The Best Friend Break-Up | Natasha Romanoff x Reader
Pairings: Natasha Romanoff x Reader (Platonic)
Warnings: just some sadness
Content: sad fic, fluff, comfort, big sis nat
a/n: I hope you're getting through okay anon, I'm sure things will turn around with time, especially if you both have been friends for so long
Tumblr media
You huddled on your bed as tears streamed down your face, the feeling of guilt and regret weighing too heavily on your chest. A replay of the bitter argument you had with your best friend of 15 years kept echoing in your head.
Through your cries, you heard a faint sound - the soft creak of your bedroom door. Quickly, you wiped your cheeks and turned around to see Natasha in your doorway.
“Hey,” Natasha said softly, you could see the concern filling her eyes as she looked at you. “What’s going on?”
“Nat,” you choked out, your voice trembling. “I just…I don’t know what to do. Everything’s falling apart, and I can’t fix it.”
Natasha stepped into the room and closed the door gently behind her, her eyes filled with concern as she took in your tear-stained face. Wordlessly she crossed the room to sit down beside you on the bed, her arms immediately pulling you into a tight hug.
“Shh, it’s okay , Natasha whispered softly. “You don’t have to hold it in. Let it out.”
You clung to her, your sobs coming in waves. You could hear Natasha’s steady heartbeat beneath her chest which helped to  ground you in the moment as you tried to regain your composure. Her fingers were busy tracing soothing patterns down your back, offering you all the sense of security she knew you needed.
A few minutes passed, your tears subsiding into hiccups, leaving you feeling exhausted. Natasha’s touch on you remained gentle, as she helped comfort you. She didn’t press for answers, just sat with you until you were ready to talk.
“You can take your time,” Natasha reassured.
You took a few deep breaths to compose yourself before trying to speak, voice barely above a whisper. “I messed up, Nat. I messed up so bad. I hurt someone I care about so much, and now they won’t even talk to me. I don’t know how to fix it.”
Natasha continued to rub soothing circles on your back as she spoke, her words filled with understanding. “Sometimes, in the heat of the moment, we say things we don’t mean. It does’t make it right, but what’s important now is what you do next.”
You clung to her tighter, vision starting to blur once more. “But what if i’ve ruined everything, Nat? What if I can’t make things right?”
Natasha pulled you back to meet your gaze. “If you genuinely apologise and show that you’re sorry, there’s a good chance they’ll come around. It might take time, but it’s worth trying.”
You nodded. Natasha was right. She always is. Her words were a lifeline and you could feel the weight of your emotions lifting slightly, hope making its way into your chest.
“Thank you,” you whispered, voice filled with sincerity. “I don’t know what I’d do without you.”
Natasha’s arms around you tightened as she pressed a gentle kiss to the top of your head. “You never have to thank me,” she replied softly. “That’s what I’m here for, and I’ll always be here for you, no matter what.”

Look, if Trump leaves the courthouse and yells: “But Spiderman will pay for this!” It will be the least surprising thing ever.

