God I can't really stand JK anymore.

Everything regarding him went a downhill since 2023. The way he behaved changed a lot.. LIKE A LOT now he's way cockier as if no one in the whole world can top him and he doesn't need to listen to anyone giving even good advises, how he used to present himself and looked changed drastically now he looks like a junkie, how he used to perform changed so much now he doesn't half half the energy or stage presence and doesn't give af about making mistake a ton times while before he used to perform with extreme perfection. He's listening to their PR teams too much like where did I go live when I miss fans went ? Now he's listening to their cheap promo tricks. His work ethics is completely opposite from what BTS was.. he's working with payola king of the whole industry and buying success. Releasing a 100 version and a western collab with some B grade pop artist. The songs he releasing are basically shit now when he used to release magic shop, film out, your eyes tell and still with you kind of gems.

The ONLY thing connecting me to him now is Jimin. There's no way to avoid JK when you are a Jimin stan. But i'm WAITING for the day Jimin finally open his eyes and get out of this toxic relationship so I don't want to put up with him anymore.

You see, your problem is that Jungkook is not Jimin. That's your problem. Half way through your comment, I smiled to myself and I thought well this Anon would certainly love Jimin then if these are the qualities they looking for in an idol. only to get to the end of the Ask to find out you actually do like Jimin💀

That complicates things for me.

Where should I even begin

There's nothing wrong with having a preference. There's nothing wrong with having a bias.

I'm not gonna come for your throat on this.

You prefer Jimin's work ethics and prefer how seriously he takes his public relations, how he puts on effort and that's alright.

BUT YOU DON'T HAVE TO HATE JUNGKOOK just because he's not YOUR PREFERENCE.

If you keep that up you and I gon have a problem.

Do I think Jungkook can take a page or two out of the Jimin idol manual? Sure.

As much as I looove seeing Jungkook live his life on his own terms not giving a fuck what anyone cares- some times, in certain areas I do think he could use that self regulation.

Yet on the other hand, I don't find Jimin's over regulation appealing either. I've ever said his kumbaya persona, caring too much what others think, trying to be perfect, self regulated, evolved, controlling his words, his attention, being overly polite, smiling when he should be cussing people out all in the name of his consciousness of the fact he is an idol really REALLY FRUSTRATES ME.

Jimin struggles with this. The never mind tattoos, the song lyrics yearning for freedom, set me free- where do you think that comes from?

I don't know how we can call ourselves stans and not sense some of these things: the members constantly telling him not to care what people would think, to do whatever he wants,- even Jungkook openly reminding him HE IS AN ADULT and shouldn't care about certain things.

Jungkook is good for Jimin and Jimin is good for Jungkook.

Jimin is the leash and restrain Jungkook needs and Jungkook is the freedom Jimin craves.

Please don't come for jikook I'll paint you and it ain't going to be pretty.

Also remember, this is a human being you are talking about. He is not an alien. He is human just like you. That vitriol and animosity towards him is so not necessary.

I can't help you unhate him.

But please, be a good human.

He is a relatively young man navigating overwhelming situations. I personally think going solo has taught him so much and there is much more he'd learn along the way.

And please, it's slander to say he half ass his performance- have you seen his tiktok? THE THIBGS HE CAN DO WITH HIS WAIST- MY GOD!

Oh and did you see Tae's smoke challenge? I may or may not be addicted to the part he wines his waist- lolay lolay lolay

Liste, the point I'm making here is, It's his journey and his choice to decide the type of idol he wants to be. You may like it or you may not. That's a you problem. However he's responsible for his own reputation and his own success in the industry and I think he is still learning to hone his values and filter his choices through those values.

Give that man a break .

Bonded - Dean Winchester x Reader

Summary: Soulmate AU where you can feel your soulmate's emotions. When you meet, usually their name appears on your wrist.

A/N: This is my first written piece on here, so any feedback is appreciated/welcomed! It was kind of rushed so not my best work lol. I'm not sure if I want a second part to this or not, so let me know if you'd like to see a continuation. I also would love requests for anything Dean, Chris Evans characters, or Sebastian Stan characters! It can be blurbs, drabbles, or longer! Oh, also I imagine Dean being around 28/29 here while reader is approaching 25.

Something was wrong. You knew as soon as your eyes flew open that you weren’t going back to bed anytime soon. Your hand was placed on your chest, heart beating increasingly faster as you laid in the dark. You tried to think back. Were you having a bad dream? No. This must be him. It happened more frequently than you’d like. You’d wake up in the middle of the night, heart pounding and palms sweating. Each time you could feel it, the danger. He was in danger. You just knew it. 

You wondered what he did for a living that would cause him to land himself in such terrifying situations so often. Was he in the military? Maybe he was an adrenaline junky or a storm chaser? Whatever it was, you found yourself silently praying that he survived whatever was causing his fight or flight response to trigger once again.

Swinging your legs off the side of the bed, your feet hit the cool hardwood floors and cause you to shiver. You take a deep breath, forcing yourself to stand and get out of bed to wander into the kitchen. You weren’t exactly sure if he felt your emotions too or not. How could you know if you haven't met him yet? There were times like now that you hoped desperately that he could. Maybe, just maybe, he could feel you trying to calm him in whatever capacity that you could. Sometimes that meant making chamomile tea and reading a book to try and lower his stress response or sometimes it meant a hot shower to relax the intense muscles you felt in your body from him. 

There were other times, however, that you hoped he really couldn’t feel your emotions the way you could feel his. He seemed to already have enough on his plate, with the intense nights and at times what could only be described as heartache. You didn’t know what he was going through, but you knew you didn’t want to add your baggage to it. 

So, when you cried at work the other day, you dried your eyes as quickly as possible, not wanting to burden him if he felt the same heaviness in his chest as you did. It was the same situation at home, though. You tried your hardest not to give into the depths of your lonely despair. After all, most of your friends had already found their soulmate, but yours seemed to be nowhere to be found. There were times that the only way to drown out the hurt was to just stay disconnected. When you weren’t actively trying to calm your mystery man, you tried your best to ignore him. 

