Straw Hats x Fem Gardener S/O platonic fluff HCs! The main reason I request this? FLOWER CROWNS! But also, S/O is good at growing crops and flowers, so she must have a greenhouse on deck to grow fruits, tangerines, vegetables, any medicinal herbs, flowers, anything! So helpful and sweet! And also, FLOWER CROWNS!
Tumblr media
★ WITH A FEM GARDENER CREWMATE! headcanons ★
── featuring. the strawhats.
── cw. f!reader. no pronouns used. platonic. very brief mention of homesickness. not proofread.
── notepad. sigh i love you platonic and domestic hcs of the strawhats. you complete me <333
Tumblr media
never in all of your years did you think you would find yourself gardening on the sea with a group who had come like family to you, a group you couldn't see yourself living without
building your new greenhouse on the deck was a group effort because it was supposed to be a surprise for you
you loved being at sea with the strawhats, you wouldn't trade it for the world. but it didn't stop you from missing home
a spring island somewhere out there, where the love and life are just as plentiful as the beautiful green that covers it
to bring a piece of your home back to you, the strawhats all chip to help make you a greenhouse where you continue your gardening while on the sea. something you never thought you could do
you somehow didn't find out about what they were planning, despite a few of your crewmates being blabbermouths.
after a girl's day in the island port town, you landed on a few days ago with nami and robin, you finally see it.
"surprise!" your crewmates, your family, jumps out all covered in wood chips and paint of all colors. some were covered in more paint than others. you swore your captain was wearing a yellow shirt that day, but with the amount of blue on it, it may as well have been blue.
you love your greenhouse! well, it wasn't just your greenhouse anymore. it was another place for you and your crewmates to spend time together.
it's the perfect place to have early lunches on sunny days and a late dinner on calm and cool nights under warm string lights.
your extensive knowledge of plants and your natural green thumb make you a versatile member of the crew.
on one end of your greenhouse, you were growing medical herbs for chopper's research and medicines. on another side, you made a special place for nami's tangerine trees you helped her take great care of.
on another corner were many vegetables for sanji's amazing dishes. and close by were the sweetest fruits in all of the grand line that would sometimes go missing the next morning
which is why you have decided to start locking up the greenhouse at night.
but who can forget, the flower crowns !!
a small gesture that would have a lasting impact on each of them, all with their own flower that you believed best represented them based on the flowers' meanings and your crew's personalities.
luffy puts his crown around his hat. when the flowers start to die and lose their color, he will become sad and ask you to make another one for him to replace it.
zoro was confused as to what exactly you wanted him to do with it until you motioned for him to put it on his head. it's uhhh...definitely not for him. but you're like a sister to him so if you flash puppy eyes, he'll wear it
sanji finds the crown you made for him adorable. he finds you even more charming for going out of your way to make it for him. he doesn't deserve such gifts from you but he is happy to wear them to make you happy. he preserves them so he can hold onto them forever.
robin definitely helps you make the flower crowns with all those extra pairs of hands that she has. like sanji, robin preserves the flower crowns that you give her. she will take a piece of them and put them in resin to make homemade jewelry from.
jinbei is your favorite to make flower crowns for. with all of his long beautiful hair, you are constantly putting big, colorful flowers in his hair because he sits there and just lets you do it. sometimes he'll even put flowers in your hair. flower pals !!
brook, like jinbei, enjoys it when you put flower crowns and stick flowers in his hair over cups of tea.
usopp pretends that he doesn't want one, but he secretly does. so after he politely declines and you (pretend to) take his word for it and walk away, he's so sad. pls no, give it to him !!
chopper loves making flower crowns with you. he could make them all day. he loves wearing several of them on his antlers, so he can spin, turn, and dance and they flow in the wind.
nami loves extravagant flower crowns. the bigger and more colorful, the better. she will throw little hints that she really wants one made of sunflowers and roses, such as saying how much she really REALLY wants one, and will sigh out loud when she's in front of the flowers. so when you actually surprise her with one, she's so happy she could squeeze the life out of you. you're her favorite for a reason
franky is so gentle with his flower crown. he's terrified that he may accidentally break or bruise the flowers that you worked so hard to put together. he will pull out the tiny yellow hand to put it on or take it off. he is going to make this thing last !!

How to set personal intentions
Tumblr media
Hello friends! I get asked time and time again "what does this herb do?" or "What can I use this crystal for?" Im here to share that there is an easier way than collecting books, dozens of websites, and trying to memorize what everything is and why!
Where do correspondences come from?
Correspondences come from cultural adaptations of a specific tools usefulness! Another aspect is most of these stem from their medicinal uses as well. For example: The idea that calendula is for spiritual healing stems from the idea that many cultures use it for physical healing and it was used as a common cure-all With all that said, no 2 cultures will have the same intentions for the same tool. A crystal of protection in one culture may be a crystals of travel in another. This can get confusing and leads us to a modern day issue of watering down a tools usefulness and intentions. I see so many books that just say "Basil - Money, Luck, Banishing." But dont list why something is that way, where did it come from. I reposted a previous post about the importance of asking why something is, and I think it still holds up to this day. It not only gets your brain flowing, but it helps deepen your craft.
How do I find correspondences then?
First, if you want to take a more general and historic root, look into the history of a tool! If its a herb look at the general medicinal properties and why it can do what it does (Example: Basil is antimicrobial, and therefore healing, in a lot of cultures because of Eugenol, it is able to defend against protozoa and fungus). When it comes to crystals look into where its native too, where it grows, then do a cultural deep dive to explore the original connotations of a crystal. Now: You don't have to follow only this, this is just simply establishing a why.
