on the topic of produce groups and popularity while i do think the built in fanbase any contestant has on a produce show gets is a bonus there are some anomalies in popularity that dont always guarantee produce contestant alumni success. ive and lssfm have the most popular members in izone. meanwhile everglow is popular overseas (not sure about korea they dont have many wins) with midranking/lowranking produce 48 members. but cube has a group thats about half produce 48 members mid/high ranking that barely get promo? these arent the most solid examples because a contestant doesnt have the same amount of popularity as someone in a produce group *but* weki meki has 2 produce members in their group from i.o.i (who were very popular)and they dont have much popularity to show for it. so its a balance between company and member popularity. if a good company has less popular contestants or members they can make it work.(i.e. everglow) if a bad company has a popular member its not always a surefire success. (chungha basically put her company on the map meanwhile fromis 9 had a FLOP company until hybe finally swooped in) starship and hybe hit the jackpot. popular members AND good promo.
i mean yea, it absolutely does depend on how the company handles it and how popular each individual member is. saying everyone gets the same popularity boost from being on a produce show is a bit too much of a blanket statement bc honestly it's about half and half if the popularity actually does something significant or not. like even for wanna one; you have kang daniel who's more or less a household name, and also yoon jisung, who does musicals and cute flop citypop tracks and makes songs with his dog. and there's also how the show saved nu'est from the brink, even when minhyun didn't promote with them for two years. even at the less opposite ends of the spectrum, ab6ix might as well be called daehwi and the woojins, but baejin barely stands out from the rest of cix anymore, even though they are similar groups with similar-ish popularity. and of course that's not even bringing up the mess that was x1 and how all the offshoot groups from that are doing.

Yoon Jisung - Perfect Fit
Requested By: anonny (“ Hello there! I was wondering if you'll open up requests again? I really liked your When We Met series and wanted to request a first date with Ji Sung scenario. Keep up the good work and take as much time as you need! ”)
Genre: Fluff, First Date
Note: So this was requested by an anon back when I had just opened up my requests again, sometime last year. It’s taken me a bit to write this, but I do hope that this individual is still around to read it ;___; A first date story for Jisung was interesting because I kind of wanted to write something a bit different for him this time around. I hope that you all enjoy it. Please, as always, feel free to let me know what you think!
Enjoy~
Because of the situation with tumblr links, please check my bio for links to my masterlist~

Combed and styled hair, check. Comfortable clothes and a nice light cologne, check. No food in his teeth, check. A deep and heavy sigh left Jisung's lips as he tried to relax, letting himself slump in the driver side seat for a minute. Honestly, Jisung couldn't remember the last time he was this nervous. Hell, even going to job interviews didn't seem this nerve-wracking. But tonight, he couldn't help but feel nervous. This was his first date in over a year... and she was utterly out of his league. He had every right to feel apprehensive. After all, for the last couple of years, all he focused on was his job.
Jisung worked as a radio DJ. In the early years of his program, he struggled to make it stand out from the other radio shows. At one point, the station had threatened to cut his show if he couldn't think of something compelling to boost interest for it. Jisung spent the entire day trying to figure out something that could set him apart from the other shows, and he really feared he wouldn't find something. Much to his luck, a long-time listener was the one to save the show. She wrote in saying that, she knew it wasn't the purpose of the show, but she hoped that he could help her with something. She voiced her concern, and after much thought, Jisung gave her some advice on how to handle the situation.  He was kind, understanding, and gentle in his response to her worries. He thanked her for sharing her story with them, and he thought that was the end of it.
However, when he arrived at work the following day, he was told that a handful of listeners had sent in their own concerns, after hearing Jisung's show. They asked if he would be willing to give them advice, and like that, a new segment was born. So now, every day on his radio show, Jisung would listen or read concerns that people sent in. He would do his best to assist them in any way that he could. Jisung had always wanted to create a program that made a bit of a difference, and with this, he felt like he had succeeded.
In hindsight, it was only natural that this segment would come to life on his show. Jisung was naturally like this in his everyday life. He was the friend that everyone would run to when they needed someone to listen. He was the one that helped to form the action plan. He was the friend that helped through the hard times, so extending this to strangers was expected of him.  Honestly, Jisung felt fulfilled with the way his radio program developed. A calm and relaxing atmosphere where people could feel comfortable to share their stories.
Interestingly enough, Jisung's sensitive nature also helped when it came to romance. On more than one occasion, he found himself noticing how people acted towards each other. Secretly at first, he began to play matchmaker, suggesting that a friend should meet up with that acquaintance from a group dinner, and little things like that. It actually worked pretty well. Even though he didn't want to puff his own feathers, he felt like his success rate was quite high.
There was a small hitch in all of this. Even though he could matchmake for his friends, he was doing a terrible job at finding someone for himself. The dates he went on never went well. The person he met with would either be uninterested or tell him mid-date that he wasn't their type. It was painful, of course, which was why Jisung decided to take a break from dating. It felt like it wasn't the right time to find someone for himself. Instead, he grew content just helping others find their special someone.
Well, that was until he met you.
You tagged along with your friend, Miyeon, when she came to meet his close friend Dongho for their third consecutive date. The new couple promptly abandoned the both of you to go on their day, and Jisung couldn't help but wonder if it was purposeful. Had the two of them just blatantly set him up on a blind date? You also seemed to realize that something was up, but you hadn't mentioned it at the time. Being there with you wasn't bad at all. If anything, he couldn't help but be captured by your beauty. Looks weren't everything, of course, but you entranced him from the moment you sat down. Even your personality was one that he liked. The more that you talked with each other, just passing the time, the more he found himself falling for each one of your little habits. He couldn’t help himself.
"So Miyeon tells me that you're a radio DJ and that one of your segments is to listen to concerns that people send in?" you inquired, and Jisung nodded and smiled in response. "Do you think you could tell me why every guy I date keeps dumping me?"
Jisung felt his heart drop as soon as that question left your lips. He thought that things were going well, but it seemed like you had other intentions. He should have known. There was no way someone like you could be interested in him. Jisung gave a small smile and was about to answer when you started giggling. "I was only joking," you reassured him. “Well, not about the fact that guys keep dumping me, but I’m not here to get advice from you. I'm sorry if I gave you the wrong idea...”
He really thought you were serious, and a heavyweight felt like it was lifted from his shoulders at your admission. Jisung couldn't help but chuckle. "Honestly, I don't know why anyone would dump you. You've been nothing but pleasant and a joy to be around since we met," he replied honestly. This was the start of your friendship... and Jisung's little crush.
The more he learned about you, the more he fell for you. It felt fitting with your kind personality that you were working so hard to get through veterinary school, wanting to work with and help animals. He had told you, at the time, that the only one that seemed to understand him was his dog, and you couldn’t help but giggle. You made a joke that it was possible that the two of you were just destined to be with your pets, and he wasn’t sure what had spurred it on,  but he asked you out. The two of you at that point had been meeting up for two weeks just to hang out, but nothing felt like it was a date. Jisung found the courage somewhere within him to ask, and you agreed. And that was where he was now. Sitting outside of your apartment, waiting for you to come down.
Jisung had the evening all planned out. You had told him about a carnival that came to town a week ago, and last he checked, it was still around. He thought the two of you could start your evening there. After that, if you were up for it, he wanted to take you to a restaurant he had heard a lot about from some friend. They said he was the perfect place for an excellent first impression on a date. Usually, Jisung would stick to the places he knew, but he felt like he could use all the help he could get tonight. Then he would take you home for the night and hope to god that you would call him back for another date.
Jisung was so lost in his thoughts, thinking of the more delicate points of the night, like what rides the two of you should go on, that he didn’t realize that someone was at his car door. It wasn’t until you gently knocked on the passenger side window that he almost jumped a foot in the air – only being foiled by the roof of his car – before realizing that it was your smiling face staring at him through the tinted glass. He sent you a smile right away before unlocking the door. Great, he even screwed up on properly greeting you when you finally arrived. This was leaving a sick feeling in his stomach. The date had barely started, and it wasn’t perfect. Ah, what was he going to do…
“I’m sorry, Jisung! I didn’t mean to scare you. I texted and told you that I was on my way down, but you didn’t reply, so I thought I would come and see if you were here already. Are you alright?” you asked after you got into the car. Your hand gently reached over for Jisung, lightly touching the top of his head to make sure a bump hadn’t formed. You felt sorry for scaring him like that.
“I’m fine, but I don’t think that my ego is…” he informed you with a soft chuckle, the feeling of your hand on the top of his head was strangely comforting. You giggled a bit at his response, and when he reassured you again that he was alright, you situated yourself, pulling your seatbelt on.
Jisung looked at you out of the corner of his eye, and he couldn’t help but take in how lovely you looked. You were dressed simply. Just a button-up tucked into a pair of jean shorts, but it suited you well. “You look really nice tonight,” he told you honestly.
You felt your cheeks grow warm at his words. "Ah, it's really nothing. You told me to dress in something comfortable since we would be going to the carnival, so I thought this would be a good choice?" you stated, though it came out as more of a question. You watched as Jisung nodded, another compliment rolling from his lips, making you smile.
You had grown fond of Jisung over the last month. That time that the two of you met, you thought would be the last time you saw him. You had made that joke about needing advice on why guys kept dumping you, and you should have known better. Jisung did that every day for a living. A stunt like that when he didn't know you personally, could have sounded like an actual request. So you thought he would want nothing to do with you, that you had offended him. But to your luck, he did contact you, and you were pretty happy he had. You were shy by nature, so asking someone to hang out was just… not in your list of things that you could do. But with Jisung it was easy, and when he asked you out on an official date, you were over the moon. Now all the two of you had to do was make sure that you were compatible with each other.
The pair of you had a nice chat while Jisung drove you to the carnival. After he parked, Jisung walked around to help you out, like a gentleman, holding his hand out to you so that the pair of you could go hand in hand to buy your tickets. You had offered to pay, but Jisung was too fast and already had his card at the ready. “You don’t get to pay for everything tonight, okay? It’s going to be even,” you warned him, and he only chuckled in response.
Once the two of you received your tickets, you suggested that you go get some food first. Typically, you would eat after work, but today, since you wanted to look presentable to a certain someone, you decided to forgo food to get ready. Jisung apologized for not taking you to eat first, but you were quick to push away his worries, pulling him over to a food booth that you found tasty and ordering, paying before the male could even think of pulling out his card.
With your snacks in hand, the pair of you walked around, looking at some of the games and your eyes lit up when you saw a giant polar bear plush hanging from one of the booths. However, you didn't linger long and pulled Jisung forward, knowing that games like that had a meager rate of success. It was how they made their money. Still, your look did not go unnoticed by Jisung, and instead of moving on, he led you over to the booth.
“So, whatcha gonna try for?” the man running the booth asked.
"I think I'll try for the polar bear," he said confidently, as the man running the booth raised a brow at him. Still, he wasn't going to turn Jisung away and proceeded to explain the rules of the game. All Jisung had to do was knock over three sets of stacked milk bottles to win the polar bear. It sounded easy enough, but the biggest problem was that he was awful at these types of games. Yet he was still going to give it a try. So, winding up, he threw the first ball... and much to no one's surprise, he missed.
"Aw, son, you aren't going to embarrass yourself in front of such a lovely lady, are you? Here, I'll give you that one for free. You get three more tries," the man advised, and with each of the throws, Jisung wasn't able to knock over any of the stacks. He came close with one of them, but it still didn't fall over.
"You really don't have to try for it, Jisung," you urged, but Jisung was already giving him more money for more balls to throw. Three times in and still nothing and you knew you had to stop him. “It’s really okay,” you said.
Even if you told him that it was okay, Jisung felt terrible that he couldn't do something so simple for you. Even while you were pulling him away from the booth, the man chuckled, and that only got him more riled up. "But he's taunting me..." Jisung said with a pout.
"And he was taking your money was hile was doing so. It's best that we go try something else. That polar bear wasn't even that cute," you told him, already moving towards the rides to try and wash away how bad that experience was.
The two of you never got to go on any of the rides, however. Just before you had gotten in line for one of them, Jisung felt something wet his cheek. At first, it was once, then two, then they came more frequently. And before it even fully registered to either of you what was going on, a downpour happened. Wait a minute, there was no forecasted rain today. He checked five times before he sent you the plans for today. Why was this happening?!
The people around you started to scatter, and Jisung knew that you both needed to as well. He gestured for you to follow him toward the car, but stopped in his tracks when his eyes landed on you. He realized that, in the process of telling you to dress comfortably, it also meant that you wore pieces that were a bit thin, your shirt already soaked all the way through. So, he quickly pulled off his jacket, draping it over your shoulders before he led you back to the car.
Jisung gently, but swiftly guided you out to the parking lot, back to where his car was located. He was quick to unlock the doors so that the pair of you could escape the torrential downpour. Yet just as he was about to climb in, he noticed that you were still nervously standing outside. “You’re gonna get soaked if you don’t get in the car,” Jisung finally said, a bit confused by your hesitation.
Your heart had been warmed by his earlier gesture, giving you his jacket when he would end up completely soaked as well. But now, you were having a hard time just jumping into his car. "But Jisung... your nice car seats..." you murmured softly, knowing that the gorgeous detailing would be completely ruined if your drenched forms got inside. You saw the realization cross his features, but it was soon replaced with a soft smile.
"Don't worry about it. I can get the car fixed if I need to. But I won't be able to live with myself if you get sick because of a freak rainstorm that happened in the middle of our date. So please, get in the car so that you can warm up," he urged, before the two of you quickly entered. He thought it was cute that even in a situation like this you were thinking of something like that. You were really too kind.
Once the two of you were in the car, the heater warming up your chilled bodies, Jisung couldn't help but let out a heavy sigh. He thought his plans for the night had been impeccable, but they were proving to be anything but. From his handful of failed attempts at the carnival game to his inability to read a weather forecast. He would honestly understand if you never wanted to see him again. He messed up a perfectly fine evening. Feeling dejected, he finally spoke up. "You know what, I'll just take you home..." he said, his eyes staring out at the rain. He couldn't bring himself to look at you. He felt too ashamed.
As soon as those words left Jisung's lips, you whipped your head up to look at him, confusion evident in your features. Your night was over, just like that? But the two of you hadn't gotten a chance to really connect yet. You were enjoying his company, and now he just wanted to drop you at home. You knew that he felt terrible about how badly this date was going, but you didn't blame him for any of it. He couldn't control any of it.
Though it usually wasn't like you to speak up, you knew that you had to this time. “Jisung, I’m kind of hungry, maybe we could go get something to eat?” you suggested.
Jisung gave you a look. Were you pitying him? Was that why you suggested that the two of you should eat together?" "Your clothes are soaked all the way through, and you want to go eat?" he asked, watching as you gently bit your lip, seemingly forgetting that little fact. “It’s okay if this date ends you know. I won’t be angry with you.”
It seemed like Jisung had taken your gesture in the wrong way. You would have to be more forward with your words. "But I don't want the date to end," you said, barely above a whisper. You could feel Jisung's eyes on you, your hands gently clutching at the jacket that he had wrapped over your shoulders to warm yourself up a bit. “I like spending time with you Jisung. I don’t care that it rained. I don’t care if the date isn’t perfect. I just want to spend time with you,” you admitted. The words were simple, maybe a bit childish, but you couldn't think of another way to put your feelings out there. Getting to know Jisung was honestly really too good to be true. In that short amount of time, you learned to care about him.
Silence fell between the two of you, and you momentarily thought that you had said something wrong. You were about to speak up again when you heard Jisung chuckle. "If you want to go eat, who am I to say no?" he replied, a smile spreading on your features. "But why don't we wait a bit before we go? Let's get ourselves warmed up first, and then I'll drive you to one of my favorite restaurants. I was actually going to take you to this other place. People seemed to like it, but given the way all of my pre-planned things have been going, I figured we should try something familiar, just in case, hm?”
You nodded enthusiastically in response to his words. The two of you shared a look and soon started to chat again. Honestly, you couldn't think of a better way to be spending your evening. Sure, things didn't go smoothly, but maybe that didn't matter when you realized that you did indeed match quite well with the person sitting across from you...

