Originally, I wanted to simply revisit an old Halloween drawing I did of Luke and Connor, but I ended up drawing everyone in their own little getups. They were indeed dressed up as a sexy nurse and a slutty maid.
I am becoming more appreciative of the changing landscape of Halloween costumes. For so long, it's just been underwear with the ears of a somewhat "cute" looking animal (a la Mean Girls) for women, and big, baggy, bulky costumes for men. Nowadays, everybody gets to show some skin. If you're gonna objectify women, might as well objectify men too; equal rights and all that.

TFW you’re dog-tired but you’ve been going for so long that your body doesn’t know how to slow down and stop. Every waking moment that you lose attempting to rest becomes more and more painful to see pass by.
Luke, in all of his paternal weariness, still manages to hold on long enough to face another day. Somehow he manages to hold an extraordinarily tenacious will to face this thing we call “life” head-on. It’s as if it is his duty to take in every experience, good and bad, to justify his presence in this world. Or maybe he just wants to assign an arbitrary meaning to his otherwise worthless and meaningless existence.
Either way, some days are just more difficult than others, it seems.

Here's an old drawing of Demon Connor that I never ended up putting anywhere. Probably because I forgot to add in the lighting bolt burn marks. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I guess the design came together from a lot of different ideas. I had some ideas stemming from Dante’s devil trigger form, plus I also liked some aspects of Zora Link too. I figured since Connor’s father (i.e. his former self) was a storm deity, it might make sense to have some sort of enhanced aquatic abilities, hence the fin blades. And the hair was definitely inspired by Gill, with his luscious locks.

I swear to god, I fall head over heels almost every time I draw Connor.
I'm not sure if I'll ever get the hang of drawing pit hair, but dammit I'll keep on trying. Body hair in general has always been more of an implied afterthought for me, so I have never really bothered with it until now. I have always admired how gooeycandy draws it on his characters (particularly larger/solid masses, like pits and pubes). Bonus: I actually commissioned a piece from him a while ago of my oc Connor (it came out beautifully btw) so go check it out!

Some more drawings of Tanner going psycho.
I'm growing more fond of this alter ego of his. I wanted his name to be an anagram of Tanner, but the names where I used all of the letters sounded kinda ridiculous, so I might just keep him nameless. I suppose it's more of a hidden persona, rather than a completely different personality anyways, so it works out.
He definitely goes from sadisticly gleeful to outright infuriated when somebody doesn't let him have his way, though.
Tanner. Mental institution. Crazy. Bitch need a straitjacket.
Also, how did his pants come off?

Idk, I guess they just felt like twinning today. They definitely rock the 90's era tank top and high-waited shorts combo though. The shorts could have had some bold and repetitive patterns too (not that I was too lazy to draw them or anything, of course not!)