After you have done all this, or even if you are still researching when you get a tool simply ask it what its for. You may find that your collection of mint is actually for safe travels, and your obsidian cant protect you from entities! This may contradict online sources but that's ok!!! your tools are unique to your space, revel in that! You have an arsenal at your disposal, enjoy that!
How do I ask?
First, grab the tool in between the palm of your hand, sit with it, and then ask "What can you assist me with" or if your about to start a spell "Are you the right tool for this job?" then let the tool speak to you via intuition. You will feel a sharp yes, no, or start to get a sense of what it does. If you are just starting to work on your intuition that's ok too, not only is this exercise great for strengthen that, it can be versatile. Adapt your questions into yes or no answers because our bodies have an easier time starting with that when producing energy.
With all that said I hope you all enjoyed! Keep asking questions and stay curious!

How to Play as Poison Ivy in Pathfinder 2e
Tumblr media
I have wanted to build Poison Ivy in Dungeons and Dragons for a long time, but was always held back. Why? Because there are 14 spells total in Dungeons and Dragons that actually use plants: Druidcraft, Thorn Whip, Entangle, Barkskin, Spike Growth, Plant Growth, Speak with Plants, Grasping Vine, Guardian of Nature, Commune With Nature, Wrath of Nature, Druid Grove, Transport Via Plants, and Wall of Thorns. It's not nothing, but Druids in DnD learn 25 spells, and only 14 actually deal with plants, barely more than half. It never felt sufficient to actually build the character in DnD. But Pathfinder has far better elemental variety, which makes building a character like Poison Ivy far easier.
Tumblr media
ANCESTRY
Dr. Pamela Isley was born a human, but became an ecoterrorist super villain after an accident gave her Chlorokinesis. This power connected Isley to The Green, a metaphysical energy field connecting all plant life in the universe. There are two especially good options for Poison Ivy's Ancestry:
Ardande Human: Poison Ivy is canonically Human. The Ardande Versatile Heritage can be applied to any race. Ardande are those touched by or hailing from the Elemental Plane of Wood, making them related to Genies, much like the Genasi of DnD. Ardande Heritage feats allow Poison Ivy to recover vitality through photosynthesis, resist effects with the Plant, Poison, or Wood trait on top of succeeding against Poisoned effects more easily, speak to trees through the Wood Element language of Muan, leave a path of flowers and vines when she steps or strides which creates difficult terrain, summon a wood elemental, and nature can even form a barrier to protect Poison Ivy from an attack as a reaction.
Thorned Rose Ghoran: The Ghorans are a sentient race of plant beings created by the Archdruid Ghorus during a war between Nex and Geb. Ghorans of the Thorned Rose heritage are beautiful, but hide sharp thorns that harm those who touch them. I also considered the Enchanting Lily Ghoran, whose sweet, flowery aroma makes them Trained in Diplomacy and grants a bonus when they Make an Impression. Ghoran Ancestry feats let Poison Ivy make thorny unarmed attacks, make her thorned fists more deadly and let her use her Wicked Thorns feature more often, create a perfume cloud that can dazzle and blind non-plant creatures, deal poison damage to anyone who touches her, and cast Nature's Reprisal (a 6th level spell) once per hour as an innate spell.
Both Ancestry options make a lot of sense for Poison Ivy, but of the two, I gravitate toward Thorned Rose Ghoran over Ardande Human. In fairness, it is also possible to choose to be an Ardande Ghoran, granting access to both sets of ancestry feats, but this is not the best option as it forces her to Sophie's Choice her best options.
Tumblr media
BACKGROUNDS
Criminal: Poison Ivy has been a notorious supervillain for several years. She becomes trained in Thievery, learns Underworld Lore, and gains the Experienced Smuggler skill feat.
Dendrologist: Dr. Isley gains an in-depth knowledge of trees. She becomes Trained in Survival, learns Plane of Wood Lore, and gains the Terrain Expertise (Forest) skill feat.
Elementally Infused (Wood): With this background, Poison Ivy was exposed to a Planar Breach from the Plane of Wood, becoming infused with Planar magic. She learns Plane of Wood Lore, and gains Root Reading, which she can cast as an Innate Primal spell.
Herbalist: Poison Ivy has studied the healing properties of herbs and plants. She becomes Trained in Nature, learns Herbalism Lore, and gains the Natural Medicine skill feat.
Plant Whisperer: She has a green thumb so potent it borders on a magical understanding of plants. Poison Ivy gains Nature proficiency, Plant Lore, and the Natural Medicine skill feat.
For her background, I'll go with Plant Whisperer. Herbalist also works well, the only real difference between the two is which Lore she's trained in. But as a botanist, Dr. Isley would know a great deal about plants, even if she does also know their medicinal uses. Elementally Infused is just going to give her a spell she's already going to grab, Dendrologist just improves her survival skills in forests, and Criminal has nothing to do with her botanical training.
Tumblr media
FAITH
Any character of any class can choose to worship any deity and don't need to be a Cleric. Ordinarily, I tend to omit this with most characters, but Poison Ivy's reverence for The Green and Mother Nature are definitely devout enough to register as a faith. So, which god would Poison Ivy worship?
