✶﹒author's note: i'm back, yayyy!!! long time no see huhu,,, i've recently been thinking of writing some headcanons of how enhypen would text when dating, so here it is!! hope you enjoy it!! i can literally see him sending flirty texts like "thinking about me?" with the stupidest grin on his mouth, and when you reply with a "yes" he'll start kicking his feet on the bed.

i dont really see him using pet names over text, probably he has you on his contacts as "y/n" and some cute emoji that reminds him of you.

"can i call you?" is probably the text he sends you the most.

heeseung prefers calling over texting, but he's shy about facetiming, especially when you have just started dating.

although he's a bit blunt over text, on calls he's a very veryyyy sweet boyfriend. his smitten voice gives away his love for you completely!!! (>᎑<๑)/♡ even when he tries to keep that "cool guy" image, he just can't do that with you-

heeseung had a day off after quite some time, and as much as he would have liked to spend it with you (just like always), this time you couldn't be home until the evening.

"it's okay, i can spend the day alone."

that's what heeseung thought, and he actually did… he played video games, slept a lot (hugging that body pillow of his imagining that it was you) and even tried to make some new dish to eat. after a long time, he finally had the time to do whatever he wanted to do, but…. why did time pass so slowly when you weren't around?

maybe he hadn't realized it before, but the moments when he wasn't surrounded by his noisy members his mind was instantly filled with you: "i wish y/n was here", "y/n loves the song from this ad", or even "y/n would have put a band-aid on for me" when he got a small wound on his finger while cooking… (っ◞‸◟c)

yeah… you could say that he missed you, just a little (a lot). heeseung wasn't really used to being the one to wait for you to come home, and to be honest, his patience was reaching its limit. probably that's why the moment he heard the sound of the keys in the lock after so long waiting, his face immediately lit up. it took him barely a second to get up from the couch and run to the front door, his feet shuffling nervously for you to open the door so he could see your pretty face that he had thought about so many times during the day.

"i'm hom-!"

you couldn't even finish passing through the door when you were wrapped in your boyfriend's arms, his head hidden in the crook of your neck.

"i've missed you. a lot."

you chuckled, somewhat surprised by his clingy attitude. you brought your hand to his hair, stroking it gently.

"you did?"

heeseung nodded with his head still on your neck, letting out a small "mhm". he broke away a few seconds later with his arms still wrapped around your back, his bambi eyes looking at you with a small pout on his lips.

"what did it take you so long? i thought i was going to die if i spent another minute here alone."

you couldn't help but laugh at his childish attitude, making him smile. heeseung was quick to place his lips on yours, leaving a short kiss on them ...and another one. and one more. probably kissed you like 10 times in a row. all this at the entrance (door still opened btw).

that's what you get for having a boyfriend that loves you so much!!!

jay needs attention 24/7. he is completely in love with you, and just as he proves it to you every day with his actions and affection, he also expects to receive your love all the time!

although for some reason, i think he might be a bit reluctant to be affectionate in front of his members… (it's not like he cares too much what they think about him, however he prefers not to put you in any situation that could end up with the other members making fun of you… especially that one maknae).

that's why jay will be much more clingy when it's just the two of you, whether it's on a date or just spending time together at home.

this time you were at the members' house, having one of those many movie nights that always ended up running late into the night, and this time was no exception.

the third movie of the evening was playing in the background as you all talked about your anecdotes, laughing together. and as much as you tried to concentrate on jake as he explained his story, you couldn't help but notice your boyfriend's gaze completely on you.

you look back at him, confused for his intense stare. and the moment he shifts his head slightly to the right and mutters a "do you want to go upstairs?" you can't help but smile. you shake your head, knowing how obvious it would be to go just the two of you upstairs together (as if everyone present doesn't know you're together), but when a pout forms on his lips and he looks at you with his "pretty please" eyes you give in right away.

you were both weak to each other, after all.

jay smiles triumphantly at your acceptance, walking towards you from the other side of the room and taking your hand. he starts walking to the stairs without saying anything and questions from the members are soon present in the room.

"i'm tired, we're going to sleep"

everyone complains, jungwon speaking seconds later.

"what do you mean 'we'? if you're the one who's tired let y/n stay!"

jay doesn't stop his steps, still grabbing your wrist and dragging you with him.

"you say that as if y/n would rather spend time with you than me"

the complaints of the members is the last thing you hear before you and jay enter his room, closing the door behind him. and like a magnet, his body sticks to you instantly, embracing you.

"that was a bit mean before"

you say, jay pulls away just enough to keep you as close to him as possible, smiling without any kind of regret.

"honestly, i don't care. besides, i didn't lie. you prefer to spend time with your boyfriend rather than with them, don't you?"

you barely have time to answer when his hands move to your cheeks, kissing you immediately. he had spent the last hour looking for you with his eyes to ask you to leave, so now that he had finally gotten what he wanted, he just wanted to enjoy you.

the moment he separates, his lips kiss you again, leaving several pecks. his eyes look at you with love permeating his pupils, your heart racing.

