Do you have any thoughts for what your whipple family adventure boys would be like as grownups? Like jobs and stuff, or who lives on whose couch?

I have! And it has been influenced by your fics a bit

I do agree that Shadow would be a mechanic, specializing in motorcycles. There would be a period where he just rides his bike across the United States, doing odd jobs for a bit of money, going where the wind takes him.

Silver would want to either be a farmer or have something to do with plants. He also probably gets married and is the first one to give Wade grandkids.

Eclipse is a bit of an enigma. Right now, it's hard to tell what he'd be like as an adult. Still fascinated by birds, still making trouble. He might be able to get a job, or might be a couch surfer. I'm not sure with him!

I'm amazed that you can write fics that are 250k+. I can write that much (wfma is going on 650k) but I feel like after a while, it should be separate fics because I'm moving on to other topics, other themes and such. Idk if I could have one that long that I feel is about the same thing

In your au, what do the game hedgehogs think of the smaller scu hedgies?

Sonic - Sonic kinda sees all three of them as unofficial little brothers. He thinks they're very cute and is more than willing to help them get home. But he's not gonna allow them to be bored while they're here! Sonic's the driving force behind a lot of the activities the group ends up doing during the SCU hedgies' stay. Sonic and Sonic Wachowski have a bit of a competitive rivalry going on, trying to figure out who's faster, better at video games, etc, but it's just for fun and neither are getting upset if they loose. Sonic and Shadow Whipple have a surprisingly close relationship. Sonic relates to the whole Selective Mutism thing and wants to help Shadow Whipple feel comfortable. The two end up paired up sometimes. Sonic and Silver Whipple haven't done a whole lot together yet in what I've written, but their relationship is good. Sonic thinks he's cute.

Shadow - Shadow's number one concern is to get these kids home before something bad happens to them, like GUN or Eggman. He doesn't want to waste time doing things that don't get the kids home, but often gets dragged along anyway. Shadow and Shadow have a bit of a strained relationship so far. Shadow Whipple is clearly intimidated by game Shadow, who can't for the life of him figure out why. However, they are slowly getting closer as time goes on. Shadow hasn't really interacted with the other two so far. He thinks they're both good kids, but Sonic Wachowski is a too loud and Silver Whipple is too emotional.

Silver - Hasn't interacted with the kids a whole lot in what I've written so far. He and Silver Whipple are having a good time together though. Silver thinks the kid is very cute and fluffy and he's more than willing to help him out. Silver thinks Sonic Wachowski can be a bit overwhelming with all his energy, but he likes his spirit. And Silver thinks Shadow Whipple is quiet and a bit closed off. Silver isn't really sure what to think of Shadow Whipple as a whole, but he's trying to be gentle with him and get him to relax. Maybe open up a bit. Silver's curious to hear Shadow Whipple's voice as he hasn't been able to yet.

silver would be in HEAVEN in build-a-bear. i wish webkinz was still popular, i bet he'd adore those too. and aurora flopsies, i don't think he'd care about branding ofc but mine are extremely soft and cuddly which he'd love.

I am very proud + honored to be a small part of an exciting exhibition of work by the @shootapalooza Collective, "Diversity: Alternative Paths in Contemporary Photography" at the Wichita Falls Museum of Art. The show runs until the end of May + is held in conjunction with an exhibition celebrating the life + work of Judy Sherrod, the founder of Shootapalooza. Judy's collaboration with @sgaylestevens, Nocturnes, is a highlight of this show. It is some of the most beautiful + powerful work I have ever seen, combining mammoth pinhole + wet plate to create haunting photographs of the gulf in Pass Christian, Mississippi.