The Green Mother: The Eldest Goddess of Carnivorous Plants, Intrigue, and Seduction. Her methodology resembles that of Poison Ivy. Using seduction to manipulate people and lure them into the waiting jaws of her plants. The Green Mother is somewhat popular among Ghoran worshippers.
Gendowyn: The Fey Goddess of the Fangwood Forest, she is a living manifestation and representation of the natural world, not unlike The Green in DC Comics. Her edicts include preserving nature, oppose the agents of Cyth-V'sug, the Demon Lord of Decay and Fungus, destroy blighted fey, make no deal with fiends, and harm no innocents.
The Green Man: The Green Man normally only allows himself to be worshipped by sentient plants such as Leshy and Ghorans, but other races can be accepted as worshippers if they prove themselves as allies to nature and plantlife. The Green Man's edicts include nurturing the growth of nature, the preservation of natural environments, suffer no abuse to nature to go unpunished, do nothing to destroy or tarnish natural spaces, and do no harm to plants except to preserve more plants in the process.
Shumunue: The Elemental Lord of the Plane of Wood, when she found the plane, it was still with silent plantlife. She birthed new life into the plane by creating mimicries of nature out of moving wood. Leaves buzz like bees through the sky as wooden deer gallop between the trees.
Of these four, The Green Mother and the Green Man make the most sense for Poison Ivy to worship. The Green Mother reflects her attitude and desire to feed the world to her plants. While the Green Man better reflects her preservation of nature above all else.
Tumblr media
BUILD OPTIONS
Leaf Order Druid: All Druids swear their fealty to nature, but each Order swears themselves to a different aspect of nature. Druids of the Leaf Order devote themselves to plants, trees, and fungus. And unlike Druids in DnD, Wild Shape is not a Class Feature that Poison Ivy needs to ignore. As a Druid of the Leaf Order, she gains the Leshy Familiar feat, and if she gains an Animal Companion, she can choose a Wood Elemental. At 2nd Level, she can take the Order Explorer feat, which can allow her to take the Animal Companion feat from the Animal Order. All Druids also get to learn either Animal Empathy or Plant Empathy as a free feat for joining the class, and of course she'll choose Plant Empathy.
Wood Impulse Kineticist: A Kineticist does not possess magic or spellcasting, but rather has an innate connection to one of the Elemental Planes, in this case, the Elemental Plane of Wood, which grants Poison Ivy with Chlorokinesis.
Nymph Bloodline Sorcerer: Sorcerers possess innate magic, but unlike Druids who all pull their magic from Nature, a Sorcerer's magic can come from any source. As such, the Sorcerer's spell list is dictated by their Bloodline. Those of the Nymph Bloodline trace their lineage to nature spirits such as Dryads. Sorcerers of the Nymph Bloodline get Granted Spells on top of their chosen spells. They gain Tangle Vine, Charm, Calm, Animal Vision, Vital Beacon, Wave of Despair, Repulsion, Unfettered Pack, Moment of Renewal, and Overwhelming Presence. They also gain three Bloodline Spells: Nymph's Token, Blinding Beauty, and Establish Ward. They can cast any spell as many times as they have spell slots for, and can choose one Signature Spell per spell level. Their Signature Spells can be Heightened freely without needing to be relearned.
Plant Eidolon Summoner: Summoners, like Sorcerers, change their spell list based on the eidolon they can summon, and Plant Summoners use the Primal Spell List. Plant Summoners forge a bond with a Plant Trait creature such as an Arboreal Warden, a Dryad, a Vine Viper, or a Forest Dragon. Their Class Feats focus on evolving their Eidolon into a stronger form, with feats granting their eidolons elemental energy, growing to Large or Hulking size, becoming ridable mounts, gliding or flying, gaining a burrowing or climbing speed, or becoming powerful spellcasters in their own right. Summoners, however, are not full spellcasters. They only get 4 spell slots and 4 spells known. However, these spell slots are always 2 per level, for their two highest spellcasting levels, making them similar to Warlocks in DnD. If their Eidolon takes the Magical Understudy, Magical Adept, and Magical Master evolution feats, it can learn Primal Spells for levels 1-7, making up for their Summoner only getting level 8 and 9 spells. If you also take Share Eidolon Magic, then your Eidolon can cast your Summoner spells, and Poison Ivy can cast the Eidolon's spells, allowing them to share their spell lists and spell slots.
Wilding Steward Witch: Witches gain an esoteric understanding of the mysteries of the universe, and focus their magical abilities through a familiar. While most familiars are animals, Familiar Abilities can give Poison Ivy a Familiar with the Plant or Fungus Trait, the Wood and Elemental traits, a Poison Reservoir, Spellcasting, and can even assist Poison Ivy in criminal activity by Aiding her in Deception and Thievery. Witches also learn 3 lessons. Poison Ivy can study the Lesson of the Elements, the Lesson of Mischief, and the Lesson of Renewal.
Captivator Archetype: Poison Ivy gains access to spells from the Occult Spell List, but only of the Enchantment and Illusion trait. Other feats allow Poison Ivy to Countercharm, sustain captivator spells effortlessly, and cast a 1st level Captiavor spell that takes 2 actions or fewer as a reaction to being attacked. However, before you get too excited, Enchantment does not mean spells like Charm or Dominate. Spells with the Enchantment tag include Dull Ambition, Forced Mercy, Warrior's Regret, and Infectious Ennui.
Familiar Master (Druid, Sorcerer, Witch): If you want to improve your Familiar, taking this archetype will let you augment your familiar further and expand what your familiar is capable of doing.
