Sovieshu is shocked that you would refuse to become one of his mistresses. Mans has never been told ‘no’ before (just wait, dude) and he doesn’t know how to take it. Since he was in a higher place of power than you, you (as calmly as you could) told him that it was against your culture’s rules to become someone’s mistress, even saying that you could be beheaded.

He tries to reassure your safety as long as you would accept, but you keep refusing. He really doesn’t know how to take a hint. Eventually, you get angry and lash out. You questioned the sheer amount of audacity he must have for asking for another mistress when he already had one as well as a wife.

Rashta and you are both enemies of each other. Of course, part of the reason is cultural differences. It was shameful to become the mistress of a reigning monarch where you’re from. The amount of times you have had to refrain from beheading her is too many to count. It really did make you miss Ace, and that was saying a lot.

Another reason is because of how she carried herself without any dignity. She always tried to take the offensive position but always ended up wailing back to Emperor Sovieshu. In front of the guy, you called her the lowest of cowards and that she should be ashamed of herself. The young mistress was shocked that her ‘husband(?)’ didn’t do anything. After all, how could he? He was still infatuated with you.

Navier asked you to become her handmaiden. You, relieved to find someone competent, accepted. She is delighted that you took so easily to the duties of one of her handmaidens. She did enjoy your conversations of what your world was like. You two get along because you tend to think logically rather than with emotions.

She takes up the ‘motherly’ role during your time here. In order to make you a tad more comfortable, she added a section of red roses to her garden just for you. In return, you offered to throw her one of the best unbirthday parties because hers was ruined in the worst way. She had to admit that it was a great celebration.

Heinrey panicked when he found out that you could understand him perfectly when he was in his bird form. You promised to cover for him, mainly because his visits as Queen made Empress Navier happy. You would offer ‘translations’ for Navier (coming up with something when she asked what Queen was saying) and explain that you were taught to understand animals.

He was grateful for you doing him this huge favor. You warned him that if he were to hurt the Empress in any way, you would have his head on a wooden platter because at that point he wouldn’t have deserved a silver one. You were very intimidating to him.

Bonus: Kosair, after meeting you, had to admit that he did fall for you. Not only were you wholeheartedly against Sovieshu, but you served Navier with your whole heart. He could tell that his beloved sister’s mood has lightened with you around.

If you will have him, he will show you places you could never imagine. He will act as your protector, make sure that you feel loved, and cherish you for as long as you will allow him to. He has the intention of marrying you one day, alright? He is not playing around.

SJM not only had Cassian and Lucien trying to get to Nesta and Elain during the Cauldron scene, but she also made it so they were present for Feyre's first visit to her sisters upon her return from Spring:

“The hellcat now, if you’ll be so kind,” the King of Hybern said. I whipped my head to Nesta as she went silent. The Cauldron righted itself. Cassian again stirred, slumping on the floor—but his hand twitched. Toward Nesta.

Cassian stirred again, his shredded wings twitching and spraying blood, his muscles quivering. At Nesta’s shouts, her raging, his eyes fluttered open, glazed and unseeing, an answer to some call in his blood, a promise he’d made her. But pain knocked him under again.

As well as.....

There was a coiled, razor-sharp tension in Cassian as the three of us strode down the stairways of the House, the red stone halls dim and echoing with the rustle of Cassian’s wings and the faint howl of wind rattling at every window.

But Cassian sauntered over to Nesta, a half smile spreading across his face.

“You’ll what?” Cassian crooned, trailing her at a casual pace as she stopped perhaps five feet from me. He lifted a brow as she whirled on him. “You won’t join me for practice, so you sure as hell aren’t going to hold your own in a fight. You won’t talk about your powers, so you certainly aren’t going to be able to wield them. And you—” “Shut your mouth,” she snapped, every inch the conquering empress. “I told you to stay the hell away from me, and if you—” “You come between a male and his mate, Nesta Archeron, and you’re going to learn about the consequences the hard way.” Nesta’s nostrils flared. Cassian only gave her a crooked grin.