Finally
Prompt: #30 + #35 for anon - “Welcome to fatherhood” + “You need to see a doctor.”
Pairing: Yoon Jisung x female reader
Genre: domestic au / pregnancy au
Warnings: none
Word count: 982
Tumblr media
“You need to see a doctor,” Jisung mentioned, rubbing your back gently as you sat up from your hunched position over the toilet bowl. You felt weak all over, but unlike Jisung, you knew why. The answer had arrived earlier on in the day when you had finally caved after feeling unwell for days and tried a pregnancy test.
Or five, because you definitely needed to make sure it was real this time.
After months of trying, you were finally pregnant. It seemed a little too surreal, and in amongst the vomiting plaguing your weakened body, you were attempting to come up with the best way to tell your husband the good news.
His eyes washed over you worriedly. “You seem to have a nasty stomach bug. Did you eat anything bad over the last day? Maybe it’s food poisoning. My poor baby, I hate seeing you this miserable.”
Of course, Jisung had yet to connect your throwing up like this to anything more than what he expected a person to face when sick. It took all your remaining energy to not blurt it out right then, knowing you had to make this special for him. He had wanted a child with you for so long now.
“I’ll book one in the morning,” you promised, his eyes still concerned. Smiling gently, you patted his lower arm and nodded once.
You couldn’t wait to tell him.
Tumblr media
“I’m sorry, what did you just say?!” you asked the ultrasound technician, and she smiled at your exclamation. “Did you say, two?”
“Two very healthy babies. Here is Baby A, and then to the right here in this second little gestational sack is Baby B.”
“I’m pregnant with two?” you repeated, and the woman laughed warmly.
“Congratulations!”
You hadn’t expected that. Even when she handed you the sonogram photos, you still couldn’t believe it. You drove home completely in another world, and once you turned off the ignition to the car, you were thankful you actually made it home safely and had a small panic over driving in such a state.
After all, you had the three of you to protect now.
Three.
You remained unfocused for the rest of the day. You were thankful Jisung was busy with work, and after a phone call to ensure you were fine after your doctor’s appointment; you had successfully avoided any further concern from him. If you had to be in his space for too long you would just blurt it all out, and even though he was the one person you wanted to share this news with the most, you had always envisioned this moment in your life.
Being able to show him your tests, the scans, and package it all neatly with a bow on top too. You lived for the Youtube videos of pregnancy announcements and gender reveals, and you always dreamed that you would be able to share that joy with Jisung.
It just felt so unreal to be planning it in reality now.
Luckily for you, you crashed early into the night, fatigue taking over your body from all the “morning” sickness. For you, nausea seemed to hit you at all points of the day and night, and you wanted nothing more than to sleep it away, barely acknowledging your husband slipping into bed beside you late at night.
In the morning, he was gone before you rose, with a note saying he’d be home for lunch today.
It didn’t give you a lot of time but you managed to gather what you needed in supplies, grateful from your excitement to start your family that you had already ordered a pack of onesies a year ago. The concentration on your project made the hours slip by and you just managed to have everything ready in time, placing the boxed gift on the bench before you turned to dash into the kitchen and start preparing some food for lunch.
“Honey, I’m home,” Jisung called out ten minutes later, and your anticipation bounced around in your stomach. You watched to see him come into view, his warm greeting soon faltering when he saw the gift sitting on the countertop. He frowned. “What’s this?”
“It’s for you,” you mentioned, hoping you didn’t sound too eager. You tried to keep your eyes on what you were doing and not on Jisung.
“What did I do to warrant this?” he asked with a playful tone, placing his things down and started unwrapping the box.
“You’ll soon see!”
Abandoning the food prep, you turned to watch his expression; his warm eyes alight with curiosity. Jisung glanced at you and then back at his task, opening the box you had folded closed under the wrapping paper and then he stopped moving altogether. You rounded the counter and shifted to his side, peering into the box.
You had decorated the lid with the words Due June 2019, along with the scans stuck to either side and drew a bunch of question marks around it all. Jisung’s eyes were fixated on the package on the inside of the box, not reaching to touch it.
“Aren’t you going to look further?” you asked, feeling too excited and impatient for him to not keep going.
He blinked rapidly, glancing at you with tears pooling in his eyes. “You’re pregnant?”
“Keep opening your present,” you urged, and you husband lifted his shaking hands to the final gift, unwrapping the onesies and gasped.
“From two to four, I wonder what’s in store?” he read the card you placed over the garments aloud and then turned to you in shock. “T-twins?”
You nodded and he shrieked, hugging you tightly. When he pulled back, his hand nestled over your stomach and you laughed as your own happy tears started pouring out of your eyes. “We’re having twins.”
“Really?!”
“Welcome to fatherhood, Jisung. We’re finally going to be parents.”
Finally.

series: fate bound (1/11)
pairing: yoon jisung/reader
word count: 1.3k
summary: You cursed at yourself for how you couldn't love the man in the hospital bed who looked at you so sweetly. Too bad you couldn't feel the same way he did.
more: guanlin | daehwi | jinyoung | jihoon | woojin | daniel | jaehwan | seongwoo | minhyun | sungwoon | jisung
In this universe, you are born with a “soulmate clock” ticking down to every single second to when you would meet your soulmate. Everyone around you was intrigued by the fact that the clock on your wrist was set to such a limited amount of time. The average time that one would meet your soulmate was almost 18 years when most people became legal, but yours was set to 8 years, 10 years off. You never grasped the concept but everything changed when you entered the hospital waiting room.
Your soulmate wasn’t in the waiting room, you could tell, but with watchful eyes, you stared at the clock that took a toll with every breath you took. And while you sat in the chair which seemed strangely far away from all the others, you thought to yourself why would you meet him in a hospital? You almost cried at the thoughts that took a wrong road. And as both hands of the clock stopped, the door opened to a boy in a hospital gown. Barefoot he walked, he had tightly gripped around the machine he strolled along with him. You paused, your heart beating in an irregular manner and your breath hitched. The way Jisung looked at you was indescribable, the same as the way he felt. Why he felt that way he didn’t know. Jisung was almost special, both in his state and to you. You visited him often in his hospital room after that, even though this was the only way to see him, you quickly became friends with him. You liked that you both felt comfortable around each other, even though he was lying in the hospital bed with tubes surrounding him. The tubes scared you. Jisung was a small child enveloped in his enormous white bed, it was like he would be swallowed by it and disappear. You didn’t want that. You needed him in your life. A while later, when you were in high school, your mind had grown to see others with soulmates be affectionately bonding with them. People told you that this was normal but having never experienced it, you were confused. Many people consulted you on you and your soulmate and if you met already. Telling them dead straight about Jisung’s condition, they quickly apologized and retreated. There were talks about how you felt a special connection and how love was how you wanted the best for the other person. Whenever you heard this subject over and over again, you thought of you and Jisung. You felt a special connection and wanted the best, but the conversation would always dive deeper and state that you felt romantical for your partner. It was never like you never thought romantically of him, maybe it was just some type of cheerful fairy tale where the princess gets saved by the knight. But here the knight can’t just do that. You saw him as a friend which you adored above all else. Your visits began to get more spaced out when you entered medical school. When you told him that you were becoming a doctor, he was in awe. “Maybe when you become a doctor, you could help me. You’ll be better than the other doctors.” He said, stroking your hair. And his eyes, oh his eyes, looked at you like you were the only thing keeping him alive. These words flowed through your ears. How could you fall out of love with a man so sweet? You hated that you could never feel the same way he did for you, he never had to say anything, his eyes said it all. Your eyes couldn’t reach his anymore, because whenever you looked at those painful eyes masked with his own love for you, you knew you were just hurting the both of you. So, for then, you just then you prayed. Years passed by, with your success reaching a high with his health on a low. Jisung was strong even though he might not’ve looked like it. So when you returned to the same hospital room he had used for more than 20 years of his life in with more tubes and machines than ever stuck to him, you were shocked. You wanted to say something to him, but you felt like it wasn’t appropriate. What mattered was that you were officially a doctor now. That news would make him happy. Right? You waited an hour until he woke up. During this time, your hand traced his soft cheek and thought of how unfortunate you both were: to meet early and fall earlier. Tears stung your eyes as he slept. As he woke up to the sight of tears being shed, he showed a kind smile and played with your hand. It was almost cold, limp even. “It’s been months.” His voice contradicted his smile. Your voice shook, “It has been.”You nervously laughed.“And I’ve become a doctor in those months. Top of the class even, Jisung.” “Well, I’m proud of you.” His eyes looked crestfallen as you cried even more. “Now I’m sure of what will be happening if you’re that sad?” “Of course, I know,” you replied sobbing into your hands. And with that, he hugged you. “Even if you don’t feel the same about me, my heart will unquestionably be yours at the end.” You stood at the head of the table with the medic team waiting for instructions, examining the limp body before you. You bit your lip in nervousness, then began making your incisions. There was little that could be done for him, even though you wanted the best for him, which was everything. Not everything wrong with Jisung could be made okay with surgery. Everything from the outside from the tubes from the machines needed to be present during the surgery, not all of them, but enough to make the whole entire process harder. You finished the surgery and told the team to clean up. And you watched as the nurses started to take Jisung back to his room. After the successful surgery, you had work around the clock you had to do so the only way you could see him was after your shift. You made your way in the corridor to your last appointment. A nurse quickly ran up to you. “Doctor! Yoon Jisung of Room 188 has a problem!” The blurred words brought you into a haze, but you ran anyway. No elevator, just dashing down the stairs. And as you made your way into the room, you saw him. You screamed running across the room to find his heartbeat. In those 10 seconds you got to save your soulmate, you rushed all operations because you just wanted the best for him. And when the heart monitor line flattened like your special connection had, you screamed because you didn’t know what else to do. You couldn’t tell if he was happy or sad that this was happening. Maybe happy that he got to see you again before he left, or sad that he’ll never see you in this lifetime. He opened his mouth to say something, a single tear rolling down his face. But it closed, and he could speak no more. “Even if you don’t feel the same about me, my heart will unquestionably be yours at the end.” His words from yesterday haunted every corner in you. Your heart rate stopped itself, and oh how horribly you hoped that things could have ended a different way for you both.
Yoon Jisung. Successful surgery. Died of heart failure nearly hours after surgery in Room 188. 04/29/19. 5:28 PM KST.
But time keeps ticking, even if we want it to stop.

