Wicked Zenobia’s origin story

Zenobia’s full name is unknown and so is the place she grew up in. Some believe that she’s from Skull Island. But not all of her origin is a mystery. She was the daughter of an infamous Witchdoctor who has a more mysterious past than she does. The only information we have of him was that he belong to a group of pirates called the Sailors of the Spiral, which included Jenny Carrington (Buccaneer), Emile Beaufort (Swashbuckler), Leonardo Ferrari (Privateer), and Alfred Davies (Musketeer).

When Zenobia was 9 years old, her family and a close friend named Mike were killed by pirates. She was also killed in the mutiny, but was saved by a Krok witch named Kamilah. She took her to her homeworld, Krokitopia, and resurrected her in the Tomb of Storms.

Although the resurrection was a complete success, Zenobia became a completely different person. Her hair turned white, lost her memory, and her behavior was odd. Kamilah trained her in the ways of magic, which felt right at home with Zenobia. The citizens of Krokitopia were scared of her. Thus giving her the name of Wicked Zenobia.

When Zenobia was 14, she left Krokitopia and travelled to Skull Island to get her memory back. She met up with a Water Mole Witchdoctor and they practiced hoodoo together to find out about her past. But it was immediately interrupted by the Armada, who outlawed all magic. The Water Mole fled but Zenobia was arrested.

She was thrown into the brig of an Armada ship with included five other orphan pirates. Oddly enough, they were also children of the original Sailors of the Spiral. Wolf (son of Jenny), Maeve (daughter of Emile), Roberto (son of Leonardo), and Timothy (son of Alfred). They would escape the brig and reform the Sailors of the Spiral.

Dead-Eye Timothy’s origin story

Timothy William Davies was born and raised in Marleybone. He is the son of Alfred Davies, a former redcoat who became a pirate, and Emily Davies who was an engineer.

When Timothy was ten years old, he went on vacation with his parents on his father’s ship. Unfortunately, a giant sky squid attacked the ship. Alfred and Emily were tragically eaten. Meanwhile, Timothy barely survived. While fleeing to the life boat, a piece of debris struck his right eye, causing him to pass out.

When he woke up, he was in a hospital back in Marleybone. His left arm was broken and his right eye was completely damaged beyond repair. He didn’t just lose his parents, he lost his eye. Thus giving him the name of Dead-Eye Timothy.

After he was released from the hospital, his father’s friend, Edwin Wright, took him in. He was a redcoat just like Alfred was before becoming a pirate.

Timothy spent the past three years shooting his father’s old gun in secret. He also spent time with criminals who got him into a lot of trouble.

Now 13 years old, Timothy found some steampunk looking weapons and decided to practice with them. But little did he know, those guns belonged to the Armada. They discovered him and arrested him for smuggling.

He was thrown into the brig of an Armada ship. There he met four other pirates who would play an important part in his life.

Clever Roberto’s origin story

Roberto Ferrari was born in Valencia. His father, Leonardo Ferrari was an infamous Privateer who followed King Casimir. It was rumored that Leonardo helped with the creation of the Armada. His wife, Lady Sofia, was apart of a rich family in Valencia.

For his last expedition, Leonardo took his wife and son with him in search of buried treasure. However, it was indeed Leonardo’s last expedition. A horrible shipwreck took Leonardo and Sofia’s lives. Roberto was one of the few survivors.

Roberto survived in a jungle for almost a week. Until a group of ninja pigs kidnapped him and took him to Mooshu. They wanted to sacrifice him to their deity, Hamakala. Before he was sacrificed, one ninja pig named Ebon Crawler swooped in and saved him.

For the past few years, Ebon raised Roberto and taught him how to defend himself with a sword. During his past time, Roberto spent his time reading and studying tactics. Thus giving him the name, Clever Roberto.

Roberto returned to Valencia when he was 16 and discovered that the Armada clockworks had taken over Valencia. Which led Roberto joining the Resistance.

A year later, now age 17, he was discovered by the Armada which led him being charged of Treason. He managed to flee towards Skull Island until he was caught.

Roberto was placed into the brig of an Armada ship where he met four other pirates imprisoned with him.

Pretty Maeve’s origin story

Maeve Élise Beaufort was born in Polaris. Her father, Emile Beaufort, was an infamous Pirate and one of Napoleguin’s top spies during the Polarian War. Maeve barely spent any time with him because he was so busy. Maeve’s mother, Adeline, was a professional ballet dancer. Her and Maeve spent so much time dancing together.

After the war, the Beauforts fled Polaris to escape the Armada. They set course for Skull Island to hide from the clockworks with the help of one of Emile’s former crew mates, Milo Graytail. However, not everyone would reach Skull Island.

During the trip, a horrible storm took Emile and Adeline’s lives, thus orphaning Maeve. For a couple of years, Milo has been raising Maeve in the dirty streets of Scrimshaw. He taught her how to speak English, pickpocket, sneak around, and learn how to use daggers in order to survive. Because of her golden blonde hair and green eyes, she was granted the title of Pretty Maeve, despite being young.

Now at the age of 15, Maeve was taken into custody by the same clockworks her family tried to flee from. All because she dueled an Armada officer for protecting Milo.

Maeve was thrown in a prison cell in one of the Armada ships. There, she met some friends to help her along the way.

Strong Wolf’s origin story

Wolfgang Von Cratz was born in Karamelle. His father, Noah Von Cratz, was a member of the Schism. His mother was the infamous Pirate Jenny, rumored to be apart of the same crew that traveled to El Dorado. This news drew the attention of many people, including Kane, the leader of the Armada. The Armada is an army of clockworks that bend of taking over the Spiral. And that includes El Dorado.

Kane and his elite clockworks traveled to Karamelle in search of Jenny with the help of Nana. After hearing that the Armada was after them, Jenny attempted to flee with her husband and son. But Kane and his clockworks caught up with them on their ship.

Noah tried to fend off the elites while Jenny and Wolf made a run for it. Unfortunately, since the elites were too strong, Noah was beaten to death.

While Jenny and Wolf were running towards the life boats, Kane jumped out of nowhere and started fighting Jenny. Although Wolf made it to the lifeboat, but Jenny wasn’t so lucky. Kane took her own life right in front of Wolf. Kane looked completely soulless despite what he’s done.

After that day, Wolf grew an everlasting hatred towards the Armada. He made an oath to destroy every last one of them for killing his parents.

After a few days in the skies, Wolf was found by a bear named Baldur Goldpaws who took him to Grizzleheim. While there, Wolf trained to be a strong warrior. Thus giving him the title of Strong Wolf.

Now at the age of 16, Wolf left Grizzleheim to Skull Island and start hunting down Armada troops. That’s where he encountered an old woman getting harassed by clockwork soldiers. Without a second thought, Wolf charged in and started ripping apart one of the clockworks. But he was quickly restrained and arrested.

They took him prisoner on an armada ship which will sail to Valencia. While in the brig, he met other pirates who would heal him achieve his goal.
