Why overshare all you hold near?
When their grip it yearns to be
'round thine throat
Not all are out to get me.
Experience has been leant,
Time has been extended
And now the move is mine.
A small mistep I do regret
But Time has passed
a blowing glance it strike my
Face now blue
I find my feet I stand back up
And through my scars I start anew
Gleams white light filters proof
For Time has healed my wounds.

Presently I wither here
Thirsting for a splash
Crisp from the sun's embrace
For which I did not ask

Be you flora, feline or even man.

Find repreive in your sunspot.

I did not learn to smile...
I knew how as a kid.
As a teen I lost joy, misplaced by mistake.
My heart continued to ache.
Through every class I'd take.
Through every job I'd hate.
Through every love I'd debate.
Despite hot meals on my plate,
And smiles cross my face.
I loathed, I reclused,
Of course until I found You.
I did not learn to smile...
It was lost for a bit.
But now We knows how.

I meet him sometimes,
The man I aim to be.
I comfort him often,
The child lost at sea.
I toast to him more lately,
The soon-to-be me.