yoon jisung|the heirs
Tumblr media
member: yoon jisung genre: fluff summary: heirs au! you the cold hearted ice princess and jisung the friendly outgoing warm sweetheart. when you and jisung are the only senior students staying at 101 academy for winter break. will jisung be able to melt your heart? heirs series: hwang minhyun | kang daniel | park woojin | yoon jisung | ong seongwoo | park jihoon
you looked at the list of people staying for winter break
the only other senior student was yoon jisung
you automatically thought what an awkward winter break it’ll be
jisung and you weren’t close but of course you knew him
he was one of the most liked guys at school
warm, friendly, kind, hilarious, fun, sociable
good looking and ridiculously rich
the mother of the heirs
the 11 guys aka kings of your school who were infamous for their good looks, talents and ridiculously large fortunes
most of them were distant from the other students but one of the only approachable ones was jisung
he was a complete extrovert
on the other hand
you were the ice princess unapproachable, untouchable, cold, distant, elegant, intimidating
too perfect
you had no friends just business acquaintances
not a single person approached you
even if you were one of the wealthiest girls in 101 academy
it was rumoured you had an ice cold heart
you hated being like this
loneliness and emptiness was all you felt
you had no one who cared about you
no friends whatsoever
and your family never thought you were enough
your parents expected
ice cold perfection
and you hated it
but you still delivered
though you still wished someone came into your life and saw past the cold ice princess mask and cared and loved about you with all your flaws
sounds like a job for jisung
you knew it was going to be an interesting holiday
when jisung saw that you were the other student he completely agreed with what you thought
and then cursed the rule that all the senior students needed to eat at least 2 meals together if they’re staying over the holidays
which meant you two had to actually interact with each other
the first breakfast of the winter break was stiff and awkward to say the least
“good morning miss y/l/n” jisung said friendly
“hello” you curtly responded
jisung fell silent before trying to strike up a conversation again
“what are you doing today?”
“reading” you said without giving a glance at him
he sighed and you felt bad you knew he was trying but you knew you also had to try to be at least polite
so you tried to organise the meals
“jisung-ssi, it would probably be best for us to plan a schedule for both of us to have a smoother winter break, so i’m suggesting we have breakfast and lunch together. either of us can knock on each other’s bedroom’s when they want to have the meal. what do you think?”
jisung was shocked for a moment at how polite you were but quickly agreed
“sounds simple and effective, i’m in”
you nod at him
and then both of you eat your breakfast in silence
the next week went by and you two got along surprisingly really well
and in a very weird way you felt like a couple
you two even had a morning routine
jisung was the earlier riser so he was like your alarm clock
after he woke up would go to your room and he’d knock on the door until you’d say you were up
you’d both spend 30 minutes on showering and dressing
then get to the eating area
and the waiters would immediately come out with your food since you two always order beforehand usually the night before
first you’d pour cereal into your bowl while jisung poured milk then you two would switch
you’d then spread nutella on one slice of your toast while jisung was spreading mashed avocados on one of his slices
then you two would switch
cheers your pieces of avocado toast and then take a bite
it was really relaxing and it was the same routine everyday
once you two finished you had some hot drinks
and that was the only time you two talked
it was also the favourite part of your day
you realised jisung wasn’t some overly social happy rich kid
he was kind caring gentle and funny
and he realised you weren’t an ice princess
in his eyes you were introverted soft spoken and sweet
the conversations were always sweet, warm and short
and whenever you two were talking you felt complete at ease
you also couldn’t help but smile more around him
especially after jisung said to you one of the mornings
“you should smile more y/n, you really look beautiful when you do”
he turned slightly pink but it was no comparison
to your full ruby red blush
you felt your palms go sweaty and your heart start fluttering
it was completely new and different feeling
and it was just as the movies and books said
that rush of warmth
that’s how you felt around jisung
it was the 1st of december
you two completed the whole morning routine as normal
until you two got to eating
it was the first snowfall
the snow looked pristine
white and beautiful
“wow the snow looks perfect” jisung exclaimed
“it does” you whispered detachedly
you hated it
not snow itself
but the perfectness of it all
the supposed flawlessness
it reminded you of yourself
you remember your mother saying from when you were an early age pointing to the snow and saying
“y/n doesn’t the snow look perfect, no flaws just complete perfection, that’s what you need to be sweetheart”
from that time on you loved kicking or just walking in the snow
ruining it of that perfect appearance
it was like the snow was a reminder of who you should be around jisung
and you instantly felt shitty
with that thought you finished your morning coffee quickly
“jisung, i’ll see you later, bye” cutting him right off his sentence
he looked at you worriedly as you rushed away
you quickly went outside
and started pacing in the snow
trying to get rids of your jitters
of course you thought about jisung
the last week or so, was wonderful
jisung didn’t expect anything from you
he was always caring and sweet
and you felt warm and safe around him
you didn’t need to be cold hearted around him
no pretending, no mask, nothing
just you
but jisung’s voice snaps you out of your thoughts
you didn’t realise that you were pacing in the snow in a thin hoodie and sweatpants
nor did you notice how cold you were getting nor how much you were burning up
you were completely swept up by your thoughts
jisung called out your name “Y/N!!”
he rushed over to you concerned with your winter jacket
he quickly puts on it you and puts his hand on your forehead
“y/n you’re burning up, why are you in the snow with these clothes on?” he asked concerned
“umm i needed to think?” you suggested hesitantly
“you’re telling me the real reason why later, but first let’s get you to bed” he said gently
with an arm around you and you leaning on him
you really bright red not just because of the fever
once you got to your room
jisung automatically made you go to your bed
and got your first aid kit to check your temperature
“y/n you’re burning up you’re 38°C stay in bed today okay? let me take care of you today” jisung said gently
“i’m just gonna quickly make some hot chocolate” he added sweetly
“thank you jisung” you sincerely say
making him smile a heart melting smile at you while going out of your room
you couldn’t help but continuously smile thinking that jisung really did care about you
and your heart was all soft and fluffy as that realisation set in
jisung quickly came back with two mugs of hot cocoa topped with toasted marshmallows
yes jisung is that extra to blow torch the marshmallows
he gave you your mug your hands brushing each others
making your conscious giving a girly squeal making you feel like a love sick puppy
then handed you some medicine and water you quickly downed that
and then started to drink your hot chocolate
you realised that jisung was still standing because he didn’t want to sit on your bed if you wouldn’t be comfortable with it
“jisung come lie down i really don’t mind” you say welcomingly (is that even a word)
patting the space beside you which trust me was a lot you had a queen sized bed
“are you sure?” he hesitantly asked
“of course” you reply sweetly
jisung stiffly sat next to you
“jisung bloody lie down and get comfy before you actually turn into a statue” you say with a roll of your eyes
jisung finally complies with a weak chuckle
“can we watch a movie?” he asks looking at your huge flatscreen tv
“yeah sure, what do you want to watch?” you say while drinking your hot cocoa
“the notebook” he says with zero hesitation
“you’ll need tissues then” you say with a cheeky smile
“nah i won’t cry” jisung says confidently while your raise an eyebrow at him
fast forward to the credits scene and jisung is still sobbing
his eyes are all puffy red and tissues are all around him
you shed a few tears but most of the time you were giggling at jisung then comforting him
the two of you order pizza from the kitchens and jisung goes to pick it up
and then you two go on a christmas movie marathon
before you knew it
you were sleeping in jisung arms
jisung had no idea what to do as he held you in your arms
he thought of the last week with you
he was falling for you hard
your gentle calm softness worked perfectly with his loud vivacious personality
you balanced him perfectly
whenever he looked at you he wanted to wrap his arms around you and never let you go
you were beautiful and fragile in his eyes
jisung knew you didn’t have any friends and you were known to have an ice cold heart
in his eyes you were nothing like that and even if you did have an ice heart
it was definitely melting
because of him
he hoped
with those thoughts he fell asleep with a smile on his face and his arms wrapped even tighter around you
for once you woke up earlier than jisung
the first thing you saw was jisung’s face with his hair sticking everywhere and slightly snoring
even then you thought he was the cutest person you’ve ever seen
you then realised jisung’s arms were around you and you did an internal happy dance
“gosh i’m so whipped” you whispered
you didn’t know whether it was the fact that jisung was the first person to see through the “ice princess” persona
or whether it was just him
at this point you didn’t care you were falling for him and no matter what anyone else said including your parents
you were determined to not let go of one of the best things that ever happened to you
“did you really mean all that” jisung hopefully whispered opening his sleepy eyelids
“wait did i just say that out loud?” you said absolutely mortified
“yup now answer my question”  jisung grinned happily
“i meant it” you whispered before pulling the blanket over your head and hoping the ground would swallow you up
jisung chuckled and started tickling you and you couldn’t help but laugh while telling him to stop
your head finally popped out of the blankets
and with no warning jisung kissed you on the cheek
making you blush and your insides turning into mush
“i’m falling for you too y/n” he said sweetly while giving you his signature beaming smile
“really?” you hopefully say
“yes really” he confirmed
before you knew it he was leaning in and you were frozen
but your heart was beating so fast
the moment his lips met yours
you completely relaxed and you enjoyed it wholeheartedly
it was soft sweet warm
filled with affection
you two broke apart with wide grins
then jisung wrapped his arms around you making
and you instantly snuggled into him
it felt completely right
just like jisung was for you
the next two weeks sailed by
it was amazing
everyday you woke up in jisung’s arms
and you hung out with each most of the day
you now knew jisung inside out and he was the same with you
jisung was so understanding about your thing with perfection and your “ice princess” persona
you remember him hugging you then saying sweetly to you
“y/n perfection is impossible, everyone has flaws but i love you just as yourself with all your flaws okay? and you should too”
you then couldn’t but give him a kiss for what he said
afterwards you two went into the snow and kicked it made a mess of it and then had a snowball fight
it ended with both of you laying in the snow laughing
while you two were lying down in the snow
out of the blue jisung asked you “y/n this has been one of the best few weeks of my life with you so will you be my girlfriend?”
you were surprised but super happy and you of course said yes
but that wonderful winter fairytale came to an end
it was first day back from winter break and you were worried
luckily you had jisung in all your morning classes
EVERYONE was staring at you and jisung holding hands
and you hear the whispers and feel the glares
then people started gossiping more when one of the younger students came barrelling into you and fell
instead of glaring at them walking off as you usually do
you asked if they were okay and helped them up
literally the whole corridor was SHOOK
you just wanted the day to end to be honest
“just ignore the stares you have me okay?” jisung whispered in your ear as he grabbed your hand tighter as you entered the cafeteria
literally more silent then when woojin and his girlfriend came in holding hands for the rest time
you could hear a pin drop in the cafeteria
even the heirs table looked pretty bloody shook
the first one to snap out of it was daehwi who you were acquaintances with
“hey y/n, jisung, come sit” he friendly said
you gave him a smile which resulted with a brief look of shock
“okay seriously what is it with one of our guys being completely single for like forever then first day back BOOM they’re holding hands with a girl” seongwoo groans trying to diffuse the tension
making everyone laugh
“seongwoo you’re just jealous you’re still single” said woojin’s girlfriend poking a tongue out at him
he then poked his tongue out and pouted cause it was true
not for long seongwoo not for long *hint* *hint *cough-nextfic-cough*
she quickly turned to you and said light hearted and sweetly “the stares and looks die down after wait- never-good luck, the cafeteria seemed even more silent when you two walked in then when me and woojin walked in”
“i’m used to it but cheers for dramatic entrances” you say with a smile and you two gave each other a hi five
everyone looked at you two shocked
while jisung just smiled and looked at you adoringly wrapping his arm around you
while you just snuggled into him
“wow the ice princess isn’t so icy anymore” said sungwoon jokingly but surprised
then minhyun’s girlfriend whacked him over the head
“sheesh woman did you not know violence isn’t the answer to everything” complained sungwoon as he rubbed his head
#harrypotterreference #imsocool #totallyhaventreadeachbook20times
minhyun’s girlfriend glared at him and expaseratedly said “sungwoon please don’t be an immature asshole you’re the second oldest and guanlin’s more mature than you!”
“YEAH NUNA YOU TELL HIM!” guanlin cheered then sungwoon shot him a withering glare
“nope no nothing i do not exist i never said anything” he muttered slowly sliding down off his chair
everyone was laughing
“minhyun please say something she’s your girlfriend” sungwoon pleaded
minhyun had his hands up while shaking his head “nope never i support my girlfriend fully, 100%”
“that’s my man” minhyun’s girlfriend said giving him a peck on the lips
they looked so in love
and you blushed thinking maybe that’s the way you and jisung look
definitely
then you heard jinyoung’s voice “hey mum dad keep the pda to a minimum  okay we ARE EATING”
“when you have a girlfriend we are going to constantly bother about you doing pda” woojin butted in
“that will not happen, end of conversation” daehwi jokingly not added while putting his arm around jinyoung
“oh by the way y/n all us girls are going christmas shopping this weekend what do you say?” said daniel’s girlfriend with a welcoming smile
the atmosphere became suddenly a little tenser since they knew you always have declined these kind of offers
but you knew jisung personality has rubbed off on you in the last few weeks
no not sexually get your head out of the gutters
instead of declining you said “that sounds great!” with a smile
everyone visibly relaxed a bit and jisung squeezed you just a little tighter
“wait wait no one’s actually asked but are you two officially together?” daniel asked you two
“yeah we are” you say smiling snuggling even closer into jisung
“damn whoever made the name ice princess really didn’t know you” jaehwan stupidly added not thinking about what happened to sungwoon literally 2 minutes ago
then it was time for daniel’s girlfriend to whack jaehwan over the head
“did your brain cells die when you came into my room blasting punk rock music at 4am in the morning as a joke last week?” she said still a bit miffed over it
“no my brain cells are very much working thank you very much. BY THE WAY it was daniel and seongwoo’s idea!!” jaehwan complained and pouted
daniel’s girlfriend just rolled her eyes while said “which is why minhyun and woojin are better boyfriends, jisung too”
“HEY!!” daniel complained
“at least daniel’s the best kisser” seongwoo said cheekily
“what you talking from experience seongwoo” jihoon said smirking
“i- didn- fuck off jihoon” seongwoo stuttered out then ended jokingly
“yeah yeah you love meeee” jihoon said teasingly with some aegyo at the end
“welcome to the crazy ass family” jisung whispered
but everyone ended up hearing it
which of course means everyone heard your answer which was met with wide beaming smiles
“it’s amazing”
ahh this was my first jisung fic! i hope i wrote him well please tell me if i did. i’m sorry this was so late =this was the first scenario i had such a severe case of writer’s block. i procrastinated so much it’s not even funny. i might not have time for seongwoo’s heirs before daniel’s birthday. so i’m planning to write the daniel angst soulmate scenario first and if that gets done quickly i’ll do the seongwoo’s heirs asap. as always please tell me what you thought and give me feedback!

Christmas Shopping with! Yoon Jisung
Tumblr media
another installment of the chirstmas collab with @alliwannado-w1 and @jihoonslattee ft. toy store worker! yoon jisung!!
jisung works at a toy store in a mall on the second floor
and he loves it
he loves seeing children’s faces glowing in happiness after entering the store
he loves helping children find the perfect toy
jiSUNG’S JUST FULL OF LOVE FOR WHAT HE DOES
when children start throwing tantrums, jisung’s the first person to rush over
the child stops crying after 5 seconds because thE FACES JISUNG MAKES TO CHEER THEM UP ARE LEDGENDARY
co-worker! sungwoon swears that jisung would marry his job if he could
everyone who’s ever visited this specific mall knows of yoon jisung
i mean, he’s the resident sunshine who glows so brightly whenever he smiles that everyone in the mall stops to wear sunglasses
he’s also the reason why every kid ever wants to go to that one toy shop lol
the boss wanted to make jisung the mascot at one point but jisung was like,
“oh no!! i’m probably going to scare people away from the shop haha!”
and that’s how sungwoon was forced into being the mascot because he was “smol and fluffy”
jisung never lets sungwoon live because of it
“oh look!!! sungwoon’s on our poster again!!11!111″
“...TEAR IT DOWN”
chirstmas is jisung’s favorite holiday
part of it was because of the snow and quality family time
but mostly it was because mORE SMILEY KIDS WOULD WALK INTO THE SHOP
CHEEKS RED WITH COLD
AND EYES GLEAMING WITH EXCITEMENT
the shop has this thing where the staff can wrap your presents for you
and everyone h a t e s being put on gift wrapping duty
because its??? so??? boring???
they’d much rather do something else
aka find a corner where the boss can’t see you and go on your phone smh
so when the boss calls a meeting and announces that the gift wrapping duty is back!!!
all he gets are groans in response
except from jisung though
he puts his arm straight up and with sparkling eyes, he says
“I VOLUNTEER”
“uh ok i guess jisung’s on gift duty for the fourth year in a row”
but daniel and jaehwan are also selected for different shifts
jisung nearly has a heart attack when he hears that jaehwan’s also on gift duty
beCAUSE THAT BOY CAN’T WRAP GIFTS FOR SHIT
so jisung spends his lunch break teaching jaehwan how to wrap a gift properly and prettily :’)
jaehwan tries to learn because he doesn’t want to deal with screaming kids if he wraps their gift shittily
it doesn’t turn out as perfect as jisung’s but it’ll have to do :’’’)
jisung’s also the only person who happily wears the santa hat uniform addition
jiSUNG’S WILL HAPPILY DO ANYTHING FOR THIS SHOP
HE LOVES THE SHOP WITH HIS WHOLE HEART SIDVBIS
even if the pay isn’t as high as other jobs, jisung’s content :’)
he’s such an angel i love him
you worked at a local kindergarten!
you’ve only been working for a couple of months but the kids there absolutely adore you!!
you’d step in the classroom and everyone would rush over to hug you
the kindergarten once had a popularity vote among the teachers and you ranked first even though you were new :””)
everyone wanted to be in your class
and the other teachers are lowkey offended
it was a tradition every year to bring the kids on a trip to the mall for them to write small wish lists to send to santa :’’’’’)
the kids were thrilled obviously
“sCHOOL TRIP TIME WHEEEEEEEE”
it took a while for them to calm down
but they eventually did
you’ve never been to the mall in this area,,, so you’re kinda scared that you’re gonna get lost or lose one of the kids etc
you tried getting out of it
“hey uh cough cough minhyun? cough”
“yeah?”
“sneeze i think i’m down with a cold”
“oh no!!!111!!1!1 would you like to take a few days off???”
“yes-”
“is what you think i’d say right? too bad we’re already low on staff as it is we don’t need another ‘sick’ one”
THERE GOES THAT PLAN OUT THE WINDOW
you knew that there was no point in arguing anymore :’)
on the day you were a nervous wreck
you had planned to go around the mall yesterday but that didn’t happen
thanks to your close friend suddenly dropping by
yoU WERE SWEATING AND YOUR EYES WERE DARTING EVERYWHERE
EVEN THE KIDS THOUGHT SOMETHING WAS OFF
“miss y/n? are you okay?”
“o-OH YEAH I’M FINE TOMMY”
WIPES SWEAT
after herding the kids into the bus, you tried to make a run for it
but minhyun catches you with his signature “where do you think you’re going” smile on his face
then proceeds to fling you onto the bus
upon reaching the mall, the kids immediately screamed to go visit the toy store
having no choice but to do so, you bring your little group of kids towards the toy shop on the second floor
while looking at the map you have on your phone lmao
you let out a sigh in relief when you reach the store without anything happening
you tell the kids not to wander off by their own and stick close together
entering the shop, you catch a certain worker’s eye 👀👀
i mean you would catch my eye as well
it’s not everyday someone walks into a shop with 10 kids around them
but of course the shop expected your kindergarten to visit this time of year
and that particular worker slides up to your party while in the lego section
“hi! i’m jisung! is there anything you’re looking for?”
you were about to respond but the kids responded before you could
“wHERE ARE THE BARBIES???”
“BRING ME A STUFFED BEAR PLEASE”
p a ni c s
“i’m so sorry- n O EMILY STOP CLINGING ON THE WORKER’S LEG”
jisung lets out a hearty laugh,
“don’t worry! i’m used to it”
anD BOY WAS HIS LAUGH ATTRACTIVE
is it getting hot in here or is it just jisung? 👀👀
jisung squats down to the little girl’s height and talks to her in the s o f t e s t tone
and you think that’s he’s possibly the cutest man you’ve ever m e t
“miss y/n!!!! stop staring at him!!”
buoVOUVODUV???????
jisung’s draws his attention from the little girl to look at you
yOU GLOW BRIGHT RED
“I WASN’T- UH- I WAS LOOKING AT THAT STUFFED RABBIT BEHIND YOU YEAH”
AND JISUNG CHUCKLES AT YOUR OBVIOUSLY FLUSTERED FACE
deciding not to make you glow any more red, he says,
“hey, i’ll help you deal with the kids today yeah?”
“OHMYGOSH THANK YOU SO MUCH”
BECAUSE
FINALLY
SOMEONE WHO KNOWS THE MALL WELL
“i’ll go tell my boss!”
he doesn’t
he tells sungwoon to cover for him
“heY YOU TOLD ME TO POSTPONE MY DATE TO WORK HOW COME YOU GET TO-”
covERS SUNGWOON’S MOUTH
“it’s not a da t e”
sungwoon rolls his eyes
“sure ok”
and so jisung joins your party!!
y’all look like a cute family with 10 kids :’)
throughout the day, jisung’s interaction with the kids and his funny personality made you feel like melting
was it possible for a man to be this adorable??
you didn’t know but,,
jisung was also melting for you too :’)))
so when minhyun calls you and says that it’s time to leave
jisung doesn’t want to let you go
neither did you tbh
so as you herd the kids into the bus once again, jisung pulls you back for a moment
“hey,,,, uh,,,, have you done your christmas shopping yet?”
“not yet!! i’m planning to do so this sunday”
“oh!! great!! um,,, i was wondering if you wanted to do it together? sunday’s my day off too,,,”
hE WAS AVOIDING EYE CONTACT AS HE ASKED YOU AND YOU WERE SQUEALING INSIDE
“yES! I MEAN-- sure!”
and then jisung looks at you with the whole galaxy in his eyes
his cheeks were flushed but you had no idea whether it was because of the weather or because he was flustered
“REALLY???”
you reply with a smile and a nod of your head
he then digs through his pockets for a pen
and asks you to write your number on his hand
the pen was in the shape of a giraffe
minhyun screams for you as soon as you finished writing the last digit
“i’ll text you!!”
jisung yells as you run towards the bus, waving at him with a huge smile
he does
and you two don’t stop texting until sunday
“y/n! over here!!”
you rush over to the waiting jisung
“i’m sorry did you have to wait for a long time?”
he smiles and claims that he just got here
and you two head into the mall
as soon as you two step in, you guys were surrounded by couples who were also christmas shopping
and it felt awkward for the first time since you’ve known jisung
clEARS THROAT
“so,,, y/n, where do you want to go first?”
you randomly point at a stationary store
and you two exit a few minutes later
with a bunch of bags in hand
“i knEW WE SHOULDN’T HAVE GONE INTO THAT STORE”
hOLD IN YOUR TEARS Y/N, YOUR WALLET WILL BE O K
jisung laughs
“THIS ISN’T SOMETHING TO LAUGH OVER”
“sorRY”
HUFFS
and you two continue your raid of the mall
exiting a new shop with more bags each time :”)
at one point y’all entered a furniture shop and accidentally walked into the beds section
the worker there mistakes you for a couple and smirks at you two 👀👀
yOU TWO SUDDENLY REALIZE WHAT THE SMIRK MEANT
AND HURRIED OUT OF THE STORE
y’all also entered the toy store jisung works at
and jisung’s co-workers are all staring at you two
especially sungwoon and jaehwan who followed you two around the shop talking loudly about how jisung was boyfriend material
“DID YOU KNOW JISUNG IS GREAT AT COOKING RAMEN???”
“OH REALLY???”
“YEAH WHOEVER MARRIES HIM WOULD BE LUCKY”
JISUNG WAS SWEATIN G
WHY ARE HIS FRIENDS SO EMBARRASSING
“y/N LETS LEAVE THE SHOP”
“what- i haven’t finished-”
PUSHES YOU OUT
but doesn’t forget to buy you a gift from the shop
after wandering around the mall more, you two end up in front of the giant christmas tree
the lights casted shadows around
and you turn to face jisung, finding him looking up at the tree with those stars in his eyes
then he turns to face you with that huge smile of his
and bOY HIS FACE ILLUMINATED BY THE LIGHT WHILE HE SMILES HNNNNG
then he suddenly pulls out a rabbit soft toy
“merry christmas y/n! here’s your present!!”
this was the same rabbit you had claimed to be staring at while you were actually staring at jisung
“you were staring at this the other day right?”
yOU BURST INTO LAUGHTER
jisung thought you were laughing at his gift :(
“IM NOT LAUGHING AT THE GIFT, I’M JUST LAUGHING BECAUSE,,”
“because??”
“I WASN’T ACTUALLY STARING AT THE RABBIT, I WAS STARING AT YOU,,,,, THANK YOU ANYWAYS THOUGH”
and yOU SNATCH THE RABBIT FROM HIS HANDS
TO HIDE YOUR REDDENING FACE
jisung’s face lights up at this

