so ive been working on this large filet crochet dragon from that antique pattern book for two weeks. decided to do it in this pretty brown cotton i found two full skeins of at the thrift store, assuming i would have enough to finish... got about 3/4 of the way there and ran out of thread. went hmm ok i will order the only brown that is available from my craft store. it arrives and is the wrong shade, of course. so now i cant finish this beast and will probably rip it alllll out and use the brown again for something else. LOL