The fluorescent lights of the grocery store illuminated the colourful snack aisles you and Natasha were walking down. There was a promise of a movie night with your mommy which had you excited beyond containment, so of course you had to stock up on snacks.
The basket Natasha was carrying was practically filled to the brim with goodies. Every time you saw something that looked particular tasty (and filled with sugar) you grabbed it off the shelf and placed it inside the basket.
As you navigated the aisles, hand firmly held in Natasha’s, she began to notice your enthusiasm waning. Anytime she asked you a question about what movie you wanted to watch, or tried to take a packet of candy (because you already had 3) out of the basket, you would grumble which soon escalated into full-blown pouting, much to Natasha’s confusion. Your previously happy energy had now transformed into something more akin to a thundercloud in mere moments.
“What’s wrong, baby?” Your mommy asked, a hint of concern in her voice. “You were so excited about movie night.”
Your lips tightened into a thin line, and you let out a frustrated huff, causing a few shoppers nearby to glance your way.
“Nothing,” you mumbled, annoyance lacing your tone at the mere question.
Natasha sighed softly, recognising that something was most definitely wrong. She reached over and gently placed a hand on your shoulder.  “Alright, let’s finish up here and head home. We can see if you wanna talk then.”
With the shopping incomplete and the mood slightly soured, you dragged your feet slowly as Natasha walked you to the check out to pay for the few items you had collected before leaving the store. The ride back home was quiet, Natasha had tried her best to lighten the mood by playing your favourite songs but before the first note could be sung, your tiny voice pierced the air with an angry shriek.
“No mommy!”
Natasha’s hands tightened on the steering wheel as she complied with your demand, her heart sinking with disappointment at your unexpected outburst. You spent the remainder of the drive in silence, staring out the window completely lost in your own thoughts.
Once pulled into the driveway, Natasha turned off the engine, and looked back at you to check if you were still brooding in the back seat.
You were.
“We’re home,” Natasha said softly, her voice ever patient.
You remained in your seat looking out the window, refusing to meet your mommy’s gaze. Sighing, Natasha climbed out of the drivers side and headed around to the back to retrieve the groceries.
“Y/n, it’s time to go inside,” Natasha said, her voice only just masking her frustration.
You acted like you couldn’t hear her, your gaze still fixed on the shrubs outside of the car. It was only when your mommy’s figure came into view did your gaze shift to her face.
Natasha opened the backseat and unclipped your seatbelt. Silently she lifted you out of the car, but you didn’t protest. She placed you on her hip, grocery bags still hanging from her arm.
Once inside the house, Natasha sat you down on one of the kitchen stools, groceries discarded on the counter next to you.
“Alright, y/n. We need to address this behaviour. You know it’s not okay to act like that in public.”
“Yes it is,” you smirked.
Natasha raised an eyebrow at you, she wasn’t in the mood for playing games, her patience already wearing thin. She took you by the hand and led you to your time-out chair.
“You’re going to have time-out for a little while so you can think about your behaviour.”
You didn’t say anything, just scowled, bottom lip stuck out as Natasha left the room.
Minutes passed in silence before your mommy returned, her demeanour softer now. She knelt down on the ground in front of you and took both of your hands into her own.
“Okay, y/n. Can you tell me what happened at the store? Was there something bothering you?”
You fiddled with Natasha’s fingers, avoiding her gaze. “ Don’t know, mommy, didn’t feel good.”
Natasha’s concern deepened for you, her maternal instincts kicking in more. She knelt down in front of you, her expression gentle. “Did you not feel good on the inside or outside?”
You shrugged your shoulders, voice barely audible. “Inside.”
“Do you know what made you not feel good on the inside?”
Your eyes glistened with unshed tears, “got tired, mommy, the lights were bright and it was too noisy.”
You could almost see Natasha’s worry turn into understanding. She reached out and gently lifted your chin, making you meet her green eyes. “Hey, sweet one, it’s okay to feel that way. I just wish you could have told me so I could have helped you.”
Your tears fell, wetting your cheeks for only a moment before being brushed away by your mommy. “M sorry mommy.”
Natasha pulled you into a warm hug, her arms wrapping around you tightly. “Apology accepted, sweetheart. Remember you can tell mommy anything, okay?”
You sat in your mommy’s lap, head resting against her shoulder, not wanting to let go of her for a single second. She combed your hair gently with her fingers until your breathing evened out and your grip relaxed slightly.
After a few quiet moments, Natasha’s voice turned soft and playful. “Hey,” she whispered, “Shall we go start our movie? I think we’ve had enough serious talk for now.”
You nodded yes into her shoulder, eyes no longer filled with tears and a smile tugging at the corners of your lips. Natasha helped gently lift you from her lap, allowing you to stand up.
As you settled onto the couch, you snuggled into Natasha’s chest once again, her arms wrapped around you pulling you close. “You ready?”
“Mhm,” you hummed, feeling safe and loved in the arms of your mommy. You could feel her press a soft kiss to your temple before she clicked ‘play’ and your favourite film lit up the screen.

