Vertical House Miró Rivera Architects
Characterized by clean lines, sheer glass walls, and sculptural sun shades, this sharply-detailed house offers an intriguing counterpoint to the tropical ambiance of its forest-like setting.
Starting at the lowest level, two 60-foot-tall exterior screen walls surge upward on both sides of the house, providing the home’s primary structural support as well as offering shade and privacy to spaces within. Moving vertically through the house from the entrance, every major space is immediately accessible from a glass-enclosed stairwell. Views outward become ever more impressive as the ground below falls away, and a palpable sense of suspension takes hold. The subdued material palette throughout the interior consists of white walls and polished concrete floors, with a continuous accent wall of bookmatched Carrara marble that runs the height of the stair connecting all the floors.
The progression terminates at an inviting open-air roof terrace, which offers breathtaking 360-degree views. A mechanical skylight provides access from inside, and the terrace is shaded from the afternoon sun by an extension of the screen wall, which turns 90 degrees to form an airy pergola.

For all the campers that keep asking for Ella’s (or “the prophetic harpy” as you all seem to rudely call her) cabin, she resides in a hidden part of the CHB woods. I designed her cabin myself and she does visit very often. If you do need to contact her for quest needs, or because you have received any dreams involving her, please go through me. 860-707-5865. (on a secured demigod line, please. See post 1.)

Halloween
As we near closer to Halloween I would like you to keep in mind of the danger that is still afoot. This is not a time to summon monsters or use the mist to confuse mortals. Remain in battle mode as the fight between Zeus and Poseidon heads towards you. Morals are scared enough as it is without a bunch of demigods tipping them over the edge.
And I'd like to ban the song, "Maria" from West Side Story as the battle gets closer. It will not amuse any god, and it will anger me.

Athens
If you ever feel bad, just remember Athens was brought down (Peloponnesian War, 431-404 BCE) because of poor military strategy.
I hope I don't have to point out the irony.

To half-bloods in need of assistance:
Contact a Saytr or local Half-blood
Whether it’s a battle with a drakon or a struggle carrying groceries, half-bloods and saytrs are always around to help. The safest way to get in contact is by sending an iris message. Always keep golden drachma with you for emergency, but definitely wrap them in something with monster protective properties so you don’t have any extra problems.
If you do not have golden drachma and are in a situation where there are no Half-Blood friendly ATM’s to make an exchange, seek out the nearest landmark near you. Most of these places have hidden entrances that the mist hides from mortals. Enter where mortals seem to avoid, and keep a low profile until you are sure that there is a satyr or half-blood there that could help you.
If the worst comes to worst and you cannot do either of these things, get to the nearest phone by a bus station, train station, airport, subway, or other forms of public transportation. Once there, book a ticket to get as far away from the phone as you can, as it will create a beacon of “YUMMY HALF-BLOOD” that will go out to any monster that is in a 46.5 mile radius of you (trust me I studied this for half a semester). Then make a call to MY cellphone. Do not call ANY mortal cellphone. My cell has been specially crafted to be able to take calls from anywhere from New Rome to Tartarus to New Jersey. The new Daedalus Phones cannot be traced by monsters, however if you know no other half-bloods with one of these DCells please call me.
