school? That's pretty sad." Hikaru said.
"Yeah, I bet your relationship's messed up because you don't pay attention to them, not because of some stupid debt."
"Wow Kyo-chan, you figured that out pretty quickly." Honey congratulated him.
"Well, the daughter of such a small business man could never afford to go here." You scrunched up your nose I'm response.
"Kyoya," Tamaki said. "Could you make a map of the public schools in this area? I'd like to help this man."
Kyoya looked surprised for a second, but smiled and regained his composure. "Whatever you say."
As the man got up you stepped in front of him. "If you'll allow me to give some advice." He nodded. "If you get there and school is still in session, don't just go in. Wait until she's finished with school, or else you're gonna look like a creep and she'll be too angry and embarrassed to talk." He said nothing and nodded, bowing. He left soon after, and you were all still in the private room. "Well, sorry to do this, but can you guys please leave now?"
Everybody looked surprised. "Y/n, are you still angry with me?" Tamaki said. "You're not going to quit the host club are you?"
You turned to him and smiled, patting his shoulder. "Don't be silly senpai. I need to get to that stupid therapy sesh and you need to put on a shirt. I just gotta take the physical exams and I'll give it back to you." You then turned around and smiled. "Let's get this straight though. I'm not doing it for some food, I'm doing it for my debt."
You giggled, and Tamaki smothered you with a hug. "I can see right through you! I know you're doing it for some squishy ice cream!"
He was smothering too much. "Okay, stop it! The shirt's riding up!"
"Red card!" The twins said in unison. They then dragged Tamaki out and everyone else followed.
You finished your exam fairly quickly and was guided by your nurse to the room of your therapist. "Good morning." She grinned. "Please sit anywhere you'd like."
You had decided right then and there that this was going to suck. There was fancy decor and expensive looking items. There was a nice looking couch and even nicer looking chairs. She had a desk that looked like it costed way too much, and she wore expensive clothing. This was all too much. You didn't belong in this room.
You silently sat on the couch. "I hope you feel your most comfortable self with me, so we can talk about anything you want." Her grin was still on and her tone was still chirpy. You said nothing. "Do you want to begin the conversation?"
You hesitated before speaking up. "May I ask about your background?"
"My background? Well that's an incredibly boring subject, but go ahead! Let's not have any secrets between each other, okay?"
You were silent for a moment again. "How were you brought up? Was it surrounded by things like this?"
You didn't try to smile. You didn't want to be here. There wasn't anything wrong with you, so there wasn't a reason to be here. Besides, this room itself was giving you anxiety. "Things like this? Well, I'm not really the materialistic person, but if you're asking me if I was born into a wealthy family that helped paved the way to my position, then yes. I was born into this."
Her smile never faltered, and you didn't like it. You didn't like the feeling of any of this. Exposed, you felt so exposed. It made you put your head down in shame. "Then don't you think you're a little overqualified to be talking to me right now?"
She was taken aback, but began writing in her notebook. She slightly nodded to it, as if she had decided something. "My, is that what you think?"
What the hell would she even write from that? That you have self esteem issues? That you're self conscious about yourself here? You deserved so much squishy icecream for this. You only shrugged.
"You don't seem very relaxed right now. Maybe we could talk about why that is." You shrugged again. Her smile almost left her face, but she hung onto it. "We can't make any progress if you we don't put in effort dear."
You sucked up your annoyance and smiled, bringing your head up. "If you want me to be happy about this, you could've just said so. And the reason why I'm uncomfortable is because this room is making me uncomfortable."
She then wrote in her notebook again. "I see. Is it the atmosphere? We can go outside to the garden if it makes you feel any better."
"Is this session a one time thing?"
She chuckled. "That's not how progress works."
"Then we can stay in here so I could get used to this feeling."
It was like she cornered you. She knew exactly where to strike. "Do you always feel like you need to comply to things? Like you have to be the one to adjust?"
You frowned. "Where did that come from?"
"Please answer the question dear."
"I don't know, I guess. I have to though. It's not like everybody else has to change their viewpoints to accommodate only me."
"Do those viewpoints make you upset?"
"No."
"I'd appreciate if didn't lie to me."
She seemed to have every one of your moves calculated. She suddenly knew how to outsmart you. "Sometimes, I guess. I don't know. They'll say a comment or two about how different commoners are to normal rich people. It's weird. I never considered myself normal, but I'm different for another reason here than before."
You wanted to slap yourself for saying that. She only wrote in her notebook again. "How were you different before?"