You didn’t want to get your hopes up. There were plenty of people in this world who never met their soulmate, and they were left to live a life without them. You’d actually witnessed your friend’s first interaction with her soulmate. 

When you two were back at college, she was a barista at your local coffee shop, while you were a research assistant for one of your professors. You kept completely different hours, which is why on that particular day, you decided to hang out with her in the coffee shop to spend some more time with her, even if you were just studying at one of the tables. She had been anxious all morning, and you knew it wasn’t her emotions that she was feeling. She was a naturally confident person, never second guessing herself, but that morning she was a frenzied mess. She even told you herself that it felt like it was her soulmate and not her own emotions. 

After she had wiped down the tables for the billionth time that morning, a gangly and somewhat dorky guy came rushing into the shop. You could practically feel the anxiety buzzing from him as soon as he came in, pushing his dark framed glasses up his nose and clumsily slipping on the newly mopped floors. There was a loud smack, and the next thing you knew you watched as your friend reached her hand out to help the guy sit up. What really took your attention was the groaning that came from both parties. You watched them both wince in pain, looking down as they watched each other's names etch into the other’s wrist at the same time. It was like the world clicked into place for them both at that very moment. 

It turned out, Luke was a law school student, cramming for a very important exam that morning. His naturally anxious personality was quite the opposite of your friend’s, but they seemed to work together in harmony. 

Fast forward and they were still the picture perfect couple. He doted on her more than any man you’d ever seen, and she was head over heels for her nerdy guy. It was sweet, but you hated to admit how hard it was to be around them. You were happy for them both, but it stung to know that you were getting closer to the Age of Choice than you wanted to be. In a mere 8 months you’d be free to make a decision you never wanted to make.

Age 25 meant you were at what was called the “Age of Choice.” You could choose whether or not you wanted to marry your soulmate. If you hadn’t met them by 25, you had the right to choose someone else. You didn’t have to wait any longer to marry someone else, and somehow that hurt worse than not having met your soulmate. What if he had already reached the Age of Choice and he had already decided on someone else? The thought gripped your chest harder than you would like to admit. 

All of these thoughts ran through your mind as you made your tea in the kitchen, reliving your friend’s soulmate encounter and your fear for the future. You ran on autopilot as you thought about all of these things, finally making your way to the couch to perform your calm down ritual for your soulmate. It took all of about 90 minutes to feel like you had completely settled his nerves. By the time you had realized he had calmed down, you had fallen asleep on the couch.

This time your eyes flew open for a different reason. The loud blaring of your alarm was unwelcomed by your lack of sleep as you wandered back to your bed to turn it off. It was times like this you were glad you had a studio apartment. 

The morning seemed to get away from you. This time it was your turn to be the anxious party. You really couldn’t afford to be late to work this morning. Your boss had scheduled a very important meeting 15 minutes after the workday began and a day filled with projects that need to be completed “ASAP” as your boss would like to say. 

As soon as you entered the office, the atmosphere was different than any other day. You could feel it. Everyone seemed to be stiff and uncomfortable. You didn’t understand until two men turned around at the front desk. 

“You must be Miss Y/L/N?” the tallest one asks as your brows furrow. You didn’t recognize either of the two men, but you studied them as quickly as you could. 

“That’s me. Can I ask who you are?” you questioned, trying to be polite, but not wanting to deal with anything else this morning that you didn’t have to.

“I’m agent Smith and this is agent Jones, we are here to ask you a few questions about your boss,” the shorter of the two answered, reaching out and grabbing your hand.

You hiss and your eyes burn with tears as you look into his green ones, shock filling your body as you yank your hand away from his. Looking down, you see the name “Dean” etching itself into your wrist. Your hands shake as you look up at the tall man, confusion covering your face when you don’t see your name on his wrist. 

He groans, hand gripping his chest. He pulls at the buttons, looking down and seeing your name written right over his heart and underneath another strange looking tattoo. Your mouth falls open as your eyes widen, swallowing thickly. 

“Well, sweetheart, looks like we’re not only soulmates, we’re bonded. And we need to have a conversation,” you hear ‘Dean’ say gruffly, a smirk dancing on his lips.

Matthew Tkachuk put the world on notice this past season when he helped lead the underdog Florida Panthers to the Stanley Cup Final. The 25-year-old superstar is now widely considered as one of the premier players in the NHL.

Tkachuk’s journey and path into professional hockey all began in Arizona.

On Dec. 11, 1997, Tkachuk was born in Scottsdale Arizona just over a year after his father Keith Tkachuk started playing for the Phoenix Coyotes, a newly established franchise at the time.

Matthew spent his early childhood years in Arizona as Keith played for the Coyotes from 1996-2001. It was there where Matthew believes his love for the game of hockey was truly brought to life.

“I’m sure that’s where I first started to love the game,” Matthew said in 2016 Via The Arizona Republic. “Obviously, you have a special place for that.”

Even at a young age, Matthew was always a hockey junky.

“He would watch the highlights at 3 years old,” said Coyotes head equipment manager Stan Wilson back in 2016. “When my wife would be babysitting him, they’d play hockey. He’d stand there and make her sing the national anthem. He’s been a hockey nut his whole life, that’s for sure.”

It's pretty hard to imagine but Matthew used to wear the Coyotes uniform with excitement as he started to understand hockey at a deeper level back when Keith used to play in the Valley.

“It was more of a thrill for me to see him than him really recognizing what was going on,” Keith said in 2016. “He had his tight little Coyotes jersey on, which was funny because he was a bigger baby. So it was awesome. It was a lot of fun.”

Now Matthew is one of the most feared players in the NHL playing a hard nose, ferocious type game. He is coming off his best statistical season where he had 40 goals, 69 assists and 109 points in 79 games.

Matthew plays the game with a passion that not very few players have. That rare type of passion and drive for hockey all started in Arizona.