Fool: Yoon Jisung
Yoon Jisung x OC
400-500 word music drabble challenge #13
word count: 495
song: Fool For You - Zayn
a/n: for @kyungsooglares!!! idek what i did oops ;-;
-
I know, I know given a chance I'd do it again 'Cause I can't help myself 'Cause I can't stop myself I just love being a fool for you
-
You glared at him while seated still from across, his eyes shifting from you to the side. His anger started to grow bit by bit and it infuriated you; knowing his antics always caught you even though you were always in the right in arguments, or so you believed.
“Don’t test me.” you spoke firmly, not taking your eyes off him
“You’re the one who started this.” he responded back, eyes moving to you
“Then I’ll end it, Jisung. Right now.” you stood up from your seat and walked away into the bedroom, slamming the door shut
As a result from your leave, he stood and kicked the chair next to him out of pure rage. You heard him from the bedroom, not even moving from the bed since you decided to lay down to get your mind at ease. But no, his rage was too high for you to handle and it seemed like you were through with this. You got off the bed and immediately opened the door to see Jisung stand and stare at the wall, not moving as you walked out and closed the door.
“You think these kinds of actions you do make me think differently otherwise?” you clicked your tongue once, crossing your arms
He turned his head slowly and looked at you, eyes mixed with anger and want. You gulped, trying to not move from your stance and keeping rigid with your words. He marched his was to you and you took a few steps back, leaving an inch of a space from the bedroom door behind you. He stood right in front of you, making you hear his breathing as the heat between you two rose.
“Don’t look at me like that.” he grumbled
“Don’t ever test me.” you retorted back
But as soon as you tried to move away, he stopped you with his arm as he slammed it on the wall behind you. You were startled by his sudden movement, leaning on the wall as you looked at him frantically. He moved closer to you, your faces only an inch away from each other. You closed your eyes out of fear, making him suddenly feel frail from your shivers because of his own actions. He felt repentant and couldn’t help but grow weary from seeing your hands bawl into fists
“Don’t do this.” you said faintly, but he grabbed you by the waist in a second and locked his lips to yours; knowing he was too weak to be angry with you
It was sudden for him to get all angry for the smallest thing, knowing your relationship was already toxic from the beginning. But he also knew he couldn’t get enough of you and thought you were irresistible to him. You pushed him lightly from the kiss, his eyes still in contact with yours as he breathed heavily
“You’re mine. And mine only.”

Cuddling Wanna One
i wrote this a few weeks ago and forgot to post it lmao
edit: ACCORDING TO @woojiniee JIHOON’S PART IS “NOTICEABLY” LONGER I PROMISE THAT WASN’T ON PURPOSE
Yoon Jisung
he'd probably enjoy spooning
he likes have you close to him
likes stroking your hair
loves to make you laugh
he'd get upset whenever you needed to stand up
he'd either do his ugliest pout
or he'd throw his leg over your waist
"but jisung- i need to use the bathroom,"
"you can hold it," he'd say before tickling you
Ha Sungwoon
#1 koala bear
he always wants to be touching you in some way
whether it's holding your hand
or literally caging you in his frame
he just loves being around you
he'd love if you let him lay in your lap
if you played with his hair he'd literally melt
he might fall asleep on you tbh
he'd also enjoy spooning
i don't think he'd care if he was the big spoon or the little spoon
sometimes he loves have your arms wrapped around him and it makes him so happy
but if you're going to sleep he's most likely going to want to hold you close so he can sleep easier
Hwang Minhyun
he's a little awkward with cuddling tbh
he doesn't really strike me as the cuddling type
but if you beg him enough he'll cave in every once in a while
he'd let you rest your head on his arm and let your arm drape over his chest
if you're lucky he might hum or sing you a little tune to help you sleep easier
he might be a bit uncomfortable if you get really touchy with him
but he loves you, and he'll do it for you
Ong Seongwoo
almost all your cuddling sessions turn into tickle fights or wrestling
which Ong usually wins at both
he loves hearing you laugh so expect to hear him crack a lot of jokes
likes to nuzzle his head into your hair and take in your scent
he likes to have you as close to him possible
gets upset if you reject cuddling with him but he won't let you know that
if you're lucky and experience a tired and clingy Ong, you might even get him to blush
wouldn't that be precious
Kim Jaehwan
another who i don't think would be that into cuddling
but he would let you rest your head on his chest while his arm is draped over you
sings a lot
cuddle at your own risk
there's not a very good chance you'll get to sleep like that
likes running his hands through your hair when you are asleep
he'll leave a rare kiss on your temple before drifting off to sleep himself
Kang Daniel
he'd love any cuddling position tbh
he loves to hold you but also like to see your small arms wrap around your torso
would be offended if you didn't rest your head on his shoulders at least once
giggles a lot
ft. bunny teeth
deep morning voice
and possible busan accent if he's sleepy enough
he'd probably cuddle with you shirtless a lot and would be confused when you get flustered
Park Jihoon
lets you rest your head on his shoulders when you're sitting, and his arm will wrap around your waist
if you ever want to see jihoon's composure ever break in a solid 0.5 seconds cuddle with him when the members are around and place a kiss on his neck
he shivers and turns red so fast and stays that way for a while
and the members will just stare at him with smirks on their faces once they see the playful look in your eyes
loves to have movie nights and cuddle with you
will pull your head to his chest
strokes your hair
gets really shy and embarrassed about it but he will sing to you if you ask him too
won't sleep until he's seen that you're resting well
when you wake up he will wink and tell you he slept better with you in his arms and then gets red and does his awkward ass laugh
Park Woojin
would like to hold you facing him
so he can look at your face
but eye contact would make him nervous sometimes so he'd have to look away
rubs your back
smiles at you a lot
if you fall asleep
this boy is just so amazed by your beauty
and is probably just going to look at you clinging to him for a little bit before falling asleep himself
also can be a bit playful
and likes to do little wrestling matches with you
which most of them end up with shy and sweet little kisses
Bae Jinyoung
loves to hold your hand
likes to lay his head in your lap
stares at you instead of paying attention to the movie
if he gets caught he just smiles and bites his lip
blush dusting his cheeks
wouldn't mind having you lean down a couple times to connect your lips
if you're laying down
he likes the same position as woojin
will most likely fall asleep first
sleeps better with you in his arms
Lee Daehwi
likes to have you sitting in between his legs with your back against his chest
loves to play with your hair and take in the scent of your shampoo
likes to peck your neck and your cheeks a lot
sometimes will wrap his arms around your stomach and pull you closer to him
doesn't really care if anyone catches the two of you cuddling
if you're laying down he likes to rest his head on your stomach or thighs and let you play with his hair
talks about nonsense most of the time
but he's cute so it's okay
Lai Guanlin
likes to loosely drape his arm over you
ruffles your hair a lot
the big spoon
smiles a lot
tells you little stories
will probably tire himself out and put himself to sleep
when he gets tired enough he starts mixing chinese and english in and out of his sentences
makes sure to tell you he loves you before he sleeps

flat white.
character: yoon jisung.
genre: fluff, café!au.
word count: 1408w.
summary: yoon jisung isn’t quite ready to be teased by his ten children about his relationship. (part 1/11 of the café series).
a/n: this has been sitting in my drafts for a good one and a half months, and surprisingly, this isn’t the piece that’s been rotting in my drafts the longest.
“i just don’t understand why i can’t even go into my boyfriend’s café that he owns and say hi to him,” she says with a pout as he runs his fingers through the end of her hair at the end of the day.
it’s become routine to unwind at the end of the day– her with a novel and him with a manga. she often questions the lack of intellectual content in his reading choices, but she leaves his choices be nonetheless, because he runs his fingers through her hair as he reads and that’s enough to quell any of her concerns.
except for the concern that she and jisung have been dating for six months and he still hasn’t allowed her to visit him in his own café.
it’s not really a big deal– she just wants to get to know the boys beyond jisung’s stories.
jisung smacks his tongue against his teeth and lets out a sigh past pouted lips, setting down his book by his bedside table and opting to prop his chin on her shoulder.
“i promise you, that you don’t want to walk into that mess,” jisung says, but in reality, he just doesn’t want his kids– excuse, employees– to tease him (just like he’s teased them countless times before over their crushes).
she looks at him pointedly, indicating that yes, because she thinks he’s over-exaggerating and even if he wasn’t, yes, she’s still willing to walk into that mess.
he chuckles, moving a hand down to intertwine with hers. his thumb rubs small circles into the junction between her thumb and pointer finger to distract her. “here, how about this? we can café hop tomorrow and at the end of the day, i’ll take you to my café and we can talk over your favorite cup of coffee.”
when she takes two seconds contemplate, she sighs, because she knows he’s already won again.
they leave that afternoon at promptly two, after jisung visits the café to make sure things are running smoothly.
of course, he can’t leave until things are running smoothly and they almost never are when the kids aren’t under his supervision, so he has to take the time to help dust off seongwoo who had ground coffee bean dumped on him by guanlin. after that, he has to soften the red tint of mixed embarrassment, fluster, and anger on guanlin’s cheeks, telling seongwoo to leave guanlin and his crush on the university noona alone. he leaves them for minhyun to chastise, and then he leaves them on account of a family emergency.
as minhyun chastises guanlin and seongwoo, sungwoon discreetly pulls out his phone to text the boys on their off days.
jisung swears he’s going crazy by the third café. at the first café, he swears he see someone with hair the exact same shade of red as woojin’s, but that’s impossible, because who has red hair in korea other than woojin?
at the second café, he swears he sees daniel and his pink head of hair walk into the shoe store across the café they go to.
by the third café, jisung’s having nightmares that the table they’re sitting at will begin to shake, and then, one by one, all ten kids that he takes care of and pays will slowly crawl out from underneath and pop into their date one by one.
“are you okay?” a melodic voice snaps jisung out of the horrendous scenario his imagination has just induced, and he offers her an assuring smile.
“of course i am! why wouldn’t i be?” he takes an extremely large bite of his muffin as she stares at him peculiarly, not buying his words at all but letting him slide because she knows he’ll cave into whatever is on his mind soon. he never lasts, so she just smiles as he offers her a bite of his muffin.
“do you want to just walk around after this? i’m getting full,” she says, and suddenly jisung remembers that she doesn’t have as bottomless of a stomach as the boys at the café do. those boys? they will gladly fight over the leftovers at the café at the end of the day as if they didn’t sneak croissants and coffee cake into the break room whenever the shop was busy.
jisung smiles, and says okay, ignoring the nagging feeling in his gut that something is definitely off.
after walking the streets of hongdae, spoiling his girlfriend plenty, and eating street dukkbokki for dinner, jisung leads her towards the final destination of their date night: zero degrees café.
as the name states, the café provides a minimalistic ambience centered around the colors white and blue– various shades of it. yet, despite that, the café radiated a sense of comfort and serenity to those who entered it.
he sits her down at the bar that he recently had installed, giving customers an all-access view of the handsome boys that worked at the café. in her case, her handsome boyfriend who owned the café. she props her chin atop the palm of her hand, watching as jisung made two cups of flat white coffee, peering on curiously as he’d gently tilt the cup in all directions while pouring the microfoam.
when the door bell chimes signaling an entrance, jisung barely looks up when he politely says, “we’re closed, sorry!”
however, the only response he gets is, “so hyung! this is the girlfriend you’ve been hiding from us for six months!” she turns just in time to notice that it’s the shortest one that proclaims so.
a boy with actor like visuals that has her jaw nearly drop high-fives the pink-haired boy, with a smirk on his lips. “i told you that he lied about why he had to leave early.”
“yeah, jisung hyung! you left me all day to be ridiculed by seongwoo hyung about– about–” the tallest boy suddenly stops mid-sentence and looks off to his side, right cheek burying into his left shoulder.
“i can’t believe you’ve been teasing all of us about our existent or non-existent love lives only to hide yours from us,” a boy with a small face and sharp features remarks, lips twisted in disamusement.
jisung lets out a long sigh as he walks around the table to serve her her coffee, which is decorated with a graceful swan. she can see the slightly smudged tip of the tail that jisung must’ve been working on when he heard the voice of his employees, and she chuckles as she snaps a picture.
“i knew my horrible feeling was right when i saw daniel’s pink head walk into the shoe store across dugeun café,” he sits down beside her with a slight pout on his face, before headdesking onto her shoulder in grievance.
“wahhh, hyung, noona is pretty!” a cheerful boy bounds up to take a seat beside her, smiling brightly as he holds out his hand. “i’m lee daehwi!”
his bright smile is contagious as she finds one making its way on her own lips, and she shakes his hand whilst introducing herself. his shake is enthusiastic, and his smile never fades from his face.
“nice to meet you! the one with pink hair is daniel hyung, red hair is woojin hyung, tall one is guanlin, short one is sungwoon–”
“hey!”
“we can introduce ourselves, daehwi,” another boy with the eyes of a fox chuckles, before introducing himself. “i’m minhyun.”
“and i’m jisung, i’m on a date with my girlfriend, can you all please leave now?” jisung mumbles from the comforts of her shoulder, finally rising and looking at the boys with a joking motherly disapproval.
“no way!” woojin says, going to sit next to jisung and taking a sip of his coffee. “this isn’t your usual order, hyung–”
“let them stay, jisung! they’re cute,” she laughs as the rest of the boys surround the car on both sides. “and i can’t believe they had to stalk us on our date to find out about my existence,” she continues, flicking his head.
jisung lets out a small whine, swiping his coffee back from woojin and sulking as his girlfriend engages in conversation with the rest of his employees. yet, as he drinks his warm coffee, there’s another warmth at the pit of his stomach, coming from the way his girlfriend had easily assimilated herself into the group of employees that he had found a family in.

