Just read your article about the whitewashing of comic characters, and as a brazilian (a white one) Josh Boone's justification sounds like the most batshit insane thing he could've said. Holy shit, racism here isn't "about light-skinned versus dark-skinned". As with any place where racism is present, we deal with colorism, but jesus fuck we had SLAVERY, black people deal with racism still to this day. Indigenous brazilians suffer racism, descendants of korean and japanese immigrants suffer racism.