MHA FIC REC LIST

Because apparently this is a thing that people do; so, I’m going to list the best fics I’ve ever read as well as why, exactly, you should read them. It’s a very varied collection, but you’ll find a lot of dimension/time travel, as well as Todoroki-family centric fics here.

Dragonborne — Ojiro/Shinsou. Set in an AU where Ojiro’s quirk isn’t just Tail, but something insane and awesome, actually. This fic has incredible writing and a very compelling plot that gets PERFECT around the middle of the story; if you are someone who likes either Ojiro or Shinsou for no good reason, this is the fic focusing on them that you’ve been looking for. 125k, complete.

Mild-Mannered School Teacher/Adrenaline-Junkie Vigilante — Fuyumi/Miruko. Fuyumi becomes a vigilante and runs around vigilanting with Dabi, without realizing who he is; she gets a girlfriend along the way. Check this one out for a peak f/f ship and lots of Todoroki drama; funny and emotional at the same time. 136k, complete.

Back To Me — no ship. A story about Kurogiri finding Shirakumo, or maybe about Shirakumo finding Kurogiri. Either way, it’s a rollercoaster; mental conflict abounds as the man of mist tries to figure out who he is, and villain-hero conflicts aren’t exactly making doing so easy. 214k, in progress.

Quirked — Erasermic. Izuku travels to a parallel dimension where no quirks exist, and manages to bring a quirk along with him. Despite not having had one before. What else to do than to become a hero? This is the vigilante Izuku story to surpass ALL vigilante Izuku stories, full of fresh and interesting ideas as well as a carefully evolving plot. 133k, in progress.

Cracked Glass — no ship. Essentially a Promised Neverland AU, but it takes place in a dimension parallel to canon; when said dimension collides with canon, it begins the first chapter of a brilliant disaster. Ojiro stans, this is another fic just for you. If you’re not an Ojiro stan, read this anyway and become one. 192k, marked incomplete, but it more or less is finished.

Dermabrasion — Dabihawks. This is a world where Shouto goes looking for Touya, and wouldn’t you believe it, he finds him! Naruto is vaguely involved. No, that wasn’t a typo of Natsuo. SO MANY GOOD TODOFAM FEELS. God, this fic is excellent; really explores the dynamics of everyone in the family in wonderful detail. Yes, everyone. All the Todorokis get screentime here. 410k, complete.

make this feel like home — Tododeku. A story about the three younger Todoroki siblings trying to get along over the holidays; eventually, they drag the oldest brother in too. Short but sweet, funny, and hits you right in the heart. 26k, complete.

Cair Parallel — Shinsou/Kaminari. If you don’t ship them (as I do not) you can simply ignore that part; and it is beyond worth it, for this fic’s magnificent story. It’s gotta be one of the most creative things I’ve ever read. Modern no-quirks AU, but the gang plays dungeons and dragons; so many varied character arcs, all developing with an equal amount of focus, and so much humor alongside the complex relationships. If you’re of the opinion that Iida needs more fics where he’s a main character, well, I am too, so come check this out. 590k, complete.

Artificial Parenthood, Affectionate Brotherhood — no ship. If you read only a single fic on this rec list, read this one. It’s metaphorically every single chaotic Dabi-gets-deaged fic you’ve ever read, but combined into a vaguely coherent narrative that’s glued together by innovative word usage, that good old Todoroki angst, and Bakugou. There’s also time travel. There are so many thoughts in this story, and they’re all condensed tighter than a steel rope. I can read this again and again and again, and I still don’t know if I’ve found everything this has managed to express. Probably not. If I had to say the story was focused on anything, I’d say Dabi, Bakugou, and the escalating terror of existence. 208k, in progress. (the other fics in the series are worth a look, too.)

The World Ended Before It Could Begin (Time Doesn’t Heal All Wounds) — no ship. Shinsou time travels back from the Nomu apocalypse to save the world, and runs directly into a pre-Dabi Touya. Events proceed with a lot of confusion from there as Shinsou tries his best while trying not to rope his friends into danger as well (he does not succeed) and with no intention of gaining a family (he gets one anyway.) Lots of family feels and humor here; Touya goes undercover as Dabi at one point, which is hilarious. Also: duck feet. 72k, complete.

Lost In The Darkness — no ship. Shigaraki kidnaps Bakugou at Kamino, but instead of the events we all know, there’s an earthquake, and they both fall in a pit and die. Okay, they don’t die. They do become besties, though; a hero-villain team up that’s determined to change the world and recruit each other to their respective sides, Bakugou and Shigaraki are like a pinball machine that wrecks everything else around themselves for the better. The League attempts redemption, Midoriya and Kirishima try their best, and the Todoroki brothers get dragged into the situation one after the other. If one thing’s clear, it’s that no one’s life will ever be the same again. 394k, one chapter left.

Ignite to the Call — no ship. The dimension travel is premium here, my friends. A group of UA students wake up in a world that’s both similar and different to their own; where reality could have gone, if one thing had changed. What is that one thing? Surprise, no one knows! Featuring Izuku as Shigaraki’s little brother, Dabi as a guy who wants to know why Shouto froze him in an iceblock, a collection of teenage runaways and dangerous animals, one or quite possibly two ghosts, A Great Escape Plan, and copious amounts of kidnapping. 600k, in progress.