"It just sometimes felt like us against the world. The four of us were unbreakable and we didn't care that it was that way. I felt proud to be looked down on, in this weird way, because my friends were down there with me laughing at everyone else."
"And now?"
"Now I'm down there alone. Everybody looks down on me, but there's no one else to share that with. It just sucks sometimes."
"You have two separate friend groups that you mention. Do you feel differently towards the one back in y/c than here?"
"I never felt ashamed with my y/c friends, I guess. I don't know. They knew everything about me, and they still loved me for it. Maybe I feel like my friends here will just pity me if I open up more?" You brought your knees up and buried your face in between them. "Ugh, no offense doctor, but this sucks butt. I thought this was supposed to help me with my anxiety."
"And you don't feel anxiety when thinking about your new friends finding things out about you?"
You couldn't help but let out a laugh and fall to lay of the couch. "Damn it, you're actually pretty good."
"People can be more complex than you might think. Just as you feel like they won't understand you because of your background, you aren't giving them a chance because of their background." You looked up at her. She was still smiling.
You chuckled. "You really do suck." You then sat up straight. "Hey, how are other people like with your sneaky forwardness?"
She waved off the question. "Oh, I'm usually not like this at all. I normally have to go through this journey with them until they figure it out on their own. I figured you weren't like that and would prefer someone who wouldn't baby you. It's actually quite nice to get straight forward answers back."
You genuinely smiled. "I'm sorry doctor, I think I underestimated you."
She had a different smile on this time. "Hm. Tell me something that your new friends don't know about you."
"That's kinda hard. One of them ran a background check on me."
She chose not to push her luck and not ask about that. "Well, it can be a small fact."
You let out a sigh and looked down again. "I mean, I was at the store the other day and bought them all keychains. Once I brought them to school I realized how worthless this would be to them. So I just kept them.
"Pushing for a better relationship with your friends will maybe let them push with you. They might like the gifts. You don't know until you try it."
"Thanks doctor." You smiled at her.
"One last question, how did you act with your old friends? Were you touchy feely or more to yourself?"
"Um, touchy feely I guess." You then thought about how you and your friends never really had respect for each other's boundaries, though none of you cared. "Really touchy feely actually."
"Try to work on getting to that level with your new friends." She then checked the time. "Oh, it seems we just ended our session. I'm glad we got this far, and there's so much more to talk about. I'll see you next week."
"Yeah, okay." You smiled and got up.
"Oh, dear,"
You stopped. "Yeah?"
"Why don't you give your old friends a call? You seem like you miss them."
"Okay." You said, chirpy. "Bye!"
You walked back to the physical exam area, and everyone was just about finished. All your friends stared at you as you silently walked over to them. You didn't say anything and looked spaced out.
"Y/n," Tamaki quietly asked. "Are you mad at us for sending you to therapy? You're making a face."
"I'm just thinking senpai." You didn't look at him.
"About quitting the club?!" He grabbed you by the shoulders.
You gently poked his face and pushed it away with your finger. "About whether or not I should give you guys something." The bell rang and you looked at the twins. "Oh, let's go guys. Bye everyone."
Nobody said anything. You went to your class silently. "Uh, y/n?" Hikaru asked.
"Hm?" You turned to them.
"Are you sure you're okay?" Kaoru asked.
You smiled and hugged them both. "I'm sure."
After school you decided to use your phone and call the one person you know who also has a phone. The other two were also there, and the three were planning to see you as a surprise on Monday. Luckily, Jasmine can't keep a surprise to save her life.
You entered the host club with a big smile, setting down your bag to turn and see all the boys staring at you. "What?" You asked, still smiling. "Oh! The gifts."
"So you actually did get us something?" Kaoru asked.
"Yup." You brought them out of your backpack and walked over to Mori. You handed him a keychain of a small black belt. "I heard someone say you were in kendo, so I thought this would be nice."
He smiled and patted the top of your head. "Thanks."
You excitedly nodded and bent down to Honey, giving him a bunny keychain. "I thought it would kinda remind you of usa-chan if you two were ever apart."
His eyes shown as he held it in his hands. "Cute! Thanks y/n-chan!"
You walked over to the twins, handing them a tweedle dee and tweedle dum keychains. You didn't know how to explain this one, so all you did was nervously chuckle.
"Get it?" They only stared at it and back at you as you awkwardly walked away and went to Kyoya. You gave him a paintbrush keychain. "One of my clients told me you could paint?"
