Why is it that people are more concerned about what it is you’re doing than actually being concerned about you! For instance, i find it peculiar people can watch Snapchat and Instagram stories but not respond to text messages or answer phone calls. I’ve come to the realization that we have been programmed to prob but not care about problems. Could this be rooted in envy or jealousy?

Hi I need some help. I have friend Joe who I am super close with and tells me everything but I recently found out from another friend Karin that he ask her to be FWB. He never evenhinted that he might be into her she ask me not to say anything so of course I won’t but I am hurt that Joe didn’t tell me. I also have a terrible poker face so idk how I am going to act like I don’t know. Do you think there is a way to get him to tell me without being obvious I know?

Since you now have gained information into your friends personal affairs be cautious of how you approach the situation. One party has informed you of something another doesn’t know you know. Judging from your reaction you must not be a fan of FWB but one variable that isn’t present is Karins take on it. I’d say that if she is okay with the idea then your problem now changes to friendly input on whether you agree or not. If she’s not okay with the idea then you should encourage her to make her intentions known so you can avoid hopping in and having to reveal your hand especially if it makes you uncomfortable . I also would encourage not to be to disappointed that your friend didn’t tell you about his sexual affairs afterall it can be a very touchy subject so I would gauge the comfortabilty he has in expressing such things on the other hand he could’ve not told you in fear of you disagreeing. I also want to warn you that you shouldn’t put off completely the possibility of you having to reveal your hand should the need arrise especially if Karin is having difficulty expressing her intentions. You may also consider this approach going forward. One thing I tell my friends is this if we all are cool with each other and i take it you Joe and Karin are then dont expect me to keep secrets that you bring to me about each other because I don’t favor one friend over the other. How can I know quickly what kind of relationship that guy wants? I've seen him a few times but I think next time something is gonna happen between us cuz we'll only be the two of us but I don't wanna involve in a relationship that is like a free relationship or sex friends relationship!

Well truthfully asking never hurts I’m assuming you like him, but you aren’t in a relationship. If you don’t want a free type relationship, or a friends with benefits relationship then I would say that and admit your true feelings that way there is no chance that there is any miscommunication! think i like someone but i dunno if he likes me back, he's popular bc he's super hot and funny but he doesnt even know my name. We've seen each other at parties last time was this tuesday and we've danced together, last time it was kind of dirty dancing grinding and stuff... But anyway ppl say he doesnt talk or ask someone to dance if he doesnt know them personally so idk what to think bd weve never been introduced properly

Hmmm well maybe now its that time. He’ll definitely recognize you, i don’t think a man would easily forget someone he was slow grinding with not to long ago. Be careful though don’t get your hopes up to high because of you guys dancing together because majority of the time its just popular to do that not because he was trying to take it further. If you like him and possibly want to try a relationship the first step is to really get to know each other and go from there, always know someones true intentions, and true colors before you officially cuff!