Bakugou Bewitched — no ship. I can think of no better way to describe this fic than the term Platonic Bakudeku; the friendship is strong in this one. In summary, Bakugou is inflicted with the curse of obedience from Ella Enchanted. (I’ve never watched Ella Enchanted.) It makes his life increasing flavors of difficult, and the relationship between him and Midoriya is the most twisted spiked thing, and also stronger than the hardest steel. These two are inseparable—to Bakugou’s great distress. If you want a fic that treats the Bakugou-Izuku relationship like the insane shard of intensity that it is without once touching the line of romantic, this is the one. There’s also lots of neat Bakugou family content, which I don’t see often. 155k, complete.

sunshine in the library — Shinsou/Izuku. A vampire AU with the most beautiful feels, this fic is coming for your heart, and dragging a new OTP along with it. The plot is best described as a bundle of awesomeness with Shindeku the main and magnificent focus. Featuring: Izuku as a guy way in over his head, Shinsou as the brooding vampire who needs some light in his life, and Iida and Uraraka as vampire hunters who are rather unhelpfully misguided. They’re trying their best. The plot that’s planned out for this fic is fifty two forms of brilliant, and I can’t wait to read it all. 46k, in progress.

Where your love has always been enough (for me) — Enji/Rei. Endeavor time travels after his death to twenty years in the past; to a time before he broke his family. He doesn’t break it this time. Endeavor redemption arc, and a Todoroki family where only the father holds the weight of what he had once done. Where sometimes there’s a second chance. I dunno, but maybe the Todorokis need a little less angst inflicted on them, every now and then, and positive emotions, instead. You’ll definitely feel positive emotions reading this. 160k, in progress.

This Is Why We Have The Rules — no ship. Kirishima makes an entire chapter worth of accidental innuendos, Iida almost becomes the overlord of UA out of sheer exasperation plus a lack of sleep, and Ojiro is the only normal student in class 1A. That’s it, that’s the fic, and it’s one of the funniest things I have read in my entire life. 8k, in progress.

Soulmates and Wormholes — Kiribaku, Tododeku. It’s a modern AU featuring the well-loved soulmates trope; but with a twist, and that twist is parallel universes. This fic is consistently hilarious throughout and tells a compelling story that only gets more and more interesting every chapter, and I cannot wait to see where it’s going. It’s excellent. 76k, in progress.

I love how feyre outright states that she wants to settle and learn to paint and "set down that savage, wild part of me that had only survived hour to hour" for Tamlin to then get shat on cause he wanted to give feryre the life she wanted...

I was talking about something similar here and here and here. As a big disclaimer for this post, it is WRONG for Tamlin to coddle and confine and control Feyre against her will in ACOMAF. I am not going to argue against that, because it is clearly wrong. What I will discuss is that it makes no sense for being coddled and whatnot to make Feyre feel like she's "drowning" and to be what triggers and compounds her trauma in the first place. It's a critique of the writing, not Feyre herself. With that disclaimer out of the way, let's begin.

Firstly: While Tamlin DOES NOT, as I've outlined in the first post, fall for Feyre because he sees someone dainty and feminine he can protect and provide for, you're correct that Feyre does explicitly want that type of life. @katymckateface pointed out that ACOMAF tries to retcon this and turn her into an adrenalin junkie and that it makes no sense, and I agreed, in particular because of what I wrote about how terribly Feyre's trauma is written (see the third link above). But we'll discuss trauma in a minute. For now, let's focus on ACOTAR 1. Feyre is her family's provider, the 'man of the house' as it were, so she's naturally tired. She doesn't want to be responsible for caring for others, wants to be able to enjoy life for herself and have someone else take care of her. This makes her suddenly hating this idea in ACOMAF very... strange. The book tries to argue that it's because of her trauma that she changes, but that excuse just doesn't work for me.

Secondly: About Feyre's trauma. The way Feyre's trauma is written makes no sense. After dying... shouldn't that have made her more scared of doing things? Of getting hurt? Of dying again? Logically, it makes no sense for her to desire danger and desire going on missions, when being in danger last time, and killing people in particular, is the main source of her trauma; and it makes no sense that being coddled and protected makes her feel overwhelmed like she's "drowning." Again, this is a critique of the writing, not with Feyre herself. I just don't know why it never occurred to Sarah that almost being killed and being forced to murder others traumatized Feyre UTM, so it makes no sense that going on dangerous missions where she's almost killed and murdering others heals her in ACOMAF. I do wonder if her original arc in ACOTAR 2 was about her withdrawing from the world and wasting away because she's so traumatized, and Tamlin, her family, and any new friends she makes were the ones who helped her out of that. If her original arc was that fear of death shouldn't keep her from enjoying life; that maybe she was originally going to learn to live, laugh, and love in spite of how dangerous the world is. At any rate, we live in the timeline where ACOMAF was published so we'll sadly never know. Anyway... The fact that going on life-threatening missions and doing dangerous shit in general is what Feyre finds healing as opposed to like. Living the soft life or whatever is interesting as she's apparently about to get this "soft life" anyway in ACOSF. As I said in my second linked post, do the stans actually like her arc in ACOMAF, or do they like that it's what Rhysand wants Feyre to be at the time, which is why when he wants her to play housewife they're fine with her throwing all her goals and desires and political aspirations from ACOMAF under the bus? And if, again, getting that life was "overwhelming" to her in ACOMAF and it made her trauma worse, shouldn't she also find this traumatizing now in and post ACOSF? Why wasn't Rhysand's overbearing nature and incessant coddling during her pregnancy to the point of putting her in a freaking shield triggering? And now post ACOSF, if being coddled and taken care of triggers her, how is she going to heal from the reproductive trauma she endured at the end of the book? Unless Sarah does a u-turn again in the future and decides that actually Feyre does find being coddled and whatnot healing. In which case I give up.

Thirdly and finally: again, the main issue with Tamlin is that he forces these things on Feyre without it being her choice to do so. He was rightfully called out for it, and I don't want anyone to think otherwise. But it doesn't change how bizarre it is that Feyre's character flips between wanting and loathing that life, seemingly for no reason other than the convenience of the plot, sadly doing a real disservice to the discussions of trauma these books attempt to have.

The Prom

Pairing: Eddie Munson x f!Reader

Summary: Eddie decides to take you to the prom...but all that glitters is not gold.

Warnings: swearing, fluff

"You sure you wanna to do this?"

