Sneaky peek Monday
Hi! Sorry I haven't posted in awhile, life's been kind of crazy. But here's another sneak peek into Kurt's world:
God, I miss New York. I miss the loud traffic at night that was its own kind of lullaby. The silence here is deafening; I can barely sleep without the sounds of sirens and taxi car horns. I miss the variety of food options. I miss how the sidewalks were crowded with people who rudely shoved you aside to make it to their destination in time. I miss Central Park. I miss the way Manhattan came alive in the evening, as if it were two different cities on opposite sides of a coin, flipped with the rising and setting of the sun.
I hate Ohio. The cell reception sucks, there’s nowhere good to get coffee besides a Starbucks around the corner from my house, there is no entertainment, and after one more day I’m about to start my senior year of high school with no friends. We’ve only been here for two days, but Finn already met a few guys when he went to the park to play basketball yesterday. At dinner, he couldn’t stop talking excitedly about two of them-Sam Evans and Mike Chang-and how they are going to show him around school and introduce him to the football coach, Sheldon Beiste.

Sneaky Peek Monday
When I arrive, I parallel park in front of Jeff’s trailer and turn off the engine. It’s stopped raining, so I take my time walking up the small porch to the front door. The awkwardness is starting to creep in; Jeff and I have never hung out one on one before. In fact, Blaine and I have only known Jeff and Thad for a little over a year. We met them the first time we went to Scandals, a local gay bar that doesn’t bother checking IDs.
Letting all of my lingering anxiety out in one deep breath, I knock on the door.
And wait.
A minute passes with no one coming to the door, so I knock again.
Still no answer.
“What the fuck,” I mumble as I knock a third time. A couple walking home with bags swinging from their elbows is giving me shifty looks. I’m about to tell them “my friend lives here” when I hear the door open behind me.
“Nick?”
“Oh, fin-” I start, relieved, as I turn back to Jeff’s trailer, but words escape me when I take in Jeff’s appearance.
Jeff is naked. Well, almost naked. There’s a towel around his waist. A small towel. A small towel that barely covers his thighs. There is so much pale skin that I don’t know where to look. There’s a chain around his neck that seems safe for point two seconds before it brings attention to his collarbone. A collarbone that is very defined and looks delicious enough to bite down on-
My eyes snap up to meet Jeff’s confused brown ones.
Where did that thought come from?

So, when I first started Let Me In back in 2012 when I was but a wee baby, I SWORE that I would never write smut in my life.
Well.
That was a lie.
I realized that we're all thirsty bitches and the fanfictions with the most views usually had smut in them. So, I broke my rule and started writing smut. And, you, know, it wasn't as bad as I thought. In fact...

Time to work on Let Me In! Here's a sneaky peek:
Ready at last, head held high, I swing open the bathroom door and step out-
And walk right into someone on their way through the door.
“Oh!” I gasp as I trip back over my feet in an effort to avoid the other person. Unfortunately, I must have left all grace at home, because I end up literally tripping over my feet and start to fall backwards. I close my eyes and brace for impact, but it never comes.
A hand grabs my arm and yanks me back up, but rather than righting myself I stumble forward, falling against a firm chest instead. My face heats in embarrassment, and I open my eyes to apologize, but I freeze when I meet a pair of amused hazel eyes. I can see flecks of green amongst the warm brown, and I’m pretty sure I’m gaping as I take in short curly hair, day-old stubble, and smooth, pink lips. The guy’s gorgeous, and my heart pounds in my chest.
“Easy, pretty boy,” he murmurs in a voice like velvet. He still hasn’t let me go. “No need to fall for me.”
