Although Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes still has bugs while running on Xbox Series X, I still managed to have fun playing it.
For the newcomers reading this, Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is a brand new Japanese RPG made by a team led by creators who collectively worked on Suikoden games.
This game has really great art direction, fine art style, detailed 2D sprites and smooth animation!
The battle system plays very similarly to the first Suikoden games and so far, it is not too stressful to play. The current rate of random battles needs to go up a bit though.
If you enjoy Japanese RPGs, go for Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes now! Meanwhile, those who are playing it on Xbox Series X should be ready to report bugs (overheating and shutdowns caused by "insufficient ventilation") to the game developers.