Yoon Jisung || Bestfriends to Lover
Tumblr media
Warning:small mentions of alcohol…. slight angst
•Alright so this friendship is just the most precious thing ever
•Both of ya’ll met each other when you were little because your parents were friends
•You were really shy and hid behind your mother's legs and Jisung kinda felt bad for you and tried to get you to open up ( yeoreojweo yeoreojweo yeoreo- Daniel get out of here)
•He shot you a gentle smile and introduced himself first
•”Hi I’m Yoon Jisung, I’m five.”
•His friendly demeanor had made you feel a lot less shy and peeked out a little further from your mom’s leg
•”I’m (y/n) and I’m fouw”
•A smile made it’s way to your face as he held out his hand for you and you instantly shook his, forgetting about your previous shyness
•From then on an adorable friendship would blossom
•Everytime Jisung’s parents would come over you and him would play in the backyard or in your room if it was too cold
•Jisungs was easily your closest and bestest friend
•Like honestly you told all your secrets to Jisung and he told you all of his
•In middle school neither of you split and stayed best friends even if your friends would tease you
•both of you were basically inseparable and there was no room for anyone else
•but somewhere around high school you had been hurt really bad by one of your ex bestfriends and started to become closed off from people
•You began to over evaluate everything, whether it be yours or other's actions but still would be rash with your actions
•Jisung noticed how quiet you had gotten and reckless your actions would be sometimes
•But What Jisung noticed and hurt him the most was how you started to drift away from him
•You would try to fit in with the popular kids, looking down at the less popular ones
•Throw shade and dump friends like nothing
•You became so bad you even had a rep around the school
•Jisung was honestly wary about bringing up the topic when you guys would hang out because he knew why you had a sudden change in attitude
•But one day he had about enough and confronted you when he saw you drinking a can of beer
•he knocked the can out of your hand before you could take another sip and gripped your shoulders tightly
•”What the hell (y/n)! This isn’t like you! I dealt with the fact you pushed me away, that you started to act differently but I can’t let you do this! What happen with Jiah and Hyunwoo is in the past please stop acting like this! Please if you need someone to talk to than talk to me.”
•He expected you to snap back to your sense but flinched when you retaliated
•”You know what Jisung your not my dad get out of my life if you gonna tell me how to live it!”
•After that neither of you talked to each other
•If you were being honest felt guilt for lashing out on Jisung. Deep down you were hurting and didn’t mean to lash out on him
•you wanted to apologize but couldnt get yourself to do it
•but you're so lucky Jisung cares and loves for you so much
•soooo he asked you to meet with him after school
•You obliged because you wanted to apologize
•when he saw you though he pulled you into a tight ass hug as if he was afraid to lose you
•”(y/n) I’m sorry I hit a sensitive topic that one day. But I care for you. We’ve been bestfriends since we were little and I didn’t wanna see you go down the messy road. I know you’ve been hurt but please just talk to me.”
•and like that you turned into a crying mess, you felt guilt for pushing the only true friend you had away, for lashing out on him and because you were relieved
•he held you a little tighter and let you cry to your hearts content
•Afterwards you only hung out with Jisung and it was like you both were kids again
•Y’all graduated together and bought an apartment together
•As both of you spent literally every passing moment and day together you had gathered feelings for Jisung
•after all he was the one there of you when no one else would be, he’d support you in all your interesting, he was your security blanket when things got tough
•he had a smile that made your bones ache, a laugh that would make you warm and hugs that would make you feel loved
•honestly honey you felt deep for Yoon Jisung
•But he'd be the first to admit he had the same feelings for you
•he especially love the sleepless nights with both of you on the couch a warm cup of hot chocolate in your hands, covered in blankets as both of you watched a movie or talked
•he couldn’t help but smile when your hand would brush against his before you’d quickly pull away
•So when both of you were just together once again Jisung decided to just be blunt with it because he was nervous asf
•”(y/n) if I was honestly speaking about the future...I’d really love to be able to call you mine at least for once.”
•You were so shocked and nervous you couldn’t even make a sentence
•and Jisung took your quietness as rejections
•”I-I sorry that was really blunt and awkward I’m s-“
•”Don’t be.” You’d smile slightly and kiss him preventing him from saying any more
•when both of you pull away both of you will be giggling shy messes before Jisung pulls you close to him
•”I love you my little rice grain.”

Yoon Jisung - Confidant
Requested By: @prettywordsyouleft (“ HELLOOOO! <3 I have waited for this day, heh. I would LOVE to request something fluffy with Jisung. I don't mind if it has some angst in it, but I want a happy ending BECAUSE YOON LEADER DESERVES ALL THE HAPPINESS IN THE ENTIRE WORLD. ”)
Genre: Angst/Fluff (tbh it’s just a lot of drama cuz I’m dramatic af)
Note: So I know that Chelle had asked for fluff and this isn’t exactly fluff, but it was a story that I really wanted to tell for Jisung ;___; This story takes place in the same Mafia!au world as my Jihoon ‘Runaway’ fic so if you would like a bit more background on some of the parts that mention Jihoon, I would suggest checking that out! I’ll link it in the reblog. This world is actually one that I’ve been thinking of building out, so I may end up writing more mafia!au ones that take place in the same universe? Not sure yet. It’s a bit of a dramatic piece, but I hope that everyone enjoys it! As always, please feel free to let me know what you think.
More drabbles next week so please stay tuned!
Enjoy~
Also, because of the situation with tumblr links, please check my bio for links to my masterlist~