When I looked ahead, I found Cassian staring back at Nesta as well. I wondered why no one had yet mentioned what now shone in Cassian’s eyes as he gazed at my sister. The sorrow. And the longing.

And.....

Lucien staggered a step forward as Elain was gripped between two guards and hoisted up.

“That is enough.” Lucien surged for Elain, for the Cauldron. And the king’s power leashed him, too.

Lucien snarled at the king over the bite of the magic at his throat, “Don’t just leave her on the damned floor—” There was a flare of light, and a scrape, and then Lucien was stalking toward Elain, freed of his restraints.

As well as.....

I cut in, “If Elain is not up for it, then she won’t see him. I won’t force the meeting on her. But he does wish to see her, Nesta. I’ll ask on his behalf, but the decision will be hers.”

“I want to go home,” she repeated. I couldn’t ask her—about Lucien. Not now. Not yet. I turned away, fully prepared to bolt and completely fall apart in another room, another section of the House. But Lucien was standing in the doorway. And from the devastation on his face, I knew he’d heard every word. Seen and heard and felt the hollowness and despair radiating from her.

SJM put these males in these major scenes as a focal point with the sisters for a reason. Feyre even decided not to ask Elain if she'd be willing to meet with Lucien and Nesta vehemently argued against Lucien seeing her yet SJM still found a way for Lucien to be involved ❤️

And in both scenes, the males are experiencing some big emotions. Sorrow and longing for Cassian and devastation over Elain's depression for Lucien.

When it comes to Nessian and Elucien, SJM laid the groundwork, building a story from the ground up. From the sisters lowest points to their eventual POV, ending in their HEA. ❤️

Shoto as the Empress’ concubine is top tier (although imagine if they sent a smug bastard like Dabi or idk, Hawks lmao)!! He’s so calm and easy to be around and she can just relax around him.

But imagine if he just loves flaunting his affection for the Empress in public. He already bickers with Izuku a lot and Bakugou isn’t his biggest fan, but just picture the DRAMA when he gently puts his hand over the Empress’ at the dinner table, caressing her palm while they gaze lovingly at each other right in front of Izuku and Katsuki; when he nuzzles his head in the crook of her neck or on her lap during a social event; when Katsuki comes to do his royal duty (or try to) to the empress but finds Shoto got there first. When Izuku barges into her palace to find Shoto and the Empress making out in the garden. Shoto is a hated me for sure, and Izuku nearly tears his hair out with anger. Katsuki is already thinking of ways to get rid of him.

(Lmao I actually thought about. Not Dabi but like, Enji lmao, but, that's more of, I just really like how big he is 😳 it's very. Domineering and sexy and masculine. His body type is 🙏 although if we're talking Enji and royalty I've had separate ideas for him in the past albeit in a more fantasy castles and knights and kings sorta idea, but)

that clingy bottom bitch Deku, running into Katsuki's palace in tears: Your Excellency it's terrible its absolutely terrible its horrible its inhuman... the Empress and that monk are in the garden together!

Katsuki: yeah I'm sure... They're always together

Deku: but this time it's different. This time they're.... HOLDING HANDS 🥺

Katsuki just yeeting all the paperwork off his desk to go and see if this absolutely outrageous claim is true (which it is)

But also Shouto just whole-heartedly being fully devoted to his Saintess and Empress 🥺❤️ which may be loving or creepy however you'd like to interpret it. He basically replaces all your ladies in waiting or becomes some sort of authority figure over all of them and is just attached to you like your left hand, but his presence is much more welcomed than your arranged marriage with Bakugou or his overly affectionate concubine. He's soft and sweet and respectful while also being very well-read and talented in many things. He did kind of, dedicate his life to the purpose of serving the Saintess after all so he's, would a geisha be a wrong comparison. He basically trained himself into being, a very entertaining, loyal, strong companion figure? More than just a servant but, serving all the same you know?