He smiled and took the gift. "Hm. Thank you y/n."
You grinned and walked over to Tamaki. He was like a puppy who was excited to get a treat. You didn't take any notice in the blush on his face, nervous yourself that he'd say something about the piss poor gift. You put a small bear keychain in his hand.
"I know you have a teddy bear like this, and I've seen your dorky led pencil with the bear on it." An arrow went through him. "So I thought this would be a nice addition."
"No offense," Hikaru said, staring at the gift in his hand. Everybody turned their heads to him. "But you know these are kinda useless to us right?"
You frowned, but quickly replaced it with a smile. "Yeah," you nervously chuckled. "I'm sorry. It's stupid, I don't even know why I got them. Sorry." You then quickly began to walk away. "I'm gonna get my stuff set up."
You made some special tea for your first guest since she mentioned last time it was her favorite. While you were doing this, Tamaki stormed over to Hikaru. "What was that about?"
"What?" He shrugged. "It's true. I don't get why everyone's acting like this is some treasure."
Kyoya began writing in his book. "According to my sources, y/n also gave her friends back home keychains. It's a gift that she can afford, but it seems to only be something that she only gives to those she holds dear." They all looked back at Kyoya, who was still writing. "Don't you think it's peculiar that right after she talked to her therapist, y/n said that she felt comfortable giving us each a gift?"
Kaoru didn't know what to say, and Tamaki grabbed Hikaru's shoulder. "Listen to me." He said quietly. "You have to apologize to y/n. She wanted to do something nice for you, and you showed your gratitude like a slap in the face to her."
He looked over to you in an annoyed manner, walking over and tapping your shoulder. You flinched but still mustered up a smile. Before he could say anything, the host doors opened.
He didn't get the chance to say anything for the next three hours, as you were always busy with a new guest. Over the three hours guilt began to plague him. Why was he feeling bad? It was a harmless fact. His chest felt heavy.
Finally when they were all gone, you began cleaning as quickly as possible. He tried to slyly get closer to you, but you noticed and kept moving to a new area quickly. It was annoying him. "Hey," he called out to you in a demanding tone. "Are you mad at me or something?"
You didn't look in his direction, busying yourself with cleaning. "No. Why do you say that?"
"Tch." He didn't have patience for the feelings inside him. "Why are you avoiding me then?!"
You, as well as the other hosts, were surprised by the sudden outburst. You let out a sigh, turning to face him and giving him a smile. "Did I do something wrong? I'm sorry that you had to raise your voice at me."
"Why are you still being nice?" He said in a quiet manner, embarrassed for yelling at you for no important reason. "I just yelled at you."
"Um, I'm sure you're used to having people's full attention." You offered a shrug, your smile still sticking. "People who're raised by hearing a lot of yes's are usually bound to be more demanding. It's only natural, so it's whatever."
"No it's not!" He raised his voice again. "You should be getting mad at others being rude to you. Don't be such a pushover!"
His words stung, and you dropped your smile. "Don't call me that." You said a little forcefully.
"You know what? Next time you go to therapy, work on that!" You didn't say anything and angrily continued cleaning while everybody stared at Hikaru. Tamaki was being held back by Kaoru, while Hikaru was just staring at you. Damnit. This was supposed to be an apology, but he made things worse. "Y/n—"
"No."
Your simple demand got everyone's eyes to you. Kaoru and Tamaki held each other from how scary you looked, while Hikaru stepped a few paces back. After a few seconds he was ready to retaliate with another comment, but before he could he was pulled back by Kaoru.
"Hikaru, try to calm down." Kaoru offered.
This got him angrier. "I don't even need her to forgive me! It's always been me and you, and we never needed anyone else! Why should that change now?"
They both stopped when they noticed you sadly staring at them. You then looked back at your cart full of dishes and rolled it away. When you came back you only saw one twin bashfully staring at you.
"Look y/n, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said those things, and—"
You began to giggle. "Wow, I never knew people thought of me as so much of an idiot to really not think I can tell some twins apart. Nice try Kaoru." He looked at you, shocked. You kept walking, before stopping to quickly say "I appreciate you trying though."
You walked over to the other twin, who was tied up and squirming under Tamaki's foot. You motioned for Tamaki to back down, which he did as you sat down next to the tied up twin, pulling down the tie over his mouth. "What was that for boss?!"
"If you cannot respect a woman properly, you will have to handled improperly!" You flashed Tamaki a smile for the comment, and he began rolling on the ground and muttering about how cute you are.
