Stupid. Stupid. Stupid.

If there was one word to describe how Percy felt, it was stupid. He'd completely messed things up with you, and now he felt like shit. He was currently having lunch with Jason, Leo and Charles, whilst complaining about his problems to them.

"Dude, whats she saying about me," he asked.

"That your an asshole," Leo said.

"And some other words we don't feel comfortable repeating," Charles added.

"And how did you manage to mess it up that bad," Jason chuckled and Percy just groaned.

"She was drunk, what was I supposed to do??"

"Dude, she's embarrassed. She tried kissing you and you sat there like a deer in headlights," Leo stated like it was the obviously. It kinda was to be fair.

"Well if we want to get technical," Percy held up his finger like he was about to make a point. "We were technically behind the headlights, not in them."

"But if I smacked the shit out of you, suddenly I'm a villain," Leo held his hands up in surrender, and Percy just glared at him.

"Dude, just try apologizing or something," Charles pleaded. At the end of the day, if Percy doesn't make it work with you, then Charles has no Silena.

"Yeah, but um, there's just one more thing I have to take care of then," Percy stood up and walked over to where Luke was sitting with his friends. "Yo, Luke."

He called out and Luke stood up with Percy, moving to speak in private. "Whats up, not here for more money are you?"

"No, the opposite actually," Luke looked at Percy confused. "I don't want you to pay me anymore, I'm done."

"What do you mean you're done?? I haven't taken Silena out yet."

"I don't care, I'm out, do what you want with Silena, but our deal is off. And if she likes you, then your already set anyways," Percy waved off a complaining Luke and went to go find you.

﹒º. ౨ৎ

"Guys are dicks and I hate them," you complained to Piper.

"You just noticed?"

You glared and she just made a face at you. "But seriously, what is his problem??"

"I could probably help you if you ever, you know, told me the problem."

You were kind of embarrassed about it but said it anyways. "It's just, after all these days of trying to take me out, I go in to kiss him and he just sits there?? Like what the hell is that???"

"Weren't you totally wasted? And he like, wasn't?" You slowly nodded. "Don't you realize while you were taking shots on shots he stayed sober and followed you around, and even took you home once he noticed how drunk you got. Of course he didn't kiss you, that'd be, you know, weird??"

You just rolled your eyes. You're a stubborn woman to say the least, so you didn't want to admit she was right. "Whatever."

She chuckled as you both parted ways. You were walking towards the bathroom before class, when you suddenly felt someone pull you by the arm. Before you even had the time to scream you were in janitors closet.

"Who the fuck do you think you are," you turned around and saw Percy standing in front of you. "Oh my fucking god."

You face palmed as Percy started. "Hi."

"What?"

"I'm sorry."

"Really? Because if that's it, I'll be on my way then," you tried to shove him out the way and leave, but he was stronger than he looked. Actually, he did look kind of strong, but that was besides the point.

"I mean it. I didn't want to embarrass you but you were literally wrecked, and I thought you'd hate me if I did anything. Guess either way you would've just hated me or something, I don't know. But look, I'm sorry."

You appreciated the apology, you supposed. "I don't hate you," you said lowly.

"Hmm," you were about to repeat yourself when you saw that smug look on his face, letting you know he definitely did in fact, hear you.

"Don't push your luck, Jackson," you pointed in his face.

"είσαι πολύ όμορφη όταν δεν με θέλεις να πεθάνω, ξέρεις."

"I'll figure out Greek one day, just you wait. I'll find out all the mean things you've been saying to my face," you laughed.

"I'm not insulting you. In fact, I never was."

"Well.. what are you saying then," you asked, and Percy just stared down at you, wondering whether what he was thinking would be a good idea or not. He decided to just stop thinking about it as he held your face and just kissed you.

When he pulled away, all he said was, "Like I said, nothing mean."

He went to walk out but you grabbed his wrist, stopping him from leaving. "Percy.. are you busy later?"

"I may or may not have detention after school," You raised your eyebrow. "I just didn't want to got to math. Shucks."

"Yeah, shucks." It got quiet. "I'll see you later though, right?"

"Right," he smiled, this time letting you through the door. When he followed behind you, he tried ignoring Leo peering out from the end of the hallway as he made his way to class.

