author’s notes: hey guys, sorry for not being active again. on wednesday last week (1st march) i received some quite upsetting news about a family member, and late on saturday night (4th march) that family member unfortunately passed on. i’ve spent the past few days just reflecting on everything but i hope to be a little more active on here again.

the previous night, you and jungwon had a sleepover at the dorms, and despite him having school that next morning, he let you rest, expecting you to be in and around the dorm when he returned.

however, you had woken up not long after he had left for school, and just lay in bed for a little bit to allow yourself to wake up.

that was until you were informed of some awfully upsetting news.

any plans you had that involved getting out of jungwons bed had been thrown out the window. you had been so overwhelmed with the news you had just received that you began to just wallow in your sad thoughts.

you were so distraught by the news that you didn’t even notice the time passing. it was only when you felt the bed dip beside you that you realised your loving boyfriend had finally returned from school.

“hey? what’s up my love?? you didn’t even hear me come in?” he questioned, his head slightly tilted, and his deep brown boba eyes, making everything seem a little bit more alright than they were.

even the thought of telling your boyfriend (who told you he’d be with you through everything) made you want to cry. it was sign of acknowledging that the news was 100% real and not just a figment of your imagination.

jungwon could see it in your eyes that something had happened, but at this point, he didn’t know what.

after a few minutes in silence, spent gathering your thoughts, you finally told jungwon the unfortunate news.

immediately he knew all you would want was his comfort, so that’s what he set out to do. he wriggled himself down on the bed and pulled you over to lie on top of him, your head on his shoulder, his hands; one playing with your hair, the other lay on the small of your back rubbing tiny circles.

the pair of you lay like that for hours it seemed, until you slowly drifted off to sleep, embraced in his warm touch and comforting scent.

what you didn’t know is that he stayed up throughout the night to make sure you were okay…

You were so shocked too. You lost grip of the object you were holding.

"Sunoo, jungwon, niki..." you stare at them terrified. "What the fuck did you do to daehyun?!" rage fills you.

You were distracted on Daehyun, you were helplessly crying...He looked so pitiful.. That was when you blacked out.

you slowly open your eyes, you were in an unfamiliar place. You hardly remember anything, you don't remember why you blacked out. Your eyes we're wandering around the room... The only thing you can hear is the faint sound of dripping water. That gave you a clue. You must be in a basement..

"Y/N..Are you... O-okay? " you were startled but the voice.

"oh my god.. Daehyun." You gasp, "What happened?!"

"Great question, y/n." a voice interrupts. you swiftly turn your head to the person, it was Ni-ki.

"Ni-ki.." you weakly say. it was like a stab in your chest. your closest friends, almost killing your boyfriends because of how they brutally beat him up. "Why the hell would you do this?"

"It's because you're ours. " he sighs, "But daehyun here, is fucking wall."

"We have to slowly break him.. Until we can be with you. "

Then two boys appear from the shadows, revealing Sunoo and jungwon.

"Hi y/n!" Sunoo, who shamelessly greets you in a 'sweet' way. You just stare at him with a dead expression.

"Aren't you going to say hi back? " Sunoo firmly grips your jaw making you since in pain. "My, my lady. You gotta learn manners now that you'll be here with us!"

You spit on his face. He slowly backs away from you, with his eyes darkening.

"Should we end it now?" Jungwon steps forward.

"Why, of course yes! " sunoo claps his hand.

They slowly approach daehyun, " Wait- No! Get away from h-him! "

There... You saw such a horrifying sight. He was beaten to death.

"Y/n..I'm sorry.. " your boyfriend's last words.