You turned to look at Hikaru, who angrily looked away from you. "So, I get it now." You grinned.
"Get what?" He shyly looked over to you.
"Why you're so nonchalant about everybody. It's because you're used to only relying on one person your whole life." He looked at you in awe. You really understood that. "Honestly, it's pretty amazing to look at. I wish I had a life companion like that."
"But don't—"
"Nope, still not gonna talk about that anytime soon. The point is, I get why you weren't concerned about my feelings, and the important thing is that you're thinking about them now...kinda. As long as you're actually sorry then all is good."
He looked away from you and muttered a sorry. You nodded and untied him, standing up to face the others. You let out a sigh and bowed politely. "I sincerely apologize for the unnecessary drama I brought to the club."
You felt a strong hand pull on your arm to lift you back up. You looked up to see Tamaki gently smiling. "Don't think you have to put your head down for us, and stop thinking of yourself as an outlier. We all enjoy your company."
You smiled back, and remembered what your therapist and you talked about. Try to become touchy feely with them. They're all still your friends.
You wrapped your arms around his neck, quietly saying, "Thank you senpai." You pulled back and saw Tamaki as a blushing mess, causing you to quickly yank back. "Sorry! Ugh, I knew I shouldn't have listened to my therapist about being more touchy feely."
"Actually," the twins said as they came to each of your side, back to their flirty selves. "You can do that with us!"
You let out a breathy chuckle. "You guys are so bipolar and I love it." You then walked over the Kyoya. "Are we all still hanging out tomorrow?"
He wrote in his book. "Oh course. Have you decided where we'll go?"
"Yup!" You grinned. "The swap meet!"
"Swap meet?" The twins asked.
"Well, I think you guys call it a flee market here in Japan." You then looked back at the twins. "Call me tomorrow morning so we can pick everyone up and go."
"Roger!" They saluted.
"Wait, y/n," Tamaki said.
"I'm sorry I made you uncomfortable Tamaki-senpai. I'll be less touchy with you from now on."
"Wait y/n! I did like the hug, I promise!" He sobbed.
You giggled. "You don't have to lie to make me feel better. Well, gotta go. Bye guys!" And with that, you left.
"Mama~"
"Is there a problem Tamaki?" Kyoya slyly smiled.
"What if y/n won't hug me anymore?! Who else would she hug?"
"Hm. Well, she could always come to any of the other host members—"
"Are you saying you would let my little girl hug you and smother you with love?!" He barked.
"Hm, if it helps her, then I suppose." Everybody else left Tamaki crying in the music room.

WHO IS NO. 1 IN TERMS OF ACTING ABILITY!?
For the purpose of checking out the acting ability of the 6 members, different patterns of "smile" were shown. At the end of a heated discussion in the round table discussion, a member who is good at telling lies was revealed!? (The interview was taken in the middle of February.)
Reia-kun is a professional in acting to deceive people
Yabana: This time's theme is "acting ability".
Sasaki: (in loud voice) WHAT!
Nakamura: No, he didn't mean "act here now" LOL. You run into the conversation too fast. Recently, for a project for YouTube, we did a prank on Bana-san (Yabana), right?
Motodaka: We did a cosplay where we shouldn't be recognized. During that time, I desperately covered everyone with my body so that everyone's disguise will not be caught by Bana-san's sight LOL. It was an acting where I used my whole body.
Konno: And us, who are being covered, were disguising ourselves with all our might. It was fun!
Sugeta: Rinne even changed his pants on the spot LOL.
Nakamura: Yabana, how suspicious were you at that time?
Yabana: I think [I got suspicious] when I saw Taiko's face laughing happily LOL. It's obviously that that is his face when he trick people. With that, Taiko's acting level is quite low.
Sasaki: That's what I also think LOL.
Nakamura: Speaking of YouTube, we always have a birthday surprise plans for the members, but for some reason, we didn't pull anything for Katsuki's and Konpi's (Konno) birthdays.
Konno: Yeah. Honestly, I thought, "Have they forgotten about my birthday?" and I got sad LOL.
Motodaka: I am not saying to prepare us 2 different surprises, but why did you not prepare anything?
Yabana: No, you don't know? Perhaps the reason why we are talking about this now might probably because we've got something for you too, you know?
Sugeta: Yeah, this might be a foreshadowing, you know?