Geomancer (Forest, Plains, Swamp: Plant): When you cast a spell with a trait that reflects the environment you're in, you gain a boon as a result. Using plant magic in a forest makes enemies Clumsy 1, on the plains it grants Temporary Hit Points equal to the spell's level, and in the swamp, a plant spell deals persistent poison damage equal to half the spell's level with a Fortitude save. At higher levels, Poison Ivy can ignore the terrain she's in to gain the benefits of any 1 terrain that matches the trait of the spell she cast, letting her gain the effects of being in the plains even when fighting in a desert. She can ignore difficult terrain in a terrain type she just drew attunement from, she can draw healing energy from the terrain around her, cast the Commune with Nature ritual spell, create difficult terrain around herself and offset those caught in her difficult terrain, be protected by your attuned terrain type, and cast spells of the terrain type with 1 less action. However, because her spell list is so Plant-focused, fighting anywhere but the Plains, Forests, and Swamps undercuts this archetype, even with the feat that lets her ignore her surroundings.
Herbalist: Makes Poison Ivy better at treating wounds with medicinal herbs and poultices. She can grant her allies buffs based on the herbs she can find in the environment type, and craft Elixirs of Life.
Poisoner: You become adept at crafting and distributing poison to your enemies. Your poisons can gain a longer shelf life, give foes penalties to rolls against your poisons, gain tolerance to your own poisons, and poison two adjacent foes at the same time.
Hag Bloodline Sorcerer (Archetype): The main reason this is being included is because Poison Ivy also has a variety of mind manipulation abilities, and those kinds of spells can be found on the Occult spell list. By taking the Hag Bloodline, Poison Ivy gains access to the Occult Spell List, and can thus take spells like Charm, Command, Enthrall, and Dominate. In order to gain access to high level Occult spells, she has to become Legendary in Occultism.
Tumblr media
DRUID LEAF ORDER
As if there was ever any doubt, Poison Ivy gets her power from nature and is closely connected to plant-life above all else. Unlike Druids in DnD where they have to ignore their Wild Shape feature, each Druid order gets class feats at every level that allows them to stay more on-theme with the element of nature they embody. Thus, choosing the Leaf Order not only grants Ivy access to the Primal Spell list, but her Druid class feats can further expand on her plant-themed abilities.
Tumblr media
HAG BLOODLINE SORCERER (ARCHETYPE):
Outside of her plant powers, the other thing Poison Ivy is known for is her ability to control and manipulate the minds and emotions of others. And no spell list does this better than the Occult Spell List. The Hag Bloodline is just the closest to her nature vibe that can grant her the Occult spell list.
Tumblr media
DRUID SPELLS
C Puff of Poison, Root Reading, Take Root, Tangle Vine, Timber 1 Flourishing Flora, Noxious Vapors, Wall of Shrubs 2 Entangling Flora, Fungal Infestation, Splinter Volley 3 Soothing Blossoms, Stinking Cloud, Wall of Thorns 4 Bursting Bloom, Life-Draining Roots, Petal Storm 5 Mantle of Unwavering Heart, Murderous Vine, Toxic Cloud 6 Nature's Reprisal, Petal Storm(+2), Rose's Thorns 7 Life-Draining Roots(+3), Murderous Vine(+2), Nature's Reprisal(+1) 8 Petal Storm(+4), Pollen Pods, Summon Elemental Herald (Wood) 9 Nature's Enmity, Pollen Pods(+1), Rose's Thorns(+3) 10 Nature Incarnate, Petal Storm(+6)

Taking the Order Explorer feat is optional, as Poison Ivy does not need a Wood Elemental companion. But I included it for those who want her to have one, while trying to ensure her plant magic still took priority.
Tumblr media
FREE ARCHETYPE FEATS
Level 2: Sorcerer Dedication (Hag Bloodline) Level 4: Basic Sorcerer Spellcasting Level 6: Basic Bloodline Spell (Jealous Hex) Level 8: Bloodline Breadth Level 10: Basic Blood Potency (Enhanced Familiar) Level 12: Expert Sorcerer Spellcasting Level 14: Advanced Blood Potency (Ancestral Blood Magic) Level 16: Advanced Blood Potency (Bloodline Resistance) Level 18: Master Sorcerer Spellcasting Level 20: Advanced Blood Potency (Greater Bloodline: You're Mine)
Tumblr media
SUMMON ELEMENTAL (WOOD)
While I did not choose to include Summon Elemental on Poison Ivy's spell list, if you want to summon Wood Elementals, here's the level guide to know what you can summon.
2nd Level: Wood Wisp, Vegetable Lamb, Wood Scamp 3rd Level: Moss Sloth 4th Level: Nursery Crawler 5th Level: Whipping Willow, Living Grove 6th Level: Carved Beast, Pine Pangolin 7th Level: Snapdrake, Painted Stag 8th Level: Elemental Thicket 9th Level: Twins of Rowan 10th Level: N/A
Tumblr media
Conclusion
I am super pleased with how Poison Ivy turned out. She's a perfect blend of everything I expect out of playing as Poison Ivy: she has plant magic, a leshy familiar, an optional wood elemental servant, poison magic, and the ability to brainwash people with charms.

Skills
One of the easiest ways to endear me to a character is to give them a skill (another reason Tiana, Mulan, Esmeralda and Rapunzel are a few of my favorite Disney Heroines, they all have/gain skills that are at least somewhat valuable to the plot and their character development). Ariel too but since everyone in the Disneyverse has an amazing voice it's hard for her to stand out in that way. But I'm not sure why I went on a tangent about Disney heroines when this post is actually about Gen V. For fanfic and meta purposes I've been thinking of what skills the characters should have that don't inherently pertain to being superheroes.