“Sir, we’re here,” the deep voice said from behind the steering wheel. His look was ominous, one that you would not want to cross your path. Normally Jisung would drive himself to the places he needed to go, but with the rising threats to Jihoon’s family and their syndicate as a whole, everyone was now traveling with details, even his own right-hand man. Still, Jisung couldn’t let a threat stop him from his daily schedule. So here he was, a bit after nine in the morning, at a small coffee shop. It was almost like clockwork. He was a little late, now that he wasn’t driving himself. It was a bit out of the way given where the syndicate was located, but Jisung was willing to go a little out of his way for a good cup of coffee, and more.
“Would you like anything?” Jisung inquired, but the man driving the car formally told him that it wasn’t necessary. With a small nod, the male exited the car and headed into the rather vacant coffee shop. Jisung particularly liked going at this hour as the morning rush was over, yet it was still before the lunch rush. The coffee shop was calm at this time, and that allowed him to be leisurely.
“Wel –” the barista behind the counter started, but as soon as she recognized him, a giant smile grew on her features. “Oh! Jisung! It’s good to see you this morning!”
Jisung returned your smile with a kind one of his own as he approached the counter. “I’m a little later than usual. Sorry about that,” he apologized, but all you did was shake your head.
“No, it’s really alright! So I guess someone else took you today?” you inquired as you started on his usual order.
Jisung couldn’t help but chuckle. “Oh, so you know what car I drive?” he retorted, watching as you seemed to freeze up, which only made him laugh even harder. “Don’t worry. I figured you would. The parking lot is pretty visible. A… friend drove me today,” he explained nonchalantly.
You nodded in understanding, still a bit embarrassed that you said too much. You couldn’t help it. You enjoyed his company and always anticipated his next visit. To say that you had a small crush was… an understatement. “Did your friend want anything?”
Jisung’s eyes locked with yours over the espresso machine. “No, he said he was fine. But enough about my friend. How have things been for you? Is business better now? What about the new apartment?”
A smile spread on your features and you were inwardly glad that the topic had shifted. “Now that the holidays are over, things have definitely picked up. And the new apartment is nice, but still a bit empty. It’s going to need some work,” you explained sheepishly. “And things with you?” you asked as you finished up his drink, placing a lid and a sleeve on it.
“The same as always,” he replied vaguely, but with a smile that often made you forget that he never truly answered any of your questions when it came to his profession. “Thank you for the coffee. I hope you have a wonderful day and I’ll see you tomorrow,” he said and you nodded, watching him walk out moments after he arrived. These meetings always felt so short.
Visiting you at the coffee shop had been part of Jisung’s routine for about four months now. He had come in at first, saying that he was new to the area and that this coffee shop was nearby. He then started to arrive more often, and in no time, he was here every morning. What started off as a favor… honestly became his favorite part of the day.
Jisung had known your mother. She worked as an intelligence analyst for the Park family, and Jisung had often interfaced with her when he was putting together his reports or even just checking on possible threats that could have been coming for Jihoon. On a couple of occasions, she had mentioned that she had a daughter and about how hard it had been to raise you without you finding out what she did. She admitted that she was proud of you though, of how independent you had become and she couldn’t have asked for anything more.
However, your mother was gravely ill, and on her deathbed, possibly from having confided in Jisung so much over the years, she asked him to take care of you. She feared that your father, a lowly broker, would try to bring you into his life, and that had been something she had tried to prevent for years. So, Jisung promised her that he would check on you.
But over time, he grew fond of you. He enjoyed your company, hearing about your day and the things that happened throughout it. He was happy that, from time to time, like with your recent move, that he could help you out, be someone that you can talk to. A friendship bloomed from this promise, though he knew it was more than that. It wasn’t a feeling he felt like he had a right to act on, however, so for the time being, it would stay a friendship…
========
Your days always started off quite well. Seeing Jisung every morning, even on days when you were having a hard time, always made the day better. However, your pleasant day all came crashing down that evening. As you were closing up, a figure slipped into the coffee shop, and just as you were about to make a mad dash for the back room, it called out to you, the voice familiar. It was one you hadn’t heard in many years and one that you hoped you would never hear again.
It was your father.
Honestly, you didn’t know much about your father growing up. You had a feeling that your mother had always been a bit tight-lipped when it came to him. That being said, that did not mean that you wanted him here, either. He hadn’t been there for you while you were growing up, and from what your mother had said, he also wasn’t a great person either. You still remembered the time he forgot to pick you up from grade school. All of the other kids had already left… and you were just… there, waiting. So you didn’t have very fond memories of him, to say the least.
“Oh, my beautiful girl, you’ve grown up so much,” he said pleasantly, reaching in for a hug, but you stopped him.
“Why are you here?” you asked as sternly as you could.
Your father stopped mid-motion and moved to stand up straight again. Yeah, he supposed he couldn’t just come in here like a father again. “Sweetie, I’m here to tell you that you’re in danger. Someone has been keeping a close eye on your for months now and you didn’t even know.”
You gave him a quizzical look. Someone had been watching you? Your father must have been mistaken. You worked at a coffee shop. Your life was boring and mundane. Why would anyone be watching you? “Look, dad, if you’re just going to make up stories, I don’t have time for that. If you just need money then I can –”
“I don’t need money! I have so much money!” your father exclaimed, watching as you backed away from him. Alright, that wasn’t exactly his best move but he was getting impatient. He needed to get you on his side and he needed to get out of here quick before he was spotted. “Look, sweetie, I’m sure that the lie that your mother told you was that I was a broke good-for-nothing and that was why she left me, but it’s far more complicated than that. I’m not the bad guy. The people that are watching you are.”
He wasn’t… broke? Your mother had told you that your father had a problem, but now that you were seeing him, you supposed that he actually looked rather put together. A little frantic, but he was still dressed nicely. Though you knew you would regret it, you had to ask him. “What… what do you mean…” you said slowly.
With that simple question, your father knew that he had piqued your interest and it was time to tell you the truth… well, his version of the truth. He told you of how your mother and he really met, that the two of you them worked in the seedy underbelly of society. He told you of his broker work and your mother’s work as an analyst. He knew it would be shocking to you, that it would sound like a lie, but he reassured you that this was why you never heard about what your parents did in their everyday life.
The more your father spoke of his work with crime families as well as your mother’s work, a lot of things became clearer. You got vague answers from your mother whenever you asked what she did for a living, and in hindsight, there was no way that your family could afford that home if she were just an office worker. It seemed like life hadn’t been kind to your father as he didn’t have an affiliation of his own, and you felt a bit bad. Yet, as your brain was catching up to what your father was telling you, about how your mother had to keep you away from him because of her ties to a certain crime family, you felt a sinking feeling in your stomach.
He continued on about how this crime family had been threatening him, to keep him away from you all this time. “And that’s why I’m here now sweetie. I’m here to get you out of that family’s grasp and back by my side. I want to protect you myself,” your father urged.
“Look, dad, what you say might be true, but all I do is work in a coffee shop. There’s no way they would –”
“But honey, they would use you! They would use you against me!” your father explained as he grasped both of your hands in his. “Don’t you see, they’ve already started and you haven’t even asked questions yet!”
“What do you mean, ‘they’ve already started’?” you inquired, that feeling in your stomach making you sicker by the minute.
“That man, Jisung! The one that comes here every morning. Did you never think it was strange that he just showed up one day at your store? That man is the right-hand to the Park family’s heir. That was the family your mother was working for and after she passed, they’ve been keeping tabs on you. They’ve been keeping me away because they want to use you against me, to make me work for them!”
At that moment his words made you nauseous. You weren’t sure if you fully believed him, but there was one thing that was for sure. Jisung wasn’t the person he said he was, and your perfect image of him shattered into pieces…
========
Jisung wasn’t sure that he had ever moved so quickly in his life. When he received a text from you that night, almost well after midnight, to meet you at the coffee shop, he felt his heart sink. He had given you his number in case of emergencies but never thought that you would use it. To see that text from you, to be a place that you shouldn’t have been so late at night, he worried. So, without his driver and against every precaution he generally took, he went straight to you.
The coffee shop that was normally dark at this hour was lit, the lights illuminating everything to Jisung before he even got out of his car. Presumably, there was no one else there, and with caution, he entered. He saw you immediately, seated at one of the many tables and as soon as he entered, you stood up. “Hey,” he started slowly, “I got your message. Is everything alright?”
“We need to talk,” you said flatly. After your father left, you didn’t quite have it in you to head home. Your mind was racing with all of this new information and you felt like you had to sort through it all before you could head back. Though nothing really made sense, there were a couple of things that you did know. One, your mother had likely been lying to you for most of your life. Two was that Jisung showing up all of a sudden was a bit suspicious. And upon thinking about how you felt about Jisung now that you knew a bit more about the situation, you knew that you had to get straight to the truth. No more lies. You couldn’t take them anymore.
“What’s wrong? Did something happen?” Jisung asked. This all still felt very strange to him. Though he didn’t feel the presence of another person, this situation didn’t feel right.
“Something did. I saw my father again,” you said, eyes watching as Jisung grew rather stiff at your words. “I didn’t know what he was doing here at first. I honestly never thought I would see him again, but he showed up, spinning this story about the truth of my mother? He told me about how she, apparently, worked for a crime syndicate. He mentioned that with her gone, that her boss would try to use me against him. Does any of this sound familiar?”
A short sigh left his lips as he called your name. Jisung didn’t think that this would happen so soon. He was hoping that he would have more time to get to know you, to build your trust. Yet it seemed like your father had other plans. He was making a power move. For what, Jisung couldn’t be sure. “Look, this entire situation is far more complicated than you could ever believe. Your father, that man, he isn’t who he says he is…”
A scoff left your lips, signaling to Jisung that he likely said the wrong thing. “Oh, and you are? Tell me, Jisung, do you really work for a company like you say you do, or is that company just a coverup for one of the biggest crime families in the country. Yes, my father told me about you, the right-hand of the Park family. I looked you up. There’s no work history for you than at a company that is run by Park Jihoon and his family. You’ve been there since you were eighteen. How does one get a job, a high-level job, at one of the biggest companies in the country with no experience?” you countered, your anger starting to seep out. You were just so fed up with all of it. The more you thought about it, the angrier you got. No one in your life had been truthful to you, and it was painful.
Well, you got him there. “Alright. I wasn’t exactly who I said I was either, but I am trying to keep you safe,” he reasoned. His answer seemed to surprise you. It seemed like you weren’t quite ready for him to be so calm about all of this. It was just how he was raised.
“Keep me safe? Why would you want to keep me safe? Don’t men like you just take what you want? It doesn’t matter how many families you hurt, does it, Jisung?” your anger had definitely boiled to the service and you were waiting for Jisung’s demeanor to change as well. You wanted him to yell back, but he never did. He must have been taught not to.
“Honestly? I planned to keep you safe because your mother asked me to do so. But also, I care about you…” he admitted. He never should have let his feelings for you get to the level that they did. They clouded his judgment and here he was, the cat out of the bag and you were upset. So very upset.
“Oh, and because you say you care about me that it’s somehow safer being with you than my broker father? And how do I know that the moment you get tired of me, the moment I’m no longer useful to you or your family that you just won’t get rid of me too?”
The words, what they implied, it hurt his heart. He would never do that to you. He would never put you in that type of situation. Yet with how angry you were, maybe he was just too slow in realizing that he was the only one that felt the way he did. “I would never harm you,” he said firmly. “I was taking care of you as a promise to your mother, but I did grow extremely fond of you. I felt things for you that someone that does what I do for a living, should never feel for another person. But in trying to hide who I am from you, in trying to keep up a charade, I’ve upset you. So, do you want me gone?”
This conversation wasn’t playing out how you had expected. You thought he would get angry, but he was so level-headed, it almost… it almost felt like you were making a big deal out of nothing. But you were still upset. You just wanted everything to go back to normal. So instead of holding off on your decision, you nodded.
And you regretted it instantly.
As soon as you completed the small gesture, Jisung was on his feet. You wanted to stop him but the words never came out. Instead, you watched as he walked towards the door, only stopping momentarily to look back at you. “I really was only trying to help. You aren’t wrong though. Knowing someone like me is far more dangerous than someone like your father. I apologize for causing you trouble. You won’t have to ever see me again…”
And just like that, before you could say anything else, Jisung left the coffee shop, leaving you alone and stunned. Though you thought this was the outcome that you had wanted, you found yourself even more confused than before.
========
True to his word, you never say Jisung again after that night. He didn’t stop by for his morning coffee. At first, you were relieved. Not having Jisung there meant that your life could go back to normal, that you could just be an average person again. But as time passed, you couldn’t help but realize that you may have made the wrong decision to confront him as you did. It felt strange that, as soon as nine rolled around, he wasn’t there. It was weird not having someone you could tell your troubles to. There was no longer that gentle smile that would greet you every morning, and what at first had been a relief, became a deep pain in your chest. You missed him, and it didn’t take you long to realize that you really did feel the same way about him that he did about you. That crush was no longer just a crush.
Still, you had made your decision, taken a path in your life that he was not a part of. You chose family over companionship, and you really thought you had made the right decision… until it turned out that you hadn’t. One night, upon leaving work, you felt someone walk up behind you and place a rag over your mouth and nose. You had tried to struggle, but to no avail, falling unconscious in a stranger’s arms. Eventually, you regained consciousness, but there was no telling how long you had been out. You couldn’t see anything, the bag that was over your head obscured your vision. You couldn't move, your arms and legs tied. All you could do was listen to the men talking around you, and it only made you realize how much of an idiot you were.
Apparently, your father had defaulted on a sale, the deal never having gone through. These people, obviously pissed, hunted him down and were looking to make him repay everything he had taken. So, scared for his life, your father put yours at risk instead. He had told them about you and your connection to the Park family. This obviously meant more to them than a measly broker so they let him go. You were an idiot for trusting him, and now you were likely going to die because of it. After all, Jisung wasn’t going to come for you. You already burned that bridge.
Though you didn’t know how much time had passed, it honestly felt like hours. You sat there quietly, scared, and just listening to these thugs. Every now and then, one would come close to you and brush his hand against you and that just made you jump. They were having fun scaring you to death, and you could hear it in the way that they laughed afterward. You thought that things would just continue on like this, but a loud noise outside drew yours and your captors’ attention towards the door. There was shouting, lots of it, and gunfire. You didn’t know what was going on, all you heard were the sounds. It was all so loud, and you couldn’t focus on any of it. You were too frightened to.
Almost as soon as the noises had started, they seemed to have stopped. You sensed became heightened at the sudden loss of sound and the moment that someone placed their hand on your arm, you couldn't help but thrash around, at least, as much as you could with your limbs tied. The individual pulled the bag off of your head and you were instantly blinded by the lights in the room. It seemed like you were in some type of warehouse, in a place that you were unfamiliar with. When your name was called you looked at the individual that was kneeling in front of you and you almost couldn’t believe it.
It was Jisung.
A wave of relief promptly washed over you as he untied your hands and legs. You were still quite confused as to what was going on, but you opted to keep your mouth shut. Instead, you let him hold you to his form, his hand keeping your head close to his chest as he led you out. You knew that he was protecting you, to keep you from seeing what had happened around you, but at that moment, you weren’t even thinking about that. All you could think about was that you would never be in this place again…
========
It was a short trip to what you could only assume was one of the many apartments that the Park family owned. No one said anything during the car ride. Jisung had remained quiet, as did his driver and the other young man in the front seat. As soon as the car was parked, Jisung led you into the building, the pair of you going up in the elevator into one of the suites above. The door was quickly unlocked as he guided you instead and towards one of the two bedrooms. He suggested that you clean up, no matter how shaken you were about the events that had just transpired. You agreed, still too numb to really process everything that was going on and you quickly slipped into the shower.
You didn’t know how long you were in there. You honestly just felt like you stood under the running water because you were told to. Still,  your thoughts did start to clear up a bit. Your mind was still running through every that had happened, replying it all. You knew you shouldn’t have. You knew it was bad for you, but it was also helping you move on, piecing everything together like this. When you felt like your mind was clear enough, you stepped out of the shower and changed into the clothes that had been left for you in the room. You didn’t ask questions. These were really the least of your worries at the moment.
Slowly, you exited the room,  your eyes immediately taking a look around the large and luxurious looking apartment. So all of the stories were right. The Park family was indeed that rice. Maybe not by legal means as the media suggested, but they did have money. Your eyes wandered from object to object before they settled on the figure across the room, by the windows. He looked up at you as soon as you exited the bedroom, and what looked like a small smile formed on his lips. You had taken a few steps towards him but stopped just short of him, keeping yourself a good distance away.
“Are you feeling better?” he asked, but made no move to approach you. Jisung knew better than that. He had told himself that he wouldn’t get involved with you anymore. He told himself that you had made your choice, that you didn’t want him in your life. Yet as soon as he had heard news of your abduction, he sprung into action. It didn’t matter to him that he was walking into their trap, he knew he was. What mattered was that you were safe, that you weren’t harmed.
“Honestly, I’m still confused. I really don’t know what happened. I mean, I know why it happened, but it all feels like a blur, like a dream…” A really bad one, you thought inwardly. You took the opportunity to stare at him from across the room and took one tentative step forward. Everything in you wanted to run to him, to be held by someone that you knew, but that wasn’t right. Not right now it wasn’t.
“It’ll get a bit easier to understand things with time. I can’t say that it will all be pleasant, but I know that you’re someone that can work through it,” he told you, watching as you inched closer to him. He took everything in Jisung to not pull you in for a hug himself. “I’m sorry that you had to go through that. You were right when you said that I was more trouble than your father was, and I’m sorry.”
His apology and the mention of your father reminded you as to the reason you were in this situation, to begin with.  Your father… you never should have trusted him. “I made the wrong choice.”
“You made the choice that felt right for you. You chose family. Most people would.”
“But you shouldn’t when you have the family that I do,” you retorted. Your brain had been working through a lot of it, and there was one question that you couldn’t help but ask as you drew closer to him. “Why did you come for me?”
Jisung watched as your steps had taken you right to him. You now stood in front of him, your hair damp, just looking at him with those eyes that made his heartache. This couldn’t happen, not after something as dangerous as this had already transpired. It would only be worse. No wonder Jihoon was so protective. It was painful watching your loved one get hurt because of you. “You know the answer. You don’t have to ask.”
For the first time, you got a good look at Jisung’s face. He looked like he was in pain and the dried blood on the side of his face indicated to you that he was injured, but still wanted to stay by your side. “I’m sorry…” you told him gently as you reached up to touch his face.
“This isn’t your fault. None of it is,” he said gently, but also firmly.
“Jisung, please don’t leave me again,” your voice was barely above a whisper, but you knew he heard you.
“I won’t…” he promised, and as soon as the words left his lips, it was like your body gave out. Your legs collapsed below you and it was only due to Jisung’s reflexes that you didn’t go crashing to the ground. Yet, as weak as you were in the moment, as tired as you were, you were glad to know what Jisung wasn’t going anywhere. You felt safe in his arms. You knew that you could trust him and that you could confide in him, and that was honestly all that mattered…