Motodaka: There's definitely none LOL. Our birthdays passed a long time ago already. If you insist, Reia's birthday is coming soon, right? LOL
Yabana: When you make it look like there's a surprise but there's none at all is the saddest pattern of prank LOL.
Sasaki: Who might be in the 1st place in acting in private among us?
Yabana: It is probably Reia-kun. He often deceives people, he is an expert in acting!
Nakamura: I myself think so too LOL.
Sasaki: Didn't you fool HiHi Jets and Bi Shounen all along?
Nakamura: I did, but I can't remember what it is about. They are pure so they believed for around 2 years in the proper lie I said to them LOL.
Motodaka: Reia is good with acting in times like that. Me too in the past, he told me, "the staff are very mad" with a facial expression that looked real and I completely believed him.
Nakamura: Fufufu...if you look closely, I am doing the face saying, "I am lying." On the contrary, Taiko is usually bad when telling lies. His feelings are shown on his face immediately. It is easy to understand his face like "Is that an emoji!?"
Yabana: A speech bubble saying, "I am telling a lie now" is faintly coming out from him LOL. That's why when he talked at the beginning of my prank video, I noticed about it immediately.
Motodaka: Rinne is also easy to know if he is telling a lie, right?
Konno: His feelings totally show in his behavior.
Nakamura: Yeah, yeah. He is bad at acting lively especially when he is feeling down LOL. He obviously couldn't talk.
Yabana: It is like he is saying, "I am having a problem."
Sugeta: ...I agree with you LOL.
Sasaki: Konpi is also easy to understand, right? When he fools others, he will certainly look at my eyes and will grin.
Konno: I want to make the 2 of us the suspects LOL.
Nakamura: When Katsuki tricks people, his ears immediately turns very red LOL.
Yabana: His ears are a lie detector, right? It turns very red like it is going to explode.
Nakamura: If there is someone he likes, he will be exposed immediately. She will be like, "This person probably likes me. Since his ears are super red." LOL
Motodaka: What~ I don't like that. Somehow or other, I think it is something you can't falsify LOL.
Sasaki: On the contrary, Yabana is good with lies . He said he was interviewed in the street by chance for 「Getsuyou kara Yofukashi」recently, but that one is also an acting, right?
Nakamura: The truth is that he can't play intruments too, right?
Yabana: Hey, stop it! To the readers, what they just said are both lies, okay?! LOL Or rather, I have not deceived people or lied to anyone!
Everyone except Yabana: That's a lie~!
Nakamura: 7 MEN 侍's best actor is not me but Yabana-kun~.
Yabana: Stop~that~! LOL
Influenced by the acting coaching of Koichi-kun for the DREAM BOYS
Nakamura: I really like the performance of Taiko when he is on stage.
Yabana: I know. Well, he is in character, but suddenly his aura of being a stupid brat was gone and becomes a human being LOL.
Motodaka: Yeah, right. When he was on stage, he became able to speak good Japanese.
Sasaki: ...I hate you all! LOL
Yabana: I also like Rinne-kun's acting in「DREAM BOYS」. There's a scene that (Domoto) Koichi-kun enthusiastically coaches, and as the result of Rinne steadily absorbing the advices, Rinne is turning into Koichi-kun day by day LOL.
Sugeta: I think since he presented a really good example, so I was influenced naturally. I was thankful. Rinne likes Katsuki's acting in 「Nounai Poison Berry」.
Konno: Ah yes, that was a good one.
Everyone except Konno: You haven't seen that, right? LOL
Sugeta: Konpi has not seen any of the members' stage plays until now, right?
Konno: That's just a coincidence LOL. Because during the showing of 「Oretachi Oenya!!~」where Taiko and Rinne appeared, wasn't it exactly during our preparation for 「~The Happy Prince」?
Nakamura: If you say so LOL. Katsuki's acting and Konpi's acting in 「The Happy Prince」were also good.
Yabana: Yeah, right. Serious acting suited them. Also, Konpi's appearance when he sat on the chair and turned round and round LOL.
Konno: Thank you! I had put all of my acting into that scene LOL.
Sugeta: Bana-san tried different acting patterns in daily special corner of「DREAM BOYS」. I think that was really good!
Yabana: I change my hairstyle depending on the day. And then, I match my acting with my hairstyle like, "Today I will go for a mood that looks slightly weak," or "Today, I am in all back hairstyle so I will go for a character that seems strong," and I am changing my acting a little by little. I also changed my costume a little by little, for some reason, all the cast laughed at me on the day where I appeared in tank top...LOL.
Sugeta: Coz you are skin and bones LOL.