Katsuki walks by your palace hoping to visit you and you're just outside on the veranda with Shouto playing a little lyre or zither or something while you listen with a peaceful, happy expression and Bakugou just sees RED and storms away before you notice him because, your little attendant 'technically' isn't doing anything wrong and the young man's family has influence to retaliate if anything happened. Izuku is trying to bring you some snacks and invite you for a picnic and you're already having one wirh Shouto in the garden, Midoriya absolutely scandalized and turning pink and red as Shouto is oh so loyally applying a sunscreen to your exposed skin, massaging it into your delicate hands and wrists, your neck, your face, maybe even your ankles, and maybe it isn't just Izuku's imagination that he's getting a little handsy (or it could be entirely platonic and Deku is just a jealous little bitch, i mean, multiverse theory means we can have both lmao)

Shouto is just having too many tender and intimate moments with you for your pining unrequited lovers to be comfortable with, and what's worse is how happy you seem with Shouto's company. The two of you are just. Too close for your husband (and, kind of sort of second husband/concubine) to find acceptable. I wouldn't put it passed them to like, try and have him poisoned or assassinated and frame it on someone else, but that would practically kill you with grief so they, abstain, for now at least

Gosh but. You know. C: returning to the concept of, "Shouto is so devoted because Reader is the Saintess and he basically practices a religion revering the Saintess" idea.... geez you know, I mentioned Midoriya being potentially manipulative upon rejection, but, imagine some sort of trouble in paradise (maybe you found like a creepy stalker shrine where you find out oh this whole 'worship you' thing is going in several different nonplatonic directions) and you reject Shouto in some sort of way and at his absolute lowest, most desperate, he's just like, groveling at your feet, maybe literally trying to kiss your feet and stuff like the tops of your sandals or whatever, just like, weeping. You can't reject him, he's devoted his entire life to this 🥺 without you in his life his might as well just kill himself, or so he pleads with you. God it would be so awful. Just saying he's nothing more than a dog to serve you, grabbing at your dress, please don't reject him please please please

Imagine Shouto having previously lost his shit on Midoriya for trying to cry and manipulate for your attention and now here the monk is like outright waving a ritual knife around threatening suicide if you don't let him keep serving you (which of course you agree to and at this point the two of you are close enough that this is a pretty traumatizing experience for him to do all this) so, angst I guess for Reader feeling like she's "ruined" Shouto and also not being entirely comfortable with him but also still having all those previous good feelings for him and not being able to really get rid of him unless she like pleads to Bakugou which. No. So now you have multiple people thirsting and obsessed with you and you're just so done with it all, maybe you're about to have your own manhwa moment, "I Traveled Back In Time To Save Myself By Marrying The Demon King Of The Neighboring Kingdom" or some shit lmao, watch you end up with an infinitely worse man like.... God who's more toxic than Bakugou in MHA... man i wouldn't fuck him for anything so you know who'd be terrible. Monoma. I don't think I could put up with his, uh, manic episodes on top of any obsessive yandere tendencies 🙄 but also.... hm.... he does have the potential to be real creepy though...

But also like, on a different idea of some sort of, betrayal, imagine if, to just be gross for a sec, Shouto catches you trying to rub one out and he c: helps you, and you're you know shy at being caught but he kinda worms his way up to you and gets to work so quickly you don't really have time to protest and realize 'oh hey having his face between your thighs is definitely a much better alternative than Bakugou and Midoriya being creepy and possessive with your body' and kinda, lowkey he becomes your loyal little fwb. And you're trucking along thinking he's so perfect and lovely and that's when you find out Shouto is also a total freak down something horrendous for you and you've kind of just been putting out to someone just as bad if not worse than who you were trying to avoid, and I mean, unless he tries to steal you away for himself, Shouto also benefits from you being chained to this palace by status and duty. Keeps you in one place and protected for him 🥰 and also he has access to such nice supplies and materials to pamper you with, like putting fresh flower petals in the enormous tub you take baths in, or luxurious jewels for pins for your hair or necklaces or rings, just anything he can give you to make you feel pretty, not to mention the kinds of robes and dresses you receive as Empress