Broken Bones | Mama!Nat x Little!Reader
pairings: Mama!Natasha Romanoff x Little!Reader
warnings: hospital visit, broken bones (not graphic/descriptive)
content: Mama nat comforts you through the visit of your hospital trip after breaking your arm
a/n: thank you for this req anon, this actually inspired me to write something else so I can’t wait to finish it but I hope you enjoy this in the meantime!
Tumblr media
The early evening sun cast a warm, golden glow over the backyard. Armed with a jar you crept through the tall grass, concentration in full swing as you tried to locate the source of the blinking lights in your yard.
Natasha’s heart swelled swelled with love as she watched you creep up on an unsuspecting firefly, only to leap out a few moments later, cupping your hands together in the air.
You could feel the tiny insect fluttering around securely inside your hands, quickly you placed the bug inside the jar and screwed the lid on tight.
“I caught one, mama! Look!” You yelled as you held the jar high above your head.
You could barely contain the excitement, you had caught your first firefly and there was only one person on this earth you wanted to share this moment with. Holding the jar close to your chest, you ran as fast as possible toward your mama.
Too focused on reaching the patio, you didn’t even see the uneven patch of grass that caused you to go falling to the ground.
Natasha’s heart skipped a beat as she shot to her feet, her instincts propelling her forward. “Y/n!” She called out to you, her voice tinged with concern as she rushed to your side.
You lay on the grass, your arm cradled close to your chest in pain as tears began to well up in your eyes. Natasha’s heart clenched at the sight of you.
“Baby, are you okay?” Natasha’s voice a mix of urgency and tenderness as she knelt beside you.
You could feel your bottom lip quiver as a tear began to roll down your cheek. “Mama, it hurts.”
Natasha gathered you as carefully as she could into her arms, her presence immediately bringing you a wash of comfort despite the pain. “Shh, I’ve got you,” she murmured, her words soothing.
She carried you back towards the house and set you down softly onto the patio bench. “Can you let mama take a look?”
You shook your head no, holding your arm tighter to you, a rush of pain shooting through your body as you turned away from Natasha.
“Lovebug, I need to take a look, make sure you’re okay, I promise I’ll be gentle.” She tried to reason with you, her words soft.
It took a few moments and some more words of encouragement before you allowed Natasha to get a good look. She gently examined your arm, her brows furrowed as she saw swelling near your wrist. As soon as she touched it you screamed out in pain.
“Shh, shh, it’s okay baby, it’s okay.”
Natasha didn’t like the way you arm looked, now starting to bloom a dark bruise by your wrist. She decided you had to go to the hospital.
With help from your mommy, she scooped you up again from the bench and made her way through the house and carefully into the car. Strapping you gently into your seat she made careful work not to touch your arm.
Once at the hospital Natasha made sure that you were seen to as quickly as possible. They had given you some medicine to help with the pain whilst waiting to attend to your arm.
Before long, a nurse appeared, calling out your name. You looked up at your mama who gave your hand a reassuring squeeze before standing up.
“We’re ready,” she said, her voice steady.
Together, you followed the nurse down the hallway to the examination room, not once letting go of Natasha’s hand.
You sat yourself on the examination table so the nurse could better examine your arm, asking questions and taking notes as he went. You needed an x-ray for the nurse to determine that your arm was broken upon the impact of your fall. If it wasn’t for Natasha by your side, whispering soothing words and giving you all the comfort you needed, you probably would have panicked at the news.
“We’re going to put a cast on your arm to help it heal properly,” the nurse explained, his tone soft and gentle. “It might feel a bit strange, but it won’t hurt a bit.”
Usually you would be listening to every word but now you were to focused on watching Natasha’s face to determine if this was a good or bad thing.
As the nurse began to work, your brows furrowed a mix of curiosity and apprehension. “You’re doing so good lovebug,” Natasha said, her voice soft and encouraging.
Natasha reached out and brushed a strand of hair from your forehead. “Remember to keep taking deep breaths, it’ll be over before you know it,” she whispered.
You nodded, fingers clenching the edge of the examination table. The nurse worked quickly but meticulously, ensuring that the cast was fixed snugly and securely. Your face scrunched up as the material set, a mixture of discomfort and relief on your features.
“And done!” The nurse announced, his smile warm. “You were very brave, y/n”
You gave the nurse a small smile, the tension in your shoulders easing as the casting was finally done. The nurse cleaned up and exited the room, leaving you and Natasha alone for a few moments.
“Thank you for being with me, mama,” You said softly into the quiet.
Crouching down to your level, Natasha pressed a gentle kiss to your forehead. “I’ll always be here for you, no matter what,” she said, her voice filled with unwavering love.
With the all-clear to leave the hospital, Natasha grabbed your belongings along with something else you didn’t quite see.
“Can I see your arm baby?” Natasha asked, her lips showing a small smile.
You obliged with her request, holding out your casted arm carefully for her.
Natasha took your arm and pulled out a black marker. With a steady hand, she began to write on your cast, her touch gentle yet purposeful. You watched as the marker left behind a trail of black ink, mesmerised by each stroke of the pen.
“Mama’s bravest baby” Natasha read aloud as she finished, her voice soft but filled with conviction. She looked up at you before giving you one more kiss on your cheek, "Now, let's go home."

