He wouldn’t want to make you uncomfortable either, so he accepted the position, and stayed respectful and calm.

He was like a living heater, yet very calm and gentle. He would hold you as long as you needed. Even if he suspected you had intentions of staying the entire night.

While you got cozy beside her, she’d talk and talk about everything that’s happened to her all day, and just in general. She’s a bit of a rambler.

She wouldn’t have realized it, but she would have had her arm around your waist/shoulder, to try and keep you warm, yet completely forgot. Mid ramble, she’d realize you fell asleep, and try to go to bed herself, making sure to keep you warm as well. Letting you hog the blanket!

She would watch as you slipped under the covers, and laid next to her, clinging to her. She would let you adjust, and eventually start to stroke your hair, or play with it. She would him as she read a book, or looked out her window.

She is very gentle and motherly, and wants you to feel comforted by her. She is happy to warm you up… despite her being cold as well. Even if she suspects you just wanted to cuddle up with her for the sake of it. She never gets upset.

He just simply shrugged upon your offer. He would just wrap his arms around you, and drag you with him, from behind. You’d just be in his lap, coddled, and a bit restrained. While he was a bit blunt and hard headed… he did seem pretty happy to accept your offer. He is like a Human heater!

He will rest his head against yours, and make sure you’re warm, occasionally asking if you are okay, or if he is hugging you. He doesn’t let go, and decides it’s is his duty to keep you warm. He seems a bit embarrassed though, underneath how blunt and bold he was.

i think he’s mentioned he likes staying at his parents when he comes home because it’s not very often and he doesn’t get to see them much. neither of you want to risk being overheard, so its strictly no touching when you’re there. you’d like to be staying in a hotel room with him, free to do whatever you want without worrying about his parents hearing. you’d never argue about it because it’s not worth it, he deserves to see his family for a bit and you have twenty three other races where you’ll be in a hotel and lando or someone else being kept up in the room next door instead of his family.

you’re both frustrated by the lack of alone time and it leads to salvaging any bit of it you can get. you’d given different excuses when you disappeared for a quickie, hoping to put some pep in his step right before the race. you said you were grabbing a coffee and oscar said he was going to grab something from his drivers room. when neither of you come back to the garage after a few minutes, no one thinks anything of it. but eventually someone goes looking for him and is absolutely scarred by what they see when they open the door to oscar’s drivers room and find her half naked on the couch with oscar on his knees between her thighs, right in front of the unlocked door.

22. do you ever worry about public reaction to what you’re writing? how do you get past that?

So far, the only time I was super worried about the reaction was when I first posted a fic here. It was the second idea I had/fic I had wrote for Miguel, it was curated towards black fem readers, AND I hadn’t used this account in years. I was nervous that there would be backlash for how specific it was.

౨ৎ — alt. ending!

there were few things gojo loved about life. a handful of simple joys that made his — frankly, tiring — existence as the world’s strongest sorcerer just a pinch better.

one of them was your face. a vague first, and he knows that, but that doesn’t change his answer.

“satoru, look. look how many there are!”

look at you, fascinated with something as simple as jellyfish, your eyes illuminated by the blue luminescence of the bubbling tank, your palms pressed to the glass as if you’d never even heard of a sea creature before. he’d never given a second thought to things like that, but he’d buy you the entire aquarium to keep that smile on your face.

“mhmm,” he murmurs, "real pretty.” not once had he taken his eyes off you. even with six of them, he could never get tired of the way your cheeks stretch and your lips show off your teeth.

the second thing was the way you looked at him.

or maybe, he'd told himself countless times, times late at night when his thoughts raced with you, times when he felt his heart ache and pull against his ribs, begging his lips to spill words that his brain told him to keep in, maybe you look at the whole world like that. he wouldn’t be surprised if you did. the way your eyes gleamed when you stared at something you loved — satoru gojo never thought he could be jealous of an inanimate object until he met you.

the third thing was the fact that you didn’t know how he felt. it was a bittersweet, slightly addicting feeling, like candy with a sour coating and a sugary aftertaste. he’d thought out how to tell you: that was why you were at the aquarium right now, though he’d disguised the very obvious date as another hangout when he’d first texted you.

“i didn’t know there were so many different kinds,” you continued to ramble, your hands still pressed to the tank. then you turned to him with that look. that look of wonder. like a child — and gojo hated children, but when you looked at him like that…

“do you think we’re jellyfish in some other life?” such a stupid, random question, and yet his heart pounds, and he prays you can’t hear it. white lashes flutter under his sunglasses, all six eyes focused on the shape of your lips as they push out sweet words. the strongest sorcerer, prodigy of the gojo clan, reduced to something of an elementary school kid with a life-sized crush.

“…yeah,” he mutters, clearing his throat awkwardly when his voice nearly cracks. “yeah, probably.”

the rest of that day was spent in a comfortable bubble, just you and gojo, wandering around staring at fish. it was simple, and he’d not have it any other way. for a few hours, he could forget about it all, take in your face and feel his tiredness die out like a bad dream.

...satoru gojo swore the gods must have hated him.

he couldn’t even lift the tarp. it was white, practically red now that unimaginable amounts of blood had soaked it through. your eyes were closed now, courtesy of him — because you deserved to rest in peace, and because he couldn’t bear to see the fear preserved in them as you lay there on the table. as a reminder that he wasn't there to save you.

'killed in action'. three fucking words, and his world was turned on its head.

if had he known the aquarium was the last place you two would've been happy together, gojo would've given anything to make that day last just a few minutes longer, so he could spill his guts, pour his heart out, told you that you could be jellyfish in your next lives like he should have.

but in the end, you died without ever knowing he loved you.

• Stretch marks, scars, chub, teeth, anything you’re insecure about… Diluc will always have room in his heart for them. He will never judge you for your appearance, and love you no matter what.

• Will dramatically flirt with you, or talk to you, just to cause a scene or make you embarrassed.

• Little spoon, 100%.

• Loves to hold your hand, and be at your side. You’re his comfort person, despite how bold he seems, he is truly a ball of stress.

• Kisses on the nose absolutely melt him…

• Gushes about you to “Father” and Lynette, can’t get over you. Lynette ends up bluntly telling you, which made him very embarrassed…

• Wanderer may seem extremely cold, or skiddish… but he is shockingly bold and blunt about his relationship with you. While it can cause “drama” sometimes, he truly does find it amusing.

• If you’re ever insecure, he'll know. He isn’t cruel, of course, he’d never bring it up infront of others. Though, when alone, he will—all be it gently, still firmly reassure you about anything that leaves you feeling anxious.

• Has a jealousy problem, but it isn’t obvious until someone else starts trying to hit on you, or get too close. He will have an arm around your waist or shoulder the rest of the interaction.

• Will say something is “stupid” out of impulse… but then ask you to tell him more.

• He is very blunt with you, and honest about his feelings. Sometimes he words it wrong, but at least he will never lie.

• Big spoon, little spoon when ill or down.

• Will boop your nose unironically. He used to call it stupid, but started doing it to you, loving your reaction every time.

• Very understanding, just hard shelled unless he’s sure the two of you are alone.

• Likes to have his hair played with, it’s rather comforting for him.

• Has definitely flicked your forehead because you said something negative about yourself…