Marie: Medicine. This is a popular one and for a reason. I'd love it if in the coming seasons we see her going even beyond the instincts of her powers to understand how bodies work and how to fix them, and the healing properties of certain drugs, herbs and plants. This would make her powers even more efficient and would come in clutch if she was ever unable to use them for whatever reason. She's already expressed interest in learning CPR (in the funniest way possible), and is generally invested in saving lives rather than merely fighting, so let's see where that goes. Jordan: Music. I'll admit that this was mostly spawned by the shot of a guitar in their room and the fact that listening to music is the first thing we see them doing, but having musical abilities is also considered a plus in Vought world. However, I don't think performing at award shows and telethons is going to make them happy. For Jordan I see playing instruments as something they do as a very personal, stress-relieving activity that they just happen to be very good at. They do open mics out of costume and write melodies in a journal and give their friends little concerts. It's what centers them.
Emma: Sewing, costume design. I headcanon that she makes her own tiny outfits (although they are just as likely doll clothes). After embracing her growth abilities she will probably also have to learn to make giant clothes, or garments with a lot of stretch and versatility. She has a fairly quirky and dynamic sense of fashion so I'd imagine she'd get a lot out of this creatively as well.
Cate: Event planning, hospitality. Cate, with all of her many many flaws, has a very warm and friendly demeanor, and a way of making people feel comfortable. She also has that confident popular girl quality and just wants everyone around her to have a good time. I bet she throws a bitching party.
Sam: Painting, drawing. Sam sees the world in an unconventional way to say the least, and he has a lot of troubles that he could use a peaceful outlet for. The idea of him getting inspiration from his comic books and learning to draw and paint is a solid one in my opinion.
Andre/Luke: Athletics. It's difficult to talk about Andre right now, and Luke left before I got to know him better, but they both have athlete vibes to me. I see Andre being really into a rowdier sport like hockey or soccer, and Luke gravitating more toward something preppy like lacrosse or rowing. But if they were on the same team I think their sport would be baseball.

Loki, the Norse god of mischief, is a complex deity who is associated with fire, chaos, and transformation. While there are no specific herbs that are exclusively associated with Loki in Norse mythology, there are several herbs that may be used to honor or invoke his energies.
Here are a few herbs that are commonly associated with Loki:
Patchouli:
Patchouli is a fragrant herb that is often used in spiritual practices for its grounding and centering properties. It is also associated with love, attraction, and prosperity. Some people may use patchouli in their spiritual practice to connect with the earth element, which is associated with stability and grounding. As Loki is often associated with transformation and chaos, patchouli may be used to help ground and center oneself during times of change.
Mistletoe:
Mistletoe is a plant that has long been associated with magic and mysticism. In Norse mythology, mistletoe was used to kill the god Baldr, and is said to represent both life and death. Some people may use mistletoe in their spiritual practice to connect with the transformative energies of Loki.
Wormwood:
Wormwood is an herb that has long been associated with divination and visionary experiences. It is said to enhance psychic abilities and intuition, and may be used to help facilitate communication with the spirit realm. As Loki is known for his shapeshifting abilities and association with chaos, wormwood may be used to help connect with his transformative energies.
Mugwort: Mugwort is another herb that is associated with divination and visionary experiences. It is said to enhance psychic abilities and intuition, and may be used to help facilitate communication with the spirit realm. Mugwort is also associated with protection and healing. As Loki is a complex deity who is associated with both chaos and transformation, mugwort may be used to help connect with his energies and protect oneself during times of change.
Yarrow:
Yarrow is a common herb used in traditional medicine and magic, and it has a reputation for being versatile and adaptable. Some practitioners may associate yarrow with Loki because of his ability to change shape and adapt to different situations.
Datura:
Datura is a plant with potent psychoactive properties and a long history of use in spiritual and magical contexts. Some practitioners may associate it with Loki because of its potential for inducing altered states of consciousness and causing unpredictable effects.
When working with herbs associated with Loki, it is important to remember that his energies can be unpredictable and chaotic. These herbs should be used with caution and respect, and it may be helpful to set clear intentions before working with them. As with all spiritual practices, it is important to do your own research and work with the herbs that feel most aligned with your personal practice.

The Fragrant Allure of Lavender: A Delight for the Senses
Lavender, with its enchanting aroma and delicate purple blossoms, has captivated hearts and minds for centuries. This beloved herb is more than just a pretty plant – it holds a plethora of uses and benefits that make it a staple in many homes and gardens, including my own.
Known for its calming properties, lavender is used in aromatherapy to promote relaxation and alleviate stress. The mere scent of lavender transports me to a state of tranquility, helping to ease anxiety and induce a restful sleep. Its soothing qualities have made lavender a popular ingredient in essential oils, bath products, and candles. Lavender tea is one of my favorites, and if you're in the market for a really great tea, look no further than Luxmi Lavender Valley Tea.
Tumblr media
Beyond its aromatic charm, lavender boasts a myriad of therapeutic properties. It has been used for centuries in traditional medicine to alleviate headaches, ease muscle tension, and even promote digestion. Its antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties make it a natural remedy for minor skin irritations, insect bites, and burns.