Konno: Yeah, right. You are so thin that you look pitiful LOL.
Sasaki: Reia. For me, Reia's acting on stage is also good of course, but I think his acting on television is overwhelmingly good. You do understand me, right?
Konno: Yup. That's exactly about the drama「Gekikaradou」(TV Tokyo) he is appearing in currently, right?
Motodaka: In a sense that he can do whatever he wants is very Reia. I think it is a great thing that he was able to properly reflect himself to his character.
Yabana: The "yey🎶" in that drama is also like Reia's humor, right?
Sasaki: Well, but the usual Reia that we see is close to his character in Dream Boys.
Yabana: We think, "When will we be get beaten?" so we are constantly scared of him.
Nakamura: You are kidding LOL.
Sasaki: Let me ask just in case, since you are moving towards dramas, it doesn't mean that you are throwing away stage plays, right? Please make this clear.
Nakamura: Of course! LOL. Don't say weird things, I want to challenge acting in stage plays from now on too!
Motodaka: Which reminds me, the stage play where Rinne is starring (「Hidamari no Ki」) is starting soon, right? It starts in March, right?
Sugeta: Yup, you're right. By the time this magazine issue comes out, the Tokyo performance have started already.
Nakamura: Doesn't that look super interesting? I also wanna watch it soon.
Motodaka: More than anything else, I am sincerely hoping that the play will start safely. This is what everyone who got an experience with stage play thinks.
Konno: Rinne is lucky so he will definitely be okay! I believe in that!
Sugeta: Even though you said that, you surely won't come and watch, right? LOL
Konno: No, I will go. I will watch you!
Sasaki: This one is an acting, absolutely LOL.
Konno: I am coming~ LOL.
RECENT MEMO
Sugeta Rinne:
I see off my younger sister, who is taking the national examination, at 6 this morning.I want her to do her best that she can use all the effort she exerted up to this day. Not only my sister, but Rinne and my younger brother also got a charm from our papa. Rinne's charm is a prayer for the success of the stage play.
Konno Taiki:
The selfie project in ISLAND TV is difficult. Every time the day I'm in charged gets closer, I become desperate. I already ran out of idea during the 2nd time we did it LOL. I want to take applications of the poses that the fans want us to do!
Yabana Rei:
When I met Tatsumi (Yudai)-kun by chance last January, he gave me a New Year's money. I was moved at how kind senpai he is. Someday, I also want to give New Year's money to my juniors and be respected LOL.
Sasaki Taiko:
I finally purchased a drum set. Since I do not know which one to buy, so the drummer who I am acquainted with and I admire came with me to the store. I am really thankful that he recommended me the items that match with my style of beating the drums!
Nakamura Reia:
I watched at home the movie「The Letters」where Yamada Takayuki-san is starring. I am glad that the story is very deep, and more than anything else, Yamada-san being immersed in his acting is so great that I was drawn into [the movie] the whole time!
Motodaka Katsuki:
I went fishing for the first time with my brother who is 4 years younger than me. My brother caught a large number of fishes that I can't imagine that it was his first time. The total amount of catch we had that day was 77 horse mackerels! It was so delicious when I made it into namerou (finely chopped fish with miso paste) that it disappeared in no time.

33 Reasons Why I love Oscar Octavio Silva: A reason for each day since we've started officially dating on September 3rd, 2017. 💜
1. You give the most amazing hugs. They always make me feel loved and safe.
2. The adoring look you give me when I'm next to you, whether I'm sitting in the passenger seat of your car, lying by your side in bed, or just standing next to you wherever we happen to be—my heart always flutters and skips a beat.
3. You have such a warm and caring heart. I could tell from day one that when you like someone, you do/give whatever you can to make them happy. That’s a rare quality to have because humans tend to be selfish creatures, but you do so much for people without ever asking for anything in return. That’s such a beautiful trait to possess.
4. You're the most considerate individual I know. You always make sure that what you're doing is in the best interests of your loved ones.
5. You’re an incredibly thoughtful person. From remembering what my Wing Stop order is, to my favorite candy/ice cream— you never cease to amaze me by remembering the most minute details about me. Thank you for always taking the time to remember the little things about me.
6. Your willingness to try. Ever since we started talking until now, I can always feel the love/effort you've put in building our relationship. Thank you for keeping the quirky traditions we have alive, like telling me the reasons why you love me each night, always calling me whenever you have free time, and making sure I'm the last voice you hear before you go to bed. Thank you for continually making sure that things between us aren't just phases. You make keeping the love alive seem so effortless.