Sure, Shouto COULD try and help you escape. OR he could rat you out if he ever catches on to you planning such a thing and keep you right where he can find you :) that awkward moment when your loyal servant and best friend turns out to be just another obsessive creep who wants you to put out 😔

Confession time: I was one of those who believed the tumblr/twitter metas and tiktok comments about Laena the love of Daemon's life... only to actually read the book afterwards and see that all this was based on the fact that he went after a doctor and did not left her corpse on the ground aka. did what a human being would do. Like imagine my reaction when everyone was like “read the books, Laena and Daemon have an amazing love story there”... only to find out more about what strangers thought about their dragons, and nothing about this supposed grand love story.

Anyways, books turned me full Daemyra, so that's my win I guess. 😁

This is exactly what I mean when I say take nobody's word for it, check the books and make up your own mind. You could write the end of the asoiaf books plus 7 more books and counting with the amount of misinformation this fandom spreads and the lies that keep being repeated until they become the "truth".

The High Priestess: The Power of Silence & Intuition: Tarot Series 🃏💎🔥🦋

Hey hey! I'm back with another tarot card review! Today we are continuing the major arcana with the High Priestess. She is the embodiment of feminine energy + spirituality (while the Empress is more of feminine energy on the material front, more on that in her post). Being ruled by the Moon, we know her power is not of one that is loud but is seen AND felt! She is the power that we humans (as spiritual beings) are born with but get disconnected from as we age: our intuition. She is a strong, psychic force that many love to underestimate, but trusting in your own intuition and leaning on Divine timing is something we disconnected humans have to relearn over and over. It is our natural strength and how we solidify ourselves. The matrix wants us to be disconnected from our psychic nature to disempower us. If you look at the pillars and its symbolism in the Rider Waite tarot, there is a connection in the Christian bible as the B stands for Boaz (the Hebrew translation for strength or "in his power") & J for Jachin (establishment) that is seen at King Solomon's temple (which is depicted as the setting of this card). Those are also the qualities it takes when you lean on your spiritual growth. Understanding your power within turns to having power in the material realm (the Hierophant is a better representation of the power on the material front). The opposing colors of these pillars also represent the duality of nature and how the High Priestess watches this process happen and notes it for her own practices & growth. And the best thing is she is not loud about it, she simply reconnects back to her spiritual roots and solidifies her spiritual power. There is a dark side and light side to all, and given the High Prietess is ruled by the Moon (the planet of our emotional instincts, safety, and comfort zones) I would not take her lightly just because she is very forthright about her power. Just as she is soft, she is turbulent. Just like everything else in nature. She may be more terrifying, but she is silent and moves according to her intuition. She’s a vessel of Source. You better be careful.

I have to say that I love Daenerys, even with her flaws. I know, I know - there's a plethora of reasons to hate her guts, but there are parts of her that we see when she's just starting out that resonated a lot with me (that uncertainty, the recalcitrance, the dread of duty, the pressures of family and reputation etc.). When she began growing into herself, it reflected a sort of growth that I wished would come to me; it took a lot longer for me to find my own sense of empowerment in life, if we can phrase it that way. So, for personal reasons, I'm always going to have that bond and appreciation to Daenerys.

I've also always loved the account of Empress Matilda (one of the claimants to the English throne in the 1100s); for so long, history derided her as this sort of femme fatale, power-hungry monster of a woman. But really, she had ambition and she had the claim as her father's - the King's - sole surviving legitimate heir. Of course, when he died, no one supported her claim, and she spent much of her life trying to take back the throne from her cousin. Eventually, her son would go on to be Henry II of England. Why do I bring all this up? Well, ASOIAF draws pretty heavily on medieval history (i.e. Game of Thrones parallels the Wars of the Roses), and Rhaenyra is quite clearly based on Matilda. A deeply-flawed, socially-deviant 'witchlike' figure whose primary crime is - in a world where men ruled and women were expected to let them - and always had been the desire to make her own destiny, to move beyond the limitations that had been set for her.

