Hi I need some advice... how do you handle feeling insecure about your art? Have you ever finished a whole piece just to delete it in frenzy later? I keep drawing and deleting ans never post anything anywhere, I want to make art friends but I'm scared to even talk to people...

Well I do have quite a few drawings in my sketchbook that i spent a lot of time on but still look pretty crappy. I typically try to salvage my drawings and make them better as much as i can, but things just dont work out sometimes. I then just leave them be and just don't look at them. And that's ok! That IS a part of an art process. Things you create might suck sometimes (or even a lot of times, trust me, we all go through that).

As for posting, i did used to delete my older drawings, which i deeply deeply regret now. It's like a piece of your history, you know? You can look at your art later in life and you'll see how far you've come. To avoid deleting them on impulse maybe once you post something give yourself a 'delete cooldown'? Like, wait a week and only then delete something if you'll still want to do that. Or do scheduled posting.

Aand talking to people: you need to push yourself out of your comfort zone. Slowly, baby steps. Maybe join some small discord chat or something. Then gradually build up. Join an art club or something.