﹒º. ౨ৎ

As fast as the school day started, now it was over. Well, not for Percy, who was currently stuck in detention, how fun. Percy was supposed to be writing an essay about why he was in detention and what he could do in the future to prevent him from coming back, but he was just drawing dicks all over his paper, chuckling to himself.

"No noises," the detention supervisor, or soccer coach, shouted out. Percy rolled his eyes, then he heard the door opening, and saw you walking through.

"Hey coach," you greeted as you walked toward the front of the room.

"Sorry Y/N but I'm a little busy," he huffed out as he turned his back towards the class and shuffled through some papers. As he did so, you turned over to Percy, signaling him. to make it over to the window by where the coach was currently facing. Outside the window was a ledge Percy could climb down from, giving him a release from detention. Except you may of whispered to loud, catching the attention of your coach.

"Well, um. I'm just here to talk about some strategies for next game," you said. Thinking of lies on the spot were actually kind of hard.

"And um, what is that?" He was now facing away the window, and Percy was slowly making his way towards it.

"I'm just giving you an idea, something off of what you told us. You know, the diversion plan."

"I taught you that," he questioned as he began to look around the room, but you stopped him by grabbing his face, before he notice Percy, or the lack of Percy.

"Yes you did. Basically we need to be there," you turned his head slightly one way, "Then making the other team turn the other way," you turned his head again and this time letting go.

"And how would we make them turn-" Percy made too much noise when opening the window. "What-"

So you used your last idea, "Like this!" You lifted up your top, no bra. Whoops! Hey, it worked, except Percy almost stopped before coming back to his senses and leaving through the window, finally. "Well, thank you for your time, it was duly appreciated."

You held your head down and laughed as you left the cheering classroom (yes, you have nice boobs, don't even girl), running to catch Percy outside. By the time you reached the front of the school, you were out of breathe. You saw Percy sitting down on the steps as you took a seat next to him.

"Nice 'diversion,'" he joked, caused you to softly punch his arm.

"What? Thinking on the fly is hard."

"S your best idea was to flash your tits to your coach?"

"You know what, if you want to stay here you go do that," you joked as you walked toward your car. Percy just laughed as he followed you.

﹒º. ౨ৎ

"Parlez-vous anglais," Charles read from his book, and Silena repeated back. They were practicing pronunciation as Charles spoke and Silena repeated.

"Est-ce que tu vas un jour me lever et m'inviter à sortir," Silena spoke up, somewhat agitated.

"What," he started flipping through his textbook. "I don't remember reading that."

Silena just rolled her eyes and walked off, leaving behind a very confused Charles.

﹒º. ౨ৎ

'ugh why can't boys take hints'

You laughed at your phone as Silena complained about Charles. Right now you were waiting downstairs in your car while Percy ran up into his apartment to grab a pair of swim trunks. After sneaking him out, you guys spent about an hour an half just driving around, doing nothing in particular. As the sun started to go down, Percy got the idea to eat down by the beach.

You were knocked out of your laughter when Percy banged your window.

"Hey there," he said as he sat back into the passenger seat. You just started driving back to your place for your own swimsuit, thankfully your dad was home to stop you. You grabbed a purple bikini and ran back to your car. "Finally, I'm starving."

"Yeah yeah, slow it down bigback you'll be fine,' you clapped back. You guys made your way to the closest dominos and bought a pepperoni pizza and some cinnamon bread twist (Percy's Treat!!). The smell alone made you want to salivate.

Finally making your way down to the basically empty beach, you laid down a towel as Percy placed the food down. You were both talking and laughing as you watched the sun set into the horizon. You both laid back and watched the sky fade as Percy turned toward you.

"Can I ask you something," he asked.

"Yeah?"

"How come.." he paused, as if trying to find the right words. "you know, you act the way you do?"

"Why I act like this?"

"Not in a bad way of course, but you aren't the friendliest at first, you know. Well yeah you know."

You chuckled, "I don't like doing what people want of me, or expect of me. Being like everyone else is so boring. Why live up to their expectations instead of my own."

"Makes sense, I supposed."

"He supposes," he rolled his eyes and chuckled.

"Can I ask you a question now?"

"Go ahead."

