How I'd love to know just what Buffy and Angel told each other about their lives offscreen. Because the comics have moments like this that definitely hint that they were telling each other some things.

Though I guess part of this one (unlike some of the other comic ones) was somewhat hinted at in Angel season 5: that Buffy and the Scoobies knew about Wolfram and Hart, that is--because in learning that Angel was now CEO of one of the branches, they didn't trust him anymore. At least according to Andrew.

ANYWAY, I do love this scene of Dawn and Xander meeting Lilah way too much.

Hi! Just wondering if you've read the buffy comics and if so, where did you find them? I'm working on finishing angel currently.

hiiiiiii i Love the buffy comics <3333 i mean by that i mean i love the dark horse comics they are my terrible campy beloveds <33 the idw titles are um . not always my worsties but often my worsties. the boom comics i havent read !

but as for the dark horse comics . if anyone Did Want To Find Them For Free Which Obviously You Shouldn't Because Piracy Is Bad, i would google readcomiconline . except Obviously Dont :)

that SAID bc i am Not Well i DO have a color-coded comics reading guide incl links and also incl my general thoughts on the smash-or-pass of the general dark horse comics titles :)))) like we're not exactly in no-skips territory here and the canon is large :)))) that said i will defend dark horse btvs comics canon to the ends of the earth :))) when it is terrible it's bc it's being terrible in a way that is specifically camp and fun and great and which i specifically understand SO

xanderdawn is literally one of the worst things i have ever heard in my life i cannot believe that its a thing that actually happened.

Yes, Buffy: because clearly you didn't date Angel, Riley, and Spike who were/are Scoobies. Nor did you briefly entertain the idea of dating Xander--before you realized he was in love with Dawn--who was/is a Scooby. LOL

For those who don’t know, Xander and Dawn are canon in the comics. And Dawn does love Xander. But something happened that was getting rid of all the magic in the world (long story there), but that meant that Dawn was dying. The Scoobies found a way to bring new magic in, that saved Dawn, but that sort of sent her back to her “factory settings” (though she still had all her memories), so her feelings for Xander returned to the schoolgirl crush she had on him when she was first created as the human version of the Key, rather than the actual love that had blossomed between them (which is why it is sort of a lie here, and Xander knows it, sadly). But Dawn’s able to fall in love with Xander again, and things work out for them:)

I’m seeing more of the Dawn/Connor pairing in Buffyverse fanfictions lately.

Which is funny, because recently I mentioned that I never saw that pairing (and I thought that people might ship them, even thought I don’t, myself) and I thought no one shipped them, then. Pfft. But, nope. People definitely do. I had just missed all the fics with them, apparently.

#but what's kind of weird is that i'm seeing them shipped in b*angel fanfiction (i say as a b*angel fan) #and that's just kind of weird. imo. for obvious reasons #if it were me i probably wouldn't write both pairings in one fic. but to each their own #you know... i said i don't ship dawnconnor and i really don't. but you know? if i had to choose them over xanderdawn i might choose the #former #they do kind of make sense. and are closer to each other's ages and stuff
