I need a month to recover from the 2+ weeks of torture. #Okay lets talk about the AU and the comic now #Disco elysium has some of the best existential-horror-dream sequences I have ever seen. #The dialogue here is heavily inspired by The Final Dream - A scene I'd love to talk about more were it not so heavy with spoilers. #My AU is a lot more complex than a simple character swap but I really felt like LWJ + YLLZ fit this scene. #The final dream is about being unable to move on from a lost love. From something You made holy. From something You ruined. #It is about realizing that no matter how smart you are or what you offer or how you try to change - #You will never be able to turn back time. You will never ever be able to fix what is broken. That you also have been broken for a long time #You are a fuck-up who worships the nail covered ground of someone who did not want to be holy. And even though it hurts- #You cannot let this nightmare go. The pain keeps the love close. It is worse to forget. You promised to remember. #WWX died thinking LWJ disliked him. LWJ lost someone he thought was revolted by his love.

i don’t know how to articulate it but the doctor asking rose, “how long are you gonna stay with me?” makes me want to break every bone in my body and crush them into dust . here you have the doctor, a near-immortal, asking a question he knows the answer to. he knows any response of rose’s will ring hollow in his reality. two months, ten years, four decades—the numerical value doesn’t matter. the problem with the answer is always going to be that it’s not enough. he knows it, but he asks her anyway because he loves her. he loves her enough to ask.

and rose! beautiful, human rose tells him, “forever” and the doctor smiles so widely that it’s electric. he knows her forever will never be as long as his, but the easy way it fell from her lips…she loves him. she knows she won’t be able to have his forever with him, but she promises her own forever. she gives herself wholly to him. he loves her enough to ask and she loves him enough to answer!!!! isn’t that crazy isn’t it batshit insane to love like this these were literally VOWS!!!!!!

i've said it before on here, but too many people think dogs are starter pets and culturally we've made people think an untrained dog is a totally fine way to treat those animals just because people want a companion but so many dogs have shitty lives because they're not trained properly or exercised properly. if you want a companion but cannot put the time or energy into meeting their needs, get literally any other animal beside a damn dog. in fact, i think society has made getting pets seem way too easy and blasé when pretty much all pets have high social needs and tasks demanded from the owner that most people just do not meet, ever! people have such whatever attitudes towards pets that people put no thought into what taking care of an entirely separate life requires of them, no research done, no care towards a healthy and proper environment, nothing. for like all the pets you can think of, most people take care of them wrong or badly even without meaning to. it's terrible. most people do not deserve pets.

Posting again with a new au, very predictable behavior from me. I’m just gonna put the basics of this au here since it’s quite long (loosely inspired by fics, mainly ‘The Darkening Of Your Soul’ by Maeglin_Yedi if you’ve read it you know exactly what part of this fic I’ve swiped haha )

Basically, after the war and rebuilding, the ministry figures out that Harry is Voldemorts horcrux from Dumbledore’s notes (and his portrait) they come to the conclusion that Harry is a liability and so they arrest him and then execute him.

Due to his being the master of death though, Harry can’t die and instead heads right back to limbo. He has a talk with death about what his options are and decides to dimension hop. (Cause time travel that let’s you affect the future technically isn’t possible in HP and I hate the cursed child so..) he tries to create a better future for himself twice before ending up in the dimension this au actually takes place in. In this universe, Harry Potter died when the curse was shot at him (but it still rebounded for reasons I will explain later) due to this, Harry can’t inhabit the body of a younger him, and so just uses his original body. This time though, he’s doing everything differently, and his plans include getting a certain dark lord to help him. Which should be easy peasy