7. Your sense of style. I've actually noticed this about you since the first day I met you, but you have a very unique sense of style. I love the way you dress. It's minimalistic, yet edgy and unique in its own way. You know how to pair things together in a way that stands out, but is mutedly simple all at the same time.
8. Your hair. You have the softest hair that I love to play with. Not to mention your hair color is sooooooooooo freaking beautiful. It's like an ashy, soft, chestnut brown. I hope our kids are blessed with those genes from you.
9. Your eyes. That Sunday we went out on our 2nd official date, I got to steal better glances of your eyes. They're such a beautiful shade of hazel. I didn't tell you this, but when you were staring at me as we were in your Jeep, the sunlight’s rays would beam against your face, and they made your eyes sparkle and gleam the most beautiful shade of green that I've ever seen. I was silently swooning hard, thinking to myself, and wondering how did I ever get to lucky to stumble upon since an amazing, beautiful human being whom I love both inside and out.
10. Your touch. Whether I'm held by you, pressed against you, or just beside you... I feel this infinite connection when our bodies are near each other. Your touch gives me instantaneous goosebumps, that make me want to unfold and peel every layer of myself for you. I can infinitely be lost in a universe of just us two whenever I'm around you.
11. You're my Rave Bae. Honestly after locking eyes with you during Flume when Say It dropped, there was a split second when I asked myself, "Did I really meet ravebae?" To answer that question now presently: YES. You're the ravebae I've been searching for all this time. Honestly I didn't even realize that until the last day of the Forest, when I began recapping highlights of the weekend. Every good memory that I remembered/recalled somehow included you. That's when I knew... you were the Rave Bae I’ve been searching for all this time that I never in my wildest dreams, imagined existing.
12. I LOVE cuddling with you. Ever since that first night we cuddled at the Forest in Rosa and Maritsa’s tent until now— being in your arms just feels right. It was like our bodies were made and molded to fit one another. I sleep a lot better when I’m sleeping with you. Truthfully, cuddles with you are the best cuddles I’ve ever had.
13. The way you pull me in closer to you when we sleep next to each other. This reason is an extension of the last reason, but I feel like it’s noteworthy in its own right. I used to always see this action in the scenes of movies, but have never personally experienced it until I started sleeping next to you. It’s such a safe and loving feeling knowing that your body is next to mine, no matter how many times I turn and toss throughout the night. Whether I’m half asleep, or waking up in the middle of the night to turn to the other side, I love that you always shift and make sure your arms are still caressed around me.
14. Whenever we’re together, whether we’re doing something completely normal like going to the grocery store, scanning the aisles for things that we need, or next to each other, with our shoulders brushed up against one another at a festival— I feel like I can conquer the world with you. I’ve never felt so at ease and at peace with anyone else in my 24 years of life.
15. You always know the right things to do/say to make me happy, or cheer me up.
16. You truly understand the depths of my soul— the darkest realms of my mind, and the things that make me who I am, both good and bad. I’ve never had anyone analyze me so well, nor have I ever had anyone tell me that being an over-thinker was a good thing until you did. Thank you for recognizing and appreciating that quality about me. You make me feel like my anxiety isn’t an issue, but an asset.
17. You’re a good listener. I feel comfortable telling you anything and everything. I’ve never had that with anyone before. I know that I can confide in you with whatever thoughts are on my mind with no judgement whatsoever. I’ve never been so open to someone in such a short period of time. Honestly, even calling you for the first time after the Forest, and confiding in you was a huge step that I’ve never taken with anyone else before.
18. How we naturally gravitate towards each other without even trying. I noticed that after reflecting on Electric Forest. Whether we were walking from one stage to the next, or enjoying a set somehow, we managed to end up next to each other. It’s like our bodies subconsciously were telling us before we even realized that we liked each other. Body language is definitely a thing with you. I’ll always gravitate to be aligned in your orbit, babe.
19. We have the same sense of humor. When you brought up Dillon Francis’s SnapChat the first night we met, I remember thinking to myself how uncanny it was that we had so much in common. Especially during his set, when we started cracking jokes about how we were only there for Gerald, and when we started talking about Forrest Gump randomly. You secretly earned 1,000 brownie/cool points from me that night.  Even now, we continually laugh at the same jokes, and honestly I think that’s been one of the best parts of our relationship.
