Just realised Melinda and Danovic* Desmond are one of the few characters who Anya hasn't met hence who's thoughts we don't know.

We do know that both are political, the manga's central theme is deception and we've seen how quick their expressions change so there's definitely a "two-faced" aspect going on. Don't believe what you see kinda thing.

This aspect of the unknown honestly makes them really intimidating.

Is Melinda here holding back a laugh or angry or excited?

After episode 9 I think we're gonna see a lot of people preaching that Tengen loves Hina more so I just want to give my take:

This episode Hina was the one who was in severe danger of being killed, so of course Tengen has lots of flashbacks to moments between him and hina (like a life flashes before your eyes kinda thing).

Note that in all these memories they're always together with the other wives because they're a unit.

They all care about one another and have different relationship dynamics between one another. Each personality is a different suitability to the relationship.

Hina - the wise/calm one

Suma - the emotional/dreamer one

Makio - the headstrong/loyal one

Tengen - the flashy one haha

* obviously personalities are more complicated but still