Oral Fixations | Mommy!Wanda Maximoff x Little!Reader

warnings: age regression

a/n: thank you so much for your req, sorry it took me a little while to get to it but I hope you enjoy <3

Wanda Maximoff sat at her desk, engrossed in a virtual conference call with her colleagues. Things had shifted recently where Wanda had been able to spend more and more time at home, working online every now and then when needed. She liked it this way, preferred it even, it meant she was able to spend much more time with her precious little one.
The soft glow of the computer screen illuminated Wanda’s features as she discussed matters of importance, giving a rundown of the previous meeting that had happened the day before. Amidst the virtual chatter filling the room, you sat close to Wanda’s side on a bundle of small pillows and blankets you had brought into the room to create a safe space by your mommy’s desk.
You loved nothing more than to sit by your mommy’s side observing Wanda as she expertly navigated the conversation, her voice both confident and engaged. You were too little to understand what was being said but nevertheless you couldn’t help the small smile that played across your lips as you watched your mommy work.
You could feel yourself beginning to get fidgety, your fingers idly tapping along the edges of the desk, a habit that often surfaced when you needed to occupy your hands. Noticing y/n’s restlessness, Wanda momentarily glanced your way, her eyes twinkling with amusement.
"Darling, do you need something to keep your hands busy?"
Your cheeks tinged with a faint blush as you met Wanda's gaze.
“M sorry, mommy, didn’t mean to distract you.”
Wanda leaned slightly in your direction, her voice a playful whisper. "You're never a distraction, love."
As Wanda's attention returned to the ongoing conversation, you found yourself seeking a solution to your restlessness. Your gaze settled on Wanda's hand resting on the armrest of her chair, her fingers tapping lightly in rhythm with her thoughts.
Without thinking much of it, you scooted yourself closer to Wanda, your fingers lightly grazing Wanda's hand.
You looked up at the screen to see if you were in the frame but luckily for you, you went unnoticed by the others on the call. You slowly brought Wanda's hand closer to your lips, eyes fixed on the screen still - just in case.
Gently, you pressed your mouth down around the junction of Wanda's pointer finger and thumb, the tender contact seemed to sooth both you and Wanda as the warmth of Wanda's skin beneath your lips created a sense of connection.
As the conference call continued, Wanda's gaze shifted, her eyes meeting yours with a mixture of affection and understanding. You couldn’t help but smile anytime your mommy looked at you the way she did, she was always so beautiful and you were in constant awe of her.
As the call drew to a close, Wanda's fingers stilled, and her hand settled more fully into your touch. With a satisfied sigh, you released the gentle press of your lips, your fingers tracing a soft pattern on Wanda's wet skin, a mark from where your mouth had just been.
Wanda's voice was low and intimate as she spoke. "Feeling better?"
You smiled again, your gaze meeting hers. "Mhm, thank you mommy."