20. WE HAVE SO MUCH IN COMMON THAT IT’S KIND OF CREEPY. I thought that day when we blurted out the same thing after seeing that Finding Nemo totem in the Forest was strange, but then you completely blew my mind when we found out our parents had failed meat market businesses a couple of weeks later when we were on the phone. Like seriously, WHAT ARE THE ODDS?! I like knowing that though because it makes me realize that even though we grew up in completely different states, we somehow lived/experienced the same childhood, and come from the same socioeconomic background. We understand what the American Dream is, experienced the same hardships in life, and truly know importance of successes and failures.
21. We like the same music. Our shared taste for EDM music, a sense of inclusiveness, and love for festivals and raving, allowed for our paths to cross fatefully. We feel the same way about country music, LOL. We like the same genres and sub-genres in EDM— from Riddim, Future Bass, Trance, Dubstep, Straight Bass, Melodic, House, Deep House, Tropical House, etc. The list could go on and on, but honestly that’s pretty rare for two people to really share that much in common with each other when it comes to music. Everyone’s taste is usually very singular, but for some reason ours are so linear. Which brings me back to the previous reason, LOL we have so much in common that it’s kind of creepy. But I also love that about us.
22. You have the cutest laugh. I swear by it.
23. Your voice. Weirdly enough, the first night we met... when I started talking to you during A-trak, I noticed how warm and comforting your voice was. It made talking to you very easy. I love your voice, Senpai.
24. You’re so handsome, but you don’t even know it. Like I’ve said before, you’re the first and only person that I’ve dated, and mega-swooned over. Joseph from ARMNHMR has nothing on you. I’d pick you over him ANY DAY.
25. You truly are my Senpai. You know why. ;)
26. Your humility. I love that you’re such a humble person. You acknowledge and know what qualities you can bring to the table, but you don’t brag. I really admire that about you.
27. You’re really smart and grounded. I’ve never been able to hold such deep, intellectual conversations with anyone on the level that we have had before. We can talk about virtually anything, and you can keep up with any of the topics. I really like that. I learn new things from you as well. I feel like each day with you is one in which we’d never stop growing, and experiencing new things— I love that.
28. You use correct punctuation whenever we text/message each other. That might seem like a weird reason to someone else, but for a nerdy “Grammar Nazi” like myself, that’s a quality that I really appreciate. It shows that you not only take the time and effort to really think about what you’re saying, but there’s nothing hotter than someone who knows how to use an Oxford comma. Hehe.
29. You always make time to talk to me. I’ve never had someone do that for me before. You always call when you say that you’re going to. I really appreciate that you make the time and effort to call me, even when it’s just a brief five minute conversation while you’re on a lunch break, walking to your next class, or whenever you have a moment of free time. I really appreciate that you’re always thinking of me.
30. You make me feel secure. After my past relationships, I knew that a sense of security was one of the things I would not settle for under any circumstances. I know that I can trust you 110%, thank you for always reminding me of this when I need it... and especially in times when I don’t even ask for it. You have no idea how much weight that carries with me. It means the world, babe.
31. I can see myself marrying you, and us building a future together. I’ve never been able to picture that with anyone else before with no hesitation. But with you, it’s easy. I know that I want to build a future with you.
32. You always smell good. It makes me want to hug you all day, everyday. But I’d hug you even if you were smelly, but that’s practically impossible for you.
33. You make it so easy to love you. It’s all these reasons, and so much more that I love you. Honestly, I could keep going. If there’s one thing I’ve learned after all my trials and tribulations in life— it’s that love is, and should be, easy. Because when you know, you just know. You’d do anything and everything to fight for that person, and vice versa. You never waver. You don’t hesitate. You follow your heart blindly. Things might not be peachy all the time, but loving this person becomes even easier as the days pass because there’s always something new to learn/love them even more for. That’s how I feel about you. Honestly, I’ve been wanting to express all the reasons why I love you for so long, but whenever I’m next to you... I’m so overwhelmed with emotions that I forget what I want to say. So I’m glad that I could express it to you this time in the best way I know how— by writing. Not even all these words and sentences could capture the love that I feel for you, but it’s the closest tangible representation of such. You’re the first person that I’ve ever been able to write so freely and easily about. Thank you for being so amazingly you. I will always love you for everything that you are, everything that you’re not, and everything that you could be. Happy one month anniversary, babe. I love you, and I will forever love you infinitely, eminently, and endlessly, Oscar Octavio Silva.
With love,
Your girlfriend, Irlee Uyen Nguyen