In the culinary world, lavender adds a touch of elegance and a subtle floral note to various dishes and beverages. From lavender-infused desserts to herbal teas, this versatile herb elevates the culinary experience and delights the palate. I'm a fan of lavender ice cream and the classic cocktail "Aviation," though admittedly it's not for everyone.
Lavender's beauty is not limited to its scent and taste. In gardens, it attracts pollinators like bees and butterflies, enhancing biodiversity and promoting a healthy ecosystem. Its vibrant purple blooms create a visual feast for the eyes and bring a sense of serenity to outdoor spaces.

AHHH NEMI IS SO PRETTY AND AWESOME!!!!! I want to know everything about her. what's her favorite color, is she a cat, dog, or dragon person, what's her favorite hobby... hyperventilating rn
Whaa thank you!! Always happy to hear people like Nemi QwQ ♡
I really need and want to do a proper reference sheet of her, with all necessary information. Maybe I can manage to do it over summer.
Fav color probably this (google said it's light indigo but it's very versatile..)
Tumblr media
Next she's more of a bird person but likes animals in general a lot. Dragons are especially close but they're much rarer than the ordinary animal of course.
She likes to read and study magic spells, which goes along with her knack of medicine, especially the herb type of way. (In other words, she likes to find out what wild products can be used for healthcare. She has a little botanic garden where she grows all kinds of plants and creates products from.)
I'm always happy to answer any questions regarding Nemari, my art or any other things <3

I realised that I forgot to post it here:'
Fantasy? Let's dive in!
As a little baby, she was found on the doorstep of a shelter and raised there. The children were well fed, the conditions were good, and the orphanage was run by a woman named Alice and her husband. The children loved them very much because they treated them with warmth. Some time later, when she was 8, during the adoption, when the teacher was taking away the next boy (note: for some reason they always adopted the chubby ones), she noticed that Miss Alice took him to the basement and out of interest the girl followed them. There she found meat machines, body parts ready for packaging, meat grinders, meat grinders with almost finished frankfurters, sausages, etc. The manager’s husband notices her and catches her, after trying to cut her throat, but she twitches and the knife passes through her cheek instead of her neck, leaving a wound , not very deep, but deep enough for a scar from the corner of the lips to the ear. As a result, she escapes, at the same time warning the others and informing them of what happened, everyone scatters in different directions, some of the older ones took the younger ones with them (those who could not survive alone), lives on the streets of the city, steals food, learned to pick locks on doors and quickly stealing from passers-by is considered one of the best thieves. Known as Sky, a quirky boy who loves to tease the pursuers from whom he stole something, and loves gay jokes and the reactions of others to his behavior. Over the course of some time, she finds an abandoned hut in the forest and settles in it, beginning to collect and study herbs. In the city they began to call her a witch and a gypsy, believing that with her arrival, trouble always followed her. They also used to scare children with her, trying to keep them away from the forest. The only one who treated her more or less well was one old healer, whom she began to help, and in return he gave her a book with his notes and medicines, seeing her desire to help people.
As a thief can oftenly make a look that she's def and communicate with people who travel with her with drawings on paper until she'll trust them fully.
Height:155/5'0
Weight:80kg
She still believes that everyone can be good. Phrases that describe this: “Everyone can become a good person if they just try”, “Even in the darkest heart there is a small spark of light. And it takes a lot of effort to achieve it and make a person shine.”She is torn between her child self and her "mother bear" mode. It’s as if three people live in her: The child is naive, rejoicing at every slightest miracle, the mother is worried about everyone and everything and can often automatically begin to act motherly even towards those older than her and become strict when necessary, the grandmother is a calm, peaceful soul, ready giving advice at the right time and thinking deeply about things. She may be scared, but at the most critical moment she will try to use everything she has, and she will easily sacrifice herself to save someone, even if she does not know him. Puts the lives of others above her own.She is kind, shy, but sometimes she can go crazy, she loves jokes and pranks, she is very versatile, her character is chaotic, based on these three categories that I listed above, you never know exactly how she will react at one time or another. She is very sensitive and can either lose her temper or start crying. (Loves musical breaks a lot)

Aloe Vera: The Versatile Wonder Plant Revolutionising Domestic and Commercial Sectors
Tumblr media
Succulent plants like Aloe Vera have long been used for therapeutic and cosmetic purposes, and in recent years, their use has grown significantly in popularity. This herb, which comes from the Arabian Peninsula, has long been valued for its therapeutic qualities. Aloe Vera continues to find many uses because of its many health benefits and adaptability, from the archives of traditional medicine to the shelves of contemporary homes and businesses.
Domestic Use of Aloe Vera
Because of its many advantages, aloe vera has become a household staple in skincare and hair care regimens. Aloe Vera gel is a natural sunburn treatment that acts as a calming salve against the damaging effects of UV rays. Because of its moisturising qualities, it’s a great moisturiser that gives skin hydration and renewal. Similar to this, aloe vera’s antibacterial qualities make it a powerful weapon against dandruff in hair care. It provides a healthy substitute for chemical-laden conditioners, leaving hair manageable, lustrous, and silky. Aloe Vera’s digestive advantages also extend to the domestic sphere, as its juice is praised for its effectiveness in relieving constipation and enhancing gut health.

Commercial Applications of Aloe Vera
Aloe Vera has made a name for itself in the business world by specialising in a number of industries. Because of its hydrating, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial qualities, it is frequently used in skincare and hair care products in the cosmetics industry. Aloe Vera has also been welcomed by the food and beverage industry due to its health benefits, and it is now used in smoothies, health drinks, desserts, and snacks. Using its ability to enhance immunity and aid in digestion, aloe vera is used in over-the-counter drugs and nutritional supplements in the pharmaceutical industry.