Special Treatment

“Honey I’m-”
You grimaced as Jisung’s greeting came to a standstill, his eyes widening at your predicament. Glancing down at your arm that was now the sole focus of your boyfriend’s gaze, you sighed. “It’s not as bad as you think; it’s just a small fracture.”
“And that’s not bad?! Why didn’t you tell me?” he exclaimed, blinking rapidly as he rushed to your side. You couldn’t help but shrink back at his concern. He looked up at you with a pout. “When did this happen?”
“Uh, two days ago, I fell down the stairs at work,” you admitted slowly, biting at your lips and diverting your eyes at the gasp that left his mouth. You cringed. “You were busy with work, I-”
“Never keep something like this from me again.” His eyes were back on your cast, but you saw his jaw clench, and if you pushed your luck to tell him you had held out knowing full well he’d give up everything just to come home, you would be faced with more of Jisung’s rare appearance of his temper. And you didn’t want that.
Especially since it had been three weeks since you last saw him.
This thought seemed to cross his mind at the same time, his almond orbs softening as he looked up into your face. He smiled, leaning forward to greet you properly but you stopped him, pushing him back as your mind raced to what you hadn’t done since fracturing your wrist.
Jisung eyed you warily. “Why did you do that?”
“I can’t let you near me.”
“Because of your arm? I’ll be gentle.”
You shook your head, your cheeks heating up with your embarrassment.
“Oh whyyyy!”
You sighed heavily, darting your eyes to your lap, your voice coming out feebly. “I haven’t washed my hair.”
He was silent for a moment, but you daren’t look up, instead pulling a face in frustration. And then you flinched as Jisung wrapped himself around you, your cries being ignored by him. He buried in deeply.
“Yoon Jisung!”
“You have hugged me right after I’ve gotten offstage before, when I’m all sweaty and gross. Why would I even hesitate now, because your hair smells a little funky?”
You leapt back in his embrace, wincing as the pain shot throughout your lower arm. Jisung’s eyes connected with your wrist again before checking your expression. You shook your head at him. “My hair smells funky?!”
“Why would that bother me though when I love you so much?”
“Don’t throw that card at me! Aish, I feel so uncomfortable,” you muttered, heaving another frustrated breath.
Jisung chuckled a little, capturing your miserable attention and caressed your cheek within his hand. “Let me help you then.”
Tumblr media
You had to admit it felt like heaven.
When Jisung had suggested he’d wash your hair for you, you were hesitant. You didn’t want to end up soaked through, nor did you want to put any burdens on him when he was exhausted from travelling home. But he had insisted in the end, helping you rest your head over the bathtub ledge and began wetting your hair down, running his hand rhythmically through your long tresses. And the way he had massaged your head when putting in the shampoo had been so relaxing, admitting to him that it felt better than any hair salon treatment you had ever had.
This praise was all he needed to continue to spoil your head to the best massage and cleanse it had ever received. You hadn’t realised just how inhuman you felt with your dirty hair until your boyfriend had cleaned it for you.
And now Jisung had directed you to the sofa, bringing over supplies he needed to finish the job.
“You don’t have to dry it as well, Sung-ah,” you told him but he only chided you, motioning for you to scoot back towards him and soon his hands were towel drying your hair. You sighed in content.
“You look like you’re honestly in another realm of happiness,” he observed, and you could hear in his tone that he was elated to be the cause of it. You nodded softly, your smile growing as his hands did more magic. “Who knew I could make you putty in my hands by doing this?”
“I think I might have to make sure you do this once a month from here out,” you stated dazedly and Jisung chuckled, sectioning off some of your hair so he could dry it.
You were both silent due to the noise of the hair dryer, but you were floating further into the pure ecstasy, closing your eyes and enjoying the heat and your brush being run through every strand of hair. It took awhile for all of your hair to be dry due to the length, and by the time Jisung was satisfied enough to turn the hair dryer off you were almost asleep.
His arms wrapped around your waist to pull you into a more comfortable position against him, kissing the top of your head and then burying himself into the crook of your neck.
“Thank you.”
“It was my pleasure.”
“Jisung?” you started, feeling him hum in response upon your skin. “I’m sorry I didn’t tell you.”
“Promise me you’ll never keep me in the dark like that again. Even if you get a paper cut-”
“Really?!”
He nodded against you. “Even then. I want to know everything. How can I be a good boyfriend if you don’t?”
You awkwardly turned in his arms, mostly due to being unable to use one of your arms. Jisung supported you and you smiled into a chaste kiss as soon as you were balanced enough. “I love you.”
“I love you even more.”
“I’m sleepy,” you told him and he laughed. “You have the best hands ever.”
You could feel yourself drifting off to sleep as he played with your hair and tried to remain awake, your eyes not listening to your efforts. He kissed your head again which felt like bliss.
“Just relax, I’m home now,” he whispered and you nestled yourself into his chest. “Don’t ever get hurt without me around again, okay?”

Yoon Jisung | Soulmate!AU | Handwriting
Tumblr media
prompt: you have the same handwriting as your soulmate.
note: this was a request by an anon! my ask box is here and open! enjoy!
you remember being a kid practicing your letters in pre-k and hearing your teacher gasp in excitement
two other kids in your class had been assigned next to each other and when your teacher was walking around to check over their work, she noticed their handwriting being the same
every curve, every line was identical - it was like a printer copied them onto their papers
that was your first experience with someone finding their soulmate
and ever since then, you had been desperately searching for your own
you always snuck looks at your classmates’ papers to see if their penmanship matched your own, but to your disappointed, they didn’t
one year, your grade was chosen to send letters to students a few years older than you from a different school as a sort of pen pal mentorship exchange
you were assigned a student by the name of yoon byeongok so you sent a letter according to the rules of the program
he sent one back quickly, introducing himself and even drawing little smiley faces and cute shapes around his letter
you were relieved that your pen pal seemed to be kind and encouraging - his first letter already had a lot of awesome tips for applying to high school
after a few letters, you started to notice the similarities in his and your handwriting
but you didn’t want to embarrass yourself in front of someone you respected, so you kept your theory to yourself
that is, until byeongok himself asked you about it
one of his letters wrote “ah, and this might sound strange, but did you happen to notice that we have the same handwriting...? do you know what that’s supposed to mean?”
now you had hope that he was looking for his soulmate, too
so you wrote him back, explaining that you had actually put your letter and one of his on top of each other and held it to the light, comparing individual words
they were written identically
ever since you sent that letter, byeongok started acting a lot more casually with you, treating you more like a friend than someone he had to mentor
and you did the same, leading you two to eventually become best friends
the way you got along with him, you knew you were soulmates, even without physically meeting him
but byeongok still kept in mind your slight age gap, making sure to not approach you romantically just yet
so you continued to be just best friends
...until you moved from busan to seoul
you had failed to give him your new address in your last letter and the box you kept his letters in, and therefore his address, seemed to disappear with the move
all you knew was that he was planning on attending university in seoul and hoped that the universe would lead you to your soulmate once and for all
when you got to seoul, you settled in right away and made friends, but a part of you always felt like something was missing
you hadn’t talked to your soulmate in ages and while you had best friends, no one understood you like byeongok did
eventually, you graduated high school
and a new family moved into the house next to yours during the summer before university, where you were surprised to see someone familiar
it was park woojin, the cute little boy you always babysat back at busan
you guys hung out and you showed him around seoul during the weekends
he told you that he came into contact with daniel, another friend of yours from busan that moved to seoul a year or two back
woojin and daniel had met other guys in seoul and they became a whole group of friends
woojin would always tell you about the different guys, never shutting up about how cool and fun they were despite being a lot younger than half of them
when you met up with daniel again, he introduced you to sungwoon, who you found out would attend the same university as you
and daniel told you more about the guys woojin never shut up about
he especially went on about the mom figure of the group, but you weren’t really paying attention to the name
but you remember smiling at the mention of the guy, despite not knowing who he was
school started again and your first day of university arrived
you shared a class with sungwoon and met other friends as well
one day, after class, sungwoon asked if he could take your notebook home so he could copy some notes
he was asleep during class lmao
so of course you agreed and the next day, he came up to you looking suspicious while handing you your notebook
“...have you found your soulmate yet?”
you were surprised to hear this, feeling like it came out of nowhere
“i technically have...but i haven’t heard from him in a long time”
he nodded his head and remained quiet all class, which weirded you out but you decided to not say anything about it
after class, he told you to come eat dinner with him and a few friends
there, you saw daniel and a few unrecognizable boys at the table
you walked to the table in the middle of a guy wiping off daniel’s face and scolding him to eat more cleanly
“ya, you’re so old now, stop eating like a child”
you giggled to yourself as you got closer, mentally noting that this must be the mother figure that woojin and daniel were always talking about
sungwoon whistled, calling the guys’ attention and introduced you to them
the mother figure turned around and you swore your world stopped turning for as long as you guys locked eyes
everyone introduced themselves and when it came to the mother figure, you listened intently for his name
“hi! it’s really nice to meet the one woojin and daniel can’t stop talking about! i’m jisung!”
your heart absolutely dropped at hearing his name
despite your heartbreak at the thought of finding your soulmate and then discovering it wasn’t him, you made the most of dinner, quickly growing comfortable with the guys
seongwu’s jokes and seeing minhyun challenge the guys to shots despite his being filled with water LMAO made you feel kinda better
at the end of the night, most of the guys headed home, but jisung insisted on bringing you to your house
for some weird reason, sungwoon patted your back and winked before running to join the other guys
jisung offered to carry your things for you that you had brought from school, being really sweet despite you guys just meeting
you were a little tipsy and therefore, a little more talkative than usual, but jisung listened with an ever present smile, nodding his head and laughing at appropriate moments
you guys were halfway home when he asked if you guys could stop by a small park
he had you sit on a swing and sat in the one next to you, looking like he wanted to say something...so he did
“did you know we have the same handwriting?”
oh boy, you sobered up real quick
“w-what?”
“you’re my soulmate”
as much as you wanted to believe it, you knew your soulmate’s name wasn’t jisung
he noticed your hesitation and got a bit nervous, continuing,
“sungwoon hung out at my house last night and took out your notebook to copy notes...your handwriting is exactly like mine”
“..”
“i’m really happy that i found you after all this time”
not understanding his words, you decided to tell him the truth,
“listen, jisung, as much as i wished you were my soulmate, i know that you aren’t because i’ve already found mine...”
he looked confused and sad, lips unintentionally pouting
“what do you mean?”
you sighed, explaining about your lost love, byeongok, who lost contact with you when you moved to seoul
and when you were done with your story, you looked to jisung to see he was smiling and even tearing up
“i see”
“yeah, so i’m really sorry and i hope we aren’t awkward from here on out...”
“well, i’d hope not since you’re my soulmate”
“did you not hear anything i just---”
“i’m byeongok. i legally changed my name to jisung a little after we lost contact with each other”
you stopped talking and stared at him in shock - you hadn’t told jisung your soulmate’s name
he just smiled and stood up from the swings, walking over to you and holding his hands out for you to take, which you did
he pulled you up and hugged you, nuzzling his face into your shoulder
“i’m so happy that after all these years, we found our way to each other...”
he trailed off as you felt your shirt grow wet where his face was settled; he was sniffling but he wouldn’t let you go
you made him pull away so you could see his face and wipe away his tears while you were trying to hold in your own
“thank you for finding me, jisung. thank you for not giving up on me”
“as if i could ever give up on the love of my life”
he said this teasingly, leaning in to give you the first of many kisses that you would share with your soulmate
that night was the start of your relationship and your place as jisung’s soulmate guaranteed you a spot with the rest of the boys for life
and since jisung refusd to give up his title as mother of the group, you became their father (sorry minhyunnie)
sometimes, jisung would come to pick you up from the class you shared with sungwoon
“awww, hyung! you came to see me!”
“bye, i’m not here for you”
“WOW, what a neglectful mother!!!”
the guys absolutely adored you and were happy to see that jisung was no longer alone
and whenever you were with them, sitting with jisung’s arms around you, you were thankful for the family that came with you finding your soulmate