"What happened those eight months you went missing?"

He was quiet and you didn't know if you had taken it too far. "I don't know. Its like I was just asleep and woke up with.."

You tilted your head as he sat up and lifted his shirt. He was covered in scars. "Woke up with these," he finished.

You sat up close to him, and without even realizing it you started tracing them with your fingers. "Sorry, that must've been terrifying."

"Yeah, but it's okay, I guess. Not like I know what happened anyways," he grabbed your hand and held it. You looked up at him, and even in the moonlight, those sea-green eyes still sparked like the sun was beaming. And this time, you were the one who leaned in and kissed him. This really did make up for Friday night, huh.

Who I write for /Rules

Masterlist

I'm new-ish to writing (i used to write fanfiction when i was like 13. i'm 18 now soo..) but I really wanna do it again.

So this is a list of characters/fandoms I write for as well as some rules for asks. Some things may be missing from this list so if you dont see something on this list, feel free to ask. :))

I will add a prompt list to this blog soon but again feel free to request other scenarious. Do add as much detail as you want to a request and please ALWAYS have at least some sort of prompt, as i'm really not good with coming up with storys on my own yet.

I WILL NOT DO SMUT SO DONT REQUEST IT! I might however do spicy stuff (Nothing more than making out tho).

My writing will be for all ages but please still be careful if the fic-warnings include sensitive topics and i might repost some 18+ things so be careful when navigating my blog.

Please be nice and have manners when requesting.

I write both romantic and platonic for all my characters. Although Teen!readers will always be platonic if the character is an adult.

I also write poly relationships. AUs are also totally on the table (big Fan of celebrity AUs).

XXXII: I Ask My Bestie for Advice on the Stupid Thing I Did Already

Ara doesn't know how, but Lily sniffs lies from a mile radius, and it's obvious she didn't buy Ara's story yesterday.

"Remember how you asked me a couple of months ago not to report your absence from camp no questions asked?" She sits next to Connor while the Aphrodite cabin trains.

"You promised to never bring that up!" Connor argues.

"I want you to return the favor," Ara leans one arm on his shoulder. "No questions asked."

"Do I need my kit?"

She shakes her head. "I need you to distract Lily during the campfire."

"Oh. That's all?" Connor sighs heavily. "I'm a man of my word, so you got it, Aracles."

"Stop calling me that."

Ara gets up and Piper approaches with Katoptris in hand. "The others want to know if we can go shower now."

Ara looks at the group over Piper's shoulder. "Go get rid of the smell!"

The demigods quickly abandon the place, but before Piper can leave, Ara grabs her wrist. "I need to have a serious talk with you." She grimaces. "Yikes. No. A fun talk. A... sisters talk?"

Piper tilts her head with amusement. "You'll tell me embarrassing secrets?"

"One embarrassing secret," she squeezes the girl's wrist. "I need to know how you and Jason did it."

Piper blushes. "What?"

"The dating!" Her face flushes. "Oh gods, I suck at this..."

"Wait," the girl blinks. "Are you trying to date someone?"

"Er..."

"Who is it?"

Ara's face gets redder. "Let's talk in my room."

The entire camp is holding its breath.

A couple of miles out to sea, Percy Jackson and Charles Beckendorf will carry out a plan of attack on Luke Castellan's cruise ship. Charles is packing up the necessary materials, and behind him, two girls are waiting. The first is his girlfriend Silena, the second is me.

"Do you have everything?"

"Think so," he nods.

Silena approaches and adjusts his camp shirt. "Everything will be fine."

"I know."

I look away during the exchange, slightly uncomfortable to be witnessing their moment. I hear footsteps, and then the weight of a big hand on my shoulder.

"Birdy," Beckendorf smiles. "I'll tell Percy you say hi."

My brother enjoys spending time away with Rachel, so I haven't seen him in like, a week. I decided to come and help the campers, I wanted to be useful.

In the year since the battle of the labyrinth, I've grown six inches (I'm still shorter than most, though), my sword skills and forging have improved by eighty percent, and I'm visibly stronger. I'm doing well, the problem is my dreams.

I keep seeing weird stuff, Heracles and Achilles's battles, and those memories from my past lives. It feels like they're all connected, somehow.

