5 Centimeters per Second (Makoto Shinkai, 2007)
Cast: Voices of Kenji Mizuhashi, Yoshimi Kondou, Satomi Hanamura, Ayaka Onoue. Screenplay: Makoto Shinkai. Cinematography: Makoto Shinkai. Art direction: Makoto Shinkai, Film editing: Makoto Shinkai. Music: Tenmon.
Makoto Shinkai's eye-dazzling, tearjerking anime has many admirers, but I tend to side with the detractors that think the spectacular images overwhelm an insubstantial story of young love frustrated by time and space. Shinkai crafts magnificent settings, creating vivid skies while also paying meticulous attention to mundane details like railway cars and shop interiors, but his human characters are sketchy, even at times kitschy: his little girls have huge eyes like the children in Margaret Keane's paintings.

Hello there! For the mini event may you please do gintama with the au avatar the last airbender, thank you!
Hello there, my lovely anon! I definitely can do that - I really couldn't come up with solid ideas, so I admit to taking the lazy way out, so have a pretty comprehensive list on what type of Benders everyone would be in this AU! And guys, there are so many characters in Gintama so I swear it wasn't as easy and lazy as it looks! Thanks for sending in a request and I hope you'll enjoy!
Okay, so we're going into this AU with there being the four major bending types - Earth, Air, Fire and Water. Each bending type is as it is portrayed in Avatar: The Last Airbender, with people possessing different degrees of bending and different skills being present within each bending type.
So, when considering which type of Bender each character would be, I kind of broke it down into personality types and traits and qualities to look for, based on what I figure the 'stereotypical' Bender is for each of the four.
Earth Benders are a little rough around the edges, slow to anger, slow to decide on things, but stubborn once their mind is made up. They can be sensitive and they are often very patient.
Air Benders are gentle souls, respectful and adaptable, changeable. They're fast, both in their movements and in their thoughts.
Water Benders are typically calm and easy-going, flexible enough to adapt to their companions or situations. They're often quite easy to talk to and rather content with their lives.
Fire Benders are often prideful and confident individuals who are loyal, determined and ambitious. They can be very playful and fun but they often also have very short fuses on their tempers, which can be very volatile and explosive.
Keeping that in mind, this is what I figure the characters would be for Benders.

Kenji: As long as it's a gift from you, Soushi will be happy even if it's a stone from the side of the road.
Misao: -sighs- The stone has already been sent.

5 centímetros por segundo (秒速5センチメートル) (2007) Director: Makoto Shinkai, Actores: Kenji Mizuhashi, Yoshimi Kondou, Satomi Hanamura, Ayaka Onoue.

Reborn Canon AU
basically, what if Canon was reborn instead of disappearing?, mostly a compilation of a serie of tweet i made earlier, so this shit is long.
So exodus ep.17 happens, then at the beginning of ep.18 when all the pilots come to rakuen, they find canon’s sunhat and final message laying on the table...and a sleeping, redheaded baby laying on the chair, in canon’s dress.
After the initial shock, Kenji is the first one to react. He wraps the baby in the dress and heads up for ALVIS to give it a checkup. aside from being hungry, the baby is healthy. Then it dawns on everyone: that baby is canon. She’s given to Youko, who is in a state of confusion/disbelief the whole time. Some things i can see being sort of cute in a weird way are mini-canon being held by Youko during Kenji and Sakura wedding, and when Soushi asks for Canon, the two guiding him to a baby (cue awkward silence).
Pretty much tatsumiyajima half of exodus but with bitty canon thrown in the mix. Reborn soushi happens, and Maya and Kazuki are stuck with baby versions of their friends. Mini Canon is raised by Youko, with visits from Maya-neechan and Sakura-san. Kazuki comes sometimes with Soushi, and the two kids quickly become friends. Due to having a less bleak upbringing, Mini-Canon is a bit more sociable and outgoing than the original Canon (she still enjoys spending time alone thought). She is also blissfully unaware of her past-self: She knows about Shoko and the entire festum war (What would be the point in keeping it secret again, after all?), but she doesn’t know her real origin (like Soushi, everyone agreed to let them know when they were older) Youko just told her she was an orphan from ireland.
Maya has conflicted feelings about her: on one hand she loves her to death, and on the other, she's conflicted about the fact that she is and isn't her canon at the same time. Kazuki. suffering a bit of guilt of what happend to the original Canon, is protective of her too. Sakura and Kenji love her too, and treat her as part of their family. She’s pretty much everyone’s daughter.
Mini-Canon is also quite close with Mini-Soushi, and she’s also friends with Kenji and Sakura’s kid, Mamoru.
Sometimes, she also gets strange deja-vu feeling around various places and people; when she’s with Youko, she feels like she’s known her before she was even born, too. Around Kazuki she gets fluttery feelings so she avoids going to rakuen when she’s feeling that way. Sometimes she accidentally calls Sakura-san by her first name instead of her surname, the same happens with Kenji. And when she’s with Maya-neechan, she also feels even weirder. She also gets strange flashes of other things: an abandoned museum, a red-colored fafner, the Human Army, a man in his mid-twenties who looks like Miwa-san, the old island they all used to live in...
The only other person she knows feels the same things is Soushi, so they confide in each other.
Beyond happens, and when she and Soushi discover the truth, out of the two, she takes it badly and has a crisis: Why she’s finding out now? why no one told her about the “other” her? did they love her? wasn’t she that important for everyone to bother and remember her? do they actually love her or just see her as a replacement for the “other her?. She asks people on the island who knew the original her to share stories about her past self, and tries to emulate her (but fails at doing so). Hurt by this, she distances herself from others and becomes colder. She refuses to return home and stays in Miwa’s house. She also refuses to face everyone; she’s simply so confused and hurt by all of this. If everyone told her about Shoko, why they never told her about her past self? It takes a pep talk from Soushi (who’s dealing with his own problems with Kazuki) for her realize that she's not a replacement, but her own self. The next morning, she apologizes to Youko, and tells her she’s glad she’s her mother.
Some highlights:
Her full name actually is Hazama Kanon (羽佐間 かのん) (written in hiragana instead of katakana, to differentiate the two) She’s fourteen years old (her birthday is obviously, the day Canon disappeared).
Inherited the original Canon liking for candy, and even thought Youko nags her for eating them without restraint, she doesn’t listen.
Her wardrobe consists of Shoko’s and Canon old clothes (and some hand-me-downs from either Maya or Sakura).
Chocolat and Kuu are fond of her. She’s fond of them too, but doesn’t trusts Kuu at all.
When she wore the ALVIS uniform the first time, she had no clue why Maya-neechan, Mom, Sakura-san, Kenji-san and Makabe-san broke down crying.
When she turns sixteen, she lets her hair grow to conmemorate her past self.
Well, that’s all for now orz. Just some silly mussings of mine, really.

The Beyond Predictions
Sakura and Kenji have a kid named Mamoru
Fumihiko and Chizuru finally hook up
Reo and Mimika have a thing
Rina still ignores Sui but is nicer to him
Reborn!Soushi is a know-it-all because he’s retained his original’s knowledge but not his memories
Kazuki is hyper-protective of his kid and still misses Original!Soushi like crazy
Reborn!Soushi becomes the Tatsumiyajima core and makes Altair not good but neutral
Miaso doesn’t assimilate Miwa because technically there’s no peace but a stalemate
The two Alvis become one big Alvis
Kazuki dies and meets his Soushi again
We cry
The End.