The question springs spontaneously from your mouth as soon as you feel Eddie’s hand hold yours a little tighter. A light breeze caresses the skin on your bare shoulders while you and Eddie stand in front of the Hawkins' gym entrance, the music from the inside feels loud and as you turn to him for a moment, clearly seeing the anxiety on his face take over.

With patience, you wait for him to give you his answer. If he were to tell you he’s not up for it, you wouldn’t think twice about turning around and going back to his trailer.

Eddie looks at the door a little more and then sighs, turning to you with one of his smiles.

"I am."

You know he’s doing it for you. You know Eddie doesn’t give a shit about this kind of thing, that he’d rather lock himself in his bedroom playing his guitar or start a new D&D campaign or...well, he’d probably rather do anything more than this. But when he saw you wearing that dress for the first time, when he saw that smile spreading on your face already dreaming about this special night...he couldn’t say no to you.

You smile back at him and start walking towards the door. The music gets louder and louder and, when the doors open, you are both hit by a good scent of vanilla and freshly picked flowers, the gym is decorated with lots of balloons and garlands and a disco ball in the middle reflects thousands of little lights all around. Nancy must be behind this. She has always loved doing this kind of thing.

You look around for a moment and despite the loud music you have the feeling that from the moment you two crossed the threshold the decibels are lowered and all eyes are on you. Fortunately seeing Dustin run towards you with his contagious smile loosens your thoughts.

"Hey, you guys came!"

"Who’d have thought, Henderson?" Eddie reply beetween his teeth. Dustin’s gaze lingers on you as he smiles amiably.

"You look beautiful tonight!"

"Thank you," you say "you look great in this new hairdo. Harrington will be so jealous!"

Dustin smiles shyly. "If you’ll excuse me now I have to do something..." and turning slowly he settles his hair with his gaze pointing straight at a girl sitting alone at a table.

"We got to give it to him, that kid got guts." Eddie says as he watches him walk away, then looks down on your face and smiles at you again, doing everything in his power to pretend to feel comfortable. You know him too well.

"It’s not that bad, is it?"

Eddie casually looks around.

"Not that bad, actually..." and suddenly he bows before you, extending his hand. "Ma'am, may I have this dance?"

You’ve always loved this theatrical side of him.

"With pleasure, sir." and smiling you extend your hand to him, taking his and letting him bring your body closer. You never imagined becoming prom queen, that’s not what matters. You and Eddie stay out of sight, where the spotlight lights don’t come along but the small reflections of the disco ball draw on your skin. His hands lean gently but firmly on your hips while your eyes are lost in his gaze, so sweet into yours. Your arms are on his shoulders as your bodies move slowly and a bit awkwardly to the rhythm of a romantic ballad. Losing yourself in the sweet features of his face and then in his dark eyes, you’re sure to have a stupid face right now. You think you’ve never been happier.

"I’ve never seen anything more beautiful than you, baby." he says with a smile and in his eyes you can read that he's telling the truth. As you feel your cheeks get warmer, his hand caress your back gently and you cannot help but look at his lips, those full, beautiful lips that are slowly approaching yours...

"Look who it is, ya'll! Munson!"

The voice comes from afar but immediately reaches your ear like an arrow.

"Hey you, junkie! Didn't know the circus was in town!"

Jason fucking Carver. He's standing in a corner surrounded by his stupid friends chuckling and looking your way, making almost all the other students turn towards you two as if you were the main attraction of the night. Not even your eyes trying to incinerate him can get that obnoxious smile off his stupid face.

"They never get tired."

As you caress the back of Eddie's hand with your thumb trying to calm him down, his big dark eyes remain low for the first time tonight.

"Don't mind him. He's just an asshole."

He slowly withdraws from your embrace, taking a small step back.

"I think I’ll just go get some air or...smoke, right outside the gates of hell." he answers then with a fake air of ease, kissing the back of your hand.

"I'll get something to drink and join you, ok?"

Eddie smiles and then turns, walking to that door that is the only way to escape from this cage.

You start blaming yourself. You were so excited to go to prom with the guy you love, with Eddie...but now you feel like you let your selfishness prevail without thinking about how he might feel. Now you just want to get some punch, go home and make it up to him.

"Look at what the cat dragged in."

You don’t even need to turn around to see who’s talking to you.

"What do you want, Carver?"

"I was wondering...-" he whispers as approaches you.

"Just leave me alone."

"Hey, c'mon..."

When Jason’s hand grabs your wrist, you freeze. He doesn’t do it violently, but you’re not used to anyone else’s touch on you except Eddie’s.

"I don’t know why you decided to show up here with that freak tonight, but please-"

"Don't call him that."

With a strong shake you withdraw from his grip and after an instant an arm surrounds your shoulders. You immediately feel calm smelling that unmistakable scent of cologne and cigarette surrounding you.

Eddie dangerously approaches his face to Jason’s, with a mocking smile that leaves no escape.

"Listen carefully, wonder boy. Touch her again and I swear to God I'll give you a real reason to call me 'freak'. Am I clear, little prince?"

That smirk. Definitely one of the things that made you fall for him. Before Jason can say or do anything you take Eddie’s hand, gently.

"Babe, it's not worth it. Let's go" and making your way among the other students you reach the exit.

The air outside is getting colder.

Eddie walks in front of you, his step is fast as he tries to let his anger go.

"I'm sorry..."

"Don't be, I'm pretty used to this kind of shit" he answers you without even looking back.

"We didn’t mean to ruin your night, Munson!" Jason’s voice chases you as he's opening the door just behind. You join Eddie a little further taking his hand again, leaving the gym and the prom dream behind.

"Yes, that screwball is what you deserve. A fucking psycho living in a trailer!"

Without a second thought you turn your head and looking at that stupid face you scream the first thing that comes to mind.

"Shut the fuck up, Carver!"

You two keep walking when Eddie suddenly turns back swapping hands, raises his middle finger and pulls out the tongue in a revenge grimace as you can’t help but let go of a chuckle. This is your man and this is the reason you love him so much. Out of the corner of your eye you can see Jason’s expression as he shakes his head and decides to go back to the gym, finally shut down.

