"My suit to suit" Stuck in the pretentious life of persuit, Sleepless nights with no rest,Draining days at my desk, I smoke a cigarette to forget the stress, the irony that brings paint to my chest. "My suit to suit" Made to measure and bespoke, wishing I deeply inside wasn't broke. The boss man laughed at me when he said " are you done with those reports?", Proud I was when I said "yes" as my friends criticized me for replacing my life with the sorts. Ignorant I was of the systems metaphorical jokes. "My suit to suit" Pin stripped and navy blue, IPhone 6, the latest BMW and promises filled with hullabaloo. The impressions I gave my friends, making them strangle me for money as though they wanted to sue me. "Sigh" A lifestyle I honestly resented. "My suit to suit" Shirt collars tearing, shirt collars wearing, Shoe soles bearing, the vigorous friction between the land that made me and the itallian hand made shoe that apparently saved me, From the painful blisters between my torn socks, And the deep cutting texture in my soles box. "My suit to suit" The future is bright they said,Work hard they said. But in reality that future all seemed pretty dead. Dead like a beautiful soul that's just left a body in its bed, Dead like the drops of sweat that constantly left my head. 450,000 a deal I made as renumeration from the walking dead. Car debt, house debt, insurance debt, lifestyle debt and the last 20,000 on a hopeless alcoholic bet. "My suit to suit" Money purpose, money values, money principles, money encircles, The revolving 8 to 5, Monday to Friday, Friday to Sunday, new years to my wish list,On the jolly day of Christmass.