You ears start ringing and the voices and noises become muffled, " stop crying, we're doing this for you. "

Your stomach dropped because now you will be with them, forever.

author’s notes: this is the first time i’m trying out a new layout for my writing!! also i’m so sorry i haven’t been active, i’ve been anxiously waiting for my a-level results (which i passed!!!) and then applying for university etc. and i’m also really sick so i’ve been sleeping this past week away not having chance to write anything.

it’d been a couple of days since riki had finished filming the paradoxxx invasion mv, and every day since then, he sent you picture and videos of the kittens.

it was his attempt at trying to persuade you to adopt a kitten on his behalf, not being able to adopt his own due to his band mates (annoying 🙄) allergies.

you replied to riki’s (un)convincing messages about adopting kittens, telling him that the pair of you were simply to busy to be adopting and looking after animals.

unbeknownst to him, you had already planned to adopt a kitten before he even met the ones on set, so all you had to do was phone up and alter some of the arrangements that had already been made.

in fact later that evening, you were due to meet with the owner of the litter that you were planning on adopting kittens from, to meet the kittens themselves and see which of them felt the most comfortable with you.

you told riki you were headed to another schedule and silenced any notifications from him to prevent spoiling anything.

when you arrived at the owners house, you spotted two kittens playing with each other towards the back of the litter.

one a tabby.

the other pure black.

immediately, you wanted to adopt the pair of them. too heartbreaking to separate the seemingly, best of friends. even when you sat down inside of the kitten pen (i don’t know what you actually call it 🤣) the pair came bounding over towards you, and jumped up on your lap, whilst the rest of the kittens were hesitating on the edge of the pen.

the behaviour of the two playful kittens just furthered the need to adopt them for you and riki, when you told the owner that you were going to adopt them, they were elated for you.

whilst they gathered all the paperwork and the basic necessities for the two kittens, you took a series of selcas with them to show to riki after you had taken them both home.

the owner handed you the paperwork for the kittens as well as the carrying crate and sent you on your way home. when you arrived home, you rushed to set up the kittens in your bedroom before texting riki that you had finally gotten home from your schedule.

hearing this news, he rushed to gather his things before heading to your apartment ready to spend his free night with you. he knew the code to your apartment and would just enter it when he finally arrived at your apartment so you quickly got changed in to some comfy clothes for lazing around in and began playing with the two kittens on your bedroom floor.

finally, you hear the chime of your door lock opening, followed by riki’s voice shouting in to the apartment. you replied to his shouts that you were in the bedroom and to come see you.

as he pushed on the door handle, the sound of the mechanism opening, startled the small kittens who cowered in your lap at the sudden noise.

he entered the room and was confused as to see you sat in the middle of the floor, that was until he saw the two little balls of fluff that were peeking out from behind your crossed legs.

he looked between you and the two kittens, almost comedically, a state of confusion visible on his face. that was until he put the pieces of the puzzles together, and came hurtling over to you and the kittens, a look of excitement on his face.

“whose are these kittens? where are they from? are they yours? did you adopt kittens?” riki rambled on in exhilaration, waiting for you to confirm the owners of the kittens.

“they’re ours riki! i adopted them earlier today when i told you i had to go for a schedule!! they don’t have names yet i was waiting until you got here to help me name them!! only if you want to though :(”

Yeah, I skipped two days of studying... Not proud of it at all, but I tried to make up for it today. I still have trouble with accepting that I just cant study properly when I feel like shit. Because there is always this voice of guilt, that whispers to just push through it regardless of your mental/ physical state. One of my goals while starting this blog was to find a way to study sustainably - not neglect life all around for its sake. It really is difficult when you´re part of the stressed-and-obsessed-co, but I´m trying :)

And that´s because of my finals in 3 weeks. Under normal circumstances I would have been done with all my summaries by now, but things aligned the way they did and I hardly even started preparing. That´s where all this stress is coming from. I think I will make a really detailed study plan to not get overwhelmed later, but it will still have to be pretty packed :/ I feel like I´m preparing for war lmaoooo (why is it kinda true tho?). I can´t believe It´s already the second semestertest since starting this blog... It´s the least prepared I have ever been at this point, and I really need to step up my tempo and discipline, so it feels like a new challenge somehow.

On that note: I give up on the nodalchallenge. Well, not necessarily give up, but adjust to my situation. Still, thank you for all the amazing things it has done for me!! But I don´t think I will be able to do daily art anymore. I will still try, but i´ts not my priority rn. and I´m pretty sure there will be days where I´ll not be able to journal. And I just don´t want to feel bad for "failing" this challenge, even if it´s not like that (I just know my brain).

Tomorrow is a free day, and I will do my best to start these 3 weeks of torture exam preperation with a positive mind <3