Cultivation and Harvesting of Aloe Vera
Aloe vera requires careful attention to detail and particular environmental conditions for cultivation. Dry climates with well-draining soil are good for agriculture; they include sections of Africa, the Mediterranean, and Mexico. Both seed and branch propagation are forms of propagation, and each has advantages of its own. Careful leaf extraction is required during harvesting in order to maintain the integrity of the gel. Sustainability measures are becoming more and more crucial in guaranteeing the long-term sustainability of aloe vera farming.
Processing Aloe Vera
Aloe Vera gel is extracted using a variety of techniques, from mechanical procedures to manual extraction. Freshness and effectiveness of the gel are dependent on preservation methods, which can include chemical additions or natural preservatives. Delivering premium aloe vera products to customers requires careful packaging, including clear containers that highlight freshness and sealable containers that promote hygiene.
Health Benefits of Aloe Vera
Aloe vera has many health advantages, including support for the immune system, digestive health, and skincare. It is a powerful ally in the fight against skin conditions like eczema and acne because of its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory qualities. Due to its calming effects on the gastrointestinal tract, aloe vera helps to promote regularity and lessen stomach symptoms. Its antioxidant qualities also strengthen the immune system, preventing oxidative stress and improving general health.
Risks and Precautions
Aloe Vera has many advantages, but it also has certain hazards. Although they are uncommon, allergic reactions can happen and require sensitivity patch testing. In order to prevent negative consequences, interactions with medications — especially blood thinners — also need to be handled carefully and in conjunction with medical professionals.
Sustainability and Ethical Considerations
The increasing demand for Aloe Vera necessitates the adoption of sustainable farming methods and ethical sourcing. Ensuring the long-term viability of Aloe Vera farming requires addressing environmental factors like water usage and land use patterns. Comparably, fair trade methods — such as paying labourers fairly and obtaining aloe vera ethically — are crucial to encouraging social responsibility in the sector.
Regulatory Framework
The safety and effectiveness of goods containing aloe vera are significantly enhanced by regulatory control. The FDA sets safety guidelines and labelling requirements for the consumption of aloe vera in the United States. Region-specific rules are in place internationally, with the European Union and other authorities enforcing their own set of guidelines to safeguard consumers.
Future Trends in Aloe Vera Use
Tumblr media
Aloe Vera has a bright future ahead of it because to rising demand for natural beauty products that are spurring innovation and growth in the sector. Untapped markets exist for goods containing aloe vera, and ongoing research into new uses for the plant is continuing to reveal its promise in a variety of disciplines. Aloe Vera’s transformation from an age-old cure to a contemporary marvel is evidence of its continuing allure and indisputable effectiveness. Because of its adaptability and health advantages, it may be used both at home and in professional settings, which makes it a useful tool for enhancing general wellbeing. As we persist in investigating its possibilities and adopting eco-friendly methods, aloe vera’s future is bright, indicating a world of well-being for future generations.

Abilities and Skills
Strength
Strength refers to a cat's physical prowess. This Ability dictates the power behind attacks, endurance, and how muscular a cat appears. Warriors who are skilled hunters and fighters often excel in Strength. Though this Ability doesn't necessarily account for precision, it does give cats a bonus in dealing and taking damage.
Intelligence
Intelligence is about a cat’s training and knowledge. This Ability is what delivers good aim, careful thought, and battle strategy. Healers often excel in intellect due to their studies in herbs, and clan history. Intelligent cats have excellent precision, and strive in tackling the unexpected.
Spirit
Spirit is a cat’s insight and willpower. This Ability aids cats in their empathy, instinct, and voice. Stonetellers are proficient in Spirit, as they examine the world from an ethereal and mortal lens. Spiritual cats tend to be better in-tune with their surroundings, and are best at handling high stress situations.
Strength Skills:
Arch
Cats Arch to scare off weaker enemies, or threaten challengers into backing down. The Arch Skill focuses on your cat’s physical intimidation. This can be shown through the iconic arcing pose, fluffing out one’s fur, or simply looming over another with massive presence.
Bite
The bite skill pertains to the power of your cat’s maw. Cats use their fangs to defend against enemies, or deliver life threatening blows. A cat’s Bite doesn't always have to be lethal. Sometimes it can determine their grip or jaw strength.
Climb
The Climb Skill shows how well a cat can traverse up trees, rocky mountain faces, and thin fence posts. Climb is all about a cat’s grip and balance on their paws. This check is best used on precarious terrain, or when a cat wishes to scale up something.
Chase
Cats are known to be quick, they can twist and change direction in the drop of a hat. A cat’s Chase Skill determines how fast and maneuverable it is. Sometimes a cat needs to get away from a threat in time, or rush after a fat juicy mouse. This check is best used in cases of speed, hunting, and evasion.
Swim
The Swim Skill determines how well a cat can handle themselves in water. Most cats find swimming unpleasant, but it can be an invaluable skill. Though swimming may not feel important to a clan cat that doesn’t live near water, the unexpected can still happen. Rivers, flash floods, and other natural disasters could make your cat confront getting wet.
Wrestle
Wrestling is what cats use to initiate a fight. It’s up close and personal brawling between two foes. This is a test of brute strength, the struggle before an explosion of claws and teeth. The Wrestle Skill can help your cat gain the upper paw in a fight, or even pin down an enemy. If a cat’s goal is to fight, they should wrestle first.