I love the tale of Rhaegar Targaryen as well; never could really get an idea if he was this star-crossed romantic hero or a deluded madcap, but I think that's actually what I like about him. What we know of Robert's Rebellion and the parties involved comes after the fact - we never truly see it happen, and thus all we can know is based on the bias of other characters. A villain, a lover, a warrior, a tragedy - no one will ever truly know what kind of man he was.

Plus, I love Daemon. He seksy AF.

The official wedding of Peter I with Catherine took place on February 19, 1712. Catherine was crowned by Peter I in May 1724 in Moscow.

Kings and Queens have married for love before. Not all have been happy endings, but it has happened. Not saying people should actively seek out a prince or princess. A lot of European countries didn't like royals marrying outside of royalty for a long long time. For the UK it's very recent that marry a "commoner" was considered okay.

I think if you act like Henry VIII and not care, you'd be able to marry who you like in the olden days, but to achieve that you have to be scary and cruel and a lot of people were scared of Henry.

She was sure she would hate it there, yet surprisingly she gets to participate in the epic RPG the kids play and falls for the human princess and the elf king. Who is friend, who is foe and which side should she choose?

I step out of my house and breath in the fresh and cold morning air.

I’m still not Elsa, but maybe I can live with this cold.

We will see.

“Morning N.K.!”, greets me Tammy happy.

I hug my best friend tight and arm in arm we walk to school.

“So ready for your first school day?”, she asks me.

“After the craziness of last week I’m going to so enjoy normal stinky school.”, I admit.

Tammy nods.

“Not that I blame yeah…so our Stick of Truth RPG is really stopped for now?”

“Well, without Stick and me being the Empress of both fractions it doesn’t make sense to still have war and play this RPG.”, I explain. “Besides it totally got out of control. Till we get a new idea, it’s the best it’s on ice.”

“If you say so. Also back to normal life. I hope I can join the next RPG earlier, even if it was crazy and fucked up, I had a lot of fun with you.”, confesses Tammy to me.

Smiling I give her a cheek kiss, which makes her giggle.

“As long as the boys make me play with them, I will always find a way to have you with me.”

We pass the bus stop where Cartman, Kyle, Stan, and Kenny are waiting for the bus. Waving at them in greetings and all besides Cartman, who rolls his eyes, wave back.

But me and Tammy continue going on foot.

“So…something new on the Kyle/Kenny front?”, wants Tammy to know.

I’m saved from answering since Leo joins us.

“Big sis, Tammy, good morning! Can I walk with you?”

“Of course Leo!”

I take his hand and he smiles like sunshine at me.

“We will talk about this later, you can’t keep me hanging!”, whispered Tammy in my ear, before she turns to Leo asking him about his weekend.

The truth is I don’t know how it will go with my two crushes in the future. Till I don’t know who I like more, I will do nothing.

You know what, I will just ignore this before I turn crazy. It’s surely not healthy to talk with yourself that way and concreted on Tammy and Leo.

I could get used to this.

After I used my Magical Girl Wand Attack Eye-Patch-Grandpa and his minions didn’t appear again.

Maybe…just maybe I can finally live like a normal pre-teen life.

No more moving around.

Having a social life.

Living my teenage years with people I know and like.

Maybe South Park will be my home for a long time.

That would be amazing.

We have reached the school and I dare Leo and Tammy to a race at the front door.

Rashta, Remarried Empress- once again i am burdened as the only person with correct opinions ever, i’m her lawyer i’m her defense attorney i’m in the trenches fighting anyone who says mean things about her. She’s done no wrongs she’s conniving she’s being manipulated. A tragedy that’s giving me heartburn.

Herlock Sholmes, The Great Ace Attorney (1 and 2!)- I went into this game taking like 200 screenshots of the same frame Barok van Zieks showed up in just to see him blink, but then they did something to Sholmes that hit me so hard i blacked out. So sholmes won but only in the end it was a close race. 10/10 character i love the tribute to Maurice Leblanc’s method of just renaming him like that.