Eddie's hand never leaves yours as you make your way to the van that his uncle allowed him to use on this special evening.

The journey to his trailer park is short. You get out of the car with a little hop, climb the steps of his trailer and smile while Eddie holds the door open.

"After you."

He closes the door behind and you’ve never been happier being there.

"My uncle will be out of town for a few days, so...hang on a sec" Eddie tells you as he disappears into his room, leaving you a little confused on the edge of the door. You look around and try to figure out what he’s doing, hearing him rummage through his things.

"...shit..."

"Eddie, are you ok?'

"Yeah, yeah, just...ok, come"

With a half smile you slowly walk towards his room, starting to hear a slow music spreading in the air. You open the door and Eddie is standing there, holding out his hand and bowing a little in front of you.

"May I have this dance?"

A smile spreads over your face as you take his hand with yours, Eddie pulls you against him and wastes no time before he wraps his arms around your hips. You giggles as your bodies begin to move in time of music swinging slowly on one side and the other, he moves his head back a little to look at you better and then smiles.

"Where were we?"

Your heart melts as you look at those big, dark, sincere eyes within yours. You’ve never felt safer and you're relieved to know he probably feels the same.

Here in his room, here in his arms.

You do what you wanted to do all night and kiss him, tasting those lips you craved so much, so full and soft on yours. Eddie holds you closer, a hand gently leans on your cheek and the cold metal of his rings makes your head spin.

When a few seconds later your lips separate your heart beats wildly.

"I love you" you whisper, leaning your head on his chest. You hear him smile, his fingers sink into your hair as you keep moving together, slowly.

"I love you too, sweetheart."

I’ve come to the conclusion that as shitty as it was for Avril to break up with Mod while he’s out on tour it ended up being a “ blessing in disguise” because at least he’s not alone. He’s surrounded by fans who love and adore him every night as well as his band mates. And watching him on stage I deff got the feeling that performing ( especially the songs about her) was very cathartic and therapeutic for him, and a way to get out his anger about the situation. And while I don’t actually know how Mod is really doing I got the vibe that he’s overcoming the initial sadness and heartbreak and is moving on to the anger and resentment stage of grieving a relationship. Below are some things I noticed that gave me this feeling…

Before Karma he said “Everyday this song becomes more and more relevant in my life” and told us to put our middle fingers up.

During Revenge he changed the lyric from “tell me how you sleep at night” to “tell me who you FUCKED last night?”

Before Avril’s song he said “Tonight we’ll call this next one Cleveland’s Song”

Before Flames he said “I might need some help for this next one but I’m still gonna perform it because it’s MY SONG , it’s MY HIT SONG and nothings gonna take that away from me”

He also made it a point to mention his sobriety ( probably because he saw fans online worrying about it or because he saw Avril Stans calling him a junkie) but anyways he said he’s still 3 years and ( I believe) 26 days clean and Sober.

The Gang In My Continuation Fic Explained

Most of these are based on how I read into the characters in both movies so clearly they are personal interpretation, you don’t have to agree with them. I hope you enjoy tho!

Marcus:

- Comes across as intimidating a lot mainly due to his appearance.

- Is actually a really nice guy, just typically really stressed out worrying about his kid (now kids), brothers, and their finances. He’s a bit silly in nature and protective, he loves taking care of others in any way he can.

- Has relaxed a lot after Sing 1 due to their debt being paid off (thanks Nana) and is mainly just focused on making sure his kids are happy and safe.

- Very much family oriented and spends pretty much every single moment of his day with his family. He doesn’t really feel the need to expand his social circle past this radius either, he just wants to be with his family.

- Decently overprotective of Johnny due to his mum dying when he was young (and him being his last piece of her) as well as Johnny’s struggles with both his health and social life as a child. He constantly is worried about his son and if he’s ok and happy, sometimes being overbearing without meaning to. He just wants his son to have a good life.

- He will primarily show affection in form of Acts of Service and Quality Time, but uses a lot of Words of Affirmation and Physical Touch (hugs, hair ruffling, forehead kisses) with his kids.

- Was disowned formally when he was 24 but had always had a horrible relationship with his birth family. He changed his name to Marcus when that happened.

- Out of the gang, he’s the mediator. He’s the bridge between Stan’s chaos and impulsivity and Barry’s bluntness and cool nature. He typically ends up settling their arguments and only propsed the idea of the gang out of necessity.

- Came out as Demisexual after doing research to support Johnny (who identifies as a Demiboy).

- Had a punk phase growing up which is wear his jacket (that’s now Johnny’s) originates.

- ADHD and struggles a lot with abandonment issues as well as rejection sensitive dysphoria. He is now in therapy though.

- Within the troupe, he’s closet to Rosita and Norman, mainly due to them taking care of Johnny while he was in jail as his son’s foster parents but also because of their more calm nature.

- The best way to describe him is: stressed, worried, and slightly overprotective dad.

Stan:

- Basically looks like a (very slightly) chiller version of a party loving college student.

- He’s always full of energy and down for whatever, even if it’s a bad idea. Very much a daredevil and adrenaline junkie, he’s never really been one for rules and is a trailblazer of his own path in life.

- A bit more obviously fun-loving compared to how he was in Sing 1 now, due to his debts being paid off (thanks again Nana) and his family’s relationships being on the mend.

- Spends a lot of times with his brothers and family, as well as being  the social butterfly of the group and actually having a fair number of friends outside of it he hangs out with.

- Like Marcus, he is also a bit overprotective of Johnny (though definitely less than his older brother). However, he does also enjoy teasing Johnny constantly.

- When he met the theatre adults for the first time, he became fast friends with Gunter due to their similar personalities, but he is also decently friendly with Buster as well.

- Comes off as rude a lot due to how quiet he is and very few facial expressions in public.