Endurance
In some cases cats may be doing strenuous tasks for prolonged periods of time. Or worse, they’ve eaten a dangerous herb. Endurance dictates how well they can handle being put under tough situations. Especially ones that strain them physically.
Tumblr media
Intelligence Skills:
Ponder
The Ponder Skill is used in situations where your cat encounters new and unfamiliar things. This check is best for when a player isn’t sure what to do. Ponder allows a cat to decide what other Skill or action would be appropriate at the moment.
Tradition
The Tradition Skill puts to test how well a cat has been listening to their elders. This Skill is used to identify unique aspects of different Clans or outsiders. Aside from understanding different customs, cats use Tradition to recall old stories and Clan history.
Medicine
The world of Warriors is dangerous, and cats often get hurt. The Medicine Skill helps a cat know what herbs to smell for, or understand how critical someone’s condition is. Through these discoveries a cat can help alleviate pain or prevent death.
Pounce
For cats Pouncing is a versatile skill. This is a calculated maneuver that springs a cat towards any direction they please. The Pounce Skill can be used for leaping over obstacles, jumping up onto high places, striking paws onto prey, or launching into an enemy.
See
Though not the strongest of a cat’s senses, Seeing is a skill cats use to determine new things in their surroundings. Sometimes certain scents or sounds are too old or cleverly disguised. A cat using See can figure out what they can’t detect with their ears or nose.
Swat
Swatting is a Skill that requires precision and a meaningful aim. In a fight a cat may unsheathe their claws to make their paws more dangerous. Swatting isn’t exclusively violent, with claws sheathed a Swat can be used as a warning strike, or to smack something out of the way.
Smell
Smell allows a cat to detect what might be nearby and out of sight. This can also be used to track down different scents and follow the trail. The better a cat’s smell the easier they find it to track down scents that are stale or well hidden.
Tumblr media
Spirit Skills:
Focus
Sometimes cats face challenging or intense situations that may draw away their attention. Feeling ill, scared, or a bad wound may deter a cat from properly completing a Skill. Focus is a cat’s concentration, and their ability to ignore outside influences.
Faith
A cat may ask their ancestors for signs or an answer, the Faith Skill gives them a chance of being answered to. Certain cats have abilities gifted to them by Star Clan or the Dark Forest that could be tapped into through Faith. Other times they are being influenced by forces they wish to push away, or want to recall a detail regarding religious stories.
Hiss
Cats Hiss to intimidate different foes. It serves as a piercing warning sign that whatever wants to tussle, is facing something ferocious. If a cat wishes to speak authoritatively or scare away enemies, Hissing is a good skill to use. In some situations cats may Hiss to warn allies of incoming danger.
Jump
The Jump skill is what allows cats to land on their feet after a long fall, or reactively spring out of the way of danger. During combat jumping is a good way to evade a pouncing cat, or leap away from the jaws of a fox. Jumping is what cats do to get down from high places as well, as pouncing is moreso done for scaling up things.
Speech
Speech determines how well spoken a cat may be. This skill can aid in persuasion, or an attempt to impress those listening. Cats who are particularly cunning use Speech to lie or manipulate others.
Listen
Listening is how cats detect sounds. This comes in handy when tracking another animal, listening for movement while hiding, or trying to detect where a noise is coming from. Listening comes in handy when a cat is hunting, sneaking, or tracking.
Sneak
Being light footed is something cats are particularly skilled at. While Sneaking is used for hunting, cats often face a lot of dangerous situations being smaller animals themselves. Sometimes they’re trying to avoid larger threats, or are attempting a risky maneuver through enemy territory. Stealth is about silence and still calculated movement.

magick ramen
I’m going to share one of my favorite kitchen witch practices . It’s ramen. special ramen.
Like any spell or magickal working, start with your intention. Is this going to be a bowl of abundance ramen? Does it need to be healing, anti-inflammatory, anti-viral? Mood-boosting? Grounding? And what if you want weed infused ramen??
Gather basic ingredients. noodles. A base broth/powder/sauce if you have it, you can use regular ramen sauce packets and add your other ingredients too, the herbs and spices, veggies and mushrooms.
Intentional herbal ingredients
Healing/immune boost:: ginger, turmeric, black pepper, garlic, cayenne/hot peppers/tabasco sauce, astragalus, thyme, any medicinal mushrooms (i love maitake), cumin
Abundance: basil, rosemary, ginger, lemon thyme, lemongrass, oregano, dill, avocado (avocado ramen when it’s perfected is tooo good)
Grounding: any root vegetable such as carrots, Nutritive herbs like Dandelion leaf or root/burdock root, spinach, oregano, basil, parsley, red clover, nettles, raspberry leaf, oatstraw, sesame oil
Mood management: reishi, ashwagandha, lemongrass, lemon balm, basil/holy basil, ginseng
Weed ramen: All you need is a thc infused oil or butter or a dab of concentrate, depending on the potency a little usually goes a long way.
You can also make a non thc herbal butter and oil infusions for the fatty element of the soup. If you’re an egg ramen person don’t forget the egg!
For the salt element you can make an herbal infused salt by simply mixing some salt with an herb or herbs of choice.
Obviously you can apply these intentional ingredients to any meal, ramen is just so easy and versatile and fun to make. If you make your own magic ramen (yes i use magick and magic interchangeably) let me know how the process goes!