"you don't have to answer, i know you do."

jake's most clingy times would probably be in the mornings, especially in winter. jake loves to be glued to you, no matter when, and that feeling is only multiplied when it comes to starting the day with you cuddling him.

however, there were some mornings when you had to get up early and leave before he did… yeah, those mornings were never precisely easy (especially because you always ended up being late).

and this morning was one of those. your alarm rings and you hurry to turn it off without moving too much, trying not to wake up your boyfriend sleeping next to you. somehow he had detached himself from you during the night, so maybe you even manage to get to your appointment on time!

...right?

yeah, not today.

jake turns to you almost immediately the moment you start to move to get out of bed, wrapping his arms around your waist. he lets out a whine in his sleepy voice, resting his head on your back.

"y/nnn, don't go~~~"

you try to detach his arms from you to no avail, because even though your boyfriend was half asleep he was conscious enough to tighten his arms around you and not let you go anywhere.

"i have to go, i can't be late this time"

he shakes his head.

"what could be so important for you to leave me like this?"

you let out a weary chuckle. how could he be so dramatic?

"i will be back in a few hours, just keep sleeping"

you were still struggling against his arms around your waist that would not separate in any way.

"can i at least get a good morning kiss?"

you sigh as you hear his question, the strength in his arms loosening as you begin to turn toward him. you immediately meet his tired eyes and relaxed expression, yet he has the biggest smile on his lips.

you leave a quick kiss on his lips, and the moment you pull away he kisses you again, sticking closer to you (if that's even possible).

"how can you be so beautiful even when you just wake up?"

look at him, racing your heart as if nothing. jake kisses you again, resting his face on your neck as he spoke in his sleepy, raspy voice.

"i really don't want you to go, please stay with me~"

... it's not like the appointment was that important after all.

you and sunghoon had finally made time to go out on a date together, so you decided to go ice skating (this had nothing to do with you wanting to see your boyfriend skating, of course not).

sunghoon obviously thought it was a perfect date, especially since he knew that ice skating was not something you were very good at so he would have an excuse to hold your hands!!! ♡(｡- ω -)

so from the moment you finished putting on your skates, he made sure to take you by the hand and walk you to the ice rink (he was also laughing at you for your clumsy steps but we won't mention that).

he made sure to help you from the very first moment, never ceasing to smile in that smitten way at you because of how adorable you were.

sunghoon is not a big fan of pda. also, he's not too affectionate unless you are the one who initiates the physical contact... all because of his shyness.

but there were times when:

your attention > his shyness

that's why your boyfriend had the wonderful idea of going faster, making you stagger. he obviously laughed immediately, making you to look at him with an angry stare (although the smile on your lips gave away how much you liked seeing him happy like that, even if it meant having to endure his teasing).

"you really want to see me fall, don't you?"

sunghoon laughed once again.

"maybe"

your eyes connected for several seconds, and without realizing it, you became lost in each other's gaze. seeing him smile so much couldn't have made you happier, feeling your heart warm in your chest.

and sunghoon just… he was in love. doing something he loved so much with the person he loves the most was the best he could ask for. he could hardly stand how adorable you were when you tripped, held on to his hands tightly or smiled at him every time you almost fell down. even now, seeing you looking at him with that pretty smile on your lips…

oh my god, he wanted to kiss you so bad.

and for the first time, he didn't hold back. his hands released yours to wrap them around your lower back, pulling you close to him and bringing your lips together in a sweet kiss. he really couldn't care less what the people around him thought at that moment.

it was a quick kiss, but certainly unexpected enough to leave you totally startled. sunghoon smiled the moment he broke away, and you knew perfectly well that the red in his cheeks was not due to the cold of the ice rink.

because yeah, sunghoon was shy.

but he was also deeply in love with you.

and at the end of the day, that was all that mattered.

and he? he loves it. the feel of your lips on his neck always sends shivers all over his body (in the best possible way). it happens so often, but it always manages to make him all shy and a bit flushed!

pecks. simple kisses that always manage to make him nervous! sunghoon would never say it out loud, but he loves to be kissed by you. when you leave short kisses on his lips, cheeks or literally anywhere he feels in heaven! try to leave a peck on his lips after making eye contact for a few seconds… it will be the end of him!

there are even times that if you kiss him repeatedly, the moment you stop he'll look at you with that "why are you stopping?" puppy eyes, although he'll probably say something more like "are you so in love with me that you need to kiss me that much?" (this guy istg-).

usually you are the one who gives him this kind of kisses, although there are times when he stares at you and simply cannot control his impulses so he ends up leaving a small kiss on your cheek, smiling at you with that eye smile of his, fonding over you.

forehead kisses. very rare kisses in your relationship but that you both love more than anything else! they usually happen when one of you is feeling down… it's like your personal way of comforting each other. although they also happen in a playful way, when you literally grab his head and plant a kiss on his forehead, making him laugh at the aggressive way you had of doing such a sweet thing.

ni-ki loves it when you kiss his forehead because despite his 6 feet height it always makes him feel small, completely loved and cared by you!!! (although you will never hear him say it out loud… /sigh).