- While he is very blunt in both nature and speech, Barry is very passionate about things, just isn’t one to use a lot of things to express that. He is also highly intelligent and is on track to get his doctorate degree.

- He has started to focus more on getting his degree compared to Sing 1, now that he has time since he isn’t constantly working due to debt (Nana is a godssend).

- Prefers to spend any time he’s not with his family alone, is the exact opposite of Stan in this case. However, this rule is a way to see if Barry considers a person family as he does not really see people as friends. They’re either family or strangers.

- He is somewhere in-between Marcus and Stan’s levels of overprotectiveness of Johnny. He is the closest to Johnny out of him and Stan and has been the boy’s confidant since he was little, so he typically knows more about the situations that the other two. He does also join Stan in teasing Johnny though.

- Primarily shows affection through Quality time, particulary in the form of body doubling. The only exception to this rule is Johnny (who he does have a soft spot for) and will occasionally use Words of Affirmation or Physical Touch (mainly short hugs).

- Was raised in a group house in foster care and never really connected with anyone there. Has no contact with anyone from his birth family either.

- Out of the gang, he’s the voice of reason. he protested the robberies in the first place and was the one to insist on them learning medical training first. He’s the direct contrast to Stan.

- Has been out as bisexual since grade school and was bullied for it for awhile before Stan stepped in. Was the first to put together that Johnny was gay and supported him.

- Unsuprisingly to his family, he isn’t really close to any adult member of the troupe. He’s always struggled with connecting with people. However, he is fond of Rosita due to how much she helped Johnny while they were in jail and will occasionally play games online with Eddie.

There are so many other episodes that have little bits that are my favorite - like the toothbrush snake, all of Jim's little sideplot life capers and attempts to get Pete married, how I totally ship Pete with Juju at least to some degree, lots of other random funny incidents they have to take care of, Jim directing the drunk guy directing traffic, Pete's face whenever he encounters child abuse, Pete's spidey sense... I love Jim but clearly I'm here for Pete alright.

*"Elegy for a Pig" is hard to watch ok - I know this show is pro-lapd propaganda but it's good propaganda 9/10 times, this one just Hurts (and isn't even a proper episode really).

**Excessive Force is also very very hard to watch on the content level. This show is not overtly graphic or gruesome and it's the 70s, they don't show much. But the writing knew they didn't have to show or say much at all most of the time to get the point across.

This is already very long so I'm not going to go episode by episode for my least favorites, but the one where they end up in a ridiculous confrontation with a wrestler? Yeah that is way down low on my list lol. Essentially, when the writers wanted to show a Situation (generally based on real life incidents) but didn't have a good way to justify it happening to the characters, it loses points with me. Those boys had weapons and backup, and they're not idiots, so those episodes are not my beloved.

Also, dealing with racial issues is sometimes iffy. For example, the episode "The Militants" is... a weird one. I don't hate it. I think the writers meant well, but it doesn't come off very well and has some pretty cringe moments and dialogue where it had the opportunity to be important. Often, episodes like this feel more like they are missing the nuance and other side of the truth they're telling. (Sometimes they hit the mark better: for example, "Pig is a Three Letter Word" has the saving grace of the Jessie Smith character in an otherwise very not-nuanced look at very complex issues.) I do appreciate that the show repeatedly displays stupid racist characters being stupid and getting their just desserts.

You have to accept the hippie slang too. You just gotta roll with it and laugh a little at deliveries ok? To their credit, Pete and Jim stand up for the hippies roughly the same amount of times they end up arresting them for drugs. XD

Some people are bothered by the portrayal of female characters in the show. I'm somewhere in the middle. I think it portrays them mostly honestly as the world went at the time, and a few have genuinely great roles and characterization - sadly, not many of Pete's girlfriends are in this number. 🙈 Pete is also a bit of a womanizer but he's also pretty respectful still, he just needs help ok. Jim is great for him that way. 👏 However, there are definitely episodes where a woman has been threatened or victimized and is not treated with the concern she should be in those situations and I do yell at my tv during those moments. XD

Lastly, this show has no filler. It starts to get there a little in later seasons, but mostly it's just pop pop pop action to action. This is great, I actually love the pacing of the show. It just... it means... well it means we don't get nice little comfort scenes with the boys after most of their hard days and I would personally like a little more of that ok? (rip the end of the often cute/relaxed little credit scenes after the first couple seasons)

i like childe as a character but childe stans are really cringe most of the time. they’re always like ‘he’s just misunderstood hes not a bad guy’ but the thing is that he IS a bad guy and the whole misunderstood thing gets a little complicated.

i mean hes only like 20 and hes a psycho battle junkie war criminal clearly there’s gonna be underlying circumstances but to fully understand whether or not childe is really misunderstood, we gotta go back in time to when he was a literal child. we don’t get to really see childe’s past but his character stories do give us a fair amount of information. young childe (ajax) was apparently very timid until he fell into the abyss and was taught that being timid and weak would only get him killed. childe adapted his personality to enable him to survive in the abyss, and thats what got him in trouble when he came back to teyvat and didn’t know what to do with his newly developed violend tendencies. this is an instance where childe is truly misunderstood. his family doesn’t know what he experienced in the abyss to make him this way, partly because childe himself refused to speak of it. childe’s violent tendencies came about as a result of the trauma of his entire life being upended— thrown from the community of a quiet fishing village into the kill-or-be-killed environment of the abyss.