"Keep an eye on that bronze dragon until I come back, alright?"

"'Kay."

My friend ruffles my hair and hands me a notebook. "If the plan works," he says, "I won't need this anymore, but I want you to keep it."

I'm beyond honored. "I'll take care of it. Good luck."

I follow him and Silena to the pegasus stable and, after greeting Blackjack, I leave the couple.

Piper and Ara are on her bed drinking a six-pack of regular Coke, and Piper's having the time of her life. "You know, I think Leo got too lucky."

Ara's severely flustered. "Don't think so. This is meant to be, my friends always knew I'd end up dating a Cabin Nine camper. They thought it'd be Jake but—" Ara stops midsentence. "I was never interested in dating until now."

"Well yeah, you were a kid before," Piper agrees. "But I heard you've been avoiding love for years. Is that true?"

"No," Ara makes a face. "I was told I couldn't have it, but I'm not so sure. Chiron says it'll be hard to have a normal life, but he never said it was impossible, and even if it was..."

"You and Leo are masters of unlikely," Piper smiles. "That's what you said, right?"

Ara falls back on her bed, hugging her T-Rex. "But I've got no idea of how it's done properly!"

"No one does, just follow your gut and hope for the best."

"My gut is configured to deal with war stuff, not romance," Ara sulks.

"Then do what your mother said and just have fun. Leo can teach you, he's pretty good at that."

"Can I ask you something?" She sits up. "Do you think he likes me, or is he just starstruck?"

Piper tosses her empty can into the trash, landing a solid three-pointer. "I mean, you're pretty, but you also spent a whole week teaching us how to survive in this world. You're strong and you're skilled, I'm certain he likes you."

"Would he date me even if I didn't have all that?"

"Don't ask me, ask him!" Piper shrugs. "Then you'll know."

"Jackson!" Nico hollers from the stairs. "Lily needs you at the bunker!"

"Coming!" She starts to get up, then pauses. "Don't come to my room while I'm not here!"

"Like I want to see your stupid room!" He replies.

Piper stares at her. "Who was that?"

"The son of Hades," Ara leaves the room with Piper. "We used to be friends until he tried to kill my brother."

"Oh."

They get to the bunker and her sister goes to Leo and Jason—mostly just to be with Jason. Ara reaches the workbench Lily tends to use, as soon as she gets there, the dark-haired girl mumbles a question without looking up.

"What is it with you and elf-looking dudes?"

"Wish I knew," Ara nudges her friend's arm. "But also, what is it with you and your elf-looking dude?"

"Nothing."

"Doubt it."

"For the last time," Lily looks up rolling her eyes. "We've known each other for years and we're still just friends, it's obviously one-sided."

"Or you're just cowards. One of these days, Connor's gonna get his shit together and he's going to ask you out, and then you'll have to eat your words."

"You didn't answer my question," Lily points out.

Ara grins. "I don't think it's 'cause they look like elves. Maybe I like guys with a good sense of humor."

Her friend snorts. "Yeah, right."

Ara pauses. Then, she speaks quietly. "I kissed Leo."

"WHAT!" Ara covers the girl's mouth, but the bunker's so loud no one hears her yelling. Lily slaps the hand away. "But why? Perché mi fai questo? Sai che ho bisogno di sapere le cose in anticipo in modo che tutto vada bene—"

"Se ti calmi forse posso spiegarti meglio, civetta!" Ara scolds her. "Listen, I talked to Piper—"

"You told Piper before you told me?" Lily exclaims. "Who else knows, Blackjack?"

"Shut up a minute!" Ara insists. "Piper's a daughter of Aphrodite! If Silena were here..." her voice cracks. "I just needed someone close to Mother."

Lily takes in her reply, blushing a little. "Right. I got carried away, sorry. So... Can I stab Leo if he messes up?"

Ara snorts. "No. I wouldn't even let Percy get tough with him."

"I don't see Percy doing that. Well, more like I never imagined him doing that if Mike had asked you out," Lily mentions.

Once again, it's all well-intentioned and innocent, but Ara can't stand it. "He was different," she faces Lily with a serious expression. "Promise me something."

The girl tilts her head. "I'm listening."

"You'll stop talking about him."

