i just read the lunar chronicles for the first time and imagine my DISMAY when jacin clay turned out to be a man and not a lesbian (he looks so feminine in every fanart i see of him??), imagine how good sapphic jacinter could have been😔💔=

I am so sorry, I made him a pretty boy because I imagine Lunar beauty standards (which he needs to go along with considering his job) to lean more towards the androgynous/feminine side. No one ever thinks any of my other pretty boy designs are women, I have no idea why Jacin specifically has such enormous lesbian energy, but my bet is on his intense, forbidden knightly yearning. HII so... have you... perhaps... 👉👈... written something... about winter jacin? (i am going crazy because there's not enough content of these two seriously i CRY everytime i see a fanart of them its pathetic 😭)

Don't get me wrong, I like Jacinter. I enjoy reading their scenes. I appreciate their individual personalities and their joint dynamic, and I feel that I could write that fairly authentically. But for some reason, I just cannot put pen to paper with those two. I have no good ideas! I wrote one long headcanon for them (which I CANNOT find, curse you tumblr search functionnnnn) and that's pretty much it.

Yes, I am ashamed of my weakness. However, I do believe it is best to leave this to the experts. So if you'd like some Jacinter content, go over to @eerna's blog, or read this impeccable fic by @hayleblackburn. They can give you truer jacinter than I ever could.

#Lunar10YearsLater — Wow does this series mean a lot to me! It’s a miracle when an author can get you to like every. single. character in a 9 character/POV story, and Marissa Meyer did it! I remember binging the last 3 books and Fairest over spring break in 2016, and coming back to class feeling super accomplished, especially since I read Winter (824 pages!!) in only 4 days! Well, now I can handle it in 3, maybe next time 2 👀

The Rampion Crew holds a special place in my heart, and I’m super proud of how this group piece came out! I was working on a random project and Listening to the lunar chronicles again. for the millionth time :) at some ridiculous hour of the night when I heard a scene and went 'haaa I am now going to abandon this project I abandoned another project for so I can draw these beautiful humans.' and so I did.

this is from Winter, the scene really hit different for some reason. it's my first time drawing Jacin that I would actually call a drawing, and yeah I think it turned out pretty good.

there are a lot of slides cuz I'm a little crazy and wanted a lotta different versions of this cuz yeah.

I hope y'all liked it, I really enjoyed drawing it and consider it a very good use of time that few people will even see. tis ok tho. I shall look at it and smile from time to time. ily, be safe.