however, what happened in childes past doesn’t make him misunderstood in the present. he’s a fatui harbinger and his priority is to serve the tsaritsa before anything else. just because he wreaks a little more havoc than his job description requires doesn’t mean he’s not loyal. just by looking at him and seeing the fatui mask he wears, anyone would know that. the motivations for his actions are clear. one could argue that childe is ‘misunderstood’ by the ppl of liyue bc they think he killed rex lapis, which he didn’t, but he was GOING TO if zhongli hadnt faked his death first. and with osail, anyone who says that childe knew no one was going to get hurt is kidding themselves. The goal of summoning osail was to draw out the gnosis, but childe hints at knowing that the exuvia was all a big hoax, but if the point of that hoax was to expose childe and the tsaritsa’s plans, then someone other than the traveler would have been there to apprehend him. the only other explaination for using the exuvia as a prop is that the real rex lapis wanted to distance himself. childe would have known there was no guarantee that rex lapis would show himself and theres no way he could have predicted everything that went down with the adepti and ningguang sacrificing the jade chamber so in short: childe knew there was a high probability of people getting hurt and he just didn’t care. all this to say that childe acted to fulfill his mission issued by the tsaritsa, and even though things all worked out in the end, its clear that childe gas a general disregard for human life. it’s not that he doesn’t have emotions, as he clearly cares for his little siblings, and he’s also fairly attached to zhongli (as shown by the betrayal he feels upon learning that zhongli was rex lapis the whole time), but because of his experiences in the abyss and the fatui, violence is so engrained into him that it’s pretty much the only way he knows how to solve his problems.

in conclusion, childe stans, stop trying to justify childes actions, the fact that hes so unjustified in the violence he displays is part of what makes him such a good character. dont ruin him

HIII LEN ꉂ(ˊᗜˋ*)♡ Sorry for the late reply, I have been kidnapped and subjected to academical torture but here I am again!!

Lolol I have a bunch of ocs!! Mostly of them are fandom ocs (so if there's a fandom you are interested in, do tell! I might have something, I love talking about ocs) and a few non-fandom ocs, I wasn't sure which one do you want to know about so I'm just going to ramble a bit (๑'ᴗ')ゞ

I think I will begin with my main two Genshin ocs and a secret third I'm currently working on 🤭, Lore (travelersona), Vivi (self-insert) and Qinxi (Liyue oc I'm working on, provisional name), because they may be the closest to my heart due to the heavy editing I have done to them!!

The premise is like this: she is an adventurer who is searching for her lost sister, and found Aether (since I choose him at the beginning because pretty boys) and ended up forming a tag-team, since they knew both of them wouldn't distract themselves from their individual goal.

So the first one of them is Lore/Lorena! She is an oc I created based on how I used my traveler and what I did with them. She is under very heavy editing, which she needed, because I have a need of being correct about the lore labdmsdl.

She loves climbing and uses a claymore. Her vision was going to be anemo, but that may be put under revision. She also loves gliding and jumping off a cliff only to open the glider last second hehe <33 she's kinda an adrenaline junkie.

In the end, the lore I thought for her was that she and her sister were children who ended up living in Khaenri'ah and was saved by Gold from a disease (under the exchange of letting her doing experiments on her) so she ended up having a artificial heart (this is a classic for me ♡) and living far more than an average person. For the fall of Khaenri'ah I had thought of having her sleep (as in, making it seem like the operation was close to that event) so her sister (alongside Lumine, because I stan Abyss Lumine so much, they are girlfriends) saved her somehow. Now the details have to be carefully thought more. But that is the general premise I wanted her to have.

But because of the recent lore, I'm afraid I will have to put her on hold, since they touched quite a lot about Khaenri'ah.

And now, my darling, mi joya de la corona, the character I have most thought of and the one I probably love the most.

Vivi is a self-insert that was born due to the question: okay, but realistically, what would I do if I ended up in Teyvat? The answer was to try to work in the Knights of Favonius' Library. And it just, snowballed from there.

Mind you, this story is also completely self-indulgent and I'm proud about it. But I also wanted angst, so I had to balance both. And since I know myself and I know I would not get involved in the plot whatsoever if I knew where I was, I decided to give her a 'reincarnated villainess'-que type of beginning but making it spicy.

She's the adopted daughter of a mechanic from Fontaine and she learned a lot from him, but decided her call in life was learning ancient languages (she didn't know where she was getting into truly 💔) and got into the Akademiya. And here is where the plot thickens!

She was roped into trying to connect with the Irminsul (since a lot of people can't at first time, she was like 'why not, once and last') aand ended up connecting with the Irminsul. With that, she got her memories from her previous life (this will be expanded about if I ever get to write a fic lol) and was like 'shit'. In the end it was too late for her to withdraw from the Akademiya because she already knew canon characters (aka Kaveh and Alhaitham) and the students' debt was going to be incommensurable. So she graduated and took a job as archivist in the Akademiya.

And as soon as she could, she asked for a transfer and booked it off to Mondstadt.

She's obsessively afraid of Celestia and about knowing things (since I am a lore player) and about being persecuted by them, so she didn't want to get a vision nor have anything to do with any canon event if she could help it. So she gets a vision and let me tell you she's excited (not). She legit threw it out of her window when she saw it.

And now rightfully afraid since Celestia is aware of her, she lives her life as if she didn't know anything in Springvale.

Okay this is messy but I have a lot of lore about her, so I might expand on a different post if only for archive purposes.

For now, I am brainstorming about Sumeru's archon quest, because she will not be spared of it and her relationship with Nahida and Wanderer. It's getting pretty interesting to say the least, but still a work in process.

The last one of my ocs is Qinxi (沁汐 to seep; night tides; still working on the name and having to fact-check ;-;). She still doesn't have an assigned vision or weapon, but I'm inclined towards hydro.

She was going to be a pharmacologist or a collector of medicinal plants and work with Baizhu, but the idea quickly evolved into her being a make up maker. Like, the very expensive type of make up.

She's not quite developed yet, but I have a bit of her backstory: she wanted to be an artist but her family wanted her to follow their steps (they are all make up makers). It wasn't like she didn't want to be a make up maker but wanted a bit more of life. Now she fulfills both of her dreams, making make up and hand-painting the boxes.

Both of then are so finely done that Ningguang has a full-time contract with her so she gets priority in her orders (and who's going to complain??).

She definitely deserves to have more brainstorming but a lad does as she can ಥ‿ಥ

That's it, at least. All of them still need a lot of developing process and tie down details, but they are all my darlings who I love.