I shoot up the lava wall, my hands and legs knowing by heart where each stepping stone is. I can climb with my eyes closed, with one hand, you name it. I'm the best climber in town.

"Fifty seconds!" Lily shouts proudly.

I seize the rope and descend swiftly, kicking against the wall on each leap. "You know what I think?"

"What?" Lily grins.

"This child of Olympus thing is going to be easy," I jump the last meter and land in front of her. "Woah! Did that look as cool as it felt?"

"You'll destroy your knees if you keep doing that," she responds unimpressed. "But yeah, it looked cool."

"Pff, I'm half-goddess, I'll be fine. I just couldn't wait to see you from up close," I tilt my head. "Occhi benedetti che ti vedono."

My friend stops smiling. "Da quando sai parlare italiano?"

I giggle. "I only learned a few compliments so I can shout them when you walk past," I shrug. "High-quality teasing."

Lily face-palms and I laugh more.

"They're back!" Shouts a camper near us.

We run to where the group of demigods is, and I hear Silena's voice:

"Where is Charlie?"

Time stops. When I see my brother's expression, I know I'll never see Beckendorf again.

"No..."

A pair of arms wrap around my shoulders while Clarisse leads Silena to the big house.

"Ara..." Percy's the one holding me, I did not see him move.

Something's squeezing my lungs. Beckendorf is dead. Percy tells me everything, including that his father saved him. He tells me about the war happening underwater, and how it's time for him to listen to his prophecy.

We look at each other, neither of us is crying. We know this loss is greater than any amount of tears. I hug my brother. "You're okay," when I speak, my voice comes out shaky. "That's enough for now."

I'll avenge my friend, I have a plan and a good reason to make it happen.

"You're getting stronger," Percy speaks hoarsely. "That hug almost breaks me in half."

I know he's lying, but I appreciate it.

Lily and Michael approach me with equally grim expressions. "Bug..."

"I gotta train." I walk past them, and they follow me at a proper distance.

"If you want to take a break..." Lily starts gently.

"Kronos's army doesn't take breaks," I reply, tightly holding the compass in my pocket. "Neither do I."

"What?"

"I need some distance between my past and my future," Ara continues. "I can't drag him along."

"Drag him?" Lily glares at her. "It's only been five months, Ara. He was your best friend—"

"And he's not coming back."

Lily seems even more insulted by this. "You're going to act like you never even—?"

"Hi!" Leo shows up with a huge smile on his face. "Bunker's closing..." The girls look at him with matching scowls, causing him to step back. "Unless... you don't want to go?"

"Doesn't matter what I want," Lily slams shut her notebook. "Ara speaks for all of us."

"Lily—"

"Don't bother."

Ara's glad she asked Connor to distract Lily, cause she'll need company after that. The former Aphrodite leans on the workbench and buries her hands in her hair. There is no way in which she can get her point across without sounding like a jerk, and she's getting tired of enduring anguish so others can feel better.

"What's her problem?" Leo lowers his voice. "You're the General, of course you speak for all of us!"

"Not what she meant..." Ara mutters grumpily.

Leo places a hand on her shoulder. "Hey, if you're not feeling well, we should postpone—"

"No!" Ara looks up, trapping his hand in place.

Leo gulps, he does his best to keep a low tone as he talks to her. "'Kay, not postponing it."

He's pondering whether to leave or stay when Ara speaks again, pushing herself up and glaring at the bunker's entrance. "You know what's annoying? If he hadn't sworn on the Styx, then we wouldn't be in this situation, but she acts like I was the one who caused this—It was his oath!"

Leo just looks at her, knowing she's not expecting a reply.

"If it wasn't for..." Ara wants to stop talking about this. She wants to leave it behind as soon as possible. "I am what I am thanks to my friends, that's all."

"Of course," the boy agrees. "And you love your friends."

Ara locks eyes with him, gaze softening. "You know, Beckendorf cared for this camp, and I bet that he's proud you're carrying on with his legacy."

"I've seen pictures of him," Leo shakes his head. "I'm nothing like the guy."

"All he wanted was to keep us safe, and you found the perfect way to do that. I wouldn't be here if it weren't for you. In more ways than one."

Leo lits up—his soul light, not in flames—and clears his throat, removing his hand from her shoulder. "So why is Lily angry at you?"

"She wants me to look back," Ara answers vaguely. "But I can't, not when it's no longer of use. I've got to keep my eyes ahead."

My friends (Mike, Connor, Travis, Lily, and even Malcolm and Will) take turns to see how I'm doing throughout the day. I lost my mentor and with him any interest in the mortal world, I'll focus on securing the future of the demigods who remain.

I don't say another word for the rest of the afternoon, I pull myself together before facing all of Beckendorf's siblings. When I walk into the forges holding Beckendorf's notebook, no one's actually working. They're all there though, looking lost.

Nyssa spots me at the entrance. "Ara's here."

Hugs are received and I give a few in return. Tears are shared, but once everyone calms down, I show them Beckendorf's notebook. "I know we're not in the mood to think about work," I clear my throat. "But I need you."

"You saved our brother's life a month ago," Nyssa shrugs. "We owe you one, Birdy. You name it."

"I took a quick look at the notebook he left," I turn the pages as I speak. "He had a plan, in case blowing up the Andromeda wasn't enough."

I turn the notebook so they can see Charles's sketches.

"We need tons of these—a full cabin if we can. You think it's doable?"

"Depends," Jake replies. "When do you want them?"

"I need them before the week ends."

Jake and Nyssa look at each other, and then the boy nods. "For Beckendorf."

"For Beckendorf," the group echoes.

I study the drawings, my fingertips grazing the notes like they're some kind of treasure.

"I'll look after them..." I whisper, hoping Beck can hear.

2016. The best year for the Pipers. Not only did they expand their horse training clients, but Annalynn also got her veterinary license.

Annalynn decided to speak with Baylie and Reuben to see if they would let her work with them at their practice. They could focus on the bigger animals and she could help them with the small animals, as well as miscellaneous duties in the office.

Chipper and Baby, as their friends would call them, were happy with their lives as a married couple. But they were missing someone else in their lives. Charles and Annalynn wanted to have their own baby but circumstances didn’t allow them. However, their widowed friend Elizabeth came to the rescue. She offered to be their surrogate.

It wasn’t until they received the call that Elizabeth was going into labor when reality actually hit them. They would soon be parents! Both were scare and excited at the same time. It was a new adventure they would encounter.

Today, their daughter Wynona Rain Piper turned 7. Wynona was buzzing with excitement at the news she had to share with her parents.

“MOOOOOOM!” Wynona runs in from getting dropped off by Alana. “Maaaaaa!”

“In the den baby! How was work?” Annalynn asks her daughter.

Wynona sighs dramatically. “Auntie Lana made me work so much! Had me organize her folders and pens and… and… guess what? We took a nap in her office!”

“Hmm. I see you worked so hard.”

Wynona just giggles. “Yeah! Then we had tacos and pop.”

Annalynn hugs Wynona. “So you liked working with her? Tomorrow do you wanna work with me and Auntiy Lucky or Auntie Whiskey at her clinic?”

“Oh no! I can’t choose!” Wynona falls back on the couch. “Hmm. Can I go with Auntie Milla and help in the bakery?”

“I’ll call her and ask her but yeah I don’t see why not.”

“I wanna learn to make bread so I can make it for you and dad!”

“Did someone say they’re making bread for me?” Charles’ voice comes from the den’s entrance.

Baby and Wynona smile so grandly at hearing Chipper return home from work. They both run to hug attack him.

Chipper happily catches them. “Hello my loves!”

“Dad! Dad! DAD! Guess what!?”

“I qualified! I can start training with the horse to be a barrel racer!”

Charles and Annalynn look at Wynona with huge smiles. “We knew you could do it!”

Wynona is happily shifting from foot to foot. “You knew!?”

“And we got something for you,” Chipper says, walking to the den’s closet and bringing out a box for her.

“What’s in the box?” Wynona asks.

“Open it and see.”

She rips open the box and finds a pink hued lead rope. “For me?”

“Your own horse is in the stables princess.” They all go outside to the stables so that Wynona can meet and start getting used to her horse.

“She’s beautiful! Imma name her Chonky Princess The Fifth!”

Chipper and Baby laugh and watch her with the horse as the two new best friends learn about each other.
