Kuroba Kaito was first and foremost an agent of chaos.
According to his mother, he’d been a gremlin since his conception. He kicked up a storm at the drop of his name often enough that Mom started referring to him as “The Offspring”, and when he apparently picked up on that, he gave her such intense cravings for hot sauce and bananas, the feeling was somehow comparable to being held at gun-point. The un-fun, oh-shit-I-fucked-up kind of gunpoint.
By the time he could crawl, he’d made it his life’s mission to tug at every dangling object within reach. Several antiques were lost to the world as a result; and that string of casualties would continue to stretch all throughout his infancy, until Dad finally had the sense to pluck him off the ground and teach him card tricks to distract him from the next shiny object unfortunate enough to catch his eye.
Standing now atop his current perch on the most moonlit rooftop he could locate, Kaito couldn’t help but smile at the memory. He wasn’t nearly old enough at the time to remember the things Mom had told him over last week’s video call, but as with everything his father had left behind, they left a fond impression on Kaito nonetheless.
Even as the reward of yet another hard day’s work—a large oval-shaped aquamarine—cast nothing but a blue reflection over his face, his smile remained. The Robin’s Egg was no Pandora, and Kaito couldn’t deny his slight disappointment at the fact, but if there was anything he’d learned over the past year of immortal-gem-hunting, it was to pause and appreciate the fruits of his efforts, lest he drive himself insane with frustration. So he held his hand’s position and watched the Robin’s Egg come to life under the moon’s loving attention.
As far as gemstones went, this one was tastefully bare. It lacked the fancy lining, chain, or ring that most gems of this caliber adorned, but that only served to accentuate the gem’s ethereal beauty through sheer color alone.
Lady Luck must really love this particular aquamarine, for it to be so naturally blessed.
And speaking of blessings…
“You certainly took long enough,” Kaito mused to feather-light footsteps. “Was the glitter glue too much after all?”
“Shut up, thief,” came the predictably irritated response.

an animation for my wh nightstuck au! I gave the other neighbors an au design aswell :3
short explanation: In this au, the set of welcome home is stuck in the night time. An episode of welcome home ends with the neighbors going to sleep, since the day ends aswell. When the show was pulled from tv, the set never got to see the light of day again, with all characters staying in a deep sleep. Wally however wakes up and finds himself as the only one left awake.
Team Fortress 2 (old hyperfixation) meets Deep Rock Galactic (new hyperfixation)! 😄
To all TF2 fans out there: If you're looking for a great co-op game with funny characters, great gameplay, a fun and welcoming community as well as developers who actually care about their game - try DRG! I promise, it is WORTH it!
And that’s coming from someone who barely ever touches new/unfamiliar games. It’s really that fun! Thanks again, @rottennuggetart! <3

It was marketed at younger buyers who wanted the performance and looks of a muscle car, but had trouble with the higher insurance premiums associated with 455ci-engined cars. The engine was an L74 air-inducted high-compression 350ci (5.7 litre) Rocket V8 engine, fitted with a Quadrajet carburettor producing 310hp
the circus is coming to town, and what a selection of curiosities it has... 🎪
As soon as I saw the posters @amielot drew for the circus in their Horse Girl AU, I knew I had to try my hand at coloring them in! This AU has stolen my entire heart— if you haven't looked through the AU comics yet, DO THAT RIGHT NOW!! THEY'RE EXCELLENT!!
This poster is my colors on @amielot 's drawing, using @aquabluejay 's summoning circle asset in the background :) Insp under the cut—
Colors and textures were greatly inspired by painted circus/carnival posters, especially this one:
